Error in loading delta request to ODS

Dear All,
i am not being able to load data from ODS to another ODS and Cube. It is saying "the last delta update was incorrect therefore, no new delta update possible".
i guess i need to delete the old delta update request.
can you all help me. its a bit urgent.

i have done all the possible steps as guided by you all. i am still not being able to load it.
i will tel you my process flow:
i have a process chain which is loading data to source ODS and subsequently to another ODS and Cube.
But there was an errror in loading the data to source ODS today. So i deleted the request from the source ODS and from the other ODS and CUBE.
Now i loaded data to source ODS successfuly. and tried loading data from source ODS to other ODS and CUBE.
But the request ended with errors. so i deleted the request again from target ODS and CUBE.
Now when i m again loading data to target ODS and Cube then it is saying
1) "Delta request REQU_CGSYNH9QR02W5WZOQBDPTHP99 is incorrect in the monitor"
2)A repeat needs to be requested
3)Data target 0CRM_C04 still includes delta request REQU_CGSYNH9QR02W5WZOQBDPTHP99
4)Data target 0CRM_OPMO still includes delta request REQU_CGSYNH9QR02W5WZOQBDPTHP99
5)If the repeat is now loaded, then after the load
6)there could be duplicate data in the data targets
7)Request the repeat?

I have 2 ODS . ODS1 is the source ODS and ODS2 is the target ODS. ODS1 has full loads daily
I have initialised delta from ODS1 to ODS2 and i was loading delta on a daily basis.
Today while loading from ODS1 to ODS2 it failed. Then i deleted the data from ODS2 (Target ODS) and tried loading again. But it again said 'No delta possible'. So i deleted the full loads from ODS1. But when i load again it says the previous delta is invalidated since the full loads in the ODS1 are deleted. Can anyone of you please let me know how to handle this situation without re-initialising.

I am not sure if you can go ahead without initializing again.
I feel you may not have reset the datamart before pulling the repeat delta. This was a mistake. On top of that you have pulled a Full request. It should have been ideally a full repair.
If you still have that full request in target try converting that into full repair by using this SE38 > RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG (Change a full request to full repair request ) .
If it works you have a chance of continuing with your deltas. But you may have lost the last delta.
If it doesnt work and you have not pulled any delta after that load you have two options to retrieve the delta.
1. See if its in PSA. then pull from PSA and once done force request to green , next delta should be fine.
2. If its not there try reset the datamart in source ODS and pulling the delta again.
If both doesnt work you may need to perform full repair and then reinit.

Error while loading Delta

Hi,
I have loaded in process chain a ODS in Delta, the load was not successfull it went in error stating that : "The last delta load is still running; no new request possible" and so i deleted the request from manage. But still its showing the same information when i open the infopackage.
wat can be done to load the data in Initialize Delta Process.

This is due to mismatch in the Delta Queue.
u might have missed a delta before this request which has failed. Its stating that "The last delta load is still running; no new request possible". This means that there is a previous request which has not loaded in the target.
Just check in PSA or in DataSource Manage tab whether there is request which has not been loaded in the target.
If u find any request then load that request first and then repeat the failed request.
U need to make the QM Status manually red even if its red in RSMO as well as in Manage tab of the target before deleting the request from the target. and then when u start the info package it will give a pop up as Repeat of last delta again. If it doesnot give then it wont bring the delta load which has failed.

We are getting the following error while loading data form DSO into InofCube.
Exception CX_RS_ERROR occurred (program: CL_RSTRAN_RUNTIME_EXE=========CP, include: CL_RSTRAN_RUNTIME_EXE=========CM001, line: 231).

Hi Rizwan,
you didn't mention the error message in details. there could be a few places to be checked:
- check if BW itself source system is active and in tact and reactivate if necessary
- check if update rule is active and reactivate if necessary
- check if ODS is active and reactivate if necessary

Error while loading data on 0LIV_DS01 ODS through DTP

I am trying to load data on 0LIV_DS01 ODS through 2LIS_06_INV datasource data is comming correctly in PSA
while i'm trying to load data on ODS through DTP is runing properly till 9th package but at 10th package it showing me error
like "Exception condition "CTT_NOT_FOUND" raised"
Error Analysis
"A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLRSW0" raised the exception
condition "CTT_NOT_FOUND".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior

This error has to do something with Currency Conversion.
While loading from the DSO to the cube, do you have any currency conversions?

BI Statistics: Cube 0TCT_C01: Error when loading deltas

Good morning
I have searched SDN and could not find a solution for the following problem.
We are currently loading BI Statistics to all the 0TCT* cubes. All went well for a week or two.
The process chain "Query Runtime Statistics - Delta" where cube 0TCT_C01, "Front-End and OLAP Statistics (Aggregated)" is loaded with a Delta is failing due to an error that I cannot solve. All other '0TCT*' cubes are loading fine.
Error in 0TCT_C01::
"Error occurred in the data selection "
Job terminated in source system > Request set to red"
There are no short dumps in ST22, nor are there any jobs in BW that can shed any light on this error.
What can be the problem that 0TCT_C01 is no longer getting data from the myself system?

