Error in maintenance optimizer generating Stack File XML

Hi all,
In step 3 "Download Files" of maintenance optimizer transaction to implement the EHP5 of ERP, In the tab "Log" I see the following error.
*Collecting XML adjustment input data done with error or warning.
Message no.AGS_MOPZ_PLAN_MSG144*
The stack XML file is very very important to the ehpi installer, then I need to know which implications have the error below...
I create 3 Maintenance Optimizer transactions, and in all of them, the error appears.

Hello,
Please check if the SPAM level of the Solution Manager is the latest.
If this does not help, please check the details about the error message in transaction SLG1 (this transaction is the full application log). There should be extra text / error message explaining the situation, you only have to look for the error around the time when you got the 'Collecting XML adjustment input data done with error or warning' message.

Q_1 - Q_2 DataLink. Q_2 columns are not apperaing in Generate to file - XML

Dear experts i have developed a report in 6i against Oracle Applications 11i, Purchasing Module ...... I have two Queries in DataModel Q_1<->Q_2 with DataLink. The only problem is Q_2 columns are not appearing in Generate to file -> XML.
I developed similar style report against scott/tiger tables and Q_2 columns are appearing in XML. their are no wrong settings like "Exclude from XML output"
Generate to file -> delimited, html, pdf etc are working OK for both APPS and Scott RDFs.
Does this have something to do with what is mentioned here (though for 10g, point 17.1.4) ...

no, the mentioned delimited text restrictions do not apply to XML-output...
Hm, try to take your report and use the wizard to generate a paper layout to see if the data is really "appearing" due to your data model.
Maybe there is some problem in the data link... e.g. number to character conversion in the datatypes that causes the problem...

MOPZ error while generating stack file for EREC upgrade

I need to upgrade E-Recruitment 604 to 606.
Currently we are on Netweaver 7.01 While adding this system in SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 05 in order to generate
stack.xml file i manually selected this product system in product system
editor and we had selected below combinations
1)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01(marked as installed) + SAP ERP
-> started MOPZ with same and selected target as SAP ERP 6 EHP 7 but
while doing so got error as Invalid queue because EA_APPL is not selected
but actually EA_APPL is not in components for EREC system
2)EHP4 for SAP ERP 6 with ABAP technology and E RECRUITING + EHP1 for
NW 7.0
->started MOPZ with target as SAP netweaver 7.4 but while doing so
getting error as "EHP Component ERECRUIT 604 without suitable Technical Usage!"
and Mark relevant instance to include the software component ERECRUIT
604 in SMSY/LMDB but Product system editor is perfect and verification tool is also green.

Error in Maintenance Optimizer in step "Select files for component "

Hi everybody,
i would like to download patches for my system. I have defined a solution and now i will start the Maintenance Optimizer procedure to download, but when i press a button "Select Files..." an error "the page cannot be displayed" occurred.
Does anybody know what should i check in my configuration? Where can I find more details for error?

Here is the whole solution for you.
Hope you have implemented the note 990534 properly.
This is what I have done to resolve the same issue -
Apply patch ST-ICO 8 and 9
generate BC set SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000
generate BC set SOLMAN40_CHARM_PROXYFACT_001
If the error still persist, you will need to work on the below notes. (997780)
Goto SPRO - IMG>SAP SOL MGR>SCENARIO SPECIFIC>CHANGE REQ MGMNT>EXTNDED CONFIG>CHANGE TXN>CONSISTENCY CHECK IN CHANGE REQ MGMNT (define basic settings SOCM_CHECK_002)
Deselect the 'Integr' field (integration with change management is required) for the checks listed below. The system issues a message stating that changes are not allowed and that the entries are SAP property. This is only a warning message. Choose ENTER to ignore the message and save your changes.
Checks:
           IB_SYST_CHK
           S_USER_CHECK
           REQUEST_IN_PROCESS
           SOLUTION_ASSIGNMENT
           PRODUCT_ASSIGNMENT
           S_USER_CHECK
           EMPTY_CONTAINER
           SYSTEM_STATUS_OK
If you are getting the error "no active ibase" after this, try to implement 1030498.

Error in maintenence optimizer while selecting files for download for EHP4

HI,
We are trying to download files for upgrade of ECC (HCM) and Portal systems from EHP3 to EHP4.
This download we are doing through the Solman 7.0. Solman is currently at 7.0 but going to be upgraded soon to EHP1.
Problem is that after we select the files for download of ECC EHP4, in step 2.1 i.e. 'choose stack', the next screen shows error as "Only one EhP release is allowed additionally".
Is this because the Solman is not upgraded to EHP1 yet or soem other reason?
Please let us know.

