Error in Replication of SRM PO change to SUS

Hello Everyone,
We are using SRM 5.0 with extended classic scenario.
We create the PO in SRM and then we transfer this PO to SUS. For the first time it is working fine but anytime you make a change to it the change does not transmit to the SUS portal. Usually we make a change in price.
This is not happening with every PO but only PO's with certain type of contract .
So for this issue what should I do?

Error - Material can no longer be changed

Hi Experts,
We are facing an error in the SRM portal. There is a PO with 4 line items where the GR/IR has been issued for all the 4. Then the user wants to increment the price of the 4th line item and so he deletes the 4th line item and adds a new line item with the incremented price. On doing this he gets a hard error stating 'Material can no longer be changed' for the line items 1 2 and 3. When he again undeletes the 4th line item and deletes the newly added line item with increased price he gets the same hard error only on line item 4.
Please help with your comments.

Thanks for your response!
The issue here is that the user is not changing the material. Instead trying to delete the GR/IR issued line item inorder to add new line item with updated price. But still we recive the hard error material can no longer be changed... Though no changes have been done to the material.

Issue with Contract Replication from SRM to MDM - XML structure

Hi
We are having an issue with trnsfering a contract to MDM. We have released the contract for update to MDM in the contract through the distribute to catalog option. An XML is generated in SRM that gets sucessfully passed to PI through Catalogupdatenotification_out. In PI the XML fails in the Interface Determination step. the issue that has been noticed is that the XML that is generated in SRM does not contain product category or product ID which is basically what the condition mapping in PI checks for. The conditions in PI were setup as per SAP.
But now the XML fails in PI because it does not find a combination for Catalog type code = 03 and product category. Please find the XML structure in SRM and you will see that it does not have a product category even though the contract has one.

Thank you for your quick reply.
So we should consider the scenario where SRM is the central repository for the contracts, and all the changes done in SRM should be replicated to ERP.
In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.

SRM PO Changes doesnt transfer to R/3 PO

Hi All,
SRM 5.0 ECS
We face an issue sometimes that SRM Po changes doesnt flow in R/3 PO. The bigger issue is we do not see any error in RZ20 nor in BBP_PD.Yes there is a FM at our disposal to push the changes, but just wanted to see the root cause and if anyone has faced a similar case.
Please throw some light on this!!

Hi Krishna,
If you find another one, access the PO through BBP_PD.
Scroll down to bottom of screen where below the workflow you will see a thing called "Check again"
click on this and if you scroll down again after screen refresh you may see errors that didn;t appear on the WEBGui.
Sometimes the DOC_CHECK_BADI can be responsibe for this but either creating or getting rid of errors, you could set BP at beginning of this BADI, then press the Check again button and jump over all the code of the BADI and see if you see any different behaviour.

"Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105)" when doing a repadmin /syncall

Whenever I do a repadmin /syncall I get "CALLBACK MESSAGE: Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105):"
If I do a repadmin /syncall /P the command completes with no errors
I am running this command from the only FSMO roles holder for my domain
This is also in our hub office which all of our branch offices connect to.
I was going to run "repadmin /syncall /e /P" to immediately replicate changes to all of our DCs, but I want to be sure this won't break anything.
I found two warnings in the following Microsoft article that worry me:

"These are very powerful subcommands and should be used sparingly as they do not follow replication agreements that are in place and have the potential to cause replication storm and break Active Directory if not used properly."
for the /syncall switch:
"Use this command and the above flags cautiously or you can damage the replication system because this command does not follow replication agreements nor honor any replication restrictions such as DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL or DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL"
Is running this command safe or will I cause problems by doing this? I was thinking that because this is the FSMO roles holder doing a /P (push) to the other DCs from this one would be ok.
I should also add that doing a "repadmin /replicate" to any DC executes without any errors.

Can you post the dcdiag /q,repadmin /replsum and repadmin /syncall details of DC's to analyse the same.Please use skydive to post the log
"Error issuing replication: 8453 (0x2105):" This can either be a DNS misconfig,secure channel between DC broken,lingering object issue or network connectivity issue,necessary ports are not fully opened between locations,etc. Microsoft's PortQry tests specific
AD ports and the ephemeral ports, and the required responses from the services on the required AD ports it specifically scans for. Here's more info on the ports that AD requires to properly communicate:

Also, disable local windows firewall service, by default it is enabled in vista/windows 2008 and above. Check the network connectivity and latency.

Also ensure the following DNS setting on DC:
1. Each DC / DNS server points to its private IP address as primary DNS server and other remote/local DNS servers as secondary in TCP/IP properties.
2. Each DC has just one IP address and single network adapter is enabled.
3. Contact your ISP and get valid DNS IPs from them and add it in to the forwarders, Do not set public DNS server in TCP/IP setting of DC.
4. Once you are done, run "ipconfig /flushdns & ipconfig /registerdns", restart DNS and NETLOGON service each DC.
Do not put private DNS IP addresses in forwarder list.
5.Assign static IP address to DC if IP address is assigned by DHCP server to DC.It is strongly not recommended.

