Error in Group Asset Creation

When Iam trying to create Group Asset, it's giving below mentioned warning message. Is that only one depreciation area will be assigned in one complete client?
I tried to fix through this navigation but couldn't able to fix it ? Please let me know.
Company code 1000: Group asset 3005 manages dep. area 20
Message no. AC715
Diagnosis
Company code 1000: Group asset 3005 still manages depreciation area 20. For this reason, you cannot delete the group asset indicator.
System Response
The data is not saved.
Procedure
There are two options:
1. Set the indicator for managing group assets.
2. Deactivate depreciation area 20 in group asset 3005 and in all others that manage this depreciation area ( Change group asset: master data). Then you can delete the indicator for managing group assets in depreciation area 20.

Kindly check whether the message is triggered during the creation of group asset ( in Tcode: AS21) , further it is an information message not a warning message , i think during configuration of depreciation ares as group asset in Tcode: OAYM while removing the check box for depreciatiuon area 20 and saving the configuartion the information occurs . since the a group asset has been cretaed using the dep area 20 hence it is necessary to deactivated the dep area in the group asset mentioned and then remove the group asset indicator.

My environment: SCCM 2012 SP1, CAS + 1 Primary site works exellent - everything replicated and works fine.
I install one more primary site KP0. At first sync i have an error at replication group "Asset Intelligence Knowledge Base", and link state become failed. (by the way, i DONT use asset intelligence and have no such role on CAS)

1. Look at "replication link analyzer" - nothing usefull but

Then try to change 99 error status to 7 -> replication starts and fall to error again
All this time primary site KP0 is in maintainence mode... any ideas?

I found the issue with my site was because the site I added into the Hierarchy didn't have the replication link properties site data for distributed views set. Enabling these and running the link analyser again. After a little time everything
showed up green for me.

Error occurs during Asset Master Record Creation.

Hello SAP Gurus,
The error occurs during asset master record creation.
Our fiscal year variant is Z6 (July to June). The asset was acquired in June 15 (previous fiscal year) but was only set up on July 30 (this fiscal year) . When we put the depreciation start date as 15 June the error appeared. While saving the Asset master we are getting below error.
We tried the same with Post Capitalization of Asset (ABNAN) there also we are getting same error.
ERROR: - as below

Maintain the assignment of the periods for the period control entered.

If the period control you entered is a standard period control, you can assign the periods automatically.Proceed

have you generated the period controls properly? If not, the error is raised correctly by the system.
To generate period controls go to:
IMG Asset Accounting -> Depreciation -> Valuation Methods -> Period Control -> Generate Period Controls / or you can use OA84

Asset Creation Event Error

Hi All
I have a requirement to start a workflow when an asset is created. I am using BUS1022. I have created and activated the linkage.
The entry in SWED exists for change doc: ANLA and the table ANLA
I have created a similar entry in SWEC for the event CREATED.
When i create an asset, the event does get triggered but there is an error., In SWEL it shows up as
Check FM with exception.
Receiver type :TS00001003
Message: Element FLAG_ANLAGE_BEARB is not available in the container
Check FM: AWFC_CHECK_ASSET_INCOMPLETE
Now I Have created the above mentioned element in my workflow and passed it the values in binding.
Where do i have to define this parameter? It is required in the parameters of the event---.

I am using other workflows like PR, PO, SO and too many WF templates, for those workflows also the event trace is not getting. But the workflows are getting triggered with out any problem.
Steps for event trace is SWELS for switch on the event trace and then executing the transaction (AS01) then after I am checking the event trace by using SWEL.
Can you pls advise the proper way for getting event trace, if I am not using the proper way.
Can any body explain the process for Asset creation.
Is there any equipment needs to be created before of after of Asset creation. I thougt, depends on this the CREATED event get triggers.

follow these steps,
1. copy chart of dep: t.code : fc08
2. delete depriciatin areas
3. assign to company code; oaob
4.specify account determination, create screen layout rules
5.define number ranges; as08
6.define asset class ; oaoa
here you have to give no ranges, account determination for all asset classes.
7. determinine depriciation areas in asset classess; oayz
now you have one idea about your asset configuration. now before further, create your gl accounts for each asset depriciation, gl for asset loss, gl for asset profit on sales.
8. now you have to assign accounts for postings; a090
goto each account determinatin and assgin relavent gl accounts in all cloums
9. specify document type for posting depriciation
10. specify rounding figures of net asst book value/depriciation; oayo
11. define screen layouit for asset master data, depriciation areas, define base methods, multilevel methods etc.,
12.you have to maintain period control methods for dep run and maintain depriciation keys
13. now you should have one asset, so create one asset maser record; t.code as01, post the purchase transation by f-90
14. now you have to run the depriciation by t.code AFAB
GOTHROUGH AL THESE SETTINGS
before that decide abut your asset classes, create gl a/cs and then start from the first step,

I have researched your issue and note 1063792 should resolve it. The
SAP_APPL that it is included in is SAPKH60011. I recommend you to upgrade to the latest support package available to avoid eventual errors.
For program errors you should open a support ticket in the SAP Service Market place.

