Error in Planning after uploading Hierarchy

Hi!
We have uploaded the Material Hierarchy(For info object 0material) in BW Development system.
When i go to execute planning, after entering inputs, i am getting the Error Message:
"No combination could be generated in step 03"
Msg Number: UPC525
What could be the reason?

Hi Prasad,
you are using a layout based on characteristic value combinations. The combinations are generated based on the characteristic relationships. For the selection criteria of you planning package there are no valid combinations for one of those relationships. Since you changed the material hierarchy check the char.rel. which contains this hierarchy and compare it with the selection criteria of your package.

We are getting the following error while trying to upload the hierarchy from BW to SEM BCS.FYI , Hierarchy is loaded into BW but it still throws an error.

I am loading from BW (0PROFIT_CTR) hierarchy to SEM BCS.
I am loading thru "Load from data stream".
Following are the steps :
1.Selected data type "Consolidation unit"
2.Selected characteristic "Profit Center"
3.In the settings tab,
a) I also maintained "source data basis" with the Infoobject cataloag & I used the same.
b) selected "0profit_ctr" infoobject.
c)also selected the check boxes "load master data" & "load hierarchy".
4)In the mapping tab, selected all the necessary fields and mapped correctly.
5)In the selection tab,maintained controlling area = 1000 .
6)after the steps 1to 5, executed the method.
It gives an error "No hierarchy exists in BW for profit center ".
Can you tell me, do we need to do any other steps before executing the method.

Error message everytime after waking computer

So I bought a new Lenovo ideapad S415 touch a week ago. installed ram from 4g to 8g ddr3. Then I got Windows 8.1 from 8. After I got 8.1 my laptop ran extremely slow then I somehow fixed it by changing some settings and removed some adware. So after I
got 8.1 after I closed my laptop and let it go to sleep if I came back and it came on the screen would be black, but then an error message came up saying the system would have to restart and it would be a different error message every time. Then I guess my
laptop got something bad and I had to redo the whole system and so now were back to windows 8. I'm a bit hard pressed to get 8.1 after all that. If I could figure out the problem I would like to have 8.1 I am actually downloading it again now hoping to look
around some more to fix it. Any ideas?

Sure there are ideas. But since you aren't in the situation where you can re-create "the error" it is impossible to troubleshoot.
I would say the most times I have seen Windows BSOD after a wake from hibernate is due to the computer having an SSD in them and not the appropriate software or drivers. But that is just me.
If you can put Win 8.1 on there again and can get the error, then you could upload the dump files that are created so that others can determine what "the error" is.

How to validate the contents of excel file after uploading it.

                 we have a requirement in which we need to create business transactions with the data in the excel file after it was uploaded. we are creating this transactions(BP,LEAD..) in webui -marketing professional role-external lists. what i have to do is, after uploading the data from excel file, i need to check for the mandatory fields in the data ,if anything is missing then i need to display the error message to the user. i am new to this webclinet frame work. please help me in achieving this functioanlity.any code snippet would be very helpful.

CC app manager update failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%

Trying to update the CC app manager. The update is always very slow (I have ATT DSL, lowest level) and I usually terminate it after an hour or so. Today I let it run and it failed with error code 50 after reaching about 35%. Any ideas?

