How do I add text boxes that people can edit font type, size, and color in Adobe Reader? I am using Acrobat Pro XI.

It is possible. Add your text fields and in their Properties set them to have Rich Text Contents (under Options). This will allow the users to specify all kinds of formatting settings for those fields (by pressing Ctrl+E and using the Properties bar).

    Hello Prasad,
As we are talking about JavaScript errors, it is interesting to know which browser and OS you are using?

  • Composing e-mail - Font type & size

My apologies if I 'can't see the woods  for the trees'. Must be my age. I'm not sure how to select font type & sizes when composing e-mails. I did have that option but may have inadvertently corrupted it somehow??  It would be ideal if the compose e-mail window was designed exactly similar to the current screen which I'm now using to post this topic. Font Family, Font Size, with drop down selection would definitely help.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    No worries donm41,
Sounds like you have it set up in Plain Text format.
    Try this.
To change back to HTML format follow the steps below.
    1) Login and compose an email.
    2) Select the Options menu under the email Subject input box (highlighted with red in the image below)
    3) A drop down menu will appear, go to the Format option and select HTML from the dropdown box. (highlighted with red in the image below)
    4) Click Yes when the Confirm dialog box appears.(highlighted with red in the image below)
The HTML text options should now appear.
    Hope that works.
    Cheers

  • How do I change the font, size and format of tab labels?

I didn't say double-click on the tab. I said double-click on the tab selector's text. You need to use the "hand" tool if you have "Lock automatic tool selection" off in your LabVIEW options.

Thank you for approving my feed iTunes . The only problem is, there is no art work, even though artwork was submitted correct sizes and formats were used. Why is this and how can the problem be rectified?

Thanks for getting back. Hadn't got round to re uploading the amended feed. I just did it now.
The only thing is, Feed Validator doesn't like it because of the picture size, and a couple of other things, it reeds the following:
    Sorry
    This feed does not validate.
    line 22, column 14: width must be between 1 and 144: 1400 [help] <width>1400</width>
                  ^

In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.
Your feed appears to be encoded as "utf-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII" [help]

  • Multiple size and format exports

Is there a way to hit the export button on a selection of images one time and produce multiple sizes and formats of each image? Maybe an automator script.
It would speed things up if you didn't have to go back and choose a different format from the drop down list and start the export over again for each different size that you need.

I was just doing something similar recently, I agree it would be nice to have something easier to do just this...
I think the simplist way would actually be to write an export plugin using the new Export API, it would be truest to what you are probably trying to produce (I was creating a series of different resolutions of the same image for a web page). It would be trickier though.

  • Type size and property presets?

I ran across a video or article a while back and can't seem to find.  Here is what I'm trying to accomplish and maybe some tips/links from the Forum can help this fron-end designer out!
building site pages via Photoshop for markup development, it sucks having to always pull down the font drop-down and select the font, tab to the size and change, kerning, etc.....
Is their a "most used" or "presets" for composition.  Also if their maybe any other "web design" specific little hidden gems like that in CS6, I'm all ears.
    thanks for any help!!

  • Cross Tab Size and Formatting

    Good Day To All,
I have 3 Cross tab that fit perfectly on one page, but when it was created the user used an incorrect field as its columns.
When I change the column field to the correct field the Cross-Tab increases in size shifting the last cross tab to another page.
How can I keep the original size. I've tried To lock position and size but that does not work. I also tried using format painter but that only works on fonts size. I am unable to re-size the cross tab in design mode. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    David

    hi David,
unfortunately there are no properties in a cross-tab to keep it the same overall width if the number of column instances changes. the Size and Position dialogues for Width and Horizontal Position (X) also do not apply to cross-tabs.
the only thing that you can do is to decrease the width of the column cell and if the output no longer fits in the width of the cell then you'll also need to decrease the font size.
there is another workaround by limiting the number of records returned to a group. please see my blog post here in particular the section "Formatting a Cross-tab to Have N Rows & M Columns".  this is not an easy task either as the data coming in must be a precise match for the number of rows X the number columns that are required. this is explained further in the blog.

  • Image size and format for IMovie

I am trying to make a short stop motion animation in IMovie. I have made my images in Adobe illustrator. I transfer the images into IMovie as JPEGS.the images, which are basically line drawings, look sharp and clean but as soon as you watch them as moving pictures they become broken up.
what am I doing wrong? does this have to do with my image size or format?

iDVD will try to downsize the image to work, but your TV often will overscan with the result being edges clipped off. The amount of clipping can vary, so the "TV Safe" settings will typically be the center 80-90% of the image. So, if you add a border that makes the image 10-15% larger, that should display the whole image. For example, if you had a 150 dpi image that was 640x480, you could put a 10% border on it so the final image was 704x528.

  • Display size and formatting

My father, who is completely computer illiterate, managed to change the display on all three of our family accounts on our iMac. Whereas webpages and programs were once crisp and formatted correctly (ie the New York Times online looked like the proper newspaper), everything, from the font on the top bar to the icons at the bottom and fonts on webpages, is now much larger and out of focus. Safari windows are now too large to properly fit on the screen (usually the right side is cut off) and there are fewer tiled images on my background. I have checked everywhere in Preferences and in the online help- does anybody know how to restore the display settings to their defaults?

    Hi
System Preferences>Displays>Display is where you can change the resolution of your screen.
Also, you can zoom in on webpages & other windows by using your mouse's scroll wheel whilst holding down ctrl key.
Have a look in System Preferences>Universal Access>Seeing & check that Zoom isn't activated (Cmd-Alt-8 is shortcut).

    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == a few upgrades ago

    Hum...
Well, first of all, let me make it clear that plugins (a type of add-ons accessed through ''Tools > Add-ons > Plugins'') are not directly controlled by Firefox. They can only be enabled and disabled in Firefox, but not installed and uninstalled. So you'll need to be aware of them too. Running safe mode to disable add-ons will cover those, though.
If you've covered plugins as a possible source of the problem, have you tried creating a new temporary Firefox profile ([http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles managing profile])? If you've re-installed Firefox completely (deleting your data), you've basically done this, except you've deleted your own profile unnecessarily (unfortunately).
If the new profile has the same problem, check your Firewall/antivirus/security suite settings. Some software (like external ad blockers) may block certain parts of the web. I don't know if that's the case here, but it's conceivably possible. I believe Mac OS provides a safe mode for the operating system. If you can run Firefox while in safe mode of your Mac OS, and Firefox still has the same problem, you know it's not a problem with third party software or with your operating system.
Have you contacted the site's owner to ask them if this is a known issue for them? It's possible that the site itself is simply not working with Firefox, for whatever reason...
