  • Error in pipeline material creation

    hi,
we want to create one pipeline material as per our new requirement for showing gas consumption.during material creation with mat type PIPE, it's showing an error:The field Profit Center is defined as a required field; it does not contain
    an entry.
    Procedure
If the field is the material group or unit of weight, and the field is not ready for input, check whether the material is locked. If it is locked, you cannot extend the Purchasing view or the Sales view. If either of these views needs to be extended, the material must first be unlocked. This can be done only by a user with special authorization.
    thanx,
    sheetal

    Hi
In your client if Profit center accounting(PCA) is activated ,then you need to maintain the Profit center for the material.
Option 1: goto OMS2, got details of pipleine material & select the Costing View of the material.
Now goto MM01 in creation of pipeline material & maintain the profit center in Cotsing 1 View.
Deactivating the field from mandatory to optional will not serve your purpose as PCA will get affected.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Tomcat+Cocoon : error of pipeline

    Hello,
I've installed Tomcat and Cocoon ; Tomcat works fine but when I want to reach Cocoon (http://localhost:8888/cocoon) I've got the following error :
org.apache.cocoon.ResourceNotFoundException: No pipeline matched request: index.htmlIn the Cocoon documentation ( http://cocoon.apache.org/2.2/core-modules/core/2.2/853_1_1.html ) I understood it's due to the sitemap.xmap but I don't know what I can do to fix it... In my cocoon folder I've a welcome.xml file but not any index.html...
    My configuration :
Apex 3.2 + Oracle HTTP Server
    Tomcat 7.0.8
    Cocoon 2.1.11
I 've followed the very good Carl Backstrom's tutorial ( http://apex.oracle.com/i/carl/apex_cocoon/APEX_TOMCAT_COCOON_viewlet_swf.html ) but I just changed the port of Tomcat (to :8888) to avoid the conflict with HTTP Server one (:8080).
    Thanks!
    Fanny

    Hi,
I think your problem does not relate Apex.
It might best seek help from forums that are specially for Tomcat or Cocoon

  • Error in PIPELINE MATERIAL

Hi Gurus- when i posted PIPELINE MATERIAL in MIGO with  MVT 201+P the following error coming: "Account Dtermination for entry INT KON---PIP not possible". how to resolve this problem?

    Hello
This error is because of not maintaining the g/l accounts for that transaction in Automatic account determination (OBYC).
    goto OBYC
    Select the transaction key KON
Give your chart of account INT
Then give the valuation modifier(valuation grouping code) and/or valuation class and general modifier as PIP and maintain g/l account against that entry.

  • "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA" error while running a package created from C# code

I have gone through most of the answers for similar questions here however none has resolved the issue. We have created a package using C# code which stages data from a source table to destination (ChildPackage.dtsx).
    Source Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2
Destination Table : RowKey, Col1, Col2, RowID, RunID (RowID is an identity column in destination table and RunID is a derived column whose value is set using a variable)
This package runs fine when we execute it directly however, we run these packages from a master package (MasterPackage.dtsx). When we are trying to run the package (ChildPackage) from a MasterPackage we get an error:
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: "Oledb Destination" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA".
We have tried setting DelayValidation to true for the ChildPackage and even tried setting the values for "ValidateExternalMetadata" for the source and destination component as "False" for the data flow task
    of the ChildPackage.
There is no case difference between column names in source and destination and it runs fine when we run the ChildPackage directly.
The only additional task that the Master package performs is to generate and set a variable that is used as RunID value by the child package.
If we hardcode the RunID in the ChildPackage and run it directly, it runs fine.
The MasterPackage.dtsx is not created from code and has a step to run ChildPackage.dtsx. We generate the ChildPackage.dtsx from code and replace in original solution.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Gaurav Agarwal

Where then this RunID is consumed?
    Arthur My Blog
The RunID is set by the MasterPackage in a parameter, this parameter is used as value of derived column in the data transformation task of the ChildPackage.
As mentioned ChildPackage has a RunID column.

The last think I have done, is to grant a new user access to the report server website (by using the site options) and to the root folder (by using the folder options on ws).
But the error must not relate to the new user. The server was not touched for several days before.
Could you plz help me? I have no idea what to do.