Update to my original post. I read through some of the suggestions that I found in other threads for fixing this problem, and it appears that this has been an ongoing issue. Numerous fixes have been suggested, some very convoluted, difficult, and involved, including those that came from the customer support folks. I passed on those as this should be something simple. How Adobe manages to let updating of their own software turn into an ongoing problem is beyond me and sort of defeats the purpose of subscribing. I then noticed that a simple fix had been suggested a few times, so I tried that.
The user suggested fix that worked for me was:
1) Restarted computer (Asus Windows 7 i3 machine for me) in Safe Mode with Networking. Logged into my separate Admin account just in case.
2) Started the creative cloud desktop app.
3) The app said it needed to be updated. I hit the update button.
4) Update started and proceeded slowly as it had in many previous failed attempts (I have ATT DSL at the slowest level, but it is not dial-up). Within about 30 min, the update succeeded.
5) Restarted computer in normal mode.
6) The creative cloud desktop app now did not say it needs to be updated, and I can update my other apps normally. Have not updated LR or PS yet, but plan to try. If that fails, I may try doing it in the Safe Mode with Networking.
So, that was relatively painless and much much simpler than many of the other suggestions I saw. Do not know if it will work for everyone, but I wanted to post the fix that worked for me. Thank you very much to the 2 or 3 users who had suggested this fix earlier (sorry, I did not write down your IDs, but the threads can be found by searching for creative cloud desktop update fail error code 50). Hope this saves some people a lot of time.

Issue in .class file in imported archive ESR - after upload using eclipse

Dear Friends,
My requirement here is too change existing java mapping. Here I am exporting zip file from imported archive and after making changes in eclipse upload the .JAR file again. Here .class file is not opening after upload in Imported Archive.
Error is
Setup I am having on my system.
-> JDK version on my system JDK 1.6_34
-> JRE on my system – JRE 6
-> Using eclipse SDK 4.2.2
SAP PI servers settings.
I searched online blogs but no help. Can anybody guide me what wrong am I doing here?

Error 'CoverSize' during Blurb upload

I am trying to upload a book (small square / softcover / ProLine Uncoated, 34 pages) to Blurb. But during this (after the rendering of all the pages, after uploading of the cover and pages, during 'Waiting for Blurb Server Processing) the process stops with an 'CoverSize' error message. No additional information is given.
It happened in LR4 and still does in LR4.1. The cover of my book has one image in full spread, I have read images spreaded over two pages may result in error messages.
Has anyone encountered this as well?

I encountered the very same problem with a 68 page soft-cover book. Blurb tech support was adamant it was a LR problem. Adobe tech support was unable to provide any meaningful assistance. I finally resolved the problem by pursuing Blurb's recommendations of starting a complete new book . Before doing that, I first created a 20 page trial book (the minimum to upload to Blurb) with only one image and it successfully uploaded. That indicated the problem most likely was isolated to the complete book. I then changed the cover page only of the complete book leaving everything else as it was. It too successfully uploaded (The problem version had a two page spread cover whereas the successful one had separate images on each cover. I note this as others have suggested some issues with two page spreads).
The trial book should be the first effort as if successful, it will eliminate the need to follow Adobe's suggestions of: deleting and recreating LR preferences (that was to no avail); and uninstalling and reinstalling LR (one I elected not to do).

Error in data loading of hierarchy 0GL_ACCOUNT

Dear experts,
I have one issue related to the hierrachy data loading. I have one info object 0GL_ACCOUNT on which i activated the hierarchy data source 0GL_ACCOUNT_T011_HIER. When i start to upload the data for hierarchy i got an error message :
Error in the hierarchy structure
Node [00000020, 00000017 ]: Leaf '1000 ' already exists as child of node 00000014
Please help me out from this problem.
I also searched SDN for the same issue, but get the solution.

Its not a daily delta load, its a full load & i am working on this info object hierarchy for the first time. it successfully uploads the data in devt system but not on other ones. Also I have checked with the r/3 system, the hierarchy is correct there.
When i uload the hierarchy upto PSA level, it does not show any error, but if i upload it till info object it displays an error message as in first thread.
What to do??

