Hi guys,
I have a doubt regarding "single step plant transfer"
when i give material, plant and location in MB1B with
movement type "301". after entering it and giving all the
information like Material, quantity, and recieving Plant
and if i enter i get this error
"Material 1232 not maintained in plant JOP2"
matrl no : 1232
source plant JOP1 recieving plant JOP2
kindly help me to overcome this error
regards
Jino

hi
Material 1232 not maintained in plant JOP2
This means you have to extend this material to plant JOP2
Go to MM01 and enter the material number 1232 at both Material no & Ref no
then press enter
in the next screen select all views & enter in the next screen enter the plant from & plant to. as JOP2
just keep on pressing enter & Save.
This will mainatin material in required plant

  • 1074396080 error in VI created by Vision assistant But no err in single stepping

I occasionally get 1074396080 error while runing a Labview VI "created" by NI Vision Assistant 8.0. When i don't get the error the caliper readings are wrong but while single stepping no error comes up and the caliper results are correct.

    Hello apurva062,
Thank you for using National Instruments discussion forums.  The error you are receiving deals with incompatible data types.  Most likely in the Vision Assitant script you are testing the script using a test image that is in the right format but in the LabVIEW VI you are acquiring the image in a different format (for example wrong bit depth).  How are you acquiring your images in LabVIEW?  Are there any other differences between Vision Assistant and LabVIEW?  If you want to post the Vision Assistant script you are using I can take a look at it.  Thanks and have a great day.

  • Single Step STO Mvt 301 for Stock transfer beteen Company code during Cutover

    Dear All ;
I am Planning to use Movement type 301 ie single step STO Beteeen two different company code at the time of Cutover .Is it a feasible solution ?
I am Currently handling a  Org Restructuring Project ,Where one company code will be broken into five different company code ( Including Old Company code ) ,and old som of the stock of old company code needed to be shifted to new 4 company codes .
In this Context i am thinking to use 301 ,will it be a feasible solution ?
I have tested in IDES ,It is working ,But I need to be confirm as there is hudge data to be migrated .
    Best Regadsl;
    Joydeep Mukherjee

    Hi Joy,
You can do this in one step as you already have tested in IDES, but depends on your business requirement that in which way you want to handle your stock transfers either by using one step or two steps movement types or by using stock transport orders. Using STO is a good approach for stock transfers between two company codes.

  • Two step stock transfer process

    hi All,
i want to transfer material XYZ from plant AA to plant BB  in 2 step stock transfer. Qt= 2000
So first i am trying to remove stock from plant AA in 303 movement type.
system throughing error message " Deficit of PL Stock in transfer 48000 PC:    XYZ       BB
    ERROR Message no. M7 021
after analysis i found that in plant BB , in Stck trans.(plnt)  , stock is showing  (  - 50000)
i wonder how this stock got negative.
    please help resolving this issue.
any help will be highly appreciated.
    thanks in advance
    regards,
    Anubhab

    hi Pankaj,
in both plant AA & BB , negative stock is allowed.
now i found that if i put the quantity equal to or more than 50000 , then system not giving error.
but if i put a smaller qt , say 1000, then system deducting it from 50000 & showing deficit 49000  at plant BB.
so the question is can't i transfer less than 50000 qt to BB from AA?
Also what is meaning of 50000 qt showing as negative in stock in transfer stock ? does it mean that with out posting 303 at plant AA , customer has posted 305 at plant BB?
Please help me understand. thanks .

  • Stock, plant to plant Transfer with a Profit Margin

    Dear Experts,
Before raising the question let me explain a little about the existing process and configuration in a nutshell.
We have one company with two business areas(identical with Plant, used from the point of Org unit, We are using BA to get BA wise P&L and balance for selected BS GL a/c),  also we have activated Profit center accounting but not used PCA from org. unit point of view but and alternative perspective it is used.(Product category wise)
BA1(Plant1) produce product most for the use in to BA2(Plant2) and we use STO to transfer such stock from Plant 1 to Plant 2.
as per this scenario Stock Cost is being transferred from BA1 to BA2 and we re-post the related indirect cost(admin cost) also from BA1 to BA2 to arrive at Profitability of BA1.
Now the business has identified some practical issues because cost which are related to BA1 can also be re-posted to BA2 and BA1 will show up a good bottom line while BA2 will bear unrelated cost. Also the inefficiency in production at plant 1 is also not that easy to analyze due to the current method.
Business wanted to avoid this but since both plant are in same company code we are unable to follow the stock transfer from plant to plant with Delivery and Billing,
Finally, Business has requested below that they want to do the transfers with a marginal profit to plant 2(BA2) and Material Cost(COGS) will remain in plant 1 and when BA 2 use it such stock will be posted in consumption.
is this process logical according to the SAP process and can we get the result by activating transfer posting. Is there any alternative method that we can fulfill the requirement.
    Pls. advice.
    Thanks in advance .
    Aziz

