Error in ODS data load

Hi,
I am trying to load data to ODS from CSV file but one of the field is not getting updated.
Although, that field has data in PSA. Why is it happening???

Hi,
Is the request loaded without errors to the ODS? Check the mapping for the field in the update rules, if you are doing it in 3.x or check the Tranformations.

Select 0SOLD_TO and move the horizontal scrollbar till end..you find one conversion..check that..

Error in Master data load because of ###

Hello,
I am getting an error in master data load.
The problem is ####### symbols are encountered in few records.
We have defined a formula to replace the ### with S in transfer structure.
But still it does not replace the #### symbols and gives error.
But when I insert the ####### symbols manually in PSA and try to load it is replaced with the formula definition and loads the data.
Suggestions required urgently

Check the code below.
I have used it in the update rule to replace the #### symbol with A.
But when i check in debug mode it is not recognizing this symbol and sy-subrc ia always 4.
GV_STRING = COMM_STRUCTURE-/BIC/XXX
FIND '#' in R_STRING.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '#' in R_STRING with 'A'.
ENDIF.

Error Message after data load (error is "1130610")

We load data using a data load rule. The data seems to load fine except we get the error message "ERROR - 1241101 - Unexpected Essbase error 1130610" on last line below? Any thoughts? Is there a guide somewhere that explains in details all the various error codes and what they refer to? We're using Essbase 6.5.1. Put all files the ESSCMD script needs in the $ARBORPATH\APP\applicationName\databaseName directory. Run the ESSCMD script from the $ARBORPATH\APP\applicationName\databaseName directory. Check the ESSCMD script for invalid paths. Make sure every folder that the script is pointing to exists. If we do this
Use table RSSDLINIT and in OLTPSOURCRE: enter the name of the data source
And in the logsys enter the name of the source system and delete the entry for that info package. what will happen is process chain will run suceesfully and short dump will not come or what kindly give the detail explanation about this RSSDLINIT.

BW ERROR while doing data loading

1)while doing data load error--Processing data packet- No Data,
2)Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : 2nd processing step not yet finished.
3) Also in some cases there are 0 from 0 records and request is still Yellow i can't delete that too .what option are there to resolve such request.

First the data is come to PSA?If yes then u r problem is from PSA to Data Target.In this case Manually change the request status to red and then delete load the data.
Second If the data not at come to PSA also then check in RSA3 whetehr Data avialble or Not.If it is Delta load then check the entries in RSA7.

Sql loader error in offline data load

Hi,
I have done an offline schema creation using existing tablespace.
I am trying to do an offline data load using sql loader.The CTL and DAT file are generated by the work bench.
This is my CTL file code generated by workbench.
load data
infile 'Import.dat' "str '<EORD>'"
into table IMPORT
fields terminated by '<EOFD>'
trailing nullcols
When I am running the ctl file with DAT file in sql loader I am getting the following error
SQL*Loader-350: Syntax error at line 4.
Expecting single char, found "<EOFD>".

My Sql Loader version is Release 8.0.6.3.0
Please help if anyone has came across this issue.

Its a long time since I have seen 8 sql loader. Check the doc. Is it resrticted to a single character delimter??

Error is Master Data load.

Hi Experts,
From last 1 month the ( 0MAT_UNIT ) master data load is getting failed. Its a full load. So the the target is not updated from last one month( August)
Now the problem is , when I am checking a report. The materials which are new or changed are not getting the data properly. It is because of the master data got stucked at PSA level.And I cant rectify at PSA level because, There is 673 errorneous record in 1 package.
I tried to find the invalid character , but didn't get anything.
Please suggest.

Data records in the PSA were marked for data package 1 . Here there were
673 errors. The system wrote information or warnings for the remaining
data records.
                                                                                System response
The data package was not updated.
Procedure
Correct the incorrect data records of the data package (for example by
     manually editing them in the PSA maintenance). You can find the error
     message for each of the records in the PSA by double-clicking on the
     status of the record.
Note
Note that you are only allowed to edit and manually update the request
     if it is contained in the request list in the data target. Where
     necessary, first delete it from the data target.
And it is a master data load( Full ), The data target is a INFO OBJECT.
Please suggest, I can't rectify each and every reecord. Because the number of record id very high..

is getting the Error Message Data shows 0 from 0 Records.
I was Remove the Key Field from ODS Then try to load the data but i am getting same Error..

Error in Data activation for ODS data load

We were succesfully loading data (delta load) so far for a CRM ODS. Suddenly, yesterday we are getting am error while trying to activate the data. - "No data packet numbers could be determined for request REQU_48C2T4S91I6GSJ4FNUE727M1Y- Message no. RSAODS119".
We could not even see the data in PSA.
Any clues why this would have happened? tRFC issue?

Hi,
What happens is data packets gets distributed across different Instances/Application Servers.
To distribute users equally on SAP Instances check SMLG Transaction and to distribute RFCs equally on SAP Instances check transaction RZ12
To assign specific BW Instance enter the instance in target system settings. In different source systems different fixed target instances can be assigned.
Check Transaction RSCUSTA2 for load balancing for activation of ODS Object data.

One infopackage is loading data to two ODS. It is taking long time and failed with short dump. But if we goto st22 it is not displaying any short dump. I have deleted the red requests from both the data targets and scheduled the infopackage. it is giving the same error.

The normal procedure to correct this error will first to identify if you have the data in PSA between ODS and cube. In that if you have all the data in PSA u can update it to target.
In ur case as u dont have a PSA you may have to force the request to red and delete it from target Cube then go to source ODS find the data mart (Tick mark) Confirm by making that the request that you deleted from Cube is the same as that you are going to reset datamart status in ODS (when you click on the tick mark in ODS a pop up will come asking if you want to reset datamart..there scroll to right it will show the request name in target).If its same delete the datamart status and then Trigger the infopackage again. But better to pull it to PSA only or to both PSA and target so that in case it fails again you can pull it from PSA.
If you had pulled it before resetting data mart and the request is successful but without data then u may have lost delta and may need to do a full repair.

InfoCube to ODS data load

Hi all,
I have created an ODS from an InfoCube. Now, I am trying to
load data from InfoCube to ODS using export DataSource.
I am getting an error while defining the update rule on

How can I add 0RECORDMODE in this situation? Any other solutions?

Hi,
I think this problem remains unanswered.
The issue behind this problem is, during parellel activation the child jobs acknowledge the parent job about status. If the child job takes long time to read data from active data table, then it times out and fails.
Check the primary index on Active data table and it should be missing in your case. See the se11 index or db02 missing indexes. That is the reason that causes time out. Rebuild the primary index by asking your basis folks and repeat the activation. It should succeed.
