Error in Sharepoint 2013.

I have upgraded sharepoint 2010 application into sharepoint 2013. i am getting the below error message when i excuted the SP2013 application.
Sorry, something went wrong
Failed to get value of the "Request Type" column from the "Managed Metadata" field type control. See details in log. Exception message: Invalid field name. {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}

so kindly advise how to resolve this issue.
One more question, any limitation to upgrade SP2013 from SP2010 application. kindly advise.

I'd guess on the following. One of your content types are referencing an managed field type. This reference is set by ID and not name. When you move the solution to a new server, the ID's of the managed metadata might change, if the managed metadata is not
moved with ID's. This will break your references and might lead to the error you are seeing.
Something along the lines of this:

1. Are you able to browse the sites on SP server. server is unavailable means that application pool
of that site is down. Check application pool on all server. if you start any application pool. make sure it does not stop few minutes later. you need to update password if it does stop
2. Create a disable loopbackcheck of registry on all servers

Workflow Suspended error in sharepoint 2013

I have created one list and attached one workflow to send notification mail when item is creatd.
The problem is while i created the item ,notification mail triggers.But the when other user creates item,the workflow get suspended and showing the following error.

I tested below steps on library and worked.
Added the System account to Full control Permission on bin folder and GAC.(workflow "app" would need to have higher or elevated permissions)
Confirmed that this account have full control on the Web application.
Checked Site actions > Site Settings > Site features > Workflows can use app permissions > Activate.
Performed an IISReset.
Account was showing as SharePointApp now in place of System account.
SharePoint 2013 workflow are working as expected now.

Listform webpart is throwing error in SharePoint 2013

Hi,
I have added a listform webpart(newform of a SPlist) to a page. But,the page is throwing "Object Reference Not Found" error. If i replace the listform webpart with custom list form, i am not getting any error.
Please let me know if i need to make any change in the SharePoint 2013 site. Any help is highly appreciated.

Could not load file or assembly AjaxToolkit error in SharePoint 2013 Visual Webpart

I wanted to use ajax controls in visual webpart for sharepoint 2013 so i followed steps.
1-I cut this snippet (see below) from <head></head> Section and paste in <body></body> Section for my master page since it's a requirement for SharePoint 2013 ajax functionality.

2-downloaded a latest ajax tool kit and then added ajax toolkit dll from the toolkit library in my solution's bin-->debug folder
now add ajax entries in web.config in these sections

Visual Webpart Sandboxed Solution Error in SharePoint 2013

I am trying to insert a visual web part using sand boxed solution on a page.But when i insert a web part on page i get the following error.
"Web Part Error: Unhandled exception was thrown by the sandboxed code wrapper's Execute method in the partial trust app domain: The type is not registered as safe".
Please suggest how do i get rid off this error as I've to use sand boxed solutions not farm solution.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used visual web part solution in SharePoint 2013.
Whether you have enabled the web part solution in Site Collection Administrator->Site Collection features.
Whether there were some non-authorized methods called in your code.

Error - Connecting SharePoint 2013 with OWA

We are configuring OWA on SharePoint 2013.
Installation and configuration of OWA is done are when the "https://<InternalName>/hosting/discovery" is typed in browser, XML is being displayed on the Web Front end server.
There is an error on running the below command on the web front end server:

I am struck here, should i re install the certificate?

I've installed SQL Server 2012 SP1 + SP server 2012 + SSRS and PowerPivot add-in.
I also configured excel services correctly. Everything works fine but the powerview doesn't work!

Based on the current error message, the error can be related to the
Claims to Windows Token Service (C2WTS) and is an expected error under certain conditions. To verify the issue, please check the aspects below:
     1. The C2WTS Windows service and C2WTS SharePoint service are both running.
     2. Check the SQL Server Browser service is running on the machine that has the PowerPivot instance of SSAS.
     3. Check the domain. You're signing into SharePoint with a user account in some domain (call it Domain A). When Domain A is equal to Domain B which SharePoint server itself is located (they're the same domain), or Domain
A trusts Domain B.
In addition, the error may be caused by Kerberos authentication issue due to missing SPN. In order to make the Kerberos authentication work, you need to configure the Analysis Services to run under a domain account, and register the SPNs for the Analysis
Services server.
To create the SPN for the Analysis Services server that is running under a domain account, run the following commands at a command prompt:

"Sorry, we couldn't find your file. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" Error with SharePoint 2013 and Office Web Apps

When I try to open any docx file from the SharePoint it opens on web via office web apps, and when I choose edit document > edit in Word , Microsoft word show me this error "Sorry, we couldn't find your file.
Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" followed by half a url to the end users document on onedrive.
I noted that this problem only happens with Docx files, with specific users and only when you try to open the Docx file from OneDrive folder ( SkyDrive ) which is hosted in the MySite.
Any Help?

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to open the Docx file from OneDrive folder ( SkyDrive ).
Since this problem only happens with Docx files, with specific users, I recommend to delete and recreate the personal site for the specific users.

Workflow Canceled Error in Sharepoint 2013

A new SP 2013 installation, one server with SP, WF, etc and the other is simply SQL Server. Went through the installation steps for Workflow including the powershell bits. In designer, I am able to create a simple workflow and select 2013 as the type.
When the workflow is run, is shows internal status is canceled and has the following error text below. Note that I am running the workflow as a basic user, not as a system account.

I've found few instances of this via various searches, most discuss not running the workflow as a system account, which is not the case here. The other mentions User Profile Service. I have no desire to have My Sites setup and whenever I start looking at

The WF is designed in SPD2013 and it has below steps..
1. Send email to sharepoint group member.
2. Start WF task with same group.
3. Add item to another list based on WF Outcome variable value.

I have single server stand alone setup, everything on one server. Setting done for SMTP server on Central Admin out going mail and I am receiving the mail.
User ID used to to login to server is a member of Farm admin and also has Site Collection Admin rights. The WorkFlow service is running using different service account.

i have sharepont server 2013 installed on 64 bit machine ,i have document center site which have many excel sheets
i tried to open an excel sheet xlsx on browser unsing excel web access but it gaves me the following error message
Excel Services Sorry we are sorry.we ran into a problem completeing your request.please try that again in afew mintues
i google this error and i configured excel services then added the site url in trusted site location then restart iis
and try again but the problem did not solve any suggestions?

How to Resolve HTTP 500 error in sharepoint 2013 workflow

I am new to Sharepoint. I have created a workflow for sending if a document added or edited in a document library. When i added a document i
workflow status shows workflow started. But when checked in the internal status of the workflow it shows as cancelled.

How to resolve this error. It shows http 500 error.

Go to one of your SharePoint boxes, open op powershell and get teh logs around the "SPRequestGUid" you see in your message... Do something like this:
Merge-SPLogFile -path "Desktop\wferror.log" -correlation 2bfd5ec9-1fd1-de92-ccc2-1f2a912c49ce
This will basically grab log files from all boxes ULS logs that have to do with that transaction.
*** not sure how far back it will look depending on your log size, but sometimes I've had to reproduce another error (with a new SPGuid) and then Merge logs with that Correlation...
Once you get this file, you can open it with ULSViewer and then you can filter/sort by Product/Category/ErrorLevel/etc... this will definitely help you determine what the issue is. The key is that SPRequestGuid (which is the "Correlation ID"
that you see when you get SharePoint Unexpected errors to reference the log files...
