Error in Extraction through RSA3

Hello,
I am trying to extract data from my DataSource through RSA3, but Iam getting Error while Extraction data,.
The display log error says"S:RSSDK:300 [DataDirect][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Object has been closed."
Regards,
Mayank
Points -> Thanks

The setting are fine. we have already checked that.
If we delete our Infosource, is the FM created though this also gets deleted from the Function Group.
Please let me know what else can be done on this error issue.

  • Error during Extraction in RSA3.

    Hi,
I have activated the datasource 0JOB_ATTR in R3 site. I can see it in RSA6 but when I try to extract data from RSA3 it is giving an error message like : Errors occurred during the extraction..
Any help on this highly appreciated..
    Regards
    Uday

0JOB_ATTR not in use and SAP replaced this with 0EC_CJOB_ATTR... U have to use 0EC_CJOB_ATTR to load master data for 0JOB.
Even i faced the same problem and found the following info in one of the SDN thread, and we are using 0EC_CJOB_ATTR (make sure u have data in table HRP5050).
I have sent a message to SAP asking for the solution . Below is the reply what they gave.
"This error appears because of naming conventions we have to switch the name of the Data Source from 0JOB_ATTR to 0EC_CJOB_ATTR. Please use this data source to extract the compensation job attributes to BW.
Note also that data source 0EC_CJOB_ATTR extracts data from table HRP5050.
If no data is being extracted please do the following:
If you have data in HRP5050 and still do not get any data please try the following :
    1) Take over the Data Source from the business content (RSA5)again and check in RSA3 .
    2) Replicate the Data Source to BW
    3) Activate the Info Source again.
    4) Delete any previous delta initializations for the datasource.
    5) Initialize the delta again
    6) Try to load data".
    Hope it helps.

  • Error during extraction through InfoSource: 0CO_OM_OPA_1

Currently we are extracting the data from SAP R/3 System into BW System through InfoSource 0CO_OM_OPA_1 (Orders: Costs and allocations)which is a part of the process chain. But we are getting the error as follows:
Idocs missing: No selection information arrived from the source s
    Diagnosis
Background processing has not been completed in the source system. A short dump has most probably been logged in the source system.
    System response
No selection information arrived from the source s
    Procedure
Look for the short dump belonging to your data request in the short dump overview in the source system. Be sure of the correct date and time in the selection screen.
You can get the short dump list using the Wizard or from the monitor detail screen via the path "Environment -> Short dump -> Source system".
We have also checked the short dump in R/3 Production System, we are geeting following error details:
    Runtime Error          DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
    Exception              CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
An SQL error occurred when accessing a table.
    Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
    neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
    "REOM_OM_READ_COSP_DATA" "(FUNCTION)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
    How to correct the error
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
    "REOM_OM_READ_COSP_DATA"
"(FUNCTION)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
Database error text........: "ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 2560
    in tablespace PSAPTEMP"
    Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/FTCH/COSP ]"
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
    use the following search criteria:
    "DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
    "SAPLREOM " or "LREOMU08 "
    "REOM_OM_READ_COSP_DATA"
After this we have also extend temp segment by 2560
in tablespace PSAPTEMP" and after that we have loaded the data manually but we are getting same eror, how to solve this problem. So, please help us to slove this problem.

    Hi,
it seems that was a lack of space table problem.
This DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR comes due to lack of table space .. If you package didn't finish yet, please execute ST22 and SM21 and look for errors and dumps.
U can catch the error in ur program. this error occurs whenever database access exceeds some limit & the error is fired.
This should point you to the DB issue... frequently a table space issue.

    Symptom
On BW tables that belong to an InfoCube, statistics are calculated (COMPUTE) instead of estimated with the set percentage (ESTIMATE). This results in high runtimes.
    Other terms
    InfoCube, database, Oracle statistics
    Reason and Prerequisites
In the Oracle-specific RSDU_ANALYZE_TABLE_ORA BW function, in some situations an estimation is made as to how many records are in the table to be analyzed. A SELECT in the USER_TABLES table is specifically used for this. If there is no value there now, 0 is returned and a COMPUTE is carried out. COMPUTE is considerably fasterer than ESTIMATE on small tables (under 10000 approximately).
However, if the table is too big and if the statistics were deleted by a brconnect run that ran shortly beforehand, the above situation of long runtimes mentioned above can occur.
    Solution
    BW 3.0B
Import Support Package 27 or 3.0B (BW3.0B Patch 27 or SAPKW30B27) into your BW system. The Support Package will become available oncenote 723258 with the short text, "SAPBWNews BW3.0B Support Package 27", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.
    BW 3.10 Content
Import Support Package 21 for 3.10 (BW3.10 Patch 21 or SAPKW31021 ) into your BW system. The Support Package will become available once <Z1>note 723263 with the short text, "SAPBWNews BW3.1 Content SP 21", which describes this Support Package in more detail, is released for customers.
    BW 3.50

In urgent cases, you can use the correction instructions.
To provide information in advance, the notes mentioned may already be made available before the Support Packages are released. However, the short text in this case will still contain the words "Preliminary version".

