Error in generating infosets - SQ02

Hello Experts,
I was trying to create an infoset based on multiple tables. I get error "In Unicode programs, the "(" character cannot appear in names, as it does here in the name "TEXT5()".", after I add tables and try to generate the infosets.
I saw many posts on such errors however, those are basically for ABAP programs where we need to uncheck the unicode checkbox in attributes of the program. I am not using any APAB program however, just generating infosets after adding tables...
So, how to quell this error? Any ideas are appreciated.

Hello,
I just created an infoset based on "Direct read of table" and specified the table name "HRHAP" (which is for appraisals).
After creating it, I tried to generate the infoset and it gives this error.
I was not able to generate this infoset even once.
Let me know if you have more questions on this to help me.

Warning/Error on generating Infoset in SQ02

I have a datasource in BI based on an infoset. upon generating the infoset it gives me the following warnings - however it seems like because of these warnings, I am unable to replicate the datasource in D17.
this is the warning that I receive:
Compare field group fields with Data Dictionary
     -Unit field RSDKYF-FIXUNIT will not be filled
         - Affected quantity fields:
                  /BIC/AYSHORPIO00-/BIC/YSHDDMILE
Anyone is aware of whats happening in this case?

In your Infoset definition did you included both the quantity andits unit form same inforprvider ? if not do it and include both in the datasrc.

Dear SD Experts,
I get the Error While Generating the Infoset.
I am actually trying to write a Query.
the tables i have inserted are VBAK, VBAP, VBEP, LIKP, LIPS
below is the List.
1)Differences in field TEXT_VBAP_CHARG
2)Differences in field TEXT_VBEP_ETENR
3)Differences in field TEXT_VBEP_ETENE

Hi ,
From what you are saying, i am guessing there could be difference in field types used and in dictionary.
Try this.
1.Go to SQ02
2.Change query area (Standard / Global) in Environment --> Query areas depending on where your infoset is.
3. Select your Infoset.
4. Goto --> More functions --> Check and generate / consistency check --> Adjust.
or Try this.
1. Select your infoset.
2. Change
3. Goto --> Global properties --> see if "no automatic text recognition" is checked in options tab.
If you still having problems, give me more detail on how have you joined tables, have you used any extra fields, or have you done any coding in Infoset, I may be able to help you.

InfoSet Query: Syntax Error while generating the program.

I have a Query in CRM system which contains an Infoset based on LDB.
The InfoSet Query throws up a Syntax error while generating the program.
So, we are not able to change the Infoset using the Infoset Query through SQ01.
The error is as follows:-
Syntax error in program "AQZZ==/SAPQUERY/CRM_ACTMON1 ".

There is an error in your query, specifically in the definition of CRMT_REPORT_LOCATORLIST. In the short dump (transaction ST22) you will see more details and the exact location of an error if you just scroll down.
I can't tell more because this problem is specific to your system, to which I have no access. Read the whole dump and look at all the objects mentioned there.

Error while uploading using SQ02

Hi,
When we try to upload infoset & query using SQ02 tcode we get the following error:
""F Error when generating transport dataset""
We were able to download the same using SQ02,but while upload we get an error.
Please suggest an alternative,as we have checked the user group if it exists in the system & using same user group during upload & download.

Error when generating the report in Production Server

Hi,
I have created one infoset query in Development server of my client. It is working fine there. I had transported the request containg this query to Production server. But whenever I am trying to generate report using this query in Production server it is giving an error message
"Error when generating the report".
I am not getting what 's problem.

Samriddhi,
Genarally its not suggested to transport Queries. Should be able to create Queries directly Production. There might be diferences between your Development and Production versions.

Hi All,
I am facing a peculiar problem while executing an infoset query.I have created 2 customized fields Compa-ratio and PIR in infotype 0008 in an infoset.I have coded in these additional fields.
When I execute a query using 1 of these customized fields the report is generated correctly.But when I put both the fields in the output the report shows an error "Error when generating the report (see long text)". The message# associated with this errAQ_AD_HOC221.
I have also checked the data types and the references. Nothing seems to be wrong here.
Does anybody has any clue about this ?

