Error in MSS Personal Change Request (PCR)

The PCR Team Viewer gives an error saying that
"An error occurred: com.sap.pct.hcm.objectanddataprovider.proxyclasses.Hrwpc_Rfc_Get_Objects_FaultException: "
Can anyone suggest me what can be the reason of this error?

MSS-mySAP ERP2004-Error in Personal Change Request

HI,
I am trying to configure the business package for MSS for my SAP ERP 2004.
I have deployed the business package,the web dynpro development components for ess, mss and pcui_gp.
I have done the JCO destination settings, done the system settings in EP.Have done the back end configurations as given in help.sap.com(assigned the employee to user,assigned authorizations).
I have configured the adobe document services for the scenario for interactive forms.
When i login into MSS using the userid,the frontend is dispalyed.
When i navigate to Personal change request,and click on link "New Personal Change Request", i get the error:
failed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.pcui_gp.isr.isrprocessevent.model.IsrModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'
And:
no jcoMetadata found for RFC function 'ISR_COMPLETE_NOTIFICATION'! Please verify, that your model is consistent with the ABAP backend:
I have provided the details for Server on which web dynpro application is deployed,in the ECC server in SPRO under
Cross-Application Components ® Internet/Intranet Services ® Internal Service Request ® Scenario Definition ® Define Scenarios ® Details ® Additional Data for Scenario.
When i test the form from there i get the same eror.

in R3 ECC 5.0
apply sap note 800288.

Please note that you have to create the function module ISR_COMPLETE_NOTIFICATION in function group FISR2 - you should use transaction SE37 for this.
As importing parameter specify I_NOTIFNUMBER type QMNUM.
As exporting parameter specify E_USERSTATUS type CO_ASTTX as well as E_SYSTEMSTATUS type QMSTTXT.
As table specify RETURN structure BAPIRET2.

Problem in MSS (My Staff- Personal change request )

Hi,
i am configuring MSS in EP6.0, backend is MySAPERP 2004,ECC5.0.
On going to My Staff-->Personal Change Request -->New Request-> i select the employee and get lots of options like request for promotion, Internal Transfer, separation etc. However on clicking on any of these, i get a critical error saying "Error in try-catch block - Template could not be retrieved."
Can anyone who has implemented MSS, help me out with this..

Hi Aditi,
Try to login with some another manager test id's. some time the test id's get locked at backend. that time such a type of error displays.
first clear your cache and then try out.

Probs in Implementing the MSS feature - Personal Change Request

Hi,
We are implementing the ESS/MSS on EP6 and theres a probs relating to MSS ,of Personal Change Request.
When I select a particular employee and got to edit the Form , it displays a err mesg " Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Processing exception during a "Render" operation."
Can someone help me regarding this

Hi Abhay,
As I understand I think you are talking about PCR's (personnel Change request)
PCR's actually MSS(manager self service) concept. which will be done on portal end. and not directly in R/3 server. The data eventually stores in R/3 , through Badis.
eg: say there is a manager , and he wants to make some changes like position changes,etc to his subordinates....
this he could do by choosing(options) radio buttons, like
1.position change
2.termination etc ( these radio buttons are called as scenarios)
There could be more than these 2 scenarios and this screen appears as a portal screen ie through a portal server(done by 'ep' people) and the forms used in these scenarios are adobe forms, which consists of drop down boxes, etc.

Unable to edit the form in Personal Change Request

Hi,
One of the manager is trying to edit the employees information. When he navigates to edit form of personal change request, under My Crew tab of Manager Self Service in portal, unable to edit the information but he is able to add notes. in the form.
In detail, the manager is trying to assign new manager to an employee under him(moving an employee to differen team headed by different manager so trying to replace his name in the employee's informaton). The manage is unable to change the information or unable to edit any information in the form "request for change in position/transfer"
Could someone help me on this.

Hi,
The issue is resolved. This is because of Acrobat JavaScript option disabled in display preferences of the form.
Once this checkbox is enabled its working fine.

