  • Error 513 while raising the message from satellite system

    Hello All,
    When I try to send message(Service desk) from satellite system, i get following message
    "Because of error 513, no message was creat
    Support Desk System"
    I gusses there is some problem with authorisation.
    please guide how can I fix this issue.
    Regards,
    Shyam.

    Hi Gurus,
    I have assigned customized action profile to SLFN transaction.
    When I try to send message(Service desk) from satellite system, I get following message
    "Because of error 513, no message was created
    Support Desk System"
    But when we check in crm_dno_monitor , the message is created at the backend,but without assigning external number range.
    Whenever I am making any modification in action profile, it is creating the first messgae after restart
    of SAP Solman System, but for next message, Error 513 message is raised and message is created at backend without assigning external number to it
    I think there is some problem in number range or buffer in number range
    Can some one help me in this

  • Error FF 711 raised during posting of items in FI-AP

    Hello Friends,
    we are getting error message FF 711 when
    trying to post from the ICM module into FI-AP using the
    BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_POST funcation Module.
    We have both service tax and withholding tax calculation switched on
    and everythings seems to work fine, except in case the document
    includes both debit and credit items.
    Payable 1000 INR withholding and service tax is applicable
    Receivable - 950 INR withholding tax not applicable, service tax
    applicable
    so we end up with the following line items on the document, including
    the tax lines:
    1000
    - 100 WHT
    - 40 Service Tax (4%)
    - 63 Service Tax (6.3%)
    - 900
    + 36 Service Tax (4%)
    + 56.70 Service Tax (6.3)
    overall - 10.3
    For some reason, as soon as the overall document value is just barely
    negative error FF 711 is getting raised.
    In case we post each of the items seperatly, or have a positive
    balance, all is working correctly.
    Please do me needful.
    Regards,
    Satya Vani.

    find the Attachment for the error message.
    I am assuming this error is calling from some where not from my code.
    Please suggest me any Badi or other way to restrict the save of the Campaign.
    Thanks in Advance....
    Regards
    vam's

    Hi I am actually trying to prevent the saving by using the BADI and putting
    ev_reject_save = abap_true.
    Nevertheless the campaign is saved with errors...any idea how to prevent this ?

  • Error should be raised immedietly

    Hi!!
    I am using jdeveloper 11.1.1.5
    I had a small use case in which i had dragged and dropped my EmpContDetVO as my af:table.
    In which i have two fields such as startdate and enddate . If the user enters the enddate which is smaller than the startdate then the error occurs successfully when user tries to hit Save Button [Commit operation].
    But i need to raise error immediatly when the user tries to navigate to other field.
    Whether it is possible without using javascript. Could anyone can give me suggestion with appropriate documents

    Thank you sameera!!
    I had used this code in my AMImpl Method
       public void checkdate (){
            ViewObject vo = this.getPurAdminView1();
            Row vor = vo.getCurrentRow();
            Calendar cf = Calendar.getInstance();
            Calendar ce = Calendar.getInstance();
            java.util.Date startdate;
            java.util.Date enddate;
                startdate = convertDomainDateToUtilDate((Date)vor.getAttribute("PuraDateFrom")); //Returns the value
                enddate = convertDomainDateToUtilDate((Date)vor.getAttribute("PuraDateTo"));  //Returns the value
                cf.setTime(startdate);
                ce.setTime(enddate);
                if (cf.after(ce)){
                    throw new JboException ("Start date is greater than EndDate");
        }I had called this method using the validator
    public void cil13_actionListner(FacesContext facesContext, UIComponent uIComponent,
                                 Object object) {
                BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
                OperationBinding operationBinding =
                    bindings.getOperationBinding("checkdate");
                Object result = operationBinding.execute();
        }The null pointer Exception actually occurs in Calendar.java
        public final void setTime(Date date) {
            setTimeInMillis(date.getTime()); //Null Pointer Exception
        }Main Theme of my concept i need to check whether enddate is greater than startdate if not the error must be thrown immedieatly i.e., if user navigates to another field
    @@Suresh--Thank you for your reply suresh But both of the startdate and enddate will be entered by the user.

  • Error raised using 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT' not displayed in Web UI

    Hello,
    I have implemented the badi CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI and based on certain conditions i raise an exception and display the error message using function module 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT'. The application log is populated with the error message and I am able to see the error message in SAP GUI . However when the same transaction is triggered via WebUI , even thought the exception is raised , the error message is not displayed.
    I know i can use the method ADD_MESSAGE of the class CL_CRM_GENIL_GLOBAL_MESS_CONT if i want the error message to be displayed in Web UI .
    However I want the message to be displayed either if the transaction is run from the SAP GUI or web UI .
    Have anyone come across the similar situation , is there something I am missing.
    Thanks & Regards ,
    Sriram.

    Hello Arun ,
         I got the solution . The error message was raised properly . The problem is  message filter at every view or viewset of a component is actually switched off by default.With standard components the filter gets activated at runtime if the component controller contains a BOL entity.
    In our case , since it was a custom component with no BOL entity the filter was switched off and hence the messages from the application level were not read.
    Therefore we redefined the filter method IF_BSP_WD_STATE_CONTEXT~GET_MESSAGE_FILTER at the view/viewset level and turned on the filter by default.hence even if the component does not return an entity the message filter gets activated.
    Thanks for your inputs.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sriram

  • How can i get the error message from the thrown/raised exception?

