Error in Proxy activation

Hello experts,
I am trying to create a new proxy. However I am getting an error while activation. I selected service interface and creating a proxy. During the activation an error reads as follows:
path not active in ICF /SAP/BC/SRT/XIP/SAP/Z********* (at the end it is the name of the service interface).
I tried to go in SICF transaction with all above levels. The above path has not even been created.
I am not sure how I can resolve the issue. Any help!
Thanks,
Ganesh Khumse

Node had to be activated till /SAP/BC/SRT/XIP/SAP.
Issue resolved.
Thanks

  • Proxy Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks

    Hi,
When i am activating the client proxy class in ECC system after assigning it to the package,i am getting the below error. With local object($TMP) its working fine. I tried creating package using se80 as well as from sm30 using view V_TDEVC also and the package is created with no restrictions also .Kindly suggest what needs to be done to fix the issue.
Activity terminated because errors occurred during package checks
    Message no. EU839
    Diagnosis
Dictionary objects can only be activated if the package check is swithch ed on - provided they do not contain any package check errors.
You will receive a list of the package check errors if you execute the package check within the appropriate dictionary tool. To do this, use the respective menu entry in the first menu of theen; corresponding dictionary tool.
    Procedure
Keep note of the setting for the package check (system-wide property) in your SAP System; this setting defines in which form the package concept is to be applied.
In particular, check whether the package in which the incorrect dictionary object is located has sufficient usage applications. Then, if necessary, create the missing usage applications.
As soon as the package check errors have been removed, you must again activate the dictionary object.
    Thnx,
    Goutham

  • "An error occurred during activation. Try again." Can't log into iMessage on Macbook for past two weeks.

iMessage worked fine on my Macbook until about two weeks ago.  I can use iMessage for gMail, but my iCloud account is inactive and I get the error message "An error occurred during activation. Try again." when I try to log in with any apple ID.  It works fine currently on my iMac and my iOS devices.
I have tried many suggestions, including checking the serial number, various time & date configurations, trying an alternate Apple ID, restarting, signing in and out of iCloud, and inspecting the keychain.

This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are many possible causes for it. Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. That could be a public Wi-Fi hotspot, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or at your ISP, not in your computer.
    Step 1
Check the status of the service. If the service is down, wait tor it to come back up. There may be a localized outage, even if the status indicator is green.
    Step 2
Sign out of iMessage on all your Apple devices. Log out and log back in. Try again to sign in.
    Step 3
Restart your router and your broadband device, if they're separate. You may have to skip this step if you don't control those devices.
    Step 4
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ About This Mac
Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or invalid according to this web form, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.
    Step 5
Take the steps suggested in this support article. If you don't understand some of the steps or can't carry them out, ask for guidance.
    Step 6
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If the box marked SOCKS Proxy is checked, uncheck it. You don’t need to change any other settings in the window. Click OK and then Apply. Test.
The result may be that you can't connect to the Internet at all. Revert the change if that happens, or if iMessage still doesn't work. Remember that you must Apply any changes you make in the preference pane before they take effect.
    Step 7
    Select from the menu bar
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Storage
    and click
Block all sites from storing information on this computer
    Close the preference pane.
    Step 8
Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to find and delete all items with "iMessage" or "com.apple.idms" in the name. Log out and log back in.
    Step 9
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.
    Step 10
Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you start up, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. After testing, restart as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and test again.
If iMessage worked in safe mode, but still doesn't work when you restart in "normal" mode, stop here and post your results.
    Step 11
    Reset the NVRAM.
    Step 12
    Reinstall OS X.
    Step 13
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support.

  • Error occurs while activating a 'Write Optimized' DSO.

I am getting error " There is no PSA for infosource 'XXXX'  and source system 'XXX' while activating a newly defined DSO object.
I am able to activate a Standard DSOs, however the error occurs while activating a 'Write Optimized' DSO

    Hi,
For write optimised DSO, check if you have tick the uniqueness of the records. If you check that and if there are two same records coming from source in one go, then you will get error
    From SAP help
You can specify that you do not want to run a check to ensure that the data is unique. If you do not check the uniqueness of the data, the DataStore object table may contain several records with the same key. If you do not set this indicator, and you do check the uniqueness of the data, the system generates a unique index in the semantic key of the InfoObject. This index has the technical name "KEY". Since write-optimized DataStore objects do not have a change log, the system does not create delta (in the sense of a before image and an after image). When you update data into the connected InfoProviders, the system only updates the requests that have not yet been posted.
    Thanks

  • Error authenticating proxy while running agent job

I am trying to schedule a SSIS2014 package via SQL Server Agent job. Both SSIS and SSMS are running on my local machine in the same domain. I am running SSMS with the same user
Domain\Admin which is the creator of the SSIS package. SSMS 32-Bit and SSIS 32-Bit are running on Windows 7 64-Bit machine. I can run the package within SSIS without problems.
When I use a proxy account to run the job step, the following message occurs:
Unable to start execution of step 1 (reason: Error authenticating proxy `Domain\Admin`, system error: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.). The step failed.
The proxy account uses the credentials identity Domain\Admin. Since the password fields for credential properties in SSMS cannot be left blank, I typed any password although my corresponding windows account has no password. So as mentioned above
it's the same user account that created the SSIS package since Domain\Admin is stated in the CreatorName property of the SSIS package.
With this proxy, I tried to run SSIS jobs using the package ProtectionLevel's
EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey and EncryptSensitiveWithPassword. Running the package manually within SSDT without problems, but from SSMS agent job the same error message appears. I tried the package sources "File System" and, after
importing the package to MSDB, "SQL Server" and "SSIS Package Store". But exactly the same error message appears with each method.
Task manager shows that SSMS is running in administrator mode. Using Windows Component Services I added DCOM permissions for
Domain\Admin to start and activate "Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services 12.0" from local. But the same error message appears. So in my opinion it's a problem with SSMS user account permissions (???) but unfortunately I don't know
what exactly to do here. I tried the following:
In the system database MSDB (full path: Databases / System Databases / MSDB / Security / Logins) I assigned all available role memberships (Including db_ssisoperator, db_ssisltduser, db_ssisadmin) to
    Domain\Admin.
In server security (full path: Security / Logins) I assigned all available server roles. In the tab User Mapping, I assigned the MSDB database.
Still the same error message appears when I try to run the job. Does anybody have some ideas what I can try?

If you use the Agent then set the package protection to "Rely on server".
Then Domain/Admin is probably not an actual proxy but the account the Agent is running under, in this or even any case follow http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2163/running-a-ssis-package-from-sql-server-agent-using-a-proxy-account/ to create the
    proper proxy for the packages.

    Hi Martin,
You can have a look in the pack spec group and make sure that the flag 'PS_ACTIVATE' it is not set.
That way you will no longer face this error during the activation process.

I have had my officejet 4215 all-in-one printer well over a year and it has connected and printed whatever I wanted.  Yesterday when I wanted to print an email it would not and the following box popped up: Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20.  Then the next box that popped up said: Printer Error  An unknown error occurred while printing.
If I copy the email over to a Microsoft Windows page, then i can print it fine.
Any idea how to fix this so I can print email's like I used to?
    Rey

What operating system?  What email program are you trying to print from?
