  • Unknown error in reservation system (API error type A code 3)

    Good Day
I hope someone can give me some info for the following error.
I create a travel plan and when I click on Book I do some times get the following error
"Unknown error in reservation system (API error type A code 3)"
Can anyone please assist, as this does not always happens.

MONO PKGBUILDs have a number of unique requirements. Have a look at some of the official ones, like Banshee itself, or F-spot, for example.

  • Error-maintaing Reservation Characteristic in Resource (Capa Reservation)

Hi All, we are trying to implement Capacity Resolution scenario on APO SCM7.0
While maintaining Descriptive Characteristic in the Resource, we are getting error: u201CThe Reservation Characteristic is not validu201D (as mentioned in step 6). The related message number is u201C/SAPAPO/CAPREV003u201D.
    We have done following setup:
    1. Maintained the field catalog containing the required fields/characteristic (MATNR, WERKS, KUNNR)
    2. Maintained a consumption group.
    3. Maintained Capacity Reservation Group containing consumption group with all characteristic
    4. Assigned the consumption group to the product master. (Demand tab page of the location-product). Assigned requirements strategy = 20 (Planning with final assembly) u2026 u2026 suitable for descriptive characteristics.
    5. Maintained a (PP/DS) Time Continuous Resource
    6. Need to maintain Capacity Reservation Group & Characteristic for the resource. For that we followed: Tab-PP/DS Bucket Cap. --> Button-Capacity Reservation. But, while maintaining Descriptive Characteristic, we are getting error: u201CThe Reservation Characteristic is not validu201D.
    Query:
    (a) When we do F4 in Characteristic under Descriptive Characteristic, we can view two columns Char. & Descriptive Char. In the column Characteristic the 3 fields are present. But against these 3 fields no value is present in the column descriptive Characteristic. Is it the reason for issue, If yes, what can be the fix.
    Characteristic     Descriptive Characteristic
    KUNNR
    MATNR
    WERKS
    (b) Is it required to assign Capacity Reservation Group to Resource? If yes, How/where?
    7. In Demand Planning created a master planning object structure containing the descriptive characteristics. (also Planning Area)
    8. Created characteristic value combinations that include the values of the descriptive characteristics
    9. Created a forecast for the product using Demand Planning functionality.
    10. Released the Forecast to SNP. The descriptive characteristic can be verified in product view (after clicking on the triangle).
    Thanks & Regards,
    Milind Joshi

    Hi Milind,
Have you maintained number range intervals for capacity reservations?
Please refer the SAP note 1073568 for more details.
    Also, please check the following,
    1. in consumption group creation you maintained the correct planning area.
    2. You have initiated planning version for your planning area.
    3. You have used the same planning version in your resource.
Since the Characteristic values in MPOS are linked to Capacity reservation Group through Planning Area, there may be some inconsistency in these settings only.
Also refer the SAP note 1368244 if it is helpful,
    Regards,
    Manimaran M.

  • Error while reserve GR process

    HI All,
I getting the following error message when try to reserve good receipt from return process, "Handling units were changed. Cancellation no longer possible ".
Please help me with this problem.
Thank you very much for your kindly help.

    Hi
I believe you are using two step stock transport process with handling units
Any postings with handling units cannot be reversed with vl09 if
subsequent activities have been carried out on the HUs (this includes
assignments, postings etc). This behaviour is a result of note 687257.

Any idea what's going on or how to prevent it?

I have isolated the issue to ssh and the login window. I can use these same administrator credentials to initiate ARD sessions, configure the server via Server admin or WGM, authenticate to perform privileged finder operations.
    restarts do not change anything.
per a related post, but not identical investigated /var/db/dslocal/nodes/Default/config/ I only had one of the referenced files, not the several hundred those posters seemed to have. I made a backup, and removed it, followed by a restart. There was no effect.
I opened Server Admin, and turned off ssh, verified that remote login was not checked in System Preferences. Logged out, no effect, restarted again no effect.
There is no joy with trying Local Administrator.
This is a clean 10.5.4 Install (Monday, August 3) DNS works per Anthony Rocco's setup instructions and verification methods. DNS was working prior to upgrading to OD Master. Kerberos logins worked properly. I was going through and setting up share points and setting ACLs when I realized I lost access.
I would take any suggestions people might have...

