Error in operation level result recording

Hi,
I need held; result recording of inspection type =03 (operation level Quality inspection)
A product manufacture via three operations (10, 20, 30)
All operation quality inspection active let operation no-10, all products reject and confirm as rework.
Next operation level quality record is done but confirmation not allow Reason is operation -10, rework quantity, (Actual quantity is more than planned quantity)
How to add the quantity after reworks for next operation quality inspection?
Pl helps me finding the solution.

Hi,
As per your more clearence , As per Example  production order Quanity =1, passes 3 operation10,20,30
Operation=10 require rework as per quality ,
Operation =20 system raise the error message = Operation =10 rework .
If want to operation =10 ok Quantity =1 then system raise error messges =Actual quanity more than planned Quanitity
( 1 Rework + 1 Ok ) .
Supose rework order create and confirm then next 20 & 30 operation how complete .
Real scenerio :- Rework on operation =10 then again Quality check then goes to 20 operation Quality check pass / Rework if rework then again quality pass then goes to next operation level
I hope under stand my problem
Need help- please

  • Runtime error for Inspection Point Results Recording

    Hi,
I am changing the already done Results Recording for using already used Inspection Point.
I am getting the runtime error. Anybody came across such error?
    Regards
    Ramakanth

    Hi,
In the in-process inspection I am using Inspection Points. Initially I have done Results Recording once with quantities.
And then again I wanted to change the quantities for the same Inspection Point. So, I went to Results Recording for same Inspection Point and changed the quantities and saving. At this event I am getting Runtime error.
I  have even deactivated one BADI INSPECTIONLOT_UPDATE and tried again. Even then I am getting same error.
    Ultimately my requirement is this:
My client wants UD at operation level. They want only quantity which is accepted in Results Recording to be moved to the next operation. In the operation level confirmation the system should only accept the quantity which is accepted in Results Recording.
    Any suggestion in this regard.
    Thanks

  • In-process inspection- operation wise result recording sequence

    Hello Everyone,
I have just come across a requirement and would be grateful if someone can help me out in this regard.
    1.     This is make to stock discrete manufacturing scenario.
    2.     Inspection type 03 has been activated in material master.
    3.     The setting in OPK4 are, error if no inspection results exist and error when operation sequence is not adhered to.
    4.     As a result of which I cannot confirm the operation in CO11N unless result recording is done for corresponding operation.
    The requirement,
    1.     User should not be able to carry out result recording for operation 30 unless at least 1 quantity of operation 20 (preceding operation) is confirmed. Likewise it should behave for rest of the operations.
    2.     Practically material is processed for operation 30 only if 20 is confirmed. Therefore operation 30 should be inspected after 20. System allows to input result recording for all the operations irrespective its confirmations.
Is there any standard solution for this or should I go for any exit?
    Thank you,
    Anand Rao

    Hi Sujit,
    Thanks for so prompt response.
I am using inspection point 100. Still it is not restricting. The operation confirmation is done through CO11N and not feasible for users to perform it through QM module.
The logic is, if I try to carry out result recording for operation 30 , system should firstly check whether any confirmation number exists or (at least 1 quantity is confirmed)for previous operation i.e. 20. If not it must stop doing RR for 30 operation.
Whether exits QEEM0011 and QEEM0015 can restrict this, as by their description I think these work after entering RR. Here it is required before RR. Any guesses?
Thank you again for your kind reply.
    Regards,
    Anand
    An addition,
Even though QEEM0011 works before valuation user is able to enter RR. The requirement is user should not enter the any RR irrespecive of valuation. If user enters RR and do not valuate it this exit may not work and eventually can allow to confirm OP30.

  • Results recording

    Hi all,
In "In-process" inspection (03),  while doing the results recording, system gives the following information.
The previous operation has not yet been confirmed
    Message no. QT215
This is an INFORMATION message. Client requirement is to get an ERROR message here, as PP user has not confirmed the previous operation. Please guide me.
    Best Regards
    Sam

    Dear Sam
There is no standard solution for the same nor there is any possiblity of converting the message into error. You will have to do a development.
My suggestions for the development are
    1) BADI : while saving Result Recording : QE_SAVE
If message QT 215 is getting triggered during saving the result recording convert the message into Error or give an error message so that result recording is not saved.
    Or
2 ) Use the same BADI
Get the order Number AUFNR by passing Inspection lot number in QALS. Table
Pass Order Number to CAUFV Table to get Group (PLNNR)
Pass PLNNR in PLPO Table to get Control key STEUS = QM control key  and the corresponding Operation Number VORNR. Check for the operation prior QM control key . Pass the VORNR and order Number A in AFRU table.
If there is an entry in the table then allow Save otherwise error message not allow Save.
    Hope this helps
    Regards

