Error in Libraries panel

I have some CC libraries that I access through the Libraries panel in Photoshop. It has stopped working on my primary machine and gives the error:
"Sorry, we couldn't initialize the panel"
It, however, works in InDesign. It also works fine in Photshop on my secondary machine. I have not been able to find any documentation about the issue and am not sure how to get the panel working again. A screenshot is below.
Please can someone help?

Yes, I have restarted the computer (many times). And I have used my
Photoshop CC on another machine and can access the panel there with no
problem. So I don't think it's a problem with my libraries themselves. I
can also access my libraries from InDesign CC on the same machine. It's
just Photoshop on one specific machine that has the issue.
And yes, I can open the Libraries panel options. I tried closing the panel
and then reopening it from Window > Libraries. But the problem persists.
Any other ideas? Is there any way I can get direct support from Adobe? I
wasn't able to find a place to open a support case. I need to get this
resolved as it is really impacting my workflow, as I share these library's
with other folks.

You may try the list (or go straight to 6) if you have updated to Yosemite without reinstalling).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save curent artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Indesign CS4 - Error Synchronizing Data Panels

I have a user who is trying to synchronize their data panels which are stored on a file server. This has worked for the past few months, but yesterday she suddenly got the error that says 'Error writing data panel.' That is the only information given in the error message. The user has permission for full control over all files and folders where the data panels are located. Indesign has the correct path in its settings to the panels. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I don't actually know waht a "data panel" is in ID? Could you explain it to me? is that the EXACT error message that you receive?

Libraries panel kills tool shortcuts

Since updating PS recently, I've encountered a frustrating problem with the Libraries panel. Here are the steps to replicate it:
Select a tool (any tool)
Click inside the Libraries panel to put it in focus
Try to select a different tool with a keyboard shortcut (V for Move tool or A for Direct/path selection tool, for example)
Unless I am the only one experiencing this, you should fail at step 3. I have also noticed that Cmd+Z to undo also does not work. So in order to switch to a different tool after having added something to a library, I have to click the document so the Libraries panel doesn't have focus anymore. I can't figure out why this would be by design, but if it's a bug I don't see how they could have missed it.
This makes the new libraries feature unnecessarily cumbersome and frustrating to use, which is a shame since it could be a really handy way to store core UI elements for each project. I also don't understand why I can't highlight some text and click a color in my library to apply it to the selected text, but that's for another day I guess.
Anyone else having this problem? I'm on up-to-date Yosemite on a late 2012 iMac, and the most recent PS update.

Thanks for your reply. I am now at home, and experiencing the same issue on my brand new MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina, also running Yosemite 10.10 and up to date versions of the full CC suite. The iMac has an Apple keyboard and Logitech mouse attached, but the MBP has no peripherals at all. I'm in Norway, but my OSX is set to English. The machine at the office is a late 2012 iMac, with the same exact software. They were both upgraded from Mavericks, as opposed to a clean install, in case that matters.
Pressing ESC does not help. In fact, on the MBP the issue is slightly worse: clicking the document does not help, I have to click one of the other panels, like the tools or history panel. On the iMac it was sufficient to click the document.

How to display "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog?

I'm learning how to develop an IVI-C specific driver using LabWindows/CVI. When I run my function from its function panel and it returns an error, I would like to display a dialog with both the error code and error message (as opposed to simply returning an error code on the function panel). This would save the user from having to call Prefix_error_message() to translate the error code to its error message. NI-DCPower driver is a good example of this behavior (see attached error dialog). How do I show the "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for replying to my post. The checkErr is just an error handling macro defined in ivi.h to goto Error: tag when the function returns a non-zero value. I have been using the checkErr macro (as well as viCheckErr and other macros) in my driver.
Using the same hp34401a specific driver as an example, please allow me to explain my question in more details:
Let's take the hp34401a_close function as an example. It is a simple function with only a few lines of code:
When the hp34401a_close function is run from its front panel using an invalid session handle (e.g. "8" in this screen capture):
You will get three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs, one from each of the IVI library functions that it calls: Ivi_LockSession, Ivi_UnlockSession, and Ivi_Dispose. However, there is no "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialog from the hp34401a_close itself.
My IVI-C specific driver is behaving identical to the hp34401a specific driver.
In comparison, if run niDCPower_close function from its front panel using an invalid session handle (using the same "8" in this screen capture):
You will only get one "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" from the niDCPower_close function itself:
I think the behavior of niDCPower driver is much better than the hp34401a driver. It replaces the three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs from the IVI library with a single "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" popup dialog from the driver function itself. I would like to do the same thing with my driver but have not figured out how to display a "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog. Thanks in advance for your help!

InDesign CC Libraries panel is blank

The Libraries panel in InDesign CC on my Windows 7 PC is blank. It shows up correctly in Illustrator and Photoshop. Any suggestions? All the apps show as updated in my Apps folder. Thank you.