  • Is there a range of error codes reserved for user defined error codes?

I would like to create my own error codes for a CVI dll but I want to make sure I don't use error codes already defined for something else. Is there a range reserved for such use?
Samee thing for warnings (errorcode > 0)
    Thanks

I have never found a positive mention of a "safe" range of error codes available for user-defined error conditions, but I can suggest you some source of informations.
First of all, every library has its specific list of error codes, usually listed in the relative include file. All these error codes are listed in the online help too (search for "error codes" in the index tab of the help).
Second, GetGeneralErrorString () is a function that can be used to trap errors of the following libraries with a unique error function:
    User Interface Library
    Easy I/O instrument driver
    Toolbox instrument driver
    ActiveX Library
    DIAdem Connectivity Library
    .NET Library
    DataSocket instrument driver
    Network Variable Library
    Real-Time Utility Library
    TDM Streaming Library
    UDP Support Library
This means that the error codes from this libraries do not overlap, so you could derive from its code some ranges not used by these libraries.
Nevertheless, there is not a single function for error trapping: every library has its proper list of error codes and a function to decode them in human readable form, andthere is no guarantee that these ranges does not overlap. It's up to you to trap errors from every function in the proper way.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • COGI Error - RE Reserved quant. exceeded

    Hi All,
First of All "Wish You A Happy New Year"
I got a issue with high priority in COGI transaction with Error Text " RE Reserved quant. exceeded by 4,071.456 KG : CPXXXBRT 1000 R100"
    Application Area M7 & Message Number 362.
The material is a raw material. I have verified the production order and found, the Requirement Qty for this raw material is 144,275.00, Committed quantity is 29,941.876 & the Withdrawl Qty is 147,667.284
I am new to this error issue in COGI. Can any one guide me what to do now and how to solve this issue quickly?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Phani Kumar

    " RE Reserved quant. exceeded by 4,071.456 KG : CPXXXBRT 1000 R100"
since the material is activated as a Backflush,  when the try to post extra  qty compare to requirement qty for that reason, Goods movement is failed  and log is created in COGi.
IF they client  want the above qty issue against Planned consumption.
then they need to increase the requirement qty in CO02 by 4071.456, so that the reservation qty will equal as posting
IF they client  want the above qty issue against unplanned consumption.
Then They can delete the COGI error and post the Goods issue in MB1A, with out entering order in initial screen and the add the order in MB1A and post the raw material

  • JVM error while reserving big byte array

Hi all, I've encountered a strange problem while trying to unzip a big file (~100MB):
I have to work with it in memory so I load it into byte array - this never caused any troubles until I tried to unpack a file of such big size - more detailed investigation showed that just a line like that:
byte[] bb = new byte[100000000] - ruins a service thread WITHOUT giving an exception (so that, try-catch around it don't react on it)!
    The system config is here:
    P4 1.4GHz, 512 RAM, JDK1.5.u6
    Anyone saw such trouble?

What was the specific error message or symptom you saw?
Also please include which version of java you are using (the output
    from java -version).

  • Displaying a trigger error in forms

In a before inserting table trigger, if inserted values are not correct, I raise an error :
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR(-20001,'Error message !');
What I want is to display this error message in forms instead of the error 40508 - ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record.
    How can I ?

