Error in Planning refresh

Hi,
I updated my planning dimension so I was trying to refresh database. But I throw an error at step 9 of 33.
Error->
Step 9 of 33: [Financia] Adding members to dimension Version.
com.hyperion.planning.olap.EssbaseException: 1st Pass (1060051)
then I check application log file which has following error.
[Mon May 07 14:45:21 2012]Local/Test2/Financia/admin@Native Directory/3844/Error(1023069)
Location alias WFCube already exists
Please help me to solve this issue.

The same error has been logged elsewhere on the forums, but occurred under slightly different circumstances...
Unable to do some actions with EPMA application
Suggestions include increasing a timeout setting or checking drive space where the refresh hits.....might not be helpful in your case though.....

Thanks for the prompt reply..
I checked the error code *1042006* in esb_err_msgs PDF, it showing the errors as "*Network Error message: Unable To*
*Connect To serverName. The client*
*timed out waiting to connect to the*
*Essbase Agent using TCP/IP. Check*
*your network connections.*"
But, i am getting different errors in planning. As you suggested, i checked all the member formula. Its validating fine.
I confused here, which i have to follow John...

Error from EAS - "refreshing security from Shared Services failed"

Hi,
I was using Native only security in HSS for Essbase 11.1.1.3 and EAS allowed me to Refresh security from Shared Services. (Essbase security was already externalized to HSS.)
However, after I added "MS Active Directory", and provisioned a MSAD user to a native Planning group, EAS errors out with "refreshing security from Shared Services failed" .
I checked Essbase security and that MSAD user is not added to Essbase.
From Essbase Log I see:
Essbase failed to get roles list for [ESB:Analytic Servers:servername:1] from Shared Services Server with Error [32:1062:Failed to connect to the user directory [ HSS'sMSADname].
I then tried to remove MSAD from our H Shared Services and see if this problem goes away. However, MSAD still shows on the left panel menu in H Shared Services. How can I get rid of MSAD?
Any suggestions?

Hi,
Are you sure you have removed it from shared services, you may have just disabled it.
You must restart the shared services application server to apply any changes made.

Error creating planning locations from eas console

Hi,
I am getting the following error when trying to create new location that point to planning apps from EAS. I was able to see the servers listed under planning. But when clicking on that it displays the following error.
"Error connecting to planning server" I looked in the EAS logs and saw the error
" error connecting planning server 11333"
I tested telnet connection from EAS server to planning server and it worked fine.
I checked the HBRServer properties file location on planning server and looks good.
Is there anything else I need to look.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention.
I followed the steps in the document.
Logged into every app from planning web.
Logged into EAS -> right click Administartion and refresh users.
Then tried. But getting the same error.
I also checked the planning logs and it clearly mentions "Planning connected to HBR repository successfully".

Error -2147218798 when refreshing Essbase

Hi,I try to refresh a outline in a Planning application and I have this error message :"Cannot refresh cubes while other users are logged on" I then disconnected every user, stopped and started the application but i does not change anything...What do you think of this ?Thank youPierre

It is probably a lock on the Planning Db rather than a user in Essbase still logged on. Run the unlockdb utility on your planning server under Planning\utils. It will unlock the planning relation database. You should be able to run the refresh then.Let me know how you get on.RegardsChris

Planning error : hyperion.planning.DuplicateUserException

I am unable to log into planning app after we refreshed our test sqlserver with prod data. I get the followeing error
hyperion.planning.DuplicateUserException: Another user with the name hypadmin already exists.
com.hyperion.planning.HspRuntimeException: Failed to sync with user provisioning.
any ideas ?
I have tried updating the sid value in HSP_USERS table with the old values -- no luck.
Please help.

Sounds like you have not done the migration correctly.
I take it hypadmin is the application owner and a native user.
If so you should store the correct native sid on your test environment.
Have a look at a working planning app on your test environment, go into the relational tables
look at table HSP_USERS and store the sid for id 50001
Update the other planning app in your test environment with the correct stored sid in the same table.
Restart planning.
Also run the updateusers utility in the planning bin/utiliites directory.
Its much easier if you create planning applications with the default admin account as the sid stays the same across environments.

i found a solution for the Problem in another Forum

The suggestion is
1. change the Member from Dynamic Calc to Store
2. Refresh (After these Step the Formulas where still out of sync)
3. change the Member from Store to Dynamic Calc
4. Refresh
After these Steps the Formulas are in sync again.

"Error determining planning periods for calendar " when running a program

Hi,
When i am running a program with date range say "01/05/2011" to "30/06/2011",the program is executing successfully without any error. When i am executing the same program with date range as a) "01/05/2009" to "30/06/2011" and b)"01/05/2008" to "30/06/2011" the program is failing with error as "Error determining planning periods for calendar". Can anyone suggest me what i should do to avoid the failure of the program with above date ranges also.

Error message 61123:"Error determining planning periods for calendar &".The PPC planning calendar specified in the material master MRP 2 view for the material is incorrectly.
The planning calendar periods are insufficiently maintained for the planning calendar used.
Check the period of planning calendar in MD26 and generate the correct period.You can avoid the problem in several ways:
Maintain the planning calendar far enough in the future (at least until beyond the end of the planning horizon).
Also check any demand is lies beyond the validity period of planning calendar.
Reduction of the planning horizon of MRP also can control such issue, as MRP planning horizon lies in an area in which the planning calendar is no longer maintained

Error in Cache Refresh(Unable to refresh cache contents)

When i am refreshing Cache from the browser using link CPACache/refresh?mode=full it says success.
When i do from SXI_CACHE it gives an error.

The reason why it's still using SYS_RBS seems to be that since you are refreshing a materialized view, it might be doing parallel DMLs. In this case the clause of specifying a particular rollback segment is ignored.
In addition to the above, try taking the rollback segment offline by executing
alter rollback segment SYS_RBS offline;
and then drop it by running
drop rollback segment SYS_RBS;
Then create new one and see if it works.
if the above mentioned doesn't work somehow...
try to change the extents storage parameter by running
alter rollback segment sys_rbs storage (MAXEXTENTS 1000);
Can't be sure as i currently don't have access to my system

While selecting the Infopackage to run the INIT load, it is taking me to the ECC login screen. Once i enter my credentials, its showing a dump with the message:

Dear all expert
I have created one BPM scenario after when execute that scenario then problem come in cache
Before that scenario my Pi working fine now.
I have delete communication channel of BPM scenario but still facing problem in cache .
I have done following step for solving problem
I have delete HMI rfc and recreate it when I test that RFC connection every time it will ask password I have already set login name (PIISUSER) and password in login tab
I have found some entry in queue I have delete it

Hi Madhuri,
Please check the following in BW BPS Server:
- Check whether the campaign related planning profile is activated from Client-000 of BW system and transport to client-800
- After activating the planning profile in Client 000 and transporting it to Client-800. Goto transaction bps0 in BW system and select the planning profile tree. Right click on it and set the profile.
Also check the following things in BW:
- Maintain the master data for Business Partners in BW, if not maintained the load the master data for BP as well as products using the normal BW process:
1.     Activate the data source in CRM system and replicate in BW system.
2.     Assign the data source to info source and activate the transfer rules.
3.     Create the Infopackage and load the data.
