Error in SAP Stock Creation - MB1C

Dear,
I am facing an Error while creating SAP Stock Creation through MB1C.
The error is "Material XYZ is not maintained in Plant 1234".
Plz can any one explain what the user have to do in order to maintain this material in the Plant 1234.
This material is created through MM01 & its Plant is 1234.

Message no. M3351
To overcome this error;
No material master data exists for material XYZ in plant 1234. This may be for one of the following reasons:
In this case, create the plant data by maintaining material master record XYZ from the Purchasing, MRP, or Storage view.
If your material is a planned material, that is, the data has been scheduled for this plant level for a future point in time.
In this case, you can display the planned changes for the material.

SAP posting period error while mainting stock in MB1C

Error Description:-
While I am maintain the stock in MB1C i got an error i.e.
Error:- Postingonly possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code CLC1 ( CLC1 is mycompany code.)
To resolve this error I did some pre-requisite,
First :- In OB29, I define my fiscal year variant ( Here, I copied the K4 andrename S4 and save )
Second :- then, in OB37, I Assign fiscal year variant to company code.
Third :- I define variant for open postingperiod, ( Here, I define my ownvariant to use the following menu path - IMG-- FAFinancialaccounting global settingsDocuments-- Posting periods--Define variant forposting periods).
Forth:- in OB52, i define the open and close posting periods ( Here, in new entries i choose my variantwhich i define in 3rd step and define myperiods).
still system not allowing me the current dated posting, then i use the following step to resolve the error,
I mgoing to MMPV for close the periods. (here I closed all periods, month wisetill 2012/01).
stilli got the same error, so Icheck MMRV & OMSY, weather postingperiods change or not.. ( Here, systemshows me backdated posting periods i.e. 2006/12).
Kindly help me to resolve this error.

Return code 8 is not permitted with BAdI 'FAGL_PERIOD_CHECK'

You will need the help of an abaper in solving this , as a BAdi FAGL_PERIOD_CHECK - Posting Period Check has been activated.
Please check the implementation of the BAdi , i feel that it has not been implemented properly.
This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to extend the existing check of open posting periods.
The result of the period check is provided to you as a parameter (CH_SUBRC). In your implementation, you can derive this parameter again (for example, if a posting is rejected under a certain condition).
The following values are allowed for parameter CH_SUBRC:
0 Posting allowed
4 Period & is not open for account type & and general ledger &
6 No authorization for posting period & &
This is a custome developemnt , so only the ABAper present at your end will be able to resolve it.

Error -while updating stock in MB1C for make to order (561-E)

Hi all,
I have created a sales order with reference to quotation.
Stock is updating for Quotation number. But i stock should be updated to the sales order number.
When i am updating the stock for this sales order number, its not accepting. Its asking the preceding number.
system shows the following error,
"Account assignment cannot be carried out because of different origin no.
Message no. V1134
Diagnosis
The sales document to which you want to refer is based on sales document 10000001 and item 000010. Therefore, the settlement and possibly inventory management are carried out using the number of the preceding document.
System Response
This entry is not allowed.
Procedure
Enter the document and the item number of the preceding sales document."

Please check the FSV (field status variant) for your company code in OBY6 .
then go to transaction code OB14 --> enter the FSV --> Check if field status group G006(Material account) is maintained there or not.
if not please maintain it.

Error when CRETING STOCK INITIAL UPLOAD USING MB1C

THE ERROR IS : The number range for document number assaignment has not been maintained in the year 2011 for the transaction event type WA.
we are getting this error while creating stock initial upload using t.code MB1C.
and another ERROR is : Number range for trans/event type WA in year 2011 does not exist.
please give me the solution to this error.

Hi Dear,
Use T . Code u2013 OMBT, then go to change interval , then go to edit > insert year (f6) and mention in year 9999 and choose the number range interval from number to number and mention in current number is 0 and save exit.

Issue while removing stock using MB1C - 562

Hi,
Our client has few materials for which batch number is captured in small alphabets and now when we are trying to remove stock using MB1C - 562 system gives error of Deficet Qty as it automatically changes small letters to CAPITAL letters as soon as we press enter on MB1C. We are doing stock removal activity as client is migrating from old SAP system to ECC and we have to remove stock data from old system.
We are using an ABAP program for removing stock but in background it uses MB1C - 562 mvt type but for few materials we are getting this issue of small letters.
Please let me know if there is any way we can remove these stock records with small letter batch number via 562 mvt type

As I already said: no matter what movement type you use, you cannot make SAP posting this batch number.
Find out the way how this stock was posted into SAP. and use the same way to get it off SAP.
I think you have to convert the batch number into capital letters before you can goods issue the stock. For this you may need to create an own report that does a hard update in SAP tables MCHA, MCH1 and MCHB (maybe more ... I cant look into your system, you may have to contact SAP to get help which tables need to be amended or which conversion exit needs to be switched off)

Error Addition to stock of material A in storage type 002 is not allowed

I am doing GR for PO in WM. During TO creation I am getting this error Addition to stock of material A in storage type 002 is not allowed. Hence no storage bins can be entered. May I know under what scenarios this type error props up?

As you can read in the help, other factoers such as capacity may influence this.

When I am trying to post stock in MB1C, I am unable to proceed further as the system shows the error "Account determination for entry INT GBB ____ BSA 7900 not possible
Message no. M8147",
When I am trying to correct the entry in OBYC, i get an error "No changes for user SAP* allowed; Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'."
Please help.

currency every where you have to mauntain the same like sales org- company code -plant- shipping point- you can't maintain defferent place difference currency.
maintain every where same currency noe go to FS00 give G/L account 799999 and go to control data change the currency i don't think you will have the problam.

we have creating new plant with reference to old plant. While create stock through MB1C with movement type 521, system given the error message "Busi area 1A not allowed for CoCode 1100; Check whether Busi area is blank" Message no. /EACA/GL_TOOLS006.

Error in BW project creation in HANA

I faced an issue with creation the BW project in HANA
I have already installed SAP HANA Studio, established connection to my server with HANA. Also I installed all necessary plugins:
- Add-ons of ABAP development tools for SAP HANA (Developer Edition) v.2.24
- BW Modeling Tool for SAP HANA v.1.1
I performed all steps from this guide: Configuring the ABAP Back-end for ABAP Development Tools
My user in the system has two ABAP roles: SAP_BC_DWB_ABAPDEVELOPER and SAP_BC_DWB_WBDISPLAY. They are activated and correct, authorization profiles are assigned.
The error is the following:
When I try to create BW project in HANA system, I'm able to choose my connection. The connection is insecure without SNC. On the next screen I enter my login and password and get the error message:

HANA user is differ from BW user if it matters
Dear experts, please, help me to figure out this tricky problem.

Hi everyone!
The one I found out is authorization profiles for 2 roles were generated badly. Some of the auth. objects were added but some were not.
After regeneration, HANA allowed me to create BW project but there were also additional error messages. In su53 I checked that now is missing:
-- S_ADT_RES object with URI
   /sap/bw/modeling/discovery
/sap/bw/modeling/repo/is/dbinfo

Please search in google with the error message and definitely you will get some older posts in SDN which is solved.
In that case , you need not wait for the solution as it is already available.
