Error in Runtiem Workbench

Hi,
I have completed the Configuraion tasks for JDBC->XI->RFC scenario.
Activated all components and there was no error.
Now, In Runtime Workbench, i am unable to see my Adapters in active mode.
(They are disabled...)
Runtime Workbench--> Component Monitoring>Adapter Engine->Adapter Monitoring
In this path, we find list of Adpaters available in the Adapter Engine.
Now, my JDBC adapter should show either green or Red light, to show the detailed errors, if any.
But there is no light symbol and even if i click, i am getting message as follows....
"JDBC Adapter Monitoring is now part of Channel Monitoring"
What might be the problem...????

for PI7.0 you can check your adapter status in the communication channle monitoring..not in the adapte monitoring....there is no problem in this
check your JDBC adapter status in the Communication channle tab which is next to adapter monitoring and let us know what error youhave there

Could I know which version of Workbench you are using? Was it installed as a

Hi all,
We r in a middle of an implementation project. In eAM Maintenance Workbench,while updating a scheduled work. Errors occur.
1.FRM-40735:ON UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-04062
2.ORA-04062: Signature of package "APPS:EAM_WORKORDER_PKG" has been changed
Although, the invalid packages have been cleared. errors occur. Two days back we had applied three patches especially for errors in maintenance workbench. pls help me

i cannot able to implement it and the error message again shows "Preventive Maintenance Work Orders have not been either selected or implemented.Please check your selection"You are not supposed to receive this error if you have applied the patch in the following document successfully. If you still receive the same error, I believe you need to log a SR.

Error in installing Workbench 8.2. Trial..

Trying to install the Lifecycle ES trial....Followed the recommendation to install Acrobat 9 Pro extended first... this worked...
Installing the Workbench produces the following error. This is after putting in the serial number...and the installer having produced an installshield dialog box with command line options, and having pressed next on the release notes agreement..

What does this mean ? and what if anything can I do about it...

I am facing the same problem. I have ensured that I have followed all the steps given in the installation mannual. This clearly indicates there is some thing wrong with the workbench installble (trail version). I do not know is it by design (intentionally done by Adobe it self). If it is so, its shame on Adobe.

Error while launching Workbench ES 8.2 on windows Vista

I successfully installed Workbench ES 8.2 on windows Vista. When i was trying to launch Workbench it is throwing an error and it does not open workbench.
Error : An error has occurred. See the log file
C:\Program Files\Adobe\LiveCycle ES\Workbench ES\Workbench\workspace\.metadata\.log
I do not even have "\workspace\.metadata\.log" this directory at all.
Please help....

I ran into that problem too. If "Run as Administrator" doesn't work (I don't think it did for me), re-install Workbench in "C:\Adobe\" NOT "C:\Program Files\Adobe\", which is the default. I think the Program Files folder has some kind of security setting on it that doesn't allow Workbench to add log entries.
Once I did that, I've been able to run Workbench on Vista with little or no issue (even though technically Adobe doesn't support Vista yet).

1. I have configured an AS ABAP system to connect to the SLD successfully. In the Technical System List of SLD, it's named "TE1 on sap0810". (Successful)
2. After, i have created a Business System corresponding for this Technical System "TE1 on sap0810" with Client 810. In the Business System List of SLD, it's named "BUSINESS_SYSTEM_TE1CLNT810". (Successful)
3. And after, i log on into Runtime WorkBench and choose "Component Monitoring" Tab and choose Display all component, i get an error about the Business System "BUSINESS_SYSTEM_TE1CLNT810" for "Ping Status" and "Self-Test Status" as message below: (Error)

If you have created the TS & BS correctly in SLD
check the following points:
1)The JCO service might have been down...check it out....Sometimes it happens due to overloading of server...try to restart the server.....after clearing queue and cache restarting the server
2)check the RFC destinations AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER, AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER.

In the runtime workbench i have seen a error, the message direction is inbound. The error details are :
Delivery of the message to the application using connection AS2_http://seeburger.com/xi failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Cannot lookup the ra connectionFactory. Reason: Path to object does not exist at SeeXIAS2, the whole lookup name is deployedAdapters/SeeXIAS2/shareable/SeeXIAS2.: java.lang.Exception: Cannot lookup the ra connectionFactory. Error in Runtime Workbench, Component Monitoring, Proxy Runtime

I have the following error in the Runtime Workbench, under Component Monitoring->Integration Engines->Proxy Runtime. The error message is Ping Status: Unable to logon to system xxx in language EN with user XIRWBUSER. However, I am unable to find out where the account and password are specified in order to correct this. Any help would be appreciated.

it can be for some system configured on http destination or the sld system configured for this server.
take a look at tx sxmb_adm for the http destination to discover witch destination is been used. then, on sm59, find the server that is been called for this http destination and check on that server if this user is ok there.
to check sld, go to tx sld_apicust discover witch is the sld system configured for this server. After log on to sld system and check the user.
Maybe the user is ok on the destination system, so, check the password on sm59 (if the problem is with an http dest) or sld_apicust (if the problem is the connection to sld).

Error in Runtime WorkBench/Configuration/Save Configuration

Hi all,
In Runtime WorkBench, when i choose "Configuration" tab, and after choose "Save Configuration", i get an error message as below:
"Configuration saved RFC ping failed for the following RFC destinations (created upon saving) in the system DEV800: PMIDEV800, PMITST910"
In this case, my XI system has one Integration Server: DEV800 and one Business System TST910. Two RFC (Process Monitoring Infrastructure RFC) created: PMIDEV800, PMITST910 can't not function correctly. And i don't know how i can correct this error.
Anyone can please help me to correct this error?