  • Problem in Result Recording

    Dear Guru,
During the production process I am having parallel operations. & All the operation having result recording process. So, I want to make the result recording for different operation simultaneously. So is it possible to make inspection for one production order?  Is there any provision for creating lot for different operation?
Guide me how to do the result recording for the same lot.
    Srinivasan

    Hello Guru,
I too agree with the previous answer. You need to do the result recording for each operations in samples .Since every production order create one inspection lot at a time result recording need to be done for every lot ,by selecting operations and samples. You could check the batch record afterwards for recorded results.

  • Error: Logical end-of-file reached during read operation. Result Code = -39

    Hello all,
Recently, I have been suddenly getting this error message:
"Logical end-of-file reached during read operation. Result Code = -39."
In my case, when it does come up, it always pops up during the recording of an audio take. Almost immediately after hitting the stop button, this error message would pop up. And then when I go to check the take that was just recorded, there is nothing but shrieking noise. As a result, this pop up error trashes any good take I may have had. It's unpredictable as to when this error decides to pop up as well. So now, when I record, I tend to just have my fingers crossed and hope that this error doesn't pop up especially right after recording a good take!
To no avail, I have tried different I/O buffer settings, repaired permissions, rebooted, and even re-formatted my recording hard disk.
Could this be a possible hint that my hard disk is about to physically collapse? I have had it for about 2 years. Could it be some sort of bug in Logic? Or something else perhaps?
Appreciate any feedback! Thanks a lot!

    Thanks for those suggestions Erik...
It's been happening for a month I guess and I don't think that anything new's been installed. I will try recording to the start up disc and to maybe to some USB discs I have.
It seems to happen after working on a project for some time.
After say tracking takes for 45 mins or so. Maybe it's just coincidence, but do you think that might indicate a hardware issue?
Now there might be a clue. What happens when you then quit Logic, reboot your Mac, and reopen the active session? It might be that your disk has become a bit messy from all the traffic, and it just needs to 'settle' in OS X again. Click on the *Spotlight icon* top right of your screen and see if any indexing is taking place. Wait for it to finish before launching Logic.
Alternatively, you could exclude your recording disk from Spotlight indexing alltogether, by dragging the disk to the Privacy field in the Spotlight Sysprefpane.
One other thing to do: turn off Journaling , using *Disk Utility.* Select your recording volume in Disk Utility, hold the alt key while dropping down the File menu. Choose *Disable Journaling.*
On the other hand, it might also point to a RAM issue. Do you ever suffer Kernel panics (=the darkening 'curtain' and the message "You need to restart your Mac... etc")? or 'unexplained' crashes? If not or very rarely, I'ld rule out a RAM issue. If daily, it could be. What you can try in this case is to turn of your Mac and physically take out and reinsert your RAM.
And when you trash (=eject/unmount), physically disconnect and reconnect your recording disk? Does that help? (Logic should not be running when you do this)

  • Error during result recording in QE71

    Hi Gurus,
I am using inspection point (copy of 150) in my inpection plan. When i am trying to save my result recording in QE71 system giving below error message.
Insp. Lot       Oper     Charac. no  Sample                    Message text                                        MsgType Message ID     Msg.No.
    80000000196 0010         10                2     You must enter a text for the characteristic result           E          QE             462       C60
Though i have maintained the resuts.
Please help to resolve this issue.
    Regards

You need check the inspection characteristic's control indicator.
    Transaction QP03 (display inspection plan)
If you set 'Docu. required' in control indicator of inspection characteristic, additional text must always be entered to document the inspection results during results recording for this characteristic.
Try to change the indicator to 'No documentation' then there will be no more that message in transaction QE71.

    Good day

Hey Tristan. Thanks I did that yes.
For some reason my direct MySQL connection does not want to work.

