Error in F110_IN_AVIS ....URGENT

HI gurus
I am using the F110_IN_AVIS for printing wire transfer transactions.
It is giving the spools for the wire transfer and Payment summary also an error log.
The error log displays that
*1) In F110_IN_AVIS, / WINDOW MAIN, the element 500 ( line items ) is missing.***
**2) In F110_IN_AVIS, / WINDOW SUMMARY, the element 515 ( transfer form closing ) is missing.**
**Then out put of relevant forms is defective.**Please let me know if you find solution for your query. Also let me know which T code is to see the SAP script Text and its contents.

thx for your replay,, yes i too noticed tht it was security/filter isuee in Database(Essbase)
if a user is assigned as Database Access in Essbaseand attached a filter to tht user we are facing this kind of error......
and when user is assigned Application Manager in Essbase this error is not comming..... but if we give Application Manger in Essbase we can't attach filter to tht user this is the issuee......
can you suggest me the better way to solve this.... users should a filter and this eror should not come....

BW error. Need urgent Help( I will give out full points).

We have BW version 3.1 and content 3.3.
We are doing loads to ODS and getting oracle partition error. It gives Oracle partition error ORA-14400. inserted partition key doesn't map to any parititon.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"INSERT_ODS"
(FORM)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.

Invalid Number Error Please help Urgent

Hi,
I am trying to create a report in discoverer where in I get an invalid number error for the statement
,DECODE(final.TYP,'Sales',to_char(final.future_supplpy),'B/O','B/O') sale_type.
We have the requirement that when TYP is Sales i need to display future supply and when the TYP is B/O i need to display B/O.
The query runs perfectly fine in TOAD but in Discoverer Desktop when i run the report i get an error message
invalid number.
Please help its urgent

Hi Ashwani
First of all, your statement appears to not be handling anything other than Sales or B/O. Is that deliberate? If not, you need a default, catch all value at the end like this:
DECODE(final.TYP,'Sales',NVL(final.future_supply,to_char(final.future_supply),'B/O','B/O', default_value) sale_type
You also might want to make sure there aren't any NULL values in future_supply or in TYP and if there are you might want to consider using an NVL for these, like this:
DECODE(final.TYP,'Sales',NVL(to_char(final.future_supply,NULL),'B/O','B/O', default_value) sale_type
Also, when using DECODE you don't always need to use TO_CHAR as the DECODE conversion to a string typically takes place automatically. CASE is different as it insists that all results are of the same data type.

Error FRM-41056, Urgent, Please help.

I am doing validation in post-change trigger of a item. When i am chaning any thing in the item it is fine, but when i am query it from key_block at that time the error message "FRM-41056, Can find the Block: Invalid Id" populating. If i am commented that validation code the form is working fine without validation but there is no error message.
Can any body help why it is happing and solution for this? Please suggest , it is urgent.

ORA-00439 error in Forms URGENT.... URGENT.....

Hi,
i have created a new procedure to import a file on the machine to the database BLOB object. the procedure ran succesfully in the SQL prompt. In the Oracle forms builder, I created a new button and on the WHEN_BUTTON_PRESSED PL/SQL logic, i pasted the same procedure. But I got ORA-00439 error while running the form and clicked on the button. Could anyone of you help me out? Is that something to do with any restrictions on Forms?

Thank you very much. This problem is now solved as I have used FORMS_DDL to execute the procedure from database and not from Forms. But could anyone of you tell me if we can have a link in Forms for BLOB object, where if there is a word document in the database BLOB object, by clicking on that link, that document should open in word. Similarly if there is an image file in the BLOB object, then clicking on that link in Forms should open it some Image processing software which that OS has. Is this really possible? Please let me know. If we update the contents of the document opened, they should get reflected in the database BLOB object. Is this really a HERCULIAN task?

1. I am not able to set SMTP_OUT_SERVER for scope =Both,i can use only SPFILE, Why?

2. I am using oracle 10g Rel1 database.
3. I am using UTL_MAIL.SEND_ATTACH_RAW procedure for sending mail with attachment.

Error 0x 20030003 Urgent help needed . . . .

I made this file last year in either Qx or Photoshop. Exported or saved as a PDF. Since then, I have made changes to it in Photoshop. I sent it off to the printer and he can't open it. I tried, but can't open it either. I get the error number listed above. When I try to open it in reader, I get the message that "root object is missing or invalid".
What do I do and how can I open it?

this error is beacuse the variable substution which is specified in the rceiver file adapter is failling....
ROOT cause:
goto the receiver file adapter of the interface you have moved into PRD...you will c the filename somethinglike this

wehen you did a tranposrt into PRD you went to the change list did u edit the rceiver adapter mandatory fields according to the PRD envinorment? dd u also make sure the variabel substution is not touched when you did this?

SQL Error on production - urgent

Hi Friends
My load failed today due to the following error. I dont understand what could be the problem. I have checked in RSA3 and still short dumped with the same error. It's a load from BW it's self using generic extraction with direct read off table in BW.
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"RSA3_GEN_GET_DATA" "(FUNCTION)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The data read during a SELECT access could not be inserted into the
target field.
Either conversion is not supported for the target field's type or the
target field is too short to accept the value or the data are not in a
form that the target field can accept
Please explain me what to do?

Problem solved. While it is noted that on a DC you cannot run the database as a local service, it is not mentioned that it will not even install if loaded as ANY service. If given a full admin user and password to use as it's operating condition,
the install goes fine. Then change to what is desired. I am not impressed with the error reporting in this install, as even the event logs gave no indication as to the reason for this. Most of the install of the database service went OK (In
the event logs and the install logs.) and when doing the final config, the problem pops up, aborting everything else. You MUST then wipe ALL traces of the first install or different weird failures appear no matter what credentials are used.

Character set migration error to UTF8 urgent

when we migrated from ar8iso889p6 to utf8 characterset we are facing one error when i try to compile one package through forms i am getting error program unit pu not found.
When i running the source code of that procedure direct from database using sqlplus its running wihtout any problem.How can i migrate this forms from ar8iso889p6 to utf8 characterset. We migrated from databas with ar8iso889p6 oracle 81.7 database to oracle 9.2. database with character set UTF8 (windows 2000) export and import done without any error
I am using oracle 11i inside the calling forms6i and reports 6i

1) this is server side program yaa when connecting with forms i am getting error .When i am running this program using direct sql its working when i running compiling i am getting this error.
3) yes i am using 11 i (11.5.10) inside its calling forms 6i and reports .Why this is giving problem using forms.Is there any setting changing in forms nls_lang

what i understand from your question is that you are trying to compile a procedure from a forms interface at client side?
if yes you should check the code in the forms that is calling the compilation package.
does it contains strings that might be affected from the character set change???