How to resolve multiple declaration error in libraries

Hi All,
I have one C Application, it links to two libraries. There is one variable with same name defined in two different libraries. These two libraries are third party libraries and i don't have access to their source code.
Compiler gives multiple declaration of same variable error.
Please let me know how to resolve this error.

Download error on cc panel

we have installed cc for photographers on my husbands desktop which I have a user account on, firstly it is insisting on being on his user account too but now we have downloaded my ps lr and bridge when I open my cc panel its saying download error on the Apps tab even though it has installed the things I use and my font kits.
Is there anyway to remove it from his account without it stopping running on mine? and does anyone have any ideas as to why its now showing download error when it was ok last night when we installed everything

I am getting and error with a panel in CS6 with configurator

I get the zxp file to load into CS6 but I keep getting this error when I try to use anything IOError, "File or folder does not exist"
I have built tons of panels in the other versions of configurator, but I am inporting one I did in version two and converting it. This is driving me nuts.
Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong with this.

1. The gpc file in you zip archive is not valid. It is not a text file, but a binary file.
2. For the error "File or folder does not exist", I think it is because the jsx file cannot be found. There is a global variable "assetsPath", which points to the assets folder. You can evaluate a file by
$.evalFile(assetsPath + "/LTS_Select Folder Of Images.jsx");
If the panel is exported as "CS Extension" by "File->Export Panel As CS Extension", the jsx file does not locate at app.path.toString() + "/Plug-ins/Panels/Touch Flow/content/Touch Flow.assets/". Therefore, the jsx file cannot be found after click the Script button.
The variable "assetsPath" works when the panel is exported as panel or exported as CS extension.

1) Created View Object (join over three tables) with a bind variable
2) Added View Object to Application module
3) created new empty runnable panel
4) Added a text field and a button to this panel
5) Added following code to button
private void jButton1_actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
String text = jTextField1. getText();
ViewObject vO = panelBinding.getApplication().findCustomViewObject("ListSampleQueryView1", "lt.moe.icisem.model.samples.view.ListSampleQueryViewDefImpl");
vO.setWhereClauseParams(new Object[]{text});

When I testrun the panel, get following exception
oracle.jbo.SQLStmtException: JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation.
Question: Why is the query statement issued while running the panel and not while I press tht button? And how can I avoid this error?

Error in Librarie oracle.adf.management

Hi all,
I installed JDeveloper version 11.1.1.5.0 along with the correct WebCenter extensions (http://www.oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@otn/documents/webcontent/156082.xml).
Everytime i open the JDeveloper i got the following error on extesions tabs:
oracle.adf.management
-> Error: libraries in namespace http://xmlns.oracle.com/jdeveloper/1013/jdev-libraries is not a recognized hook.
When i try to run a simple project i got a java.lang.nullpointerException on ADF
-> at oracle.adf.model.binding.DCBindingContainerReference.getDef(DCBindingContainerReference.java:111)
Can those errors be related? How do i resolve this?

I have the same problem during compile project this err occur.
I think that those err depend each other because when i log in in my app NullPointer Excep raise.

Dreamwever CS5 ERROR server behavior panel cannot determine wheter "command" or "recordset (Query)"

i get this error whenever i open pages created in CS4. ive tried deleting the cache file... deleting the entire configuration folder and letting DW re build it.. nothing... error still there. how can i turn it off? i also cant seem to find the "edit server behaviors" button.. double click? well DW freaks out with that aswell... yes i know i have some insanely hand edited code.. basically use DW as notepad replacement.. with extra features like having the option of "add recordset" then going and editing it to my liking.

Libraries panel is missing suddenly

Hi,
Yesterday i installed the update of Photoshop. I was happy that a new feature like creative cloud "libraries" appeared but when i restared photoshop some hours later, the feature disappeared suddenly. i cannot find it back anymore in my "window" menu or panels. How can i solve this. i re-installed photoshop several times but this did not solve the problem.

Hi Tommy,
Normally you should find your Library panel under Windows -> Libraries.
If not you may need to check under help (windows) if you are logged in (this is a requirement for this function). To get all to default setting test the down below steps.
1. Reset the preferences:
A:If a tool is behaving erratically, first try resetting just that tools preferences, via the method outlined by Len Hewitt in the post below this one.
If you have larger troubles, hold down Alt, Ctrl, and Shift keys (Mac: Command, Option, Shift) while starting up Photoshop. A dialog box will appear asking if you wish to delete the preferences/settings file. (How to delete/reset Photoshop preferences)
2. Try to rename the oobe and run PS CC 2014.2 again:
Mac OS: Rename the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE to OOBE.old.
Windows: Rename the following OOBE folders to OOBE.old:
\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
