Error in installing workflow
i installed complete 9ias, and then trying to install workflow, by specifing infrastructure_home(as oracle home), while installing workflow, i am getting the following exception,
"unable to find product oracle.swd.jre(1.1.6, 1.1.7.27) in oracle inventary"
Please suggest me.

Hi,
Make sure your default Oracle Home is 10g one. You can check that by running sqlplus in command promot and should show you the 10g version.

Files\Windows Fabric\Bin. They were pointing to older FQDN under following node:

</NodeList>
These files won't let you edit directly in notepad so you will need to make a copy of these files (just in case). Open up the notepad as "Run As Administrator". Drag these files to the notepad. After you are done editing, save these as original
names but make sure that the extension is .xml
You will also need to do IISReset

Errors when installing Workflow Manager
I am trying to install WF Manager, but with no success.
On the same machine, I have installed SQL Server 2014, SharePoint 2013 with SP1 and WF Manager.
I installed WF manager (account that runs WF manager is sp farm admin) and registered with command
Register-SPWorkflowService -SPSite "http://dev/" -WorkflowHostUri "http://localhost:12291" -AllowOAuthHttp
In Central Admin, when I click on "Workflow Service Application Proxy ", I get message that WF is connected. Backend service is running. In SP Designer, I can create 2013 Workflow and publish it, but that WF does not work, it break instantly.
In SP logs, I get this error when I try to activate feature that contains workflow (solution that contains WF created in Visual Studio):

So, I deleted WF manager and service bus and reinstalled it, but with no luck. Now backedn service is not working, and I can't start it, getting this error:

I got an Error while installing the workflow builder
the error was while setting the environment variable "PATH"
can't set the environment variable value as it's more than 1023
i made ignore to this error and continue the setup
is that error may affect the workflwo builder to run or it dosen't affect it

I'm coming across the following error while installing Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:

Error when running workflow form list item - workflow manager SharePoint 2013
I am getting the following error in the workflow services log when I tried to run a SPD 2013 workflow from as list item. The workflow page comes up with an "An unexpected error has occurred"
page when opened:

Can't find anything on google.
Edit: Ok, when I look at the error, it is saying the the "GetInstances" stored procedure in the WFInstanceManagementDB database does not have a parameter named "@OtherWorkflowStatus".
For laughs, I added the parameter (which wasn't in there). Now I get the error:
Procedure or function 'GetInstances' expects parameter '@OtherWorkflowStatus', which was not supplied
It seems like there is something not right about my installation. Previously, I couldn't get the workflow backend service to run because there were config values missing from the workflow manager database. At the time I tried to uninstall/reinstall
WFM to no avail. I eventually had to manually add the values to get it to work. Something is not right about the WFM install/config process.Here is what I had to do to get it working:
Leave the WFM (Workflow Manager) farm using the WFM config tool
Uninstall WFM, Service Bus, and the CU's from control panel
Uninstall Workflow Manager Client if it exists in the control panel, it didn't in mine
Delete the following databases in SQL Server:
SbGatewayDatabase
SbManagementDB
SBMessageContainer01
WFInstanceManagementDB
WFManagementDB
WFResourceManagementDB
Delete the workflow proxy service in Central Admin (important)
Application Management > Manage Service Applications
Highlight (select) the Workflow Service Application Proxy service (don’t click the hyperlink)
Select “Delete” from the ribbon.
Restart the server
Reinstall
Enable the workflow proxy service in CA for the web app, the 2013 workflow option will not show up in SPD unless you do this.
Application Management > Manage Web Applications
Select your web app
Select “Service Connections” from the ribbon
Check the Workflow Service Application Proxy item and click “OK” -
How Do You Fix A 205 error on Install?
I keep getting a 205 error (see this) when trying to run the creative cloud installer.
The trouble shooting is next to useless in telling me the cause and how to fix it - as its gibberish to me.

Install of Products: FAILUREI am pretty sure that DSC requires WFM. If I am right then WFM is in use and cannot be replaced unless you specify another logfile location. Look at the DSC and see how to specify a new log location that can be used for the install.
If the MSU is built correctly then you will require a reboot to update the install.
Try just doing WFM alone until you work it out.
I also recommend posting in the Management forum for any other issues that might be known.

DSC is a work in progress so many things have to be worked out as you need them. Be sure to get the latest kits. I think we are at Wave 9 now.

But i believe the problem is with either the product name or product id, since it installs three products on one invoke, i dont know which product id we need to give. i tried with all the above 3 product ids. Its not working.
I think by default DSC powershell runs under system account "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". -
Error loading updater workflow elements 9
Can anyone help, i have elements 9, and have tried to install the camera raw update, however when i try the install i get a message box saying.... error loading updater workflow..... this is now driving me insane..... i have dowladed the latest downlad manager and have also tried some older updates but still end up with the same message. i have the latest updated version of elements but no raw plugin in the plugin list and when i press update it says version is the latest. i have tried to manually download the plugins with no luck. i am running windows vista, please help as the software is no use if i cant open the raw files.
Try again. The read-me instructions are not very clear. After you extract files from the zip folder double click on the patch installer application and allow access if prompted.
The Adobe Application Manager should open automatically and complete the installation.

Toad Error after installed Oracle Work Flow Builder

I have using Toad 9.6.1 version. I installed newliy Oracle Work Flow Bulider 10g. After installed when i trying to open Toad it is giving Access Vioalation Error.
Please advice what may be the reason and how to correct it.

Error msg in workflow after patching to 11.1.2.1.600
Hi!
We have recently patched to 11.1.2.1.600 for our Planning solution and we get an error msg in workflow.
If the 'Planning Unit Hierarchy' is setup as 'Free form' we get an error message if the users open 'Manage Approvals', select 'Details' for a Planning Unit and then 'Change status'. The error message is 'There is no valid action that can be performed on the selected Planning Units'. If the 'Planning Unit Hierarchy' is set up as 'Bottom up' it works fine.
Have anyone else experienced this behavior in the 11.1.2.1.600-patch? Is there a workaround?
An SR is also raised towards Oracle, so hopefully we get an answer from them soon.

MartinWe're having this issue after installing the 11.1.2.1.600 patch over .102 as well (this didn't come up as known issue), and the workaround of "use Bottom Up" doesn't work for us, because we want multiple planners in an organizational division to be able to write to the same PU at the same time. You can't do that with Bottom Up, because only one person can have control at a time.
So... the .601 patch still doesn't exist, and uninstalling the .600 patch didn't fix the issue. Support basically says, "it's a bug, use the workaround".
So frustrating! -

We have a single server farm SP 2013 where workflow was working as expected but its broken now , Not sure
what caused this. Workflow manager is installed alongside Service Bus. Workflow Manager client is installed on the same SP server.
We are able to create and publish the workflows from SP Designer without errors but when we start the workflow from SharePoint list we get an error " Sorry something went wrong". We have tried creating new workflows but the same problem.

As I understand, you encountered the issue when you published a workflow on SharePoint 2013 workflow platform.
I wonder does it work well before when using 2013 workflow platform? If it works before, did you install any updates or change the configuration to the workflow related settings?
If this is the first time after you installed workflow manager 2013, then I’d recommend you try re-registering workflow service per the link below and post the result:

Like oracle.j2ee.tools.deploy.DbOc4jDeploy , there should be abother utility to undeploy, I don't remeber right now, to undeply the deplyed applications.
One more ugly alternative is that :
remove oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_Workflow_Component_Container/application-deployments/WFMLRSVCApp/dta-sources.xml file manually. follow same for other components in oc4j/j2ee/OC4J_Workflow_Component_Container/application-deployments/ folder
