Error in project creation using Netweaver studio

Hi all,
I am trying to create a new Composite Application Services project using Netweaver studio 7.011. When it came to the final step of the Project creation wizard, an error message pop-up saying "Problem when creating project".
I have tried the methods posted in the forums, but its doesn't work for me.

Can advise on how to resolve this?
I am currently using Java 1.4.10 and NW2004s SP11.

Does anybody know how can I debug my local IPC using NetWeaver studio? I tried to launch dispatcher.bat or server.bat from NetWeaver but gives out the error.

Hi, what exactly do you want to do ? I suppose that your IPC application is not meant to be run locally, so if you want to do this, you will need to create a new Java Class that can be run locally (so it needs to be a class that have the "public static void main(String[] args)" method in it). For more info, see Sun web site.
Then you should be able to call the different methods of the IPC application.
And to debug, you need to go to the Debug perspective, and create a new debug session for your application and place some breakpoint where needed.

Problem in multi master replication creation using DBA Studio -- replication

I am trying to create multi master replication using DBA studio but facing following problem at the time of master group creation.
ORA-04052 error occured when looking up remote object SYS.SYS@CBOLDATA
ORA-00604 error occured at recursive SQL level 2
ORA-01017 invalid username/password, logon denied
ORA-02063 preceding line from CBOLDATA
If you want to know how I am trying the whole thing then here is the way I am doing comfiguration.
First I have created master site which is created successfully.
Here I have used two database named UPP817 & CBOLDATA
Step of master site creation is followed like this.
1. Master Site addition (Added both UPP817 & CBOLDATA using SYSTEM username)
2. Default User (No change is done, Default schema and password taken)
3. Master Site Schema (Added SCOTT/tiger)
4. Scheduled Link (No change is done, Default values taken)
5. Purge (No change is done, Default values taken)
6. Finished successfully
Master group creation there is three option available
1. General (Only value of Name is given)
2. Object (No object added)
3. Master Sites (It takes UPP817 by default as a master defination site then as a Master Site I have added CBOLDATA)
when I pressed on Create It gives me the error listed above.

Create public database link at master site database for CBOLDATA.
Also see that you are using SNMP protocol and Oracle Pipe at both
databases. This will be usefull while making replication from remote
place.

I am getting below error while deploying solution from Visual Studio. I have verified the URL and its okay and site is also up and running and accessible.
Error 1 Error occurred in deployment step 'Recycle IIS Application Pool': Cannot connect to the SharePoint site:
http://portal/sites/site1/. Make sure that this is a valid URL and the SharePoint site is running on the local computer. If you moved this project to a new computer or if the URL of the SharePoint site has changed since
you created the project, update the Site URL property of the project.
Suggest some solution.

Please do/Validate the below things..
1.Current logged in user is in Administrator group
of SharePoint server.
2.Current logged user has db_owner permission for Content
Database of the site you are trying to deploy .

Do a IIS reset
Check if IIS is resetting.
If it is not, then disable UAC from control panel and IIS reset will work.
Go to Central Administration site
Navigate to the Manage Web Applications page
Click on the web application that hosts the site you are trying to deploy to
Click the User Policy ribbon item.
Add your windows account to the list of users with the Full Control permission.

Error in starting server from NetWeaver Studio

I get the following error when i start the server from NetWeaver studio. Any reason why this error pops up.
Problem Occurred:
Startting Server - SAP Server E<24> (Time of error.....)
Reason :
JsfOpenAdmin failed: object not found.
However I can start and stop the server from the management console.

Maybe when you are on netweaver studio, the instance number passed is the java one instead of the abap instance one :

I get the following error when i start the server from NetWeaver studio. Any reason why this error pops up.