  • Displaying operation long text in results recording screen

    Hi, all!
I am trying to understand why I cannot display the operation long text when in results recording screen (either QE51N or QE01 transaction will not support displaying of operation long text).
I have checked all areas that I could think of in config to see if there is a display setting that will require to be activated and I could not find anything under Results recording, Inspection planning or General settings. I also tried to see if user settings may be making a difference and it did not. The SAP Help portal when talking of long texts available in results recording lists the following: Long texts for inspection lot, inspection method and inspection charcateristic. Nothing about operation long text.
However, the text is printed on the inspection instruction standard form.
SAP Notes has nothing on the subject that I could find.
So, as a last resort, I would like to ask if any other Quality Management specialist came across this and spent any time in determining if this can be done and why the information would not be displayed standard in the transactions. My client would prefer not to have to print the instructions in order to see the entire text. However, I do not see any standard way to have it displayed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you in advance!

    Hi Senthil,
Don't know it will help or not. But if your MIC is qualitative then you can use the long text of catalog code in QS42.
    Please refer below screen,
Click on the which help to maintain the long text.

  • Error while Result Recording-QM

    Dear friends,
While RR for inspection lot I faced this error.
Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot 06000000764
    Message no. QE181
    Diagnosis
You cannot record any characteristic results for this inspection lot. The material master has been set up for the existing inspection type in such a way that results recording is not supported.
    Procedure
Confirm defects for this inspection lot or select another inspection lot in which you can confirm the characteristic results.

    Dear Vipul,
Check the System Status, it will be CRTD.
Now select the material and click on Inspection Lot button.
In this window , click on the Inspection Specification tab.
Now click on the Task List / Spec. button.
If this button now appears fainted after clicking then it is ok, then click on the Sample button , here click on the Smpl. button and this button will shown in fainted look. Now click on the Save button. It will bring you on the main screen of QA32 , now click on the Refresh button , you will notice its Status will change.
If clicked on Task List / Spec. button and it shows an error message that No Inspection Plan Exists , then you will have to make an inspection plan using T-Code QP01. After making the Inspection Plan then follow the above steps.
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • Error while result recording for test equipment

    Dear Gurus
My scenario is to do unplanned maintenance for test equipment and recording the result.
For that I have done the following steps
    1)     Created Notification for the test equipment (customized notification type TE).
    2)     For that notification I created order.  (customized order type TE01).
    3)     Attached General maintenance task list for that order. Task list has inspection point 300.
    4)     Released the order and saved.  Inspection Lot is created.
    5)     In QE51N / QA32 when I tried to do results recording, it shows the following error.
"Equipment VERN01 do not exist in the object list for order 4001214"
Please help me to correct this error.
    Regards
    Babu R

    Hi
I applied oss and today I got reply. When 1278254 notes is implemented it is solved.
I have one more question, now in QE51N, I did result recording and when saved it is asking for order confirmation, I have given all data and came back to the same screen.  There is one more option for Valuate Inspection Point.  In that I have selected Can be used option and saved. Now if I goto maintenance order and TECO the order, it is saying that A usage decision has stll to be made.
Whether I want to take UD once again in QA32 ?
Also is there any settings to TECO the notification automatically when the maintenance order is TECO'ed. Now the notification is not TECO'ed when order is TECO'ed.

  • Result Recording Error

    Dear Gurus,
I am geting the following ERROR
Value can't be interp. as floating-point number or longer than 22 charac.
    Message no. BF020
I have maintain an MICs in the systam as BlankDie,and asigned in the Inspection Plan as my client wants to enter the die size in the Result-Recording.
But when i enter the die size for example: 60/33
    I get above error.
    Regards
    Ram

    Ram
Correct me if I am wrong
You always want to enter something like that 60/30 (means your die size or fixed like 60/30 , 29/15 like that)
If your MIC is Quantitative - then SAP will allow to enter either 60 or 30 and it will not allow you to enter 60/30 or 60by30 because these are all consider as Alphanumeric this is not allowed for MIC's.
for this you need to create catalogs1 and code group and codes
Create MIC as Qualitative and select catalog in QS21.
In Qe51N you can select your predifined codes (means your die sizes like 60/30) if you feel 500 - 600 die sizes it is very difficult to select.then ask your business is't it realy neccesarry for single material inspeciton they want to all size or depends material it may wary. if it is vary better to create more MIC based on that you can split catalog code group and code.
otherwise As i said create one code group and code.
or  if possible if 1 is equal to 30/60 and 2 equal to 70/50 -- something like that is ok then you can use quantitative MIC --- but I don't think your client will accept this?
    this is the only solution
Try this and let me know if you have problem
    Thanks
    Sami