Error while activating multiple requests in ODS.

Hi All,
I get a "ORA-12801: unable to extend temp segment" error while activating an ODS. The problem is I selected 7 requests for activation and my Basis guy tells me he cannot add any more files to the temp tablespace.
I guess the solution would be to re-activate one request at a time. However now the dependency has been enforced between the requests and I cannot activate a single without selecting the other requests.
I even, subsequently, selected "Do not condense option..." AND the "Process Request serially" options. I get the same error.
Is there a ABAP report that can turn off this inter request dependency ?

Dinesh: I looked at the note. It applies to oracle systems < 9.2.0.6. We are at 9.2.0.6. The paramter COMPNOMERGE is missing in RSADMIN table. The note however is right on the money for the problem I am experiencing.

Error while loading data from one ODS to anther ODS

Hi all,
while loading the data from one ODS to another ODS, we are getting error message - Error: No match found in target. No Space on ODS.
I have done a runstat on these tables of the ODS.. but the issue repeated.
Can anyone tell how do we solve this issue.

Check if you get any other Dump message in ST22 to see if it is due to some space availability in the DSO or underlying tables.
Or Post in detail if any other errore message is available.

Here are some fields which are different in terms of length when mapped in transformation rules

The difference is either some dats field are mapped to decimal, or the char 32 field is mapped to raw 16 OR Calweek, Calmonth is mapped to Calday
Both mostly all the ods field size is greater than the input source field.

I have run into a short dump error while loading delta from one ODS to another via a process chain.
Following is the error message:

Check the status of request SID 259294 in ODS, whether the Activation got completed or not. If not wait till the activation completes.
If there is any problem in the activation process, correct that complete the activation process and load the ne request that you want to load..

Master data error while loading data

Dear Masters
Im getting below error while loading delta update for master data(Attr) through infopackage to only PSA. Im in BI 7.0
When I checked Error message, Im getting 2 errors. They are
1) Update mode R is not supported by the extraction API
2) Error in source system.
I checked source system is fine. im getting data also in RSA3

How you remove the error depends on the error message.

Could you please help me to resolve this issue.

Process chains might fail if the data source is not in sync between the source and the BW system. In such a case, go to the 'Source Systems' in transaction RSA1, find the datasource, right click and select 'Replicate Datasources'. Once this is done, the transfer structure needs to be activated as well. To do this in production, run the report RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL with the source system name and the infosource name. This will activate the transfer structure.
NOTE: For master data using direct upload the infosource name is the name of the info object itself.

Delete the delta request

Hi BW Experts,
I have a doubt, please make clear it.
Daily delta, first it goes to ODS and then it is updated to further data target i.e, Infocube.
Suppose today (22-09-2007) delta has been running successful in ODS as well as Infocube.
If i delete the 15-09-2007 Request (Which is Delta Request only) from both ODS and Infocube, what will happen?
Is there any problem in ODS and Infocube?
Please give me the reply.

What is the main purpose of DB Statistics.

if suppose u r deleting the particular delta request from ods and cube means
data update through that request no will be deleted from both cube and ods.
DB Statistics. it's mainly for OLAP run time analysis, query run time analysis

Unable to delete the request from ODS

Hi All,
I have loaded a request to ODS from flat file and the load got success, the request is activated and is available for reporting. Now the problem is i want to delete the request, but the request is not deleting.
I tried to delete the request by going in to the cube manage and changed the QM status and the technical status to red and delete, but it is not deleted.

Hi Prem,
If the ods has datamart status & has been used to load data to a cube, then u cant delete the ods request. In this case, first, change the QM status of the request in the cube to red (delete) & then it wud be possible to go with the deletion of ods request.

Error while loading the delta to ODS

Hi,
I have an urgent situation.
I am loading 500,000 records to my ODS with Delta request. All of them came to PSA and first 112,000 records got loaded and activated in ODS. Now, the request stays in yellow status. Other records have not loaded from PSA to ODS. How do I load rest of the records from PSA to ODS ?. Also, how do I handle Yellow request which is still waiting.
Also, is there anyway to load 500,000 records in parallel ?.

Go to the load monitor in RSA1 or RSMON and analyse the reasons.
Go to the tab details and you will get some step by step. Also, you will see the update status for each data package. This will give you some clues.
Also, the request will turn red once the preset time has elapsed for the info package. If not, you can turn it green or red. I suggest you delete the entire data.
Look at the data selections in the info package and try to send smaller set of data and do it sequentially. The job is not getting compleetd now, possibly because there are some locking issues also.
Also, ensure, you load all the master data before laoding the transaction data to the ODS.