Error in db conn using HFR Studio

Hi Folks,
I'm getting the following error msg while trying to establish a new db connection on HFR Studio:
*"Error connecting to database connection Sample: Sample"*
I'm using the following values in DB Connection Properties:
DB Connection Name: Sample
Type: Essbase
Server: axe
UserID: hypuser
Password: password
Application: Sample
Database: Basic
I have made sure that my Sample:Basic application is started using EAS. I am also able to access Sample:Basic fine via Excel Addin and Smartview, but when I try to create a new db conn. using HFR Studio or Workspace and the above conn values, I get either the +"Error connecting..."+ msg or a +'Null'+ error msg in case of Workspace.
Could this problem have something to do with user privileges? I have one Admin user that I've provisioned on SS for all available roles, including all Hyperion System 9 BI+ roles. Also my hosts file has proper mapping between +'axe'+ and host IP address. I even tried using localhost instead of axe, but to no avail. Do I need to specify a port number following the server name? I have also tried re-starting all Hyperion services in the prescribed order, but this doesn't help either. Fyi- my db is Oracle 10g XE.. and I have given +'hypuser'+ all possible privileges
Appreciate any guidance. This is the first time I'm working w/ HFR.

I get the same connection error even I try using admin / password instead of hypuser / password. Could my problem be due to not having externalized 'hypuser' in EAS? Does HFR need Hypuser to be externalized and provisioned in shared services in order to use Hypuser in a db connection ? I know this isn't true for Excel Addin or Smartview, but may be HFR works differently in this respect?

Can't open Zend Project files using Zend Studio

Hi there,
I've been in contact with Zend about this issue but they assure me that they don't have this problem with their Mac's and no other Mac user has reported this fault.
So here I am asking in the only other logical place I can think of.
Basically I want to double click on a Zend Project File (.zpf) and have it open in Zend Studio.
The first time I tried setting the desired application to ZDE.app it came up with an unknown error I think it was -10814? And each subsequent time I try to open the project file I get Zend Studio telling me it is an unrecognized file type.
If you could give me any suggestions or leads to follow I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok, when you say you tried setting the desired application to ZDE.app ... have you tried this?
To open a document with a specific application:
In the Finder, select the document and choose File > Get Info.
In the Info window, click to show the "Open with" pane.
Choose the application you want to use from the pop-up menu.
If you want all documents that have the same file type as this one to open with the same application, click Change All.

Invalid Owner error preventing project creation in PWA but not ProjectPro

Greetings,
I get the following error when trying to create a new project in PWA using one of our template plans:
Datasets:
ProjectDataSet
Table Assignment
Row: ASSN_UID='c5cd689e-3b4a-e411-9843-00155d244b00'
PROJ_UID='bf346e98-3b4a-e411-9843-00155d244b00'
Error AssignmentInvalidOwner (139) - column RES_UID_OWNER
I have admin rights, I CAN create a new project using the same template if I create it from ProjectPro, and I CAN create a new project using the default template (blank) in PWA.
Any thoughts on what I could do?

Hi John,
I assume you are using some cost resources in your project plan template? If that's the case you can try to remove these resources from your template and see if that would fix the error.

when i call the BAPI its giving me an error
Enter a tax code in item 000001
so when i entered a data in TAXDATA table of BAPI again it throw an error,
Enter value in either field HEADERDATA-CALC_TAX_IND or field TAX_AMOUNT (import parameter TAXDATA).
As per my requirement we wanted to set CALC_TAX_IND .

My excel contain date format 'YYYYMMDD'
But the server in i am uploading data having date format 'DDMMYYYY'.
bapi also having date format YYYYMMDD.
BUT in TCODE AS91 HAVING DATE IN DDMMYYYY FORMAT.
Due to this format it is giving error.

Sub-Project Creation using CSOM in project server 2013

We are able to create a project using CSOM, we would like to create a sub project and template too, however we are unable to set the project type.

As of 12/30/2013, I don't see anything in the REST\CSOM that allows you to create a sub project off a top level project. At the moment, you can't do this via Client APIs and must use Project\PWA to do it. You can use this tool to find what

Getting error in project creation from Appropriation Request

Hi SAPians,
When I am creating a project from appropriation request having same coding mask option(Option 1 in AR type), the project structure is not created as desired. Like I am copying a project from template I-00001 with WBS I-00001 at first level. But when I am creating project in AR by copying this std. project , created project definition is I-00001 and level 1 WBS is I-00001-01. Because of this project entire project structure has changed.
can anybody help me this new created project structure as desired.

we also faces the same issue since replace optionis not there on IMA11, what we did was, we created only 1 st level wbs through IMA11 and then inluded the rest using CJ20N using template.