3.4.2 Only one EHP release is allowed
Issue: You get the error message: u201COnly one EHP release is allowedu201D
Reason: This problem is documented in SAP Note 1139602.
If you get this error message, then you already have installed another SAP enhancement package on this system before (for example SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0).
The error tells you that you have chosen too few technical usages. If you continued with this selection, you would not update all of the software components to SAP enhancement package 4 that are currently on SAP enhancement package 3. So in the end, some software components would be on SAP enhancement package 3 while others would be on SAP enhancement package 4. That way you would have several SAP enhancement package versions in one system, which is a state that is not supported.
Solution: SAP Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer requests you to select more technical usages and proposes a list for you to choose from.
If you implement SAP Note 1287216, then Maintenance Optimizer automatically pre-selects the technical usages that are already installed on the system. In the example here, the technical usage Central Applications has been installed on a previous version of SAP enhancement packages.
In rare cases you still get the error after accepting what SAP Solution Manager proposes. The reason for this is that you updated software components without properly covering technical usages.

AISUSER not assigned - Giving error during Maintenance Optimizer

I am trying to set up Maintenance Optimizer on Solution Manager 7.0 SP15 ( WIndows 2003).
I am using wizard to do this. But I am getting error when I am trying to update "Assign S-User for SAP Support Portal functionality" ( Basically the AISUSER Tcode does ) :
When I am entering new entries, Its allowing me to enter User , SAP Customer No, but whenver I am trying to input Contact Person Its giving me the following error :
"Partner number 0000000000 was not found in table AICONTACTS."

Are you sure that you are entering the correct Customer Number and the corresponding S-userid is correct ?

RWRBE60 error when trying to "generate to file"

I am trying to generate a TXT file to import over to excel. but i get the following error. I am using Report Builder 6.0.5.31.0. I tried to run it on multipule comuters and still same error. Am i missing a patch or something? If you can help drop me an email or post.

Error with Maintenance Optimizer in Solution Manager 4.0

Hi, I am configuring Solution Manager for download SP, I check marketplace and download the guide, when I try to download a SP following message show me:
"Change requests cannot be displayed or created, because the RFC connection has errors, or is not maintained.
Check whether the RFC connection to the Change Man agement system is under the key CHARM_DEST (APPLI field in the DESTINAT field), in the view BCOS_CUST. You need authorization for the cross-client view/table maintenance (S_TABU_DIS and S_TABU_CLI).
Check the RFC connection in the transaction SM59. If your SAP Solution Manager system is also your Change Manager system, the internal connection must be 'NONE'. You need authorization for the administration of RFC connections (S_RFC_ADM)."
I go to sm59, verify RFC SAP-OSS with correct data, I found at guide following Host :

When I try press Connection Test Buttom I can not connect to SAP.
Do you know which can be my error? .....

Steps to do before configre the maintance optimizer you need to configure sattilite systems in solution manager.
go to SMSY and configre R\3 systems.For these systems you need to create RFC connections and Logical comp.

Squiggly Flash Builder Error in Flash Catalyst Generated FXP File

Flash Builder generates the following error message in a Flash Catalyst Generated project with PHP as the server when the Squiggly AdobeSpelling.swc is included in the LIBS folder: "Unable to load AdobeSpelling.swc in design mode" with the result that fds.swc, fiber.swc and serializers.swc do not load in design mode. Squiggly functionality consequently does not work. Any one else with a similar experience with a work around?

EhP4 Stack file format error in xml

Hi all,
My intention is to Upgrade an sap system 4.6C to Ecc6 including EhP4.
i am running through many problems since now
Here is my newest one:
In solution manager i calculated a stack.xml. After that, i copied the files to the test system which i am upgrading. Now in phase "Stack configuration" i must provide the xml-file.
when i click next, i get an error:
The selected configuration file ("M:InstCds
w70ehp1SMSDXML_P01_20090520113757.307.xml") is not useable.
Reason: "File format error"
Update ....
OK my fault.
in SAP Note Number: 1022704 is the info that in case of start release BELOW 4.6, you cannot use the xml-file, you have to choose the txt-file
Hm .. we have 4.6 which is not BELOW 4.6 but with the txt-file is works ... now i have the next error ...
i tried different files but every time the same error ...
Any idea ?

is work for the txt-files in this way, that the stack can be read.
It is a little bit confusing, as the german note says: as of 4.6 and lower
but the english note says: lower than 4.6
so there is a little diffrence
But now i have the Problem, that the generated Stack-file from the solution manager is invalid:
"# Error message set: 'Stack file is invalid: keep version w/o component upgrade'"

Stack file that is generated does not contain any java components

We are in process of upgrading our ecc6.0 system with ehp4. The enhancement is stuck up in configuration phase for JAVA. Though we have configured Java in solution manager the stack file that is generated does not contain any java components and so the installation is stuck up. Kindly request you to advice us on this issue .

