Error in generating an Invoice via Copy To and Copy From method

Hi All,
Im having this problem when Copying To and Copying From Delivery to Invoice. The Error message is : 'Internal error (%ld) occurred, 'Internal error (-5002) occured' [Message 131 - 183]. Some Delivery can Copy to and Copy from to Invoice.

Let me tell you its a wrong forum where you posted your query.
You should post your query in SAP Business One Core Forum.
Now for your doubt I guess You are trying to copy Service Type AR Invoice in Item Type Credit Memo.
Just check your Document Type (Item or Service) must be same for both Target and Base Doc while Copy......

Slow creating AP Invoice when "Copy from" GRPO is used

Hi,
I was creating an AP Invoice by "copying from" an existing GRPO and the process was slow. I took 10 minutes to successfully add the AP Invoice after clicking the "add" button. Creating an invoice directly - not copying from a PO or a GRPO - gave no problems
i tried asking all the other users to log off from sap first but it was just the same - slow creating AP Invoice.
What could we do to solve this? Thank you.

Thanks Gordon, I see only three UDFs in those document types and just one FMS.
I already did shrink the Log and set the recovery model to "simple" though i do not think that it would help much as the Log is not growing wild in size.

Error in generating COM DLL via DCOM Object Builder

Hi,
For those who might encounter a similar problem, I manage to solve the problem by installing the DCOM Connector from the same SAP GUI CD (ver 6.2).   I had the impression to download the DCOM Connector from sap.com but they have the 4.6D version which causes a problem if you are using a higher version of SAP Gui. The rule of thumb is to install the RFC SDK and DCOM Connector from the the same SAP GUI CD.
Just note that DCOM Connector is reaching End-of-life.

Before anything update DB shared lib, R3load, R3ldctl and R3szchk in the target system. Also Check in source system if you have any tables o index missing in db02 transaction, If this system wa upgraded from a previous release please check TAORA and IAORA tables in source system and check all the tablespaces named in those tables are created in the target system.

New Layer Via Copy from Extension

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to create a new layer using the Layer > New > Layer Via Copy functionality... and I did scan the code using the Scripting Plug-in with this result:

I've tried to change "undefined" for "null" or any other idea... but with no luck. What am I doing wrong here?

Reselect is way too flaky to rely on, and is not going to survive long at the best of times. I find the whole saving selections thing too time consuming and an annoying interruption of workflow — even if you right click and save an alpha channel. So I nearly always copy the selected pixels to a new layer, because it works on so many levels. You can ctrl click the layer to reload the selection; use layer styles, create shadows under the layer…
Best practice is to add the Alt (Opt) key to Ctrl j so you remember to name it.

Do we have option not to refresh the data in AP invoice while copying from GRN and change the date of the invoice in SAP 9 PL 0

I have update tax details in GRPO but while copy to AP invoice system pick posting date/ document date as system date and if i change the date the screen refresh and the tax details i have updated it change. that i do not want.
Is there any option so that GRPO date will copy in ap invoice so that i need not to refresh the screen

Please provide an example for tax details. Make note on these,
1. Whenever copy GRPO to AP invoice, posting and document date is system date. This is default design system
2. If you change these dates in AP invoice, your payment to vendor leads to confusion.
For example:
You have received items on 25-03-2014. But vendor raised invoice on 03/04/2014.

Generating pdf report via concurrent manager and xml publisher

I have report (rdf) which works fine in eBusiness Suite but Id like to create translatable reports with reach layout (comparing with the Report Builder) based on the functionalities of the XML publisher. Ive made all necessary steps (first change the output format for that report in concurrent manager from pdf to xml, submit the report to get xml file, which Ive used in Microsoft Word Template Builder to make layout in rtf file, and create data and template in XML Publisher Administrator in eBusiness Suite).
When Ive submitted that report from concurrent manager, after the concurrent manage finished his job I got the warning message.
Also the output file is not generated and in log file there is a message: One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.
Concurrent manager works fine, but there are problem when concurrent manager send the xml output of the report to XML Publisher which have to create pdf layout based on rtf template.
I think there might be a problem with report complexity, while Ive used layout formatting, api calls to eBusiness Suite, parameters, placeholders, attached library etc.
If it is impossible to get new report based on xml publisher template, what is the purpose of xml publisher if it is so limited, while every eBusiness Suite Report is so complex.
I hope there will be a person on this forum with the same problem, otherwise Ill give up at all from XML Publisher, at least until it come a better version of that tool which it seems to be in early development phase and not ready for the market yet.