InfoCube Error Message: Choose a change request with target system BWQ

Hi experts,
I have a problem when I want to edit an InfoCube created by other developer. The error message received is as follow:
"Choose a change request with target system BWQ".
When I click on the Documentation (F9) button, the detailed message is:
"Message no. TK511
Diagnosis
The selected change request BWDK901086 has target system .
However, the objects you edit can only be recorded in change requests with the target system BWQ.
The correct target system is determined from the package and transport layer to which the object concerned belongs.
System response
The selected change request BWDK901086 is not used to record the objects.
Procedure
Either choose a different change request or change the target system of the change request BWDK901086.
From the prompt window for change requests, you can display all requests you can use by choosing Own requests.
Alternatively, you can create a new request by choosing Create request.
For more information, see the SAP Library under BC - Basis Components -> Change and Transport System ."

hi Fullham,
try se09/10 and find request BWDK901086 (use binocular icon) or se03. then double click that request, go to tab 'properties', hope you will see 'Target System' system there, click 'edit'/pencil icon and change it to BWQ.
you may need to change the owner (which may not authorized), ask basis help if necessary.

MDG-F: Error when opening the Change Request

Hi MDG Experts
In MDG-Finance, when i'm opening the Change Request (CR Type: 0G_S002), to "finalize processing", i get this error message: "Object ID 060822EA65231EE3A7DB2A05A0AB8E61 is not valid". As a result the single processing option does not pull the master record that was added in the Create Change Request option for submitting for approval.
I'm not sure what this error is and how to resolve it.

Thanks for your prompt response. The entity search option that you mentions works successfully.
However, in case of manual replication, i'm still facing a challenge.
After executing the Manual replication option, the data isn't getting replicated to back-end ECC. Infact, in DRFLOG, the log is all green for "Process Outbound implementation GL Master Idoc (1012)".
Am i missing something here ?

Error in MSS Internal Service request

I install MSS 60.1.5 under EP 60 sp10. All iviews under My budget (internal service request) are not working now, such as "change internal order request", "change project" and so on. After clicking the "submit" button, the error shows "An error occurred whilst processing the notification".
I will really appreciate your suggestions.

Error in MSS-Create Requisition Request, form ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3

Hi,
We are trying to configure MSS app, create requisition request using standard adobe form ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3.
We have configured standard HCM process HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION for it. When entering all
the mandatory fields in the form and clicking on 'check and send' , it displays an error
"you must enter a requisition title'
although we have already entered req. title in the field.
Anyone faced this issue before?

Hello smit ,
You can find out the enhancement ( BADI defnition ) that corresponds to MSS Requisition request .
Debugging the same will let you know why the error is coming .
You could also be due to config done under MSS -> recruitment.

OBEO installation error - stuck in name change request

When installing outlook it automatically installs Oracle Beehive Extension for Outlook (OBEO). This is OK but.. during installation it downloads OBEO en request login information: account name and password.
In this screen I have made a spelling error in the account name (a space instead of a point). I didn’t see this and hit the 'sign in' button what of course returned the error
'The user name or password as entered may be incorrect. Re-enter your user information.'
the problem is that the 'account name' field CANNOT be changed what makes it impossible to enter the right account name.
I have checked the beehive wiki pages but cannot find anything to correct this. I have deleted outlook completely and re-installed it but as soon as the OBEO installation runs it keeps the old (wrong) account name without the option to change it.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Upgrading PCRs (Personnel Change Requests) front end technology

Hi All,
We are currently on Netweaver 7.0 & ECC 6.0 and ESS - MSS Business Package 50.4. We are using JSP Forms on portal front for Personnel Change Requests (PCR's ) where in all the scenarios in the backend are heavily customised. For certain scenarios, where in a huge amount of information is fetched from ECC 6.0 backend system, JSP are performing really bad and the total time taken to display the form is actaully causing a lot of irritation to the end user.
We are planning to propose an upgrade to SAP adobe interactive forms. The prerequisite is that the business wants to reuse all the customised scenarios without any changes and just want to move towards better front end forms.
My questions are:
1. Please list benefits of SAP Adobe interactive forms over JSP forms (performace wise)
2. Issues with SAP Adobe Interactive forms?
3. Any other options available for UI that can be suggested?
All suggestions are welcome. Quick response is appreciated.

Have you tried with WD ABAP. Since your application is dealing with data from backend, I think WD ABAP should suit your purpose. You will have much better handler over the data in this case.
