Error in migr from CR9 to XI3.1 regarding CurrentDate in InfoView

Hi all
I have migrated a lot(1000+) reports and have noticed that there is a difference when viewing the reports, and their instances, in CR2008 and InfoView.
The reports have a Custom function, which refers to CurrentDate.
When looking at instances in InfoView, the CurrentDate takes the actual currentdate (as of this post 2009-10-27). That is a problem because the instances have been refreshed monthly two years back. The amountcolumns are filtered regarding to CurrentDate, which actually CHANGES the historical instances when viewing them. In the old ePortfolio, the instances were static to the currentdate-value, when the report was scheduled.
In the clienttool CR2008, the report and their instances are correct.
Has anyone else handled this situation, or can hint me in some direction?

Just wanted to update this thread.
The problem seems to be that when looking at the instances, they are not static. I thought that was the whole point of creating instances, that they were a snapshot at the time they were created.
Is there a way, a switch or whatever, that keeps the generated instances static?

WebI report throwing error when migrated from XIR2 to XI3.1

I have some webi reports built in BO XIR2 on OLAP universes (SAP BW3.5 based). Recently I have migrated the reports from old XIR2 environment to a new XI3.1 environment.
The specification of new system is as below:
BO XI3.1
SAP BW 3.5
No SP and FP is installed. (Actually when I tried to install the SP2, it failed)
After the migration, some of my reports are running for 5 minutes and then throwing an error like below:
A database error occured. The database error text is: Error in MDDataSetBW.GetCellData. See RFC trace file or SAP system log for more details. (WIS 10901).
The same report is working fine in old system.
Has anyone faced this problem yet?

The transports are already imported.
What I can see is if there is a query with only dimension objects and no measure, then that is throwing error in XI3.1. But the same query is running fine in XIR2.
Any Idea?

Please check the connection with BIA. Please ask the Basis team to check the BW to BIA connection if they maintain it.
YOu can go to rsddbiamon2 and check BIA connection availibility for more details.
If that is right please try redoing the step at which you faced error and it should help.

Error Message: Data from Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST not transferred

Hi All,
I have done a BADI implementation for ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and when I try to convert a PR to PO using ME59N in ECC u2013 AFS System I am getting below error message.
Data from Business Add-In ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST not transferred.
I am trying to populate certain PO fields ( ekko and ekpo ) from PR fields. But the above error occurs when I update the Ex Factory Date manual that is EKPO-J_3AEXFCM.
I am updating this in the method PROCESS_ITEM and what I found while debugging is in the class CL_PO_HEADER_HANDLE_MM, in the implementation of IF_FLUSH_TRANSPORT_MM~START, the contents of field u2018my_iteration_countu2019 keeps increasing and becomes 10 and raises this error.
I read few of the related questions raised by others in this forum and understood that this can happen if I try to change the field that is disabled ( greyed) in ME22N. But this field that I am talking about is enabled.
I also tried to move my code of populating the field EKPO-J_3AEXFCM from the PROCESS_ITEM to the enhancement point just above the user exit EXIT_SAPMMO6E_018 but still it doesnu2019t resolve the error.
(We donu2019t want to use User Exit and hence we are trying with BADIs or enhancement point.)
Can anyone please help me with this. I also found an OSS note 1334046 but not sure if that can resolve my issue.

Error while updating from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5 on MacBook Pro

Hi,
I wanted to update from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5 as offered by App Store. During installation an error message box showd up saying just "An unexspected error occured" (Translated from german). After hitting "ok", the update disappeared from the AppStore Update Tab. There was a hint before, that for that update I had to restart the computer, but after that error message, there was no notice in the message center (as it normallys shows up) to restart. I did'nt restart until now, since I'm not sure if my system will still work afterwards (at the moment it seems to be all ok). The "About this Mac" windows show already version 10.8.5.
I have an MacBookPro 15'' Retina, German version.
I looked throught the installation protocol and found the line, where it was logged: Here is an excerpt from the log file. I marked the relevant line with "-->".
I don't now what to do now. Can I /Should I restart my Macbook ? Should any action be made to correct this error or is it not important ? Can I redo the update ?

If you have 10.8.5 & things work as expected, you probably don't need to do anything - although there's always the combo update, as Barney mentioned.

SDM Error while deploying from IDE

Hi I am getting an error while deploying from IDE.
-- Server XXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018.Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXX at port 50018: XXX
This problem has been discussed herein SDN earlier.I also checked in the SDM trouble shooting guide and accordingly have added a entry in the host file under sys32/drivers, but still I continue to get that error.Any pointers will be appreciated.

Have you ever been able to deploy into SDM. What is the password that you type. Try typing SDM and see. If that doesnt work then you will have to change the password of your SDM. Your password either has been corrupted or changed
Anyway follow these steps
1. Start the Config Tool.
(Execute <SAPj2eeEngine_install_dir> \configtool\configtool.bat.)
1. Select the secure store node.
The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
1. Select the admin/password/<SID> entry.
2. Enter the administrator user's new password in the "Value" field and choose "Add".
3. Choose "File" --> "Apply" to save the data.
Note: Contrary to the message that appears, you do not need to restart the server or cluster for this change to take effect.
4. Finally restart SDM server.