Hi Bernd,
I had a look at those notes. But the information provided did'nt prove to be helpful. I found out the problem. I was using the same local variable for both the fields in their code. This generated the error. This error is a very generic one and does'nt help in finding out what exactly is the problem.
I changed the other local variable and it started working. When I was using the same variable that time I did'nt forget to clear the values but the query still generated the error.

INFOSET - SQ02 - WAERS FIELDS

I generated a infoset using table COSP, when I click in generate infoset, sap shows this warning message:
Compare field group fields with Data Dictionary
Currency field CCCUR-WAERS will not be filled
Currency field TKA01-WAERS will not be filled
How can I fix the value for fields CCCUR-WAERS and TKA01-WAERS in my query ? when I execute the query this dont show the correct values for some fields because waers field.

values in controlling area currency aren't displayed correctly (1000 COP is displayed like 10 COP ).... values in object currency are wrong too, but values in document currency are correct because document currency field is available for parameters.
I'm working in document currency, but I would like to know why SQ00 doesn't take in account controlling area currency and object currency ... ¿it is an error ? ¿there are some way to fix it?

Download / Upload queries gives "Error when generating transport dataset"

Hi!
I need to transfer some queries from one system to other.
Systems are not connected with each other, so no TRs are available!
I am doing like this:
- running program RSAQR3TR in "old" system
- downloading a query as TXT file into my local PC
- running program RSAQR3TR in "new" system
- uploading TXT file into "new" system and get a message - "Error when generating transport dataset"
Any ideas?

Transporting a query
Transporting a query means only the query itself is transported.
Importing a query is possible only if a corresponding user group (see below) and a corresponding InfoSet exist in the target client and if the InfoSet is assigned to the user group. To demonstrate the effect of the import options, suppose that the query has the name QU and belongs to the user group BQ in the source client.
The import option REPLACE overwrites the query QU of the user group BQ in the target client if the user group exists.
The import option GROUP=ug overwrites the query QU of the user group UG in the target client if the user group exists. In this case, the query is explicitly assigned to a user group in the target client. This target user group may be differnet from the user group in the source client.

Error while reading Infoset data

Hi,
I have installed the BI 7.0 content for E-recruiting. I have activated
the infosets 0ERC_IS01, 0ERC_IS02, 0ERC_IS03, 0ERC_IS04. All the
corresponding underlying objects are active and loaded. When I try to
display the data for IS02, 03, 04, I get the below error.::
1. SQL0104N An unexpected token """" was found
following ""T00003"."OBJVERS" =". Expected tokens may
include: "<space>". SQLSTATE=42601
2. Error when generating the SQL statement
3. Error reading the data of InfoProvider 0ERC_IS02.
I am able to display the data for IS01 without any problem. I am on SAPKW70017.
Kindly suggest how to proceed further.

Hi,
Yes I have check all the underlaying objects are active and loaded.
IS01 is made of ODS - 0ERC_DS01 and Info object 0REQUI. ODS is time independent and Info object is time dependent. This combination is working very fine.
Now IS02 is made of info objects - 0CDCY, 0CANDIDATE, 0REQUI. All these objects are time dependent. Will time dependent objects require some other setting? how these are BIcontent objects.
Another observation is that if I create infosets combining ODS - 0ERC_DS01and any one info object of IS02, it is working fine. But ODS with more than one info object is not working.

How many cost centres are you putting in the role? Do you have cost centre set as an org level?
From your User Name I assume that you are at the BBC...Do you still use a program to populate the cost centres in the role based on the cost centre group names? If so it is possible that you are trying to put too many cost centres in the field and the the profile will not generate because of this (we had it back in 2001 when I was working there).
Do you have the technical error message details?

I am facing the below error while generating the report in test environment while the same report is working fine on Prod environment.

Actually the error is coming for the below logics:
COUNT(DISTINCT RMA.RMA)/COUNT(DISTINCT User."User Name")
"RMA Fact"."Module Backlog"/COUNT(DISTINCT User."User Name")
Can anyone please tell if I need to make any configuration changes as the same logic works perfectly fine on production but not on test.
