  • Error executing macro Forecast Invoice Plan

    Hello,
    We are facing the error in a process chain of DP background processing. The error description is : "Error executing macro Forecast Invoice Plan. " In the details, it shows that the same error is there for all the CVCs of that planning area.
    Can someone please throw some light on possible root cause for this error?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
    To start with, check your macro in /SAPAPO/ADVM - Macro Workbench.
    Is it green?
    If no, try to activate.
    If yes, check and reactivate
    Question: is your macro working in interactive?
    Thanks and Regards

  • Change color of series in Charts to custom colors - error in macro generated by Excel

    The case:
    Excel 2013, Multiple cheets with multiple charts of different type. Several charts doesn't show well will the defaut color automatically generated by Excel. -> The idea is to modify these graphics only with a specific color combination (modifying the
    color of the series)
    I'm able to modify the color of each series of 1 chart using the UI. but there are many charts so doing them with a simple macro would speed these repeative steps.
    I turned on the macro recording to capture the change of the color of a selected serie in a selected chart.
    The generated code is:
        ActiveChart.Legend.LegendEntries(1).Select
        With Selection.Format.Fill
            .Visible = msoTrue
            .ForeColor.ObjectThemeColor = msoThemeColorAccent3
            .ForeColor.TintAndShade = 0
            .ForeColor.Brightness = -0.25
            .Transparency = 0.3000000119
            .Solid
        End With
    When I execute the macro, Excel trigger an error:
    Execution error -2147467259 (80004005)
    method "Fill" of object "ChartFormat" has failed   (this is a translated error message, as I run a french version)
    Any idea why Excel cannot run its own generated code ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Very surprisingly the following code (also generated by the macro recording) works ok.
    (I selected the serie inside the chart instead of selecting the serie in the legend)
        ActiveChart.FullSeriesCollection(1).Select
        With Selection.Format.Fill
            .Visible = msoTrue
            .ForeColor.ObjectThemeColor = msoThemeColorAccent3
            .ForeColor.TintAndShade = 0
            .ForeColor.Brightness = -0.25
            .Transparency = 0.3000000119
            .Solid
        End With
    If an MVP or Microsoft official come accross this, I suggest further testing as it is very likely a bug (with the first set of code generated by Excel)

  • Error Macro security settings when loading XML data on an RTF template

    Hello,
    I was getting the error "The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your Macro security settings" and gives me the suggestion when I click the Show Help button below. I tried the suggestion but was still getting the error.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    This message can appear if:
    The macro was deleted from the template.
    The template was not loaded or referenced in the Templates and Add-ins command.
    The macro was turned off by the macro security settings of your system.
    If the macro security settings are not allowing the macro to run, you should confirm the origin of the macro to be sure that it can be trusted (contact the developer or the source for the macro). You can then temporarily enable all macros by using the following procedure.
    Click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Trust Center.
    Click Macro Settings.
    Under Macro Settings, click Enable all macros.
    NOTE: Be sure to change this option back to its original setting after you have run the macro.
    If the macro is not accessible because the template is not loaded, click the Microsoft Office Button, click Word Options, and then click Add-Ins. At the bottom of the Add-Ins pane, select Templates from the Manage drop down list, and then click Go. In the Templates and Add-ins dialog box, click either Attach or Add. If the macro is not in the template, you may need to copy the macro from one template to another. Click the Organizer button at the bottom of the Templates and Add-ins dialog box to start the Organizer utility.

    I just had the same issue on MS 2010 (and I've been using publisher for years). I loaded a ton of office patches. metalink note has the solutions: 1450347.1
    for me personall it was a combo of removing the exd file and then running the Regsvr32 command they posted.

  • Template Builder error(unable to load data)

    Hi All.
    When I try to load xml data into my document the template builder throws up the follwoing error
    The macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of you macro security settings
    This message can appear if:
    The macro was deleted from the template.
    The template was not loaded or referenced in the Templates and Add-ins command.
    The macro was turned off by the macro security settings of your system.
    If the macro security settings are not allowing the macro to run, you should confirm the origin of the macro to be sure it can be trusted (contact the developer or the source for the macro). You can temporarily lower your macro security level to Medium, close the file, and then re-open it and enable each of the macros that you want to run. If you do change your macro security settings, be sure to raise them again after you accept the macro or trust the template the macro is stored in (usually requires copying the template to the same folder as other trusted templates).
    If the macro is not accessible because the template is not loaded, click Tools | Templates and Add-ins and browse to the template and click either Attach or Add. If the macro is not in the template, you may need to copy the macro from one template to another. Click the Organizer button at the bottom of the Templates and Add-ins dialog to start the Organizer utility.
    More information about this error message online. The macro setting in my document was set to medium.

