Error in export

Question

Subject: exp query=\"where to_char\(DATE_FIELD\,\'MMYYYY\'\)=\'032006\'\"
RDBMS Version: 9.2.0.7
Operating System and Version: AIX 5
Error Number (if applicable): LRM-00101
Product (i.e. SQL*Loader, Import, etc.): export
Product Version: 9.2.0.7
exp query=\"where to_char\(DATE_FIELD\,\'MMYYYY\'\)=\'032006\'\"
I am taking export using query option with the following syntax.
exp query=\"where to_char\(DATE_FIELD\,\'MMYYYY\'\)=\'032006\'\"
It giving the following error:
LRM-00101: unknown parameter name 'to_char(DATE_FIELD,'MMYYYY')'
May I know the reason/any snntax error for this error?

What's all the command line which you use ?
It's working find here on 1IX5.2 and Oracle 9.2.0.4 :
