Error in report bursting/distribution

I develop a group report for distribution. I use XML file to save report output as pdf into a particular location. Files save with column name exist in group. Its working fine, but some time i face a problem that report save with different name and the content (e.g. group for which report is created) are different. I will very thankful if anyone can let me know the reason of this error. Its urgent.

XML Publisher Report Bursting Program ends in error

We have a report that generates the XML output (ACH notification)
In the after report we have a call to the Bursting program.
The ACH notification completes with the correct output but the bursting ends in error showing

The temp directory variable in the XML Publisher is /tmp which has all the permissions.
The control file calls the delivery method (email 123 in the example) and uses the following template

This template is defined for English language and Territory United States.

Error: "Wrong Data" in Burst Distribution using ReportServer 10.1.2.0.2

Hi All,
I have a sporadic problem with the burst distribution of ASCII-Files with ReportServer 10.1.2.0.2 and would like to know if this is fixed in 10.1.2.0.3
(I already checked the bug list, but it does not seem to be on there).
So here goes:
I have a small report which is run "pretty often", selecting data for different customers and bursting it into separate files by a so called "telebox" number as discriminator.
The report is run with the following "simple" distribution file:

gdateiname is a formula column containing the telebox number calculated in the Group referenced in the "repeat on"-property of the relevant main section of the report (header and tail are empty).
This works pretty good except sporadically, files get created which are of exactly the same size, and the data contained is identical. In these cases, for example, 6 files get generated, of which 5 are correct and one is an exact duplicate (though with different filename containing the "telebox") of one of the others.
Any ideas ?

This bug is fixed in Reports 10.1.2.3 (Reports 10.1.2 + patchset 3)

In XML Report Bursting and distribution, do we need to configure the "Mail Server" on apps. (I mean any configuration is required on apps server)?

After upgrading ATG RUP7, we have issue related to the XML Bursting Program.
XML Publisher Report Bursting Program (XDOBURSTREP Short Name) is failing with error when there is no output is generated by the Oracle Report, this was working fine before the ATG RUP7.

XML Publisher Report Bursting

I have created report using XML Publisher Report Bursting. The output-type of the report is pdf..

But if I change the format to xls it's showing error and the report is not getting created.

Only common point in failure with above error are below columns in fnd_concurrent_request

Sending HTML Email Using Report Bursting

Hello all,
I have a requirement whereby I am sending the report as an attachment to some users and as a link to other users. Report bursting would seem to be the answer and is working well with the exception of the HTML formatted email. When attempting to email a link, my html tags are still showing up as text. I have tried using < and >
I have also specified format=html in my distribution.xml file to no avail.
Any ideas ??

Where are you adding your html code for the link ?
Is it in a field in the report or are including it as part of the distribution.xml file?

Can someone please explain me how I can probably do a report bursting using webi.
My requirement are as follow:
Suppose I have the below table in my report.When i burst my report, user A should receive details of A only on his email id.

Error in report generation-Load report failed

I have installed crystal reports for VS2005 runtime in my live environment.When i try to load the report file from a .Net page i am getting the error'Error in Report generation-Load report failed'.
This works fine in development and testing but when moved to production we are having issues.
I believe i have a workaround i.e i need to open the rpt in a VS 2005 environment and re-write the connection string again.This fix had worked in development and testing when we had the same issue.
But not sure if this is a known issue with crystal reports and if so do we have any hot fixes for the same.
Please help.

Hi Don,
The reason why i posted the item on 'data Connectivity issues' is because i suspect the problem is with the connection string.Though i had provided the correct connection string,re-writing the connection string with the same info might help to fix the issue with loading the report.
Does it mean that there is a problem in the connectivity?
I have a risk here that i cant re-write the connection string..i.e to open the RPT file in VS2005 and bind it.The production web server & database server sits in a third party environment and it is not in the company network.So i cant connect to this server to re-write from any other severs in the network.
Is there any fix which can applied to the server to get this issue resolved?

Error from reports from ZAM(Graph or PDF) - File does not begin with '%PDF-'.

I just noticed today that any Graph or PDF report I try to view I get the
following error - Error from reports from ZAM - File does not begin with
'%PDF-'. I tried to just save the file and then open it, but get the same
error. I can open other pdf files I have downloaded from other sites ok.
Anyone have any idea? I haven't done anything to that server that I am
aware of in quite a while.

I took a closer look at the files it downloaded, opened them with notepad,
haer is what it says:
XSL Transform or subsequent processing failedThe document has no pages.