I get the following error in visual studio

    Hi Jinantha Perera,
According to the screenshot, when you preview the report, you got System.OutOfMemoryException error.
Based on the error message, this issue occurs when the computer does not have sufficient memory to complete the requested operation. In order to get rid of the problem, please refer to the following steps:
Add sufficient physical memory to the computer
Schedule reports to run at off-hours when memory constraints are lower
    Adjust the MemoryLimit setting accordingly
(Note: When you render a report through the Reporting Services Web service, the Reporting Services Web service obtains the MemoryLimit setting from the Machine.config file. However, a scheduled report is rendered by the Report Server Windows service.
The Report Server Windows service obtains the MemoryLimit setting from the RSReportServer.config file)
Reporting services has a MemoryThreshold, which specifies a percentage ofWorkingSetMaximum that defines the boundary between high and medium pressure scenarios, if you rendering large amount records, you could also configure settings that control memory
allocation for the report server include WorkingSetMaximum, WorkingSetMinimum,MemorySafetyMargin, and MemoryThreshold. Configuration settings are specified in the RSReportServer.config file.

  • Error Handling of Sync/Async Bridge

    Hello,
does the error handling of an sync/async bridge behave exactly as the error handling of a single sync sender?
    Details are the following:
I would like to use the error handling capabilites of a sync step, so that the error handling branch is executed when a permanent pipeline error occurs (this is only possible with a sync send step). However my receiver system can only communicate asynchronously. So the question is, if the first asynchronous send step fails (e.g. error in pipeline processing) normally no error is triggered. Would this be different if the error occurs withing a sync/async bridge?

    Hi Abhishek,
    Thanks for the immediate reply.
    The scenario is
    ERP <---WS/SOAP--->PI -----WS /SOAP of 3rd party---> 3rd Party system (X).
                                                       PI  <------- WS of PI
X posts the data to a backend. THe system X then picks some processed information. This system is not capable of sending the response synchronosly. It can post this data to PI once the data is available. Now PI needs to take this data and post it to the WS request from ERP.
Hope I have provided some clarity on the scenarion..
    Thanks again.

  • [SSIS.Pipeline] Warning: Warning: Could not open global shared memory to communicate with performance DLL

    Hi All,
I am running an SSIS solution that runs 5 packages in sequence.  Only one package fails because of the error:
[SSIS.Pipeline] Warning: Warning: Could not open global shared memory to communicate with performance DLL; data flow performance counters are not available.  To resolve, run this package as an administrator, or on the system's console.
I have added myself to the performance counters group.
I am running windows 7 with SSIS 2008.
Any ideas would be appreciated.  I have read that some have disabled the warning, but I cannot figure out how to disable a warning.
    Thanks.
    Ivan

    Hi Ivan,
A package would not fail due the warning itself, speaking of which means the account executing it is not privileged to load the Perf counters, and should thus be safely ignored.
    To fix visit: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2496375/en-us
So, the package either has an error or it actually runs.

  • Lineage Error

When I try to run SSIS package I got the following error
[DTS.Pipeline]: input column "" (672487) has lineage ID 475474 that was not previously used in the Data Flow task.
"component "Insert Destination" (671788)" failed validation and returned validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA"
    How can I fix it?

I had the same error but I do not have a yellow triangle sign anywhere in my package.  The table structure and data type have all been double checked.   I recreated the data source where the error is pointing to but that did not help. If I
remove that component and debug again, the same type of error for a different column will appear.  Anyone has had similar issues?
    Thanks

  • Ask about an Error in SQL 2014

    Hi all,
I got an error in SSIS package when I upgraded from Sql server 2008 to 2014 as below
I have a format file with "Text qualifier" is "||" and "Column dilimiter" is "|" as below data example and it run well in SSIS 2008. But I got an error after I upgraded to Sql server to 2014 because SSIS 2014 did not
know this kind of format. Is this a bug for new Sql 2014?
As I know, some first releases of Sql server 2008 also had this error and then it's fixed after that. Now, it happen again in new release of Sql server 2014. Is there any fix for that?
Error: "[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED.  The PrimeOutput method on MediaType returned error code 0xC0202091.  The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning
of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure."
    Example data:
    ||MediaTypeID|||||MediaTypeCode||
    ||xxx|||||yyy||
    ||ccc|||||zzz||
    Thanks all.

    Hi khoana,
Based on my research, the issue is caused by the Column Delimiter gets first preference and then Text Qualifier. So the values would be parsed as 10 columns based on the Column Delimiter, lack of Text Qualifier cause the issue. This is by design in SQL Server
    2014.
Personally, I recommend you that submit the requirement at
https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/. If the requirement mentioned by customers for many times, the product team may consider to add this feature in the next SQL Server version. Your feedback is valuable for us to improve our products and increase
    the level of service provided.
