Error in receiving Email to sbwp

Hi all,
I have an issue. There is a user who changed her e-mail i.d six months back. After which she changed her i.d ,she is not receiving the work items (e-mails)in her business work place. I find the roles are all fine and SMTP is also configured.
In SOST also there is no indication of the mail being sent to this user.
any suggestions please
Thanks&regards
Divya Venkatakrishnan

Hi,
Are you fetching the User id from SU01 or HR Master Data Infotype 0105 & subtype 0010.
If the Email id maintained, Check it is a Valid email id. i.e. Check in the Program @.*
If every thing fine, in the receiver type, you have to give 'U'.
Check this [program|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/nYKdAw].

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

• My ipad receives email with the hotel wifi but will not send. The error message is "user name or password for ........is incorrect" but both are correct and unchanged. Restarting iPad didnt help.

My iPad receives email on the hotel wifi but will not send. The error message reads "user name or password for smpt......is incorrect" but both are correct and unchanged. Restarting iPad did not help.

I did try this too, but when I access my webmail on the iPad, the iPad doesn't allow me to type my message. I am able to enter in the "to" address and the "subject" line, but then the keyboard will not come up for me to type my message. Is there some trick to this? Very frustrating!

• I can receive email from my regulare email account but I cannot send. I get an error message that I have to go to settings and enter a password, but when I do the password is there. I have tried re-entering password with the same result. How can I send?

I am able to receive email, but when I try to reply I get an error message to go to settings and enter a password. My password is there and I have re-entered it with no success. How can I enable send feature from my I Phone?

You have to go to SMTP settings for your email account and enter a password there. Sended and receiving are two different activities managed by 2 differet servers, and each may require a separate user ID and password.

• Can receive email, but can't send....getting error message

I can receive email just fine...but when I try to send email I get this error message:
"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
The connection to the server "smtp.mac.com" on port 25 timed out."
Just started happening a few days ago. Worked fine before then. Any ideas? Reboot / reconnect to isp doesn't help. thanks!

Sounds like your ISP made a recent change regarding the use of an SMTP server that is outside of their network.
Are you also accessing an email account and SMTP server that is provided by your ISP used for connecting to the internet with the Mail.app and if so, are you able to send messages with this account and SMTP server?
If yes to both, try this first.
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the Account Information tab for your .Mac account preferences at the SMTP server selection, select the Server Settings button below for the .Mac SMTP server.
Enter 587 in place of 25 in the Server Port field and when finished, select OK to save the changed setting.
If this doesn't work and you are accessing an email account and SMTP server provided by your ISP with the Mail.app and if not, add your ISP's SMTP server to the Mail.app as an available SMTP server to choose from and select/use your ISP's SMTP server to send messages with your .Mac account.

P.S. The error sound "bong" is driving us nuts!

Please post on the Office for Mac product forums that Microsoft hosts. It's their product and they can best troubleshoot the issue.

• No such message error when trying to receive email.

I am having a problem receiving email on my home computer, and this problem is something which has just suddenly appeared. I am running Windows 7, Time Warner Cable is my provider and when I hit 'Get Messages', I get the following error message:
"The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop-server.rochester.rr.com responded: no such message."
My wife has her own email account through the same provider and is having no problems retrieving her own mail. Thank you in advance.

Check your POP or IMAP settings. Your e-mail provider should supply you with the correct settings. or
Delete the affected account(s) and then re-add the account(s). or
Back-up your files; then Uninstall and Reinstall Thunderbird May be an incorrect path.

• Iphone stopped receiving emails from verizon; error message wrongly says username and PW incorrect

Yesterday (10/21/13) my iphone 3 stopped receiving emails from my verizon account and error message says "the user name or password for verizon in incorrect," even though I know the user name and password are correct and I am receiving emails from verizon on my ipad and I mac. In addition, after I "reset." the phone by pressing the "home" and "off" buttons together until the apple logo appeared, I lost all of the emails that were on the iphone's mailboxes. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Here is the solution given to me by a very helpful Verizon phone agent. Go to your Verizon mail account under settings. Under Incoming Mail server, change host name to pop.verizon.net.
Under Outgoing Mail Server, change host name to smtp.verizon.net.
Make sure Use SSL is on for Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers.
She said the above is the solution that has worked for most people who are having trouble receiving and or sending Verizon emails from their Iphones since Monday October 21. She said that if this solution did not work, it is then an Apple problem and I would then need to go to Apple's email client support for troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages (for MAC in my case). After writing down all of the passwords and configurations for verizon email currently on my phone, including the new host names above, I ended up deactiving my verizon email account and then reimputing all of the passwords, configurations, ... . It worked! My verizon email was back and running.