Error in Planned value Book depreciation in AS03

Hello,
We have 3 fiscal periods namely 2009, 2010, 2011. The assets are bought in the fiscal year 2009 and should be depreciated following a straight line method.
In May 2010, it was decided that the depreciation key for a depreciation area XXX should be modified from LINE to LINZ (that is from straight line to straight line with VMR 75%).
The errors that occured after this modification are:
1) Even though we are in fiscal year 2011, the planned value Book depreciation table for fiscal year 2011 is empty .
2) At the start of the year 2009, the asset has a scrap value of 3549,33 eur. This should not be the case since when an item is bought it only has an acquisition value and no scrap value.
3) Even though there has been a change in the depreciation key and the NBV has been decreasing over the years, the depreciation value in fiscal year 2010 is similar to the depreciation value on the fiscal year 2009.
We are trying to reproduce this error but we are unable to do so as we are not aware of the FI closure steps to be carried out.
Can you please share any ideas in case you have encountered a similar situation?

There are many reasons to it.
1) If the FYV is a non-standard one, please ensure that periods have been configured for future years.
2) Try executing AFAR (Recalculate depreciation).

Hi Madhuri,
Please check the following in BW BPS Server:
- Check whether the campaign related planning profile is activated from Client-000 of BW system and transport to client-800
- After activating the planning profile in Client 000 and transporting it to Client-800. Goto transaction bps0 in BW system and select the planning profile tree. Right click on it and set the profile.
Also check the following things in BW:
- Maintain the master data for Business Partners in BW, if not maintained the load the master data for BP as well as products using the normal BW process:
1.     Activate the data source in CRM system and replicate in BW system.
2.     Assign the data source to info source and activate the transfer rules.
3.     Create the Infopackage and load the data.

BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload

Hi, I have implemented the "BI-Integrated Planning: File Upload" paper and it seems to work fine.
Whatever "Version" is in the delimitied file gets loaded just fine. (New Version gets created in master data) So if version 999 is in the file the new version 999 get created with no master data issues. But, when I try to load a file with a material that doesn't exist in Master Data, I get errors about the material not existing. We need to have the upload allow new materials..
I am wondering if it Is the InfoObject Conversion Routine that causes the error, but if that was the case we wouldn't be able to load new materials in our regular loads.
Why does the file upload app allow you to create a new version, but not a new material?
Any ideas?

I found out that a new characteristic value can be created for characteristics with no Master Data Table.
I.E. 0VERSION can have a new value
I.E. 0MATERIAL cannot have a new value

Run Time Error when trying to select hierarchy node

the situation is the following:
i attempt to create a variable of type "hierarchy node" (for cost center cha) in my planning area, i used the replacement type "user defined value", check on "input allowed by user" and then i create the user entry, in selection condition i run match code and when i try to select a single cost center (not a hierarchy node) expanding the hierarchy tree the system goes dump with the following message:

Selecting a hierarchy node (not a single cost center but a text node grouping more cost conter) this problem does not occur.

I'm assuming you are creating a Point-to-Site VPN Connection, for which the steps would be:
Configure a Virtual Network and a Dynamic Routing Gateway.
Create your Certificates.
Configure your VPN Clients.
So to answer your question, you would upload the root certificate before you create the client VPN Package.

Podcasts 2&3 not playing after upload by FTP to server?

On G-4, OS Tiger, Web site was created in iWeb 1.1.2 and worked with videos and audio podcast #1. Over internet, Podcasts #2 and #3 will not play- player bar does not show up (Just tiny question mark) after upload by FTP using Transit to Network Solutions server. Moved iWeb file to Mac Pro, OS Leopard, using iWeb '08, I recreated podcast pages and republished entire site: all pages look great, but I still have the same problem! I have tried uploading just podcast related files, uploading the entire site files, both zipped and not zipped. I always get this problem. Web site: www.calaverasgold.tv
Site media- videos and audio podcasts work fine in Safari browser on my computer, but player is not working one some files when site is accessed via internet. Please help. I need to produce a weekly podcast and I need to have them working. Thank you.

Yup. I am glad it is working just fine.
I erased all the files in the server and upload them to a new created folder.
I think the error was actually coming from the redirect. Somehow when I played around with changing .htaccess code if was able to style my website correctly.