All of the complex report logic is handled in your Oracle Report (rdf) file.
If your Oracle report is working OK, then this report should be generating XML.
After running your report, go to the View Requests window. Highlight your request, and click the Diagnostics button. Then click the 'View XML' button. If you see XML data, then you should be OK.
When I faced a similar issue, it was because the '1 step' process didnt work for the particular report I was using. The '1 step' process doesn't work for every report. Which report are you using?
If the report is submitted via a form (not the concurrent manager request form), then you probably need to use 2 steps to produce the desired output.

Generate XML output using DBMS_XMLGEN.getxmltype and not from rdf

I have a requirement to display output from a particular table in XL format. Out of all the known possible options, I am planning to use the XML publisher to generate XL output.
For the data source, instead of using the conventional way of creating XML data using rdf,I am planning to use DBMS_XMLGEN.getxmltype pl/sql procedure to generate the XML output. And from the output, call the template to generate the required Excel output.
Now, I am using the following code to generate XML output but am not sure how to proceed from here. I need to first print the XML data in the FND Output file after which I was planning to call the 'XML Report Publisher' (XDOREPPB) program and use the current request id to get the excel output but I am not able to find the way to print the XML data in the output file as:

Also, you do not need to explicitly call XDOREPPB in later versions of XML Publisher. If you set up everything correctly (as described in the presentation above and the link below) the Output Post Processor is called automatically after the XML file is generated successfully.

I'm getting an error message that says iphoto is damaged - delete and reinstall from app store. If I delete iphoto, what will happen to my pictures?

I'm getting an error message when I try to open iPhoto - it says, "iPhoto is damaged and cannot be opened. Delete iPhoto and download it again from the App Store." If I delete and reintall, what will happen to my pictures? I cannot open my pictures from the Finder either to save them/back them up.

Your iPhoto Library is stored separately from your iPhoto application, therefore reinstalling iPhoto as the error message describes, will not affect your iPhoto Library.

HT5500 I can no longer connect to Facebook via Safari, Firefox and Chrome from Admin account, but I can through the Guest account? Any ideas?

For some reason, Facebook is the only site I cannot reach when logged in as Admin. When I switch to Guest then I can access Facebook. I've cleared DNS cache. I've reset Safari, etc. Something is real wierd. Any ideas?

a dmp file is a file created on the workstation that captures system and applicagtion information at the time the error occured. This file can be found in the C:\?????\SAP\SAP Business One\Logdirectory\ folder. Yhis file should be attached to the SAP support request that you create with SAP

Layer Via Copy ??

Help and my apologies for the absurd detail in this question! Recently in a class I saw a Layer (or more usually a Selection) created by an 'unusual' Layer Via Copy method. I've been unable to duplicate what happened.
Here's what I saw - From a background layer (with selection), create a new (blank) layer. Create a SECOND new Layer containing (!!) the 'outline' of the background layer/selection, somehow make the selection/layer appear in this layer and make the blank new layer disappear.

Open an image.
Make a (partial) selection. (Helps you see what will happen.)
Using Layer Menu, Create a new layer (Single Left Click [SLC] on the rectangle in rectangle next to the garbage can).
This is Layer 1.
From Layer 1 (!) CMND + SLC Create A New Layer. (Layer 2)
This new Layer (Layer 2) contains the 'marching ants' outline of the Background Layer.
PROBLEM: How do I make the selection - not just the marching ants - appear in Layer 2?
You can create a solid (black) fill of the selection in Layer 2 with Option + SLC Layers Mask (white circle in gray square in Layers Menu) but though I saw this step, I think it may/might/could have occurred after merging the blank layer 1 with the (at least partially) 'filled' layer 2.
ALSO; fyi, you can - from the background layer (with selection active)
create new layer
return to background layer/selection
cmnd + create new layer
and then if (still on L2), option + new layer mask, you get the same black fill as above but the selection disappears from the background layer.

Yes! I am confused too! But, no, I am positive of the approach as I saw it in use. Can you read a .psd image from an e-mail? (I'm really stupid about most things.) If yes, then I can send each step - otherwise...
Do these steps and watch the result.
Open an image.
Make a selection.
New layer via copy from the Layers Menu Icon (L1 - blank)
ON LAYER 1 !!!
CMND + New Layer Via Copy (creates ...)
L2 and it will have the marching ants outline of/from Background.
(Option+Layer Mask and the selection appears in solid black in the layer mask box)
NOTE: You don't have to create that blank L1 - you can 'just' from Background/selection CMND+New Layer and get the outline copied to L1(in this case). What I saw involved first creating a blank layer as above - really. The next steps, make the selection in L2 appear and the L1 disappear (deleting is cheating...)

Getting error while generating Forms5.0

Dear all,
I m getting an application error while
generating/compiling an .fmb file. And
it is coming out of the form builder.
Is it possible generate an .fmb file
from dos prompt. If so, how do i do that.
If anybody have solution for this, pls let
me know ASAP.
