My iTunes has been playing games with my mind. It makes me think that my iPod is full and it's not 'cause I have been taking off CDs and putting on just the CD that I want to listen to since my iPod can't handle much more since it's near full. Whenever I want to put a CD on my iPod that isn't on there yet I get this weird lookin' error in iTunes when I'm wanting to put a CD on my iPod to listen to for a short time. This is what it reads: "iTunes could not copy "song" to the iPod "Liz's iPod" because an unknown error has occurred (-50). See, my iPod can't hold too many more of my new CDs so what I'm having to do is when I want to listen to one of the new ones I can put it on, listen to it, take it off and put another new one on which I don't mind doing, but this error that I am receiving has been annoying me for a long time. I'm hoping somebody knows something about this 'cause my iPod is not full at all since I'm trying my best to keep it from getting there. One other thing, I rip my CDs in 192 and VBR. My iPod has AAC on there as well, but those are just my converted music downloads that I have downloaded over the years, but the AACs aren't the case. Just my ripped CDs. Does anybody know what this error is telling me?

Nevermind, I figured it out this morning. The CDs that I have ripped in 192 all load up good without errors and I just have to drag CDs that are ripped in VBR by transferring 2 songs at a time to get it all loaded up. That is weird, but thank goodness it had nothing to do with iTunes. I was just confused... that's all.

Solved the problem. I had to allow cookies for safari and it run - as here: Re: itunes keeps asking for my apple id password. it's NOT entered incorrectly.

I am a regular user of I-tunes but recently i dont know why but I got some error in Launching I-tunes. So as recomonded by "Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7" section. I started removing the products. But after removing Quick time, I tried to remove Apple Software Update but while uninstalling it gave error that "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." and the uninstall rollbacks.
Please send me a feasible solution to this problem.

Uninstalling the iCloud control panel should allow you to do that folder deletion.

If you receive this error also, press Quit and follow these steps:
1. Start
2. Control Panel
3. Administrative tools (in classical view)

You will see something like this:

last time some1 set it up for me. i would only have 1 shortcut on my desktop. everytime i clicked on it, it would ask me which profile i wanted. even if i had 1 or 2 of the others open it would still ask me which profile i wanted to open. i want to be able to do it that way again.
yes i already set up the 3 profiles. but once i open up the one profile, and click on the short cut to open another, it just opens a brwser window with the profile in use. so i could open 10 windows, its only 1 profile, the first profile i used.

I have Windows 7 on a Dell. Open and play iTunes in the compatability mode and use Windows XP (service pack 2). Disregard any messsages to disable the compability mode. This has worked for me. I have also reinstalled iTunes and played with burn speeds etc. These ideas did not work. Compatability mode works.

I have an apple ID with choosing None for billing information when I was created about 2 years ago. from last week when I wanted to download a free applicatin by itune from App store, a message was appeared that said " You must verify your payment info before you can make purchases " while that apps is free and when I continued and went to my account and choose None from Payment Type again then the message came up and said " For assistanse, contact iTune Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/." then the instalation was stoped. I have a really annoying problem: I want a computer (Win XP, Ethernet board, Labview 7.1) to communicate with my robot controller (Win 2k, Epson SPEL+ language). The robot controller is the client, the LabViewPC the server. now reading messages sent by the robot controller are no problem to read. But when I want to send messages from the LabViewPC to the robot controller I get an error message: error ni-448, make sure that the GBIP-controller is the primary controller.
For the communication I open a TCP-listener and a TCP wait listener in a while loop. So far this works. Then I use the TCP-write function to send a string to the robot controller. Here the error described above occurs. So the communication doesn´t work.
Can anybody help me?

are there several network adapters on your host? if so pass the IP of the network adapter to the "TCP listen.vi". i'm not sure but i think i remember that in former versions this had no effect. then you could use "TCP Listen.vi" on your slave and "TCP Open Connection" function on your host.
you can use the "Simple Data Server" and "Simple Data Client" examples for a quick test.

I have purchased the last two episodes of Walking Dead from itunes and when I try to watch them on my computer (windows 8) it freezes and skips, I can't watch it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it, or does anyone else have the same issue? It's getting irritating!

OK I found the solution, at least a partial. It's on another thread. You have to drag the audiobook file to windows desktop, change the file extension to .m4b, delete the original from itunes, then drag the changed file back in, play a few seconds, then it should transfer OK to ipod audiobooks.
This is an Apple snafu, I'm sure, due to their obsession to micromanage every dang little thing. If they'd let us manage our own files like Windows does I'd like them a lot better. They should just let us put any kind of file in audiobooks and make subfolders. itunes should be a lot more like windows explorer.

I am receiving an error message when trying to back up files from backup and restore in Vista Ultimate it says Access is denied (0x80070005). This problem began occurring recently after a bunch of unwanted programs were inadvertently downloaded from the
internet. I uninstalled all of them using REVo uninstaller but some of the files were not removed in the process. Can someone out there help me resolve this problem with the error message I am experiencing? THX