Well after the SAP XI server was restarted and I tried to go back into the runtime workbench and then into the Component Monitoring I am getting another error.

Searching by aggregate type field leads to error message in Workbench

I defined a persistent pojo entity that contains an attribute as an aggregate type mapping.
Now I tried to query entities with an instance of that aggregate type as parameter to the query (TL expression query in the workbench).
First argument (query key) is the attribute of the entity (aggregate type), operator is EQUAL and second argument is the parameter which is of same aggregate type.
I thought this would be the natural way to query but the workbench shows an error message:
0251 - The expression (line 1.) on query readByOwner is invalid. When querying on a reference mapping, only unary operators (Is Null, Not Null) are supported.
Is this really an error? Where is the problem?
I found a similiar post from 2003 on this forum, saying that it is a bug, though I'm unsure if it is the same problem. I use the most recent version of Toplink and Workbench, so it's hard to believe that such a basic problem was not fixed for 5 years... was it?

I have recording messages using the TCD command.
My script (very simple):

I guess (but cannot test yet) I would manage to record those messages using SAPGUI command.
Is there anything wrong with my script?
My SAP_BASIS component is in version 620. I'm not using the ultimate version of eCATT (no WEBDYNPRO command, etc.). Could it be an explanation?

Runtime error using Migration Workbench 1.2.4.3.0 for MS-Access

I am having problems migrating an Access 2 database across to Oracle 8i release 8.1.5 on Windows NT SP5 using OMWB 1.2.4.3.0.
During the generation of the source model, the Migration routine halts with the following message :

Can anyone help with this one ? Is it related to DAO, and if so, how do I resolve it ?

Access 2000 databases are not supported. Only 2.0, 95 and 97 are supported. You can downgrade the 2000 database to Access 97 if you are not using any 2000 specific features and then use the Workbench. Note that you must have DAO 3.5 installed on the machine where the Workbench is running.

Error In Runtime Workbench (Integration Engine)

I have an issue with the PI Netweaver 7.0 SR3.We change the client from 001 to newclient by following SAP NOTE.
Everything is happening fine except while i use Transaction SXMB_IFR and then Run Time Work Bench in component monitoring Integration Engine is not in Healthy State,Its showing Yellow Signal and a message is like this
Is Web service security available?

Also Business Process Engine is also Showing Yellow Signal as

Internal Error in Specification workbench ( CG02)

Hi All,
We had raised an OSS message for an Internal error we were getting in the t code CG02 while entering the data for chemical properties.Below mentioned is the error message.
Internal program error; (SAPLC1AX RMWBPWB0 0 charact.-descr. not found)
SAP has asked us to refer the Note: 1146700 and adopt method 2 to fix the issue.Method 2 steps as in the Note 1146700 mentioned below.
Method 2: Call transaction SCC1 with a user-defined object list.
Prerequisites:
This is recommended if you have already made modifications to EH&S objects that are in the object list EHS_COMM24.
In your target client, the protection against the client copy is not activated.
Proceed as follows:
On the source client, create your own object list in which you specify the missing classes, characteristics and so on, that is, the complete delta. Call transaction SCC1 on your target client, specify 000 as the source client and specify the name of the last object list you created as the transport request.
Note that the user who executes this activity must have authorization for the client copy because the same functions (restricted to objects in your object list) are executed in this activity. The object list must be created once and can then be used for all clients.

Please can you let us know how do we adopt method 2 to fix the internal error issue.

Which part of the OSS response / OSS Note did you not understand?
Basically what is wrong in you system is:
You are missing some SAP EH&S class and characteristic definition in your client xxx (In your case it seems to be the object description).
However these classes and characteristics are in client 000.
The object list EHS_COMM24 contains all these classes and characteristics and can be used to bring them into your client xxx via the methods described in the OSS Notes - or see SAP help.
HOWEVER: If you have modified SAP EH&S Classes (SAP_EHS*) or characteristics they will be overwritten with the default delivery from client 000 if you use object list EHS_COMM24. Therefore - if you have modified classes or characteristics - you need to create your own object list containing only the classes and characteristics for which you get an error in CG02.

Is Sender File Adapter always throws error when there is no file?

Hi,
I have a simple question but can't find a straight answer to it. I have a Sender File adapter that configured to pick up file XXX* from FTP server every 1 hour. But a file can come every 2, 3, or 7 hours- no certain time.When there is no file I got "File not found " error. As we use alerts, this behaviour is not acceptable.
Does this error comes always if there is no file? Any possible way to avoid this error ?

I can see the error in Runtime Workbench under CC monitoring. To be precise it says:
An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server '1X.1XX.XX.XX:21'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 552 RMS-E-FNF, file not found, ES4_SAP*'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor.
My ftp server has the following set up:
Server: xx.xxx.xx.xx
Port:21
Dataconnection:Active
Timeout:120
Connection secuirity: None
User name .... etc set up.
Connect mode: Per file transfer
Transfer mode:Text
QoS:EO
Pollinterval: 120 (for test purposes)
Processing Mode: delete
Can it be that its a ftp server generates error and sends back to XI?