Try unmounting the volume on your iMac using Disk Utility. Then mount it again. Still Stress testing ADF Faces with JMeter,
I try to simulate each user inserting multiple rows by setting Loop Count = nn on a JMeter Thread Group :
Test Plan
Thread Group
Http Cookie Manager
Once Only Controller
1) MainMenu.jspx
2) Login
3) SalesMenu
***** end of Once Only Controller
4) Add New Order -> this will open a blank Form after a new row is Inserted
5) Submit the Form -> this will do entity validation
6) Press Commit
7) Back to SalesMenu
*** end of test plan
As you see, by using Once Only Controller, I want the looping of inserting new Order starts from step 4)
But on step 5) I get the error :
JBO-35007: Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered.
The expected row key was oracle.jbo.Key[-3649]
Is ther any work around for this ?

No, first iteration is successfull, error occured on iteration-2.
B) number 7, when you say back to the sales menu, by what means? Via browser back button?
Not via back button, I do it using Global Navigation rule from action propeerty of <af:commandMenuItem
C) your sales menu, does it use af:command controls or af:go controls?
From SalesMenu to AddOrderPage -> using <af:commandMenuItem
D) the number -3469. Is it familiar to you? A number you're generating via I'm curious to know why it's negative.
Yes, negative is expected, its because I use DBSequence as PK, and on entering the AddOrderPage, a new Row is created, when created by ADF the PK is negative,
then using a DB Before Insert Trigger I update it with a normal sequence.
Does iteration / looping work in your case ?

Pl goto RZ20, SAP Enterprise Buyer monitor--confirmation and open the alerts.
All error logs have to be there. How will you analyse otherwise as to what went wrong?
Have you done the partner profile settings for confirmation? Defined ports in SRM? Are you on classic/extended classic?

PO - Error in process at SRM

Extended Classic Scenario
CCM 2.0
The PO is " Error in process " at SRM.
When see in TC RZ20 - getting the below error message:-
PO 70000XXXXX: No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:
PurchOrder 70000XXXXX: Purchase order still contains faulty items
PurchOrder 70000XXXXX: Net price must be greater than 0
PurchOrder 70000XXXXX: Transfer failed
when check via Function Module BBP_PD_PO_CHECK.... No error comes.
Even after executing FM - BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC ....same error comes in the RZ20
Can any one advice ?

I would like to inform you that its a Development server and just one n a half month back it was working perfectly fine.
Suddenly it started giving the problem although the Last PO which was approved and posted to backend was on 27.10.2010 ( i.e. In the month of October2010) successfully.
I am supprised like how come there is a need of applying SAP note on this since it was working perfectly fine one and half month before .
Well we have craeted SC and PO craeted successfully till 27th October 2010 , after that we have tried now in the month of dec its giving the Error in Process PO .
Well we have found the below notes :-
Seems to some OSS Note is missing in either you R/3 backend or the SRM system ->
Note 841021 - Manual price entered disappears - error 06 218
Note 932236 - BAPI_PO_CREATE1: Purchase order price unit not transferred
Note 580225 - Purchasing BAPIs: Conditions and pricing
Note 853970 - BAPI_PO_CREATE1: Net price is not transferred
Note 571860 - BAPI_PO_CREATE1: Price is not transferred
Note 487605 - ME21N: 06 218 'Net price must be greater than 0'.
Can you please advice which one you were taking about ?
Or is there any other way apart from applying SAP notes ?

Error in work flow wait for change event

Error in work flow wait for change event of business object bus1014, Actually this business object is triggering for two transaction one is me21n and another is c201 . am trying to create fork with two branches one is create and another if change occurs wait will trigger, bt when i trigger work flow controll is not after fork, it will stop in fork only. and am not getting my workflow container variable getting instantiate, am getting error in wait. please any one get out of me in this

What is LV_MATERIAL? is it a BO container element? or a class element or a just a simple variable?
Error message is clear, you are trying to evaluate LV_MATERIAL but it does not contain a value.
This is a custom workflow as it begins with WS9xxxxxxx... what is LV_MATERIAL used for? what are we expecting it to hold? maybe, from event to workflow binding we can pass the value to it.
Please share the following:
1) Definition screen shot of LV_MATERIAL
2) Screen shot of The step where it is first used - from SWDD
3) Screenshot of Event to Workflow Binding
4) name of your base Business Object (seen in the triggering events tab of the WF template in PFTC)
5) What is the corresponding variable for that BO in your workflow container
6) Screen shot of WF definition from SWDD - please identify the step going in error in that screen shot

When I'm importing my articles I get this message. "An error has occurred while saving your changes to the server.
Network failure. Do you want to try again?"

I had several fails yesterday as well. Not sure what the issue was. Haven't tried today, but I know there were 1 or 2 other people posting the same issue.

When trying to deleted contact in address book receive error message "Contact updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed"

I recently added a contact sent to me via BBM as .vcf file and when i try to delete this one particular contact i get the following error message error message “Contact updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed“.
I have added contacts using the .vcf received via BBM but never encountered this issue.
I've reset the device, deleted in Outlook as i'm on a BES server and still the same.
Anyone have this problem?