  • Error while extracting through delta DTP

    Hi All ,
I am extracting data from one DSO say A to another DSO say B . For the first time when i am executing the first DTP load which is full load it is getting successfully executed . In this DTP the data is being taken from the active table .
After this when i am executing the delta DTP which is taking data from the change log the process is getting executed . I am getting data in the new data section . But the status of the table is remaining yellow.
When i am trying to forcefully make it green it is showing "Lock Table Overflow error" .
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this ??
    thanks
    Sam

    hi Anup ,
In 3.x we have to run init before delta . but in 7.0 when we run a delta dtp for the first time for loading into a Infoprovider , that delta update is marked as deltainit extraction and then the subsequent delta loads occur successfully .
Also i have ran that full dtp just to test whether full dtp is also giving same problem or not ? when it succeeded i deleted the data and then ran the delta DTP .
So the delta DTP is loading data for the first time into the DSO so it will act as deltainit.
Correct me if i am wrong.

  • Authorization Error while extracting data after applying SAP upgrade patch

    Hello All,
Recently we have updated the SAP BW patch to 24 and ECC patch to 22. I have the access to perform extraction in RSA3 tcode in ECC.
However, While performing the data load in BW, the process is failing at the Infopackage step with the following error:
"You do not have authorization to extract from Datasource XXXX, Component FI-IO. Message no. R8073"
My basis guy has given the necessary acces.. but still the issue persists..
Please provide solutions ASAP... its very critical issue...
    Regards
    Sneha

    Hi,
Are you loading the data with your username? it may cause problem sometimes because you may not have the authorization object S_RO_OSOA assigned in your roles.
Try scheduling the loading job with the background user with which normally the process chains are run.
i guess this should solve your problem, if not try adding this authorization object to the corresponding role and you can run with your user name itself.
I am not sure about the auth objt , try and see.
    regards,
    karthik.

  • Error while extraction from R3 : URGENT

While extracting from R/3 generic datasource(extracted through function module ) i am getting error as :
<b>Error message from the source system
    Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
    System response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
    Further analysis:
The error occurred in Extractor .
    Refer to the error message.
    Procedure
How you remove the error depends on the error message.
    Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the</b>
<u>But when I am running the FM or the extractor checker it is giving actual records with our any error</u>
Could you please help me what to do ?
No job log in job overview , only it is given <b>Cancelled</b>.

    Some possibilities:
    1. Replicate the data source and then try loading.
    2. Check the RFC connection ; may be it is broken.
    3. Check the update rules to see it is active.

  • Error while extracting data from data source 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL, in RSA7

    Hi Gurs,
I'm getting the below error while extracting data from data source 0RT_PA_TRAN_CONTROL, in RSA7. (Actullly this is IS Retail datasource used to push POSDM data into BI cubes)
    The error is:
Update mode "Full Upload" is not supported by the extraction API
    Message no. R3011
    Diagnosis
The application program for the extraction of the data was called using update mode "Full Upload". However, this is not supported by the InfoSource.
    System Response
    The data extraction is terminated.
    Procedure
Check for relevant OSS Notes, or send a problem message of your own.
Your help in this regd. would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi David,
I have no experience with IS Retail data sources. But as message clearly say this DS is not suppose to be ran in Full mode.
Try to switch you DTPs/Infopackages to Delta mode.
While to checking extraction in source system, within TA RSA3 = Extractor checker, kindly switch Update mode field to Delta.

    Hi Gurus,
I am facing error while extracting data from R/3 Source. 0FIAA, 0FIAP datasources. I am getting the same error repeatedly. No data will come BW. When I checked in RSA3 I can extract records.
    Ther Error is as follows:

    Diagnosis
No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
    System response

    Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.
Kindly help. Your points are assured.
    Thanks and Regards
    Prasad

    Hello Prasad,
Have you already checked what happened in the source system ?
You should verify if a job is running in sm37, or if there is no dump runtime errors due to the extraction in st22.
It could be a clue of what happened in R/3.
    Let us know,

  • Thiis error when I execute RSA3 on ECC. Any hints?

    Hi Experts,
can you help me figure out how to fix this problem:
I am on an IDES system used by many for training. I am execute rsa3 and enter any of these datasources:

    Hi,
Looking at the code it seems like there is no error but someone has put explicit Break point in the code, now you have two options,
    1) Once you get the above screen just press F8 and let the extractor proceed. But everytime this will be manual process.
    2) Remove the Break-point statement from the code.
As you said it is asking for Access Key, then get your developer key generated on service.sap.com or contact to your basis team.
    Regards,
    Durgesh.
