Error in grouping

Hello sir,
I am having issue:
The followings are the departments in organization:
E-gov
Embedded
NLP
These departments are having projects.
Resources for these projects are
Grant in aid
Sponsored projects
Other sponsored Projects
Academic projects
Business Projects
In this case we need reports Department wise and Resources wise. For example the E-gov departmentu2019s expense and revenue and similarly report for grant-in-aid etc.
If we are considering all the departments as cost center group,then we can get report easily for department.
But how can we get reports for the resources of projects.
Like all the department ca have sponsored  & Business projects, similarly others.
So how can we group them.
Thnaks.

Hi,
Define several WBS for every project. The, while you post your costs you can post it both to cost centre and to WBS. In this way, it will be possible to build a report, which will show the costs in two dimensions. The other way, which is much less 'elegant', will be obviously defining separate cost centre for every project under every department and groupping them accordingly.

Eli

  • Crystal Report error - "the group section cannot be printed..."

    Hello to everyone.
    I have a CR report based on a database view.
    Everything is ok when i run the report in the CR designer but choosing the option to preview the report or run it from the SAP Business One (8.81 PL 08) i get an error:
    "the group section cannot be printed because its condition field is nonexistent or invalid. Format the section to choose another condition field. Error in file "the Report name".rpt. Invalid group condition".
    i must say that this happens in all my reports where i have group data. Also i must say that all those reports were ok some days before...
    Is there a way for me to know what field is it refering to?
    I have verified the DB and it is pointing correctly and the also the View returns data.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Gordon,
    thanks for your response. the reports were working fine until 8.81 PL05
    We have upgraded the customer from PL05 - > PL08 a week ago.
    Do you think that maybe this is the problem?

  • PCUI error: Field group could not be read completely

    Hello,
    I am trying to remove some fields from the Sales Data tab in the Sales Orders application CRMD_BUS2000115. I have changed field groups before, noth in CRM 4.0 and CRM 5.0, but in this case, I always get this error.
    By going into debugging mode (tracelevel set to 2222) I determined the main field group to be SLO_SALES, with lots of smaller reference groups below. Whenever I change one of the reference groups and try to generate the layout of SLO_SALES I get the error "Field group could not be read completely". I even reverted all changes by emptying all the entries from the reference groups so that my c-tables are empty, but I still get the error. All field groups below this one yield the error "No field group selected in blueprint table", so I cannot build those either.
    Has anybody else tried to change the contents of that application in that tab?
    Regards
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
    Everytime you do changes in the reference group the entries in table 'CRMC_FIELDGRP' changes. So you will have to go to this table check entries for the main feild group 'SLO_SALES' in your case and then change entries for this feildgroup in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C. The idea ia that the data should be consistent/same in both the places.
    Hope this helps you.

    Hetal.

    for example:i created a lov with empno.empname.when i give the value 1 in runtime it should invoke LOV WITH related records,if value is not found then i will give some char like S in search field in LOV itself,then it should give related records of starting with S.
    please tell the steps clearly.
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
    Do you have a record group with 'group_emp' name under record groups objects. This built in can not delete record groups created at design time(see forms online help 'delete_group').
    Just try renaming your group_name varchar2(10) :='group_emp' and see

  • SAP Open Enrollment Error : Age group could not be determined

    Hi Gurus,
    We have been trying to configure Open Enrollment and when I try to go in the backend using HRBEN0001, it lists all the eligible plans and lets you complete the Open enrolllment, however in the Error List one error pops up saying "Age Group Cannot be determined". I have a spouse listed in the system, but his birthday has been entered so it should be able to calculate the age group without any issues.
    When we login to the portal and try to click on the Open Enrollment tab, no plans show up but only the error "Age Group cannot be determined" shows up.
    We have configured three variants for Voluntary Life and Spouse Life for the age groups 1-69, 70-74 and 75+. Could this be the reason of the error?
    Has anyone encountered this error before? and if yes, can you please let me know how to resolve this?
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Error: FRM-41076: Error populating Group

    hi frs,
    i have a created a record group with static values.
    while populating the group getting error like
    FRM-41076: Error populating Group
    how to solve it help pls.
    Regards
    Rajesh

    Rajesh,
    You stated you have a static record group (RG). I believe your error is caused by the POPULATE_GROUP() call because the RG is already populated with your static values - there is no need to re-populate the RG. Just call POPULATE_LIST(). You only need to call POPULATE_GROUP() if you are dynamically populating the values in the RG.
    Also, how many columns are in your (RG)? To populate a List from a RG - the RG must have 2 columns (label and value) and only two columns. If you only have one column in the RG or if you have more than 2 columns in the RG the POPULATE_LIST will fail. Is your code failing when you call POPULATE_GROUP() or is it failing at POPULATE_LIST()?
    Hope this helps.

  • Getting Error : Material groups remove duplicates

    Hi,
         User created a Shopping cart,The approval mail did not go to the intended recepient.When i looked into tcode SWI6  the approval is struck with the error "Material groups remove duplicates". The product category against which the shopping cart is raised exists in tcode  comm_ Hierarchy.
    Pls suggest.
    Thanks
    Rakesh.

