thanks & regardsHi
Open the j2ee engine web page and go to web service navigator --
http://<servername>:<port>/wsnavigator.
there should be a ADS webservice there. you should be able to execute it successfully. if it is not present then it means ADS service is not installed on your server. -

Hopefully these messages will ring a bell and some of you have a solution for this problem.
Manny thanx in advance
Jasper BrugmanHi Jasper,
The Adobe credential on your NetWeaver seems to be expired or not applied.
Go to the quick guide : https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b22d4e44-0e01-0010-ffa4-fe9c59939e5e
On page 33-34 , it explains you how to applied again the adobe credentials.

windows XP professional SP2
windows 2000 SP4
all clients have ACF installed from xACF.exe

Adobe Reader 6.0.2
IE 6.0 (all ActiveX options enabled)
get the same error on all clients
from Microsoft script debugger
CSF.api.acf.notifyHooked("EGPD.InteractiveView.InteractiveForm2")
are there different versions of xACF.exe out there
i know the xACF_11.exe will not work with SR1 SP9If you are at a point in your development cycle where it is feasible, I recommend that you update to SP11. There were several issues that you may come across later in your testing that were resolved with sp10 and sp11. (I would have to dig through our list of bugs/fixes if you would like specifics.)Also, with the 7.0.0 client, the client interaction with IE is much more stable. We had many issues with Reader 6.0.2. 6.0.3 seemed to correct some, but not all. (IE would abnormally terminate when submitting forms or when cancelling forms).
We have not worked with SP9 since before the beginning of the year. We implemented SP10 in late December/early January, and saw improvement. We upgraded to sp11 in March (actually had an early version to test with prior to that) and have seen much improvement in the behavior of the client pieces as well as some server side issues with both 6.0.3 clients and especially with 7.0.0 clients. (I understand that your issues now appear to be compatibility between client and ads server, so they may or may not be resolved this way). We are currently running SP11 (with additional note 766191 for the latest xacf files), Reader 7.0.0 and 7.0.1, IE 6 on a combination of XP SP1/SP2 and win2k clients. The added bonus is that the client dll's are automatically downloaded at runtime as of SP10. (and are signed controls, so you can tighten up your browser security). This is a recommedation from a fellow tester, Matthias is the ultimate guru. -
Error executing Interactive Form
I have an issue when I execute a WD that has an Adobe Document.
<br><br>
In the first place, the WD works properly in a PRD environment (in a primary and secondary instances). I made some changes to it (added another PDF, similar to the prior one) and this new version was deployed in PRD. The result was that when WD was executed, it works well on the first instance, but when you try the second instance it shows the following error:
<br><br>
I don't understand what could be happening. the server (both instances) posses the same configuration, they both work with the older WD version, but the secondary instance won't work with the new one.
<br><br>
There's something else that might be important; when the new version is deployed, ANOTHER WD (from a different project) that also uses Adobe Forms starts showing the same error (and this new application wasn't even modified). If you deploy the older version once more, everything goes back to normal without further errors.
<br><br>
Thank you!

No such method error when launching the Interactive form
Hi Experts,
I have developed a simeple Java Webdynpro application and added an Interactive form without any controls in it. Created the context with one value node and a binary value attribute.
I have assigned value node to datasource and binary attribute to pdfSource. When I launch the application I am getting the following no such method error.
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/uielib/adobe/api/IWDInteractiveForm.setTemplateSource(Ljava/lang/String;)V
The currently executed application, or one of the components it depends on, has been compiled against class file versions that are different from the ones that are available at runtime.
If the exception message indicates, that the modified class is part of the Web Dynpro Runtime (package com.sap.tc.webdynpro.*) then the running Web Dynpro Runtime is of a version that is not compatible with the Web Dynpro Designtime (Developer Studio or Component Build Server) which has been used to build + compile the application.
My NWDS is of Version 7.0.06
and J2EE Engine is of Version 6.40.
any guess why I am getting this error.
Thanks
Chinna.Issue solved. Compatablility issue NWDS 2.0 Version should use for NW 2004.

are you sure you have added the Administrator user to the ADSCaller Security role?
Visual Admin -> Server node -> Services -> Security Provider -> com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices*AdobeDocumentServicesAssembly.jar

The concept what we have observed is When you click on Submit the values were sent to GP. There GP framework takes care of all these. After that when you try to login to Portal and click on GP Inbox and try to open the application, what ever the data that is sent previously will be retrieved.
Due to some reasons like Delegation and other conecpts where GP will not fit we have scrapped GP and got back to workflow. There we have used the concept of Portal Webservice inorder to send the data to R/3 by clicking on Submit button.
We have successfully implemented the Adobe Forms Offline Scenario using Portal Webservice. -
Error in updating Interactive form data
Hi Friends,
I have developed an interactive form using webdynpro ABAP, in the first view I have designed selection criteria based on the selection I am populating the table in second view. Few are editable fields and few are readonly fields.
Here I got the problem after editing the fields when I am trying to save the form it throwing an error that couldnu2019t find attribute But when I am trying to save the form without modifications there was no error.
I would be gratefull for your help!
The following error text was processed in the system CI1 : Could not find attribute ZDATE
The error occurred on the application server bomw045a_CI1_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
Thanks in advance.Is that possible there was the field ZDATE in your form interface/ context and now it is not? I guess some source has changed so the field in the form (binding to the not existing field) cannot be processed. Otto

Error message while clicking PDF Preview of a ADOBE interactive form
Hi -
I am creating an ADOBE interactive form having Tables, few text fields and E-mail submit button. The scripting language used is FormCalc.
Whenever I am clicking on PDF Preview to see the form layout and to check other functionality, I am getting an error message:
Error message -
Error: syntax error near token '|' on line 1, column 14.
Script failed (language is formcalc; context is xfa[0].form[0].data[0].Mainpage[0].Subform3[0].Table2[0].Row1[0].RATING[0])
script=this.isnull || (this.rawvalue >= -32768 && this.rawvalue <= 32767
I checked my scripts and there is no syntax error in that. My form is also working absolutely fine except getting this error message pop up whenever I try previewing my form.
Can you please tell me, what can be the possible reason.I tried everything, but couldn't figure out the reason for error. I wrote the script again, but the error is still coming.
Here is a part of my script. I have written this script on Email submit button in preSubmit event, to check if the RATING field value is less than or equal to 3. depending upon this condition, I am making the COMMENT field as mandatory. The same script is repeated for all the RATING & COMMENT fields.
if (data.GyanMainBodyPage.Subform2.Table1.Row1.RATING1 <= 3)
then
data.GyanMainBodyPage.Subform2.Table1.Row1.COMMENT1.mandatory = "error"
data.GyanMainBodyPage.Subform2.Table1.Row1.COMMENT1.mandatoryMessage = "Please fill corresponding comment"
else
data.GyanMainBodyPage.Subform2.Table1.Row1.COMMENT1.mandatory = "disabled"
endif