    Want Stored Procs to get exectuted regardless of preceeding SPs Success or
    I have a package with several functions and procedures inside.I created a caller procedure called callProcs, which will execute various procedures within the package in the appropriate order.
    In the below example i cannot get the error message thrown from line 20
    create or replace package body mypackage
    is
    variable_proc1 number;
    variable_proc2 number;
    variable_proc3 number;

    select 8/0 into variable_proc1 from dual;
    exception
              when others
              then raise my_exception; ----line 20
    end;
    procedure proc2
    is
    begin
    select 1 into variable_proc2 from dual;
    exception
              when others
              then
                   null;
    end;
    procedure proc3
    is
    begin
    select 3 into variable_proc3 from dual;
    exception
              when others
              then
                   null;
    end;
    Procedure caller_proc
    is
    begin
    proc1;
    proc2;
    proc3;
    v_result:=variable_proc2+variable_proc3;
    dbms_output.put_line('The output is '||v_result);
    exception
              when my_exception
              then
    dbms_output.put_line('Heyyyyy the error is '||SQLERRM); -- exception caught at line 64 of caller proc
    end;
    end mypackage;
    When i try executing the caller proc, i don't get the error. Instead i get the text User-Defined Exception as shown below
    set serveroutput on
    exec mypackage.caller_proc;
    Heyyyyy the error is User-Defined Exception
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.Edited by: user10633418 on Mar 10, 2009 11:30 PM

    Thank you justin.
    Sorry my earlier post was a bit ambiguous.
    I wanted the error generated at proc1 to be captured at caller proc's Exception handling section (line 64) so that i could log the error to an ERR_LOG table.
    I can actually log this error at proc1 itself like
    exception
    when others
    THEN
    error_message :='My custom message for the particular proc '||SQLERRM;
    dbms_output.put_line(error_message);
    logerror(error_message); --an autonomous error logging proc
    raise;But there is a RAISE statement in proc1's exception handling, so the exception gets propogated to caller proc's exception handling section {color:#ff0000}*and another redundant row will be created at ERR_LOG table for the same error because there is a*{color}
    logerror(error_message);--an autonomous error logging proc
    in the WHEN OTHERS section of exception handling section of the caller proc
    I want to avoid the creation of this redundant row in ERR_LOG table.

  • Raise Application Error on Dynamic Action

    Hi
    I am using Apex 4.2. On a click of button a Dynamic Action is written, which calls a DB Package. The DB package has exception handlers and also the package has two output parameters
    Error Code and Error Msg
    So in my code(Dynamic Code) i make a call to the package and checks the value for Erroc Code.
    Begin
    Package call......
      If v_error_code <> '0' Then
        Raise SC_Error;
      End if;
    Exception
      When SC_Error Then
        RAise_Application_error(v_err_code, v_err_msg);
    End;
    But when i run the page and I click I get an Internal exception error
    Output from Debug -- I am not sure what the Cell in Red colour means, because the package is returning a correct message (before the red line).Can anyone help please??
    Thanks

    Edit: Well, Patrick beat me to the punch because I was taking my jolly time writing this down
    Well, if you look below the part you put in red, you can see that a callout is made: ...Execute Error Handling Callout defined on Page or Application Level
    With directly below that:
    ......Values changed by callout:
    4
    .........message: An unexpected internal application error has occurred. Please get in contact with your system administrator and provide reference# for further investigation.
    Since the plsql call is on the serverside, this error is trapped within the error handling function aswell. Your error has simply been obscured by it, and probably because it looks at the error backtrace and determines the error is internal.
    Looking at the sample error handling code, this is probably where it goes "wrong":
    -- If it's an internal error raised by APEX, like an invalid statement or
      -- code which cannot be executed, the error text might contain security sensitive
      -- information. To avoid this security problem rewrite the error to
      -- a generic error message and log the original error message for further
      -- investigation by the help desk.
      if p_error.is_internal_error then
    I recreated the situation here, and put some debug in the error handling function just so I could see what sort of error is being processed:
        apex_debug.message('error code: '||p_error.apex_error_code);
        apex_debug.message('sql code: '||p_error.ora_sqlcode);
        apex_debug.message('sql errm: '||p_error.ora_sqlerrm);
        apex_debug.message('error_backtrace: '||p_error.error_backtrace);

    As you can see, the ajax error is an internal error, and that is why it is handled as such in the error handler. With this info you should be able to adjust your handling function. Test for the error code (APEX.AJAX_SERVER_ERROR) and then throw the error message or test for the -20000 range of custom errors for example.
        if p_error.is_internal_error then
            -- Access Denied errors raised by application or page authorization should
            -- still show up with the original error message
            -- do not parse ajax server errors here !
            if    p_error.apex_error_code <> 'APEX.AUTHORIZATION.ACCESS_DENIED'
              and p_error.apex_error_code not like 'APEX.SESSION_STATE.%'
              and p_error.apex_error_code != 'APEX.AJAX_SERVER_ERROR'
            then
    It probably does need some more work but you should get the gist of it.