    look at Dbms_Error_Code and Dbms_Error_Text.
You'll have to parse them, but you can grab the error messages off them.
Here's a similar question I asked on Metalink... I never received an error there, but the solution was to write an on-error trigger for the block and capture the form errors related to inserts, updates, and deletes. Here's the question though:
    Oracle Forms/Web Forms Technical Forum
    From: ERIC GIVLER 18-Nov-00 15:16
Subject: "Clean" capture of DBMS Error messages on raise_application_error
"Clean" capture of DBMS Error messages on raise_application_error
This is with Forms 4.5 Developer 1.3.2 (32bit)
Has anyone written forms level triggers, I guess ON-ERROR triggers to properly capture the error messages raised from a database trigger or procedure that uses a RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR?
I'd like to display the SAME message that I'm passing to RAISE application error, the message only, without all the other garbage.
I was thinking of capturing the dbms_error_code and dbms_error_text, and then based on the form error code - kind of like in the example code in the Forms Help. Then, I'd parse these strings and strip off my error message, because the dbms_error_text contains the entire "error stack", ie:
ORA-20100: SEASON DATES ERROR! Reservations exist in this date range
    ORA-06512: at "SUNTRACK.SEASON_DATES_BR_D", line 19
ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'SUNTRACK.SEASON_DATES_BR_D'
So... I'd like to just get "SEASON DATES ERROR! Reservations exist in this date range" message
    Questions:
    1. Is there an easy way to do this that I'm missing, or do I have to brute force, look for 'ORA'| |dbms_error_code| |': ' in my dbms_error_text, strip that off the front, and then grab the error text up to the first LINEFEED, chr(10), found in the dbms_error_text - that just seems a little "kludgy"
    2. Anyone have a nice solution? IT seems like there should be a "standard" on-error trigger that handles this type of situation.
    3. What would be all the form errors that I should look for that could have been the result of an error raised in a trigger???
ie. frm-40509 (unable to update), frm-40510 (unable to delete
    null

  • Is there a LabView example in the use of user defined error codes?

Specifically, I have a VI that tests four arrays of data against various high/low limits. I have pass/fail outputs for 18 tests. I'd like to combine these into an 'error out' cluster with appropriate error codes and messages, for which I've created an x-errors.txt file.
My first question must be trival - how do I just set the 'status' bit of the error stream to let the general error handler then look up the error desription from the file?
Secondly - I can't find an example of this in the technical resourses, amI missing something?
    Thanks,

There is no example program. There is extensive help on how to do this. Here's the basics.
    1) There are two ways to define user error codes in LV6.1. If you are using LV6.0 or earlier, only one method is possible.
    2) The 6.0 method involves wiring arrays of error codes and arrays of error code strings to the General Error Handler.vi. These codes will be used to explain any error code which is undefined in LV's internal error code database. Error codes reserved for users which are guaranteed not to be used by NI are from 5000 to 9999.
    3) The 6.1 method allows you to create a specially formatted error code file on disk that will be merged with the LV error code database each time LabVIEW launches. For help on this, go to LV's online help, and in t
    he Index tab, type
"user-defined error codes, in text files"
    (without the quote marks)
    4) If you want to set an error into the error cluster, use the General Error Handler.vi again. Wire your error code value to the Error Code terminal (the leftmost-topmost corner terminal). Wire the name of your VI to the Error Source terminal, and wire "No Dialog" to the Type of Dialog terminal (left-side, near the bottom). The error code cluster that comes out of this VI will either be the error in (if one was set) or a new error code cluster with your error and the status bit set to TRUE.
    5) The attached demo is written in LV6.0.

  • Unplanned goods issue error

    Hi ,
How to do unplanned goods issue of those components which are not in the BOM of production order. In migo we can do it by 261 and choosing others.till here its ok but against what document migo will be done. I mean to say there should be some document which the shop floor guy must give to the stores so that he can do the migo( unplanned goods issue) in SAP.
I thought i can address this problem by creating a reservation and then take a print of that reservation and print out can be the document for the stores.
So I tried to create a reservation in MB21 , movement type 261, but couldnt create the reservation because of following error:
"Manual reservation for order category 10 not allowed"
    Please help to resolve..
Is there any other to create a document without creating a reservation??
I want to see a report of unplanned goods issue VS planned goods issue. Is it available or has to be developed?
    Regards

    Hi,
I know thru MB1A or migo 261 i can issue goods to prod order and that will flow as unplanned goods issue. But if the worker  or supervisor  on shop floor goes and tells stores to issue him goods which are not in the Goods issue slip, then will the stores do this above mentioned transaction?? no he will not. he will ask for some hard copy.
we should think from business point of view also.
What i am asking is:  the way we have reservation print out or goods issue slip print as a document to enable stores to issue planned goods, what is the document to issue unplanned goods ??
    Please help.
    Regards.