Error during Upgrade from 4.6c to ECC 6.0

We are facing an error when upgrading from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. We are facing this error on the table COEP - runtime object inconsistancy. What we found is there is ERP upgrade has created new extra fields in the table. In log file the error is specified as : Duplicate Field name, But we not able to find the duplicate field name in the table. Please kindly help as early as possible. The upgrade process is stuck.

Runtime error while connecting from SAP to MS-SQL DB

Hi,
I am writing a program to send data from SAP to MS SQL DB.
The stored procedure when run alone works fine.
I have defined connection 'C04' in DBCO with correct attributes.
But the 'CONNECT TO C04' statement gives me runtime error DBIF_DSQL2_CONNECTERR saying that 'Connection to Database system with the identifier C04 is not possible;.
First of all, I am not very clear if it is a ABAP problem or BASIS problem.
I did a lot of research but could not find a solution.
Please help me.

1. If your application server
   is unix/aix,
   then connection to MSSQL db
   is not possible.
(Bcos both OS are different,
and the connector is not provided
by sap / not available)
2. After making an entry in DBCON Table,
   probably something may be required to
   be done on the application server,
   by the basis team.
3. If this connection is required
   to be made to oracle server,
   then basis definitely requires
   to make a connection string
   on the application server
   (apart from the dbcon entry)

Error while loading from PSA to Cube. RSM2-704 & RSAR -119

Dear Gurus,
I have to extract about 1.13 million records from set up tables to the MM cube 0IC_C03. While doing, the following two errors occured while loading from the psa to the cube:
Error ID - RSM2 & error no. 704: Data records in the PSA were marked for data package 39 . Here there were 2 errors. The system wrote information or warnings for the remaining data records.
Error ID- RSAR & No. 119: The update delivered the error code 4 .
(Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM )
I tried to change the defective records in psa by deleting the erraneous field value EMN and tried to load but failed.
Now, my questions are:
How can I resolve the issue ?
(ii) How to rectify the erraneous record ? should we only delete the erraneous field value or delete the entire record from the psa.
(iii) How to delete a record from psa.

Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM
The issue with record no. 5129 and 5132.
In PSA check errorneous records and it will display only the error records, you just edit as per the require and try reloading into cube.
Deleting single record is not possible.
Let us know if you still have any issues.

Codepage coverting error utf-8 from System codepage to iso-8859-1 (PI 7.1)

Hello Experts,
In our Prcess, we receive an Idoc from an IS-U system and then we send this Idoc with some Header-Information via http-Adapter to a Seeburger System.
In the outbound communication Channel we have a XI Payload manipulation with xml-Code iso-8859-1.
We get the Error: Codepage coverting error utf-8 from System codepage to iso-8859-1, and only for this Idoc, where othe similar Idocs runs correctly.
Is it possible, that the Idoc contains non-utf-8 chars so the error occurs?
PS: another XI in our landscape uses a http-Channel with the same configuration in a similar process, an it work, so guess the Problem is not in the communication channel.

A would rather think, that there could be any non-iso-8859-1 character be in the IDoc. For example an czech or polish character.

When i change the sm59 connection not to use ssl. it give me a pop up screen . and asks me to enter user and password...
He then give me a private key file .. i.e a .pfx file but not sure how to load this in strust. I tried to convert in useign sapgenpse. but it fails with teh ffg error

Please refer to (Note: 167000.1 - E-Business Suite Diagnostics Installation Guide) and make sure you have the latest patch of "Oracle Diagnostics Tool" applied. I believe applying the patch will fix the invalid object issue.

Message failing in SXMB_moni----Error while reading from the secure store

The scenario is as below
A file is picked up from a folder and processed to enrich it.This enriched file is then written back in a different folder.
The message is failing in sxmb_moni while trying to write the file in the folder.
The PI system is a system copy of another system and few of the configuration objects are transported through a tpz file to this PI system.The file receiver channel used to write this file is also transported through this tpz file.
Below is the error seen in moni.:

IDOC Error - Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload

I have following scenario.
SOAP adapter ---> PI   -
> IDOC Receiver -
> ECC
THe IDOC has a required node that is disabled and IDOC revicer communication channel has checkd following options.
Apply control record value from pay load
Take Sender from Payload
The soap message is mapped to IDOC structure. While testing I received following error.

Thank you for the response. I can enable EDI_DC40 segment and map required following values.
·        SNDPRN
·        SNDPRT
·        SNDPFC
·        RCVPRN
·        RCVPRT
However as we move transports to different environemnts the above values changes and I can't hard code in the mapping.
My questions is how can I map these values such that when transport moves across different environemtns the mapping valaues are still good. Please let me know.
Dont enable EDI_DC40 and dont select take sender ,receiver from pay load option,apply control record values from pay load.
this case IDoc adapter reads values from configuration time andno problem after trasporting to quality or prod.