Error in delivery creation using VL10B

Hi All,
I have created the intercompany STO with shipping data determined in it. after executing the STO using VL10B system is giving following errors.
Shipping for sales org. XXXX dist. chan. XX from plant XXXX is not possible
Delivery from plant XXXX for material XYZ is not possible.
Please suggest which config settings are required to eliminate this error.

Please do check your setting if you have done otherwise refer below steps;
1. You must assign a delivery type to the purchase order document type/supplying plant combination. You can do this in the IMG for purchasing under "Purchase Order --> Set Up Stock Transport Order --> Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule". NL (Replenishment delivery) is provided for intra-company-code stock transfers and NLCC (Replenishment delivery cross company) for cross-company-code stock transfers. 2. You must assign sales and distribution (SD) organizational units to the supplying plant. They are a sales organization and a distribution channel. Purchasing --> Purchase order --> Set up Stock Transport Order --> Plant. 3. You must assign a customer master record to the receiving plant. IMG Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Set Up Stock Transport Order --> Plant. You require a customer master record for the receiving plant. This customer master record must be created for the organizational units of the supplying plant (point 2) (Logistics --> Sales and Distribution --> Master Data --> Business Partners --> Customers --> Create -> sales and distribution VD01 or total XD01). For the intra-company-code stock transport, it is sufficent to create the customer master record as a goods recipient (VD01). For the cross-company-code stock transport with shipping and billing documents, a complete cutomer master reccord is required (XD01). 4. For the material to be transferred, you must create the sales organization data for the sales organization/distribution channel of the supplying plant (point 2), and you must maintain the sales view (general plant data) for the supplying plant. 5. If there is a cross-company-code stock transport, you must create a vendor master record for the purchasing organization of the receiving plant. You must assign the supplying plant to the vendor master record. The assignment is executed in the vendor master record from the purchasing organization screen using "Extras --> Additional Purchasing Data". 6. You must enter a shipping point for the combination of shipping condition (from the customer master record of the ordering plant, see point 3) - loading group (from the material master) - supplying plant, IMG: Logistics Execution --> Shipping 24.06.2009 Page 2 of 6 --> Basic Shipping Functions --> Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination --> Assign shipping points. If all the required settings have not been made, the system informs the user in the purchase order screen.

"Resource Busy" error during image creation,using disk utility when booting up from installation DVD

Hi all, first post to this community, wish all well
I have a MBP which is more than three years old, installed with OSX Leopard 10.6. Recently the MBP failed to to start and I tried to follow some articles online, including some from this community, to repair my disk, and more importantly, to backup data on the startup disk. But it does not work quite well so I try to seek some help here.
What I have done is to bootup with the installation DVD, try to verify and repair the disk using disk utility, which tells me it can't repair and recommend to backup, erase and reinstall. Am fine with this recommendation but now the problem is on the backup part. There are two partitons on this 500GB hitachi SATA disk. One is 300G which is for OSX itself, and the other 200G was partitioned for Time Machine. The repair failure is on the OSX partition which contains most of the recent data that I want to backup/restore. And unfortunately the Time Machine backup was stopped about two month ago, for some stupid decision I have made , while I am hoping to recover some data for the past month.
Currently the SMART status of the whole disk is verified, the OSX partition is unmounted with no details in the Available, Used, Number of Files, etc. From what I have researched (correct me if I am wrong), I highlight the OSX partition from the list on the left, click 'New Image' button on top, and select the destination to try to create an image of the current partition. But regardless of my desintation (Time Machine partition, or external USB drive), the imaging process always failed with Resource Busy error. Some online search suggest that the partition must be in unmount status but seems it does not apply to this case.
Would be really appreciated if anyone can give me some advice on what's the 'resource busy' error mean, how to backup the OSX partition, or what are the other possible alternatives.

Very poor idea to keep the Time Machine backup file on the internal hard drive. They should always be put on an external drive. As when the internal fails you lose everything. Which is what I suspect has happened.
More then likely your internal drive is failing. the only options to get a new internal drive and a SATA to USB adapter. Install the new drive inside the system abd install OS X on it. Then once that is finished and you are booting from it connect the old drive to the system with the SATA to USB adapter and copy your files off the old drive. That is if you can.