  • Undocumented ODBC Error when trying an insert on ORACLE 8 from ACCESS97

    Hi
I have a application with ACCESS 97 dealing with Oracle 8.1.7
The ODBC Driver version is 8.01.06
    The connecting chain is : ODBC;DRIVER={Oracle ODBC Driver};DBQ=DP3_IST;" & _
    "DBA=W;APA=T;FEN=T;QTO=T;FRC=10;FDL=10;LOB=T;RST=T;FRL=F;MTS=T;CSR=F;PFC=10;TLO=0;
I have no problems for reading with select but when i try to execute an insert,
i get the following error message: " reserved error (-7778); there is no message for this error "
It work's when using the "Microsoft ODBC for Oracle 2.573.3711.00" and unfortunatly i'm not allowed to use it.
Does anyone know what was the problem?
    Regards
    Pierre-Yves LAGRAVERE

The two lines you quote aren't errors, they're warnings and they're pretty standard fare. If there isn't anything else in the ODBC log, then the driver isn't returning any errors. I'm not sure why Access is failing, so let's look at the client configuration first.
    - I assume you've successfully installed the 8.1.6 client on the machine with Access. Were there any errors during the install?
    - You say you're using the 8.1.6 version of the Oracle ODBC driver-- can you look to see what the last digit of the version is? If possible, I'd start by downloading the most recent 8.1.6.x ODBC driver from OTN.
    - Check which version of the MDAC you have installed (new versions & a version checker are available from Microsoft at <http://www.microsoft.com/data>.
    - The ODBC driver you download above will list which versions of the MDAC it is expected to work with. Make sure your version is one of the listed versions.

  • 990FXA-GD80v2 - Won't restart (flashes error codes 19 and 36), no network access

This is a completely fresh build, everything just out of the box. I installed Windows 7 to a SSD, and immediately something seemed wonky: When the setup tried to restart my computer, the screen turned off but the computer kept running. The motherboard's LED error display alternated between codes 19 and 36. I let it run for about 15 minutes to see if it would eventually continue, but finally just held the power button and manually restarted the beast.
It turned back on fine and the setup completed, but now every time I restart the computer it has the same weird 19/36 code hangup and won't continue until I hold the power button. I tried clearing the CMOS, removing one stick of memory, and running a memory test. No dice. I also tried running a live update, but discovered that I cannot connect to the internet. The MSI network drivers are installed, and the wired connection in question works on my laptop, but I can't get either Windows or the UEFI to connect to the internet.
I found a very similar post on this forum (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=161306.0), but the question was ultimately never answered. So here's to hoping this thread will fare better.
Here are all my system specs:
    MBoard: MSI 990FX-GD80v2 AM3+
    BIOS: E7650AMS v11.12
    CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 AM3
VGA:   MSI R7770-2PMD Radeon HD 7770
    PSU:   Cooler Master Elite 460W ATX12V V2.31
    MEM: GeIl EVO Veloce DDR3 1600 (2x4GB)
HDD: Transcend 64GB SATA III SDD
OS: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
    (Not overclocked)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: Here's some additional info - when the restart hangup is occurring, the LED error display will show 19, then 36, then extremely briefly FF, then back to 19. The North Bridge phase light will show 1 phase mode for 19 and 36, then flash to 2 phase mode when on FF. The HD light will also flash on FF. The CPU phase light will always be full (8 phase).
Here's what the codes mean according to online documentation (via ami.com):
19 = Pre-memory South Bridge initialization is started
36 = CPU post-memory initialization. System Management Mode (SMM) initialization
FF = Recovery error (PEI) - Reserved for future AMI code (???)
Also I'll mention that I've tried re-installing Windows twice, setting up the SDD as both GPT and MBR. Didn't make any difference.

So I've just spent the last several hours testing this thing as thoroughly as possible. Here's how it went down:
    1) Took motherboard out of case and placed on cardboard box - problem persisted.
    2) Re-installed Windows - problem persisted.