    I think the mappings and all would be correct. Here is what Kevin meant:
    - Let's assume the AD user account is a part of GroupA, GroupB and GroupC
    - Now on Change Organization completion if you invoke Remove user from Group then the adapter/process task has no way to know that which 3 of those groups has to be removed (or all 3 for your case)
    - Alternatively if you use API's to remove the group then this task would be invoked by the original OIM process/triggers and so the actual value would be known to adapter/process task.

    2. When reconciliing, I am getting blank data into the process form (groups) - Event shows the group data. (Groups lookup have relavant group info).
         The number of blanks are equal to the number of groups reconciled.
    Any clues on these will help.
    Thanks
    Vicky

    Hi,
    One more behaviour I have noticed, I have noticed only for the users with group name starting with  "+", provisioning and reconciliation are failing.
    The special character "+" is giving the problem.
    Did anyone have faced this kind of behaviour.
    Thanks
    Vicky

  • Dataytpe mismatch error in GROUP BY Clause

    I have a function(undergoing testing) which returns column values separated by comma. Since this function returns a huge number of values (track_id) which a varchar2 type can't store i've made the return type to be CLOB.
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION get_shp_no_list
    p_shp_nbr IN VARCHAR2
    ) RETURN clob
    AS
      type shp_list_type is table of shp_trkg_dtl.track_ID%type;
      v_shp shp_list_type;
      v_ship_list  CLOB;
    BEGIN
         -- get all track_ids for the selected shp_nbr
         SELECT DISTINCT (track_id )
         BULK COLLECT INTO v_shp
         FROM shp_trkg_dtl
         WHERE shp_id = p_shp_nbr
         ORDER BY track_ID;
         FOR i IN v_shp.FIRST .. v_shp.LAST LOOP
             IF v_ship_list IS NULL THEN
                v_ship_list := v_shp(i);
             ELSE
                v_ship_list := v_ship_list || ',' || v_shp(i);
             END IF;
         END LOOP;

        RETURN NULL;
    END get_shp_no_list;

    Taken from the 10.2 manual:
    Restrictions on the GROUP BY Clause:
    This clause is subject to the following restrictions:
    You cannot specify LOB columns, nested tables, or varrays as part of expr.
    The expressions can be of any form except scalar subquery expressions.
    If the group_by_clause references any object type columns, then the query will not be parallelized.

  • Error  "Ledger group 0L may not be used" - CO15

    Dear guru,
    When I want to save Production Order Confirmation via CO15, there is an error message :
    Ledger group 0L may not be used
    Message no. FAGL_LEDGER_CUST102
    Diagnosis
    Ledger group &1 is assigned to another application.
    FYI, when I check tabel T881 (Ledger Master), there are two leading ledger : 0L and OL. It's very strange.
    As far as I know, in standard SAP there is only one leading ledger, it is 0L.
    I check in customizing (Ledger > Define Ledgers for General Ledger Accounting), there is only one ledger: OL (as leading ledger), so I untick Leading Ledger indicator for Ledger 0L directly on table T881, but the error message still appear.
    How to solve this?
    Thanks before

    Hi Hanny Ali,
    The message F5 670 is processed if there is a problem in account determination. The message means the account determination in the SD billing document does not work probably. This could also be caused by a wrong or incomplete customizing.
    Please find note 146879 to check the customizing on this issue. From past messages, this problem is usually caused by a missing or incorrect customizing for the G/L account.
    Please note that if it's a case of a cancellation document the field VBRK-SFAKN is filled. When this is filled the system does not carry out account determination. In debug you can remove this entry and the account determination will be revoked. This would resolve the issue.
    Could you please review customizing setting VKOA if all the relevant information are being maintain correctly?
    Please also review the notes:
    -> 0216974 Error F5670 during release to accounting
    -> 0113512 VF051 "Doc. & saved (error in accnt determination)
    -> 1325446 SDBONT06: G/L accounts of rebate conditions are
    I hope this answer your issue with error F5 670.

  • Web Dynpro Error: Service Group

    Hi Guys,
    I'm created a web dynpro application for consuming web service from service registry. To do so I also creates the Service group SOA_WS_EXECUTION_DEST and assigned it to component in SR. I also assigned the Provider system in it. Still I am getting the same Error.
    Please let me the solution of this error if you had encountered it before...
    com.sap.esi.esp.lib.mm.config.exceptions.TechnicalException: Failed to create Logical Port for Service Reference with id [ValidatePassportDetailsQueryResponse_In_SOA_WS_EXECUTION_DEST_BASIC]. Reason for the failure is that Neither Authentication Method [None], nor [SAP Logon Ticket] are allowed in the related Communication Profile. Such Authentication Method is needed as the Authenticaton Profile is [businessOrTechnicalUser] and no User Account is assigned, so the Authenticaton Profile is considered to be noAuthentication or businessUserRelated Communication Profile is [SOAProfile 3] and it allows Authentication Method(s) [User Name/Password (Basic)]

    imho this question rather related to the SOA forum. I suggest you to post this question there.