    Hello,
    According to your setting in the palnning area ("do not lock read-only key figures"), if you have set a key figure as "Output Only" in /sapapo/mc8b or by a default macro, then this key figure could not get locked.
    It is not allowed to make changes to unlocked key figures. So if there's  a macro that tries to update this key figure, you'll get the error message.
    If you have "do not lock read-only key figures" set, you must make sure that your macros do not make changes to those key figures that are output only (read only).

  • Error while using prety printer in SE38

    Hi
    i am facing problem while using prety printer
    like
    Check your source text from line 1635.
    Formatting probably contains errors.
    Possible causes: syntax errors or macros in source text
    the program is sybtatically correct and is a active mode...but don't know y this message is coming
    plz help

    Hi ,
    I had a similar problem once that was caused by 'unusual' characters at the end of some of the lines of code. These were only visible when I switch to the old-style back-end editor, where they appeared #.
    I suspected the code had been pasted from somewhere and brought over this characters. Once deleted the PP worked fine.

  • How to display "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog?

    I'm learning how to develop an IVI-C specific driver using LabWindows/CVI. When I run my function from its function panel and it returns an error, I would like to display a dialog with both the error code and error message (as opposed to simply returning an error code on the function panel). This would save the user from having to call Prefix_error_message() to translate the error code to its error message. NI-DCPower driver is a good example of this behavior (see attached error dialog). How do I show the "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
    Attachments:
    ErrorDialog.png ‏8 KB

    Hi Shawn,
    Thank you for replying to my post. The checkErr is just an error handling macro defined in ivi.h to goto Error: tag when the function returns a non-zero value. I have been using the checkErr macro (as well as viCheckErr and other macros) in my driver.
    Using the same hp34401a specific driver as an example, please allow me to explain my question in more details:
    Let's take the hp34401a_close function as an example. It is a simple function with only a few lines of code:
    When the hp34401a_close function is run from its front panel using an invalid session handle (e.g. "8" in this screen capture):
    You will get three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs, one from each of the IVI library functions that it calls: Ivi_LockSession, Ivi_UnlockSession, and Ivi_Dispose. However, there is no "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialog from the hp34401a_close itself.
    My IVI-C specific driver is behaving identical to the hp34401a specific driver.
    In comparison, if run niDCPower_close function from its front panel using an invalid session handle (using the same "8" in this screen capture):
    You will only get one "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" from the niDCPower_close function itself:
    I think the behavior of niDCPower driver is much better than the hp34401a driver. It replaces the three "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error" popup dialogs from the IVI library with a single "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" popup dialog from the driver function itself. I would like to do the same thing with my driver but have not figured out how to display a "Non-Fatal Run-Time Error In Function Panel" dialog. Thanks in advance for your help!

  • OOo and openjdk don't play after recent update on 86_64

    Just did an update this morning and got a new openjdk package - I thought no ill of it 'cos OOo supposedly supports openjdk on x86_64.
    Well, it appears it doesn't as I keep on getting an error message when I open a particular document. I then have to kill soffice to get out of the loop of error messages, restart OOo, look in tools, options, etc. to find java for OOo. But none are listed.
    I haven rebooted yet 'cos the box is busy until tomorrow morning at least - could that be the solution, a simple reboot?

  • ABAP routine in Open hub transformation

    Hello Experts,
    My BW consultant created a Open Hub service. For creating a .csv file from a cube.
    For that he had a transformation defined between the source and destination fields.
    I was asked to write a routine to bring the negative sign to front for one of the fields.
    I wrote the following code.
    >    DATA V_OUT(25).
    >
    >   CLEAR V_OUT.
    >
    >    V_OUT = SOURCE_FIELDS-G_AVVWHC.
    >
    >      CALL FUNCTION 'CLOI_PUT_SIGN_IN_FRONT'
    >        CHANGING
    >          VALUE = V_OUT.
    >
    >      RESULT = V_OUT.
    there was no error in the syntax check.
    Now, when the open hub is created/ran without routine(direct assignment) it works fine.
    But when the above code is ran, it TIMED OUT!!!!
    I am unable to find any reason for that.
    Could anybody please provide some guidance on this.
    Regards,
    DNP

    Hi Jerry,