Error while creatiing asset under AS01

Hello Sap experts,
Our client is facing an issue when the user is creating asset under t.code AS01 that u2018you can use asset class 34100 for capital investment measures onlyu2019
When we checked asset class 34100, there was tick mark on radio button u2018Investment Measureu2019 & we remove it & tick on radio button u2018No AUC or summary management of AUCu2019 & save it & the error remove
We have provided this solution to user but we are not sure that in future this change will not create any problem to the user
Even we also checked that if we tick on radio button u2018Line item Settlementu2019 instead of u2018No AUC or summary management of AUCu2019 then also that error was not coming
We please suggest which is the correct solution of this issue.

Hi Deepak,
The Asset Creation is not possible with the AS01 for the AUC Assets as because your client is using the investment management for this specified requirement.
We can create the AUC with the WBS element with the transaction CJ20N
For that you have to create a project and wbs element with the required investment profile related to Assets like land buildings etc (what ever it may be) then only you will be able to create AUC Asset.

Group Asset Screen Layout disabled fields

Hi All,
We have created asset masters with Book and Tax depreciation, For tax depreciation we are assigning Group asset. Issue is while doing take over value with t- Code AS92, system should propose the field of APC Value and Accumulated Depreciation Value but both the fields are proposing only for Book Depreciation
In case of tax depreciation APC value is editable and Accumulated Dep value is disabled, requirement is we need to enter both the values for tax dep along with group asset assignment.
This is happening only when we are assigning group asset while creation of asset master. if you donu2019t assign group asset to the asset master then system is allowing us to enter both values in both the depreciation area.
I have checked necessary configuration regarding screen layout and not found any solution.
Kindly help in this regard.

Assignment of Group Asset to an already existing Asset

We have a Legacy created Assets which already have value. These Assets were created two year ago. At that time we have not assigned any Group Asset to them. Now in the current year we want to assign group asset to these asset. My questions are:
1. Is it possible to do so.......in the current year....?
2. If yes, how the value of the Asset would flow & what value would flow, balance as on the date of creation of group asset?

The T code to upload the group asset values is AS82...
Since your takeover date is 2 years old, I dont know if you will be allowed to enter them now.... Go to AS82 and see if it helps

Group asset in asset masters

Dear all
For assets automatically created under asset class AUC,through Project system module,Group asset is not getting attached .
So while carrying out year end closing system is throwing an error "Asset is incomplete".Should i change the asset masters, i mean add group asset for these assets.is there any mass change option available?

Please create an LSMW for group asset maintenance.
Steps
1 please find the assets where group assets are missing.For this purpose please check at table leve ANLB.
2 once you find the assets please create an LSMW for T code AS02 and Update group asset field.
3 Once the updation is over please do the year end process.

AS81 Legacy group asset

Hi Experts,
Now we are implementing group asset concept in the implementation. So, when ever I am giving takeover values in to legacy group asset AS81, I am getting higher NBV. suppose the Acquisition value is 50000
and Acc ord depn is 10000 and I am getting 60,000 NBV
actualy it should be 40,000.
In takeover values what are the values Can I enter both acquisition value and acc depn or Only acquisition value

Have you message Message AY252 - Current fiscal year XXXX has to be after transfer date ZZ/YY/XXXX?
If you enter the date from the error message ZZ/YY/XXXX is should work.
You will have to ensure that the
Closed Year is in line with Transfer date and
Current Fiscal Year is later than Transfer date.
Following Parameters are relevant:
T093B-ABGJA = Closed Year
T093C-DATUM = Transfer date
T093C-LGJAN = Current Fiscal Year

Plant & business area validation in asset creation

Dear All,
Am working in a plant & business area validation which will fire the error msg when wrong plant is assigned at time of asset creation. Issue is for a company we have 19 business area and each business area assigned to various plant. In order to avoid the individual step for each business area, have merged two or more business area in pre-requiste section and correspondingly plant had been validated in check section. But when am inserting two check conditions, its not even working as per the logic, For ex :
Pre-Requiste :
( ANLA-BUKRS = '1300' AND ANLZ-GSBER = '1101' ) AND (
ANLA-BUKRS = '1300' AND ANLZ-GSBER = '1102' )
Check :
( ANLZ-WERKS = '1307' OR ANLZ-WERKS = '1308' OR ANLZ-WERKS = '1309' OR ANLZ-WERKS = '1304' ) AND
( ANLZ-WERKS = '1305' OR ANLZ-WERKS = '1306' ANLZ-WERKS = '1344' )
For the above condition system not validating as per business area since if we entering business area 1101 and entering the plant which related to 1102 business area, system not throwing the error msg where as if we put a single condition in a step its working fine.
Kindly suggest me how to overcome this by avoiding individual step creation for each business area.

I have chnaged my validation in the following way as follows,
Pre-requiste :
Co code=XXXX
Check:
Business area = XXXX AND Plant = XXXX.
This condition is working fne for one business area, where as if i include more than one business area in the check section system not validating the condition, in a step its validating only one condition. Since 21 business area available for a co code its not feasible to create individual step.
Kindly suggest me is there any other alternative way to overcome this.