Though we have configured Java in solution manager the stack file that is generated does not contain any java components
You will probably need to update Solution Manager first with a number of corrections so you can get a correctly generated stack file. Depending on your ST400 version in Solution Manager apply collective corrections from "Note 1461849 - MOpz: Collective corrections 24" or "Note 1452118 - MOpz: Collective Corrections 23". They generally deal with these kind of stack file issues.

I have seen that exist several way to generate xml based on a table from database, however what is the better form (or more correct)???
In the my case, I'll need to generate a file xml based on a table, and posteriorly I'll have to retrieve this xml and to save in the database.
In other words I'll have to do import and export of files xml-db db-xml.
What is the better way?*

Call Transaction SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG ->SAP Solution Manager -> Advanced Configuration -> Basic Settings -> SAP Solution Manager System -> Change Management -> Set Up Maintenance Optimizer

Define a Solution:
Solution_Manager Select Solution Overview New.
Enter Descriptive Name ( Ex. GTS Landscape )
Hit Continue
Select Solution Landscape Maintenance
Select System Groups & Logical Components on the Left hand Side
Select Solution Landscapes and pick the one you created
Define the solutions for that landscape
Highlight each item and click Logical Component (You must have a valid license to set this up)
Assign S-User
Transaction: AISUSER
Enter you user id and your SUSER ID for downloading
Create another SAPOSS Connection called SAP-OSS with S-User assigned
Call SOLUTION_MANAGER
Select Solution Overview
Select the solution you want to work with
Select Change Management Support Package Stacks
Click Maintenance Optimizer around middle of screen
Select the solution you want to get Sps for
Go to OSS and add the files to download basket
When done return to screen and hit continue
Select - Confirm files in Download Basket
Error message comes if your sap user and your oss user are not setup in AISUSER screen
Now go to SAP Download Manager ( On your local pc ) and download the files you just confirmed of course using the same S-User id you just added them to the basket with
Apply support packages via spam per normal process
Return to the SOLUTION_MANAGER window select the landscape you are working on
Hit Maintenance Optimizer List
Choose the maintenance transaction you are working on
You will see a list of the confirmed and downloaded sps you selected
Once you apply these to the system using SPAM you will change the status of implementation to Completed and Hit Save
This completes this activity
If you wish to do more work you will have to create a new transaction.
[Edit section] Add A New Instance to Maintenance Optimizer
Sign into Solution Manager
Ensure new instance has valid license installed and logical clients assigned
Select Landscape Components
Right Click Systems
     Select Create new system with assistant
Enter
SID / Description / Product Type / Installation Number ( Get this from SLICENSE in system you are setting up )
Next enter Sys # & MEssgae Server and hit continue
Next select Generate RFC Destinations & Assign Logical Components & Enter Client #
I always get a problem saving since SLD is not setup ignore and continue
Highlight the system you just added under Systems SAP Global Trade Services
Select Assignment to Logical Components
Now add additional software such as Net weaver ABAP & JAVA if your primary setup was of another type ( ex. GTS )
Highlight the system you wish to update under Systems and hit change
     Select Header Data
     Click Installed Product Versions
     In the product box add whatever you require for this system
     Select the version from the 2nd box and hit copy
Ex.
If you cannot setup the trusted system here is a workaround:
Create User in Target for Trusted System RFC from SM1
     User:      <Username>
     Pass:   <Pass>
     Type: Communication
Use this when setting up the trusted connection, remove the trust and use this CPIC user info for the RFC.
Generate RFCs and ensure SMSY setup is done for SID in Solution manager
Now Create a New Solution For your instance:
Go to SOLUTION_MANAGER transaction
     Select NEW
     Give Descriptive name: ex. GTS Landscape
Under Solution Landscape
     Select Solution Landscape Maintenance
     Select System Groups and Logical Components Tab
          Open Solution Landscapes
               Select the one you just defined (GTS Landscape)
SOLTION_MANAGER
Select Change Management Support Package Stacks
Select Maintenance Optimizer
Select the Product Version
     GTS 7.1
Select the System Type SID
From here you will be prompted to go to service marketplace and add the items you wish to install. You can do this beforehand as well, be sure to use the same Suser you setup in AISUSER with your sap login
It will ask you to confirm the basket, once you do that you install them normally.
Download with sap download manager, ftp and apply