    Hi Parth,
Thanks for you idea.. I refer below MM plant to plant transfer methods, Stock transfer from plant to plant can be done in different ways as i have learnt.they are mentioned below.
Stock Transfer Between Plants in One Step
Stock Transfer Between Plants in Two Steps
    Stock Transport Order Without Delivery
Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping
Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing Document/Invoice
The Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing Document/Invoice -  cannot be done between same plants in a single Company code it referes to Cross company transfers only
follow below thread to learn about it further
Stock Transfer Using a Stock Transport Order - Managing Special Stocks (MM-IM) - SAP Library
but i'm not clear how you are doing your SO-PO transaction in same company code between plants.
Can you share me more information on this if you have.
    Rgds,
    Aziz

  • 2 Step Stock Transfer Using WM Transport Order??

    Dear SAP expertes,
I have a problem, I think a lot of you too; that is stock transfer in 2 steps from one storage location to another (mov. types 313-315), but using o referencing a reservation.
SAP says that is not possible create reservations for 2 step stock transfer in MM, but also says use "Stock Transfer Orders" instead, that means use module WM.
Do anyone could transfer stock from one storage location to another using WM Stock Transfer Orders? I tried, but couldn't make it. In anyone have documention to do this I will appreciate it a lot.
    Best regards,
    Favio.

    Hi Jürgen L.
I was checking SAP Note  "28692 - MMIM: Reservation for a two-step stock transfer", and you were right, they say "Use the stock transport order instead of the stock transfer reservation".
I confused with WM stock tranfer order, but I want to ask you if you have used UB transport order between storage location of the same plant?
    Best regards,
    Favio.

  • VI Works Single Step at a Time, But Not When Run Normally

I'm very new to LabView and have created a simple VI to record a single measurement from my HP 34401A Multimeter over an RS 232 connection.
The problem that I'm having is that the VI only works when I run it a single step at a time (clicking the single step button until it's completed).  When I try to run the entire thing though, I get the following error:
Error -1073807339 occurred at VISA Read in Untitled 2
    Possible reason(s):
VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.
After reading through the help page for that error, I tried adding a time delay, but that did not fix the problem.
NI I/O Trace didn't provide any answers for me, but I've attached a shot.  Lines 1-13 are from the single step run, the rest are from attempting to run the entire thing at once.
Can anyone please help me understand what's going on here?  Thanks in advance!

The only thing I can think of is that you are sending the remote command and then not waiting long enough for it to complete.  The manual states:
It is very important that you send the
    SYSTem:REMote command
to place the multimeter in the remote mode. Sending or receiving data
over the RS-232 interface when not configured for remote operation can
    cause unpredictable results.
And I think we are experiencing unpredictable results.
i don't know if you can change the command into a query by using the *OPC? command, but using that could solve it - or we could run into the same issue because of the caveat mentioned above.  Maybe you have to put a manual wait in between the remote command and the write command.

  • Plant to plant transfer in Q status

    Hello,
Can someone please provide the steps to configure movement type to allow plant to plant transfer of stock with Q status? Can this be accomplished with custom movement type configuration or a user exit is available? Please advise.
    Thanks,
    avi

    Hi Avi,
    have you tried Transaction QAC2?
I think you should be able to move Plant stor. loc. to Plant stor. loc.
Edit: You will have to make sure that QM has been set up for the receiving plant as well.

  • Two step and Single step Reservations

    hi
am bit confused with the following.
can anyone tell me why cant we use the Reservations for the two step procedures for stock transfer and why for single step procedures?
    regards

    Hi,
It is a very good question and one that is not that easy to answer (and it <u>should</u> be easy).
I have tried to figure out why this should be the case and I cannot think of anything concrete.
perhaps it relates to the use of in-transit and in-transfer stock, perhaps the system cannot cope with reservations that affect these transit stock areas? I don't know why it cannot cope with these but perhaps it relates to the ability to trace reservations from within transactions such as MMBE etc. perhaps it is too difficult to show a list of reservations that are increasing in transit stock?
Sorry i can't help a lot with this, but the above is the only thing I can imagine would be the reason?

  • One Step Stock transfer

    Hello All,
Can you please let me know the answer to the problem that I am facing.
Can we transfer the stock from one plant to another plant in one step stock transfer procedure taking the reference of STO already created ?
I know that it is done in MB1B using Movement type 301. But the question is, can I take the reference of STO created for transfering material in One step Procedure.

    Thanks for Replying...
I have checked the settings for both these plants and the One step Procedure is selected and the document type is also UB.
As soon as I create a STO between plant 1000 and Plant 1200, the material starts showing in as open order quantity in plant 1200.
How to physically transfer the goods between these two plants taking the reference of STO ?

  • Single-step deployment article from July/August Oracle Magazine Question

    Hi,
As I worked through the article "Single-Step Deployment" on Oracle magazine July/August Issue,
I ran into a problem on substep 9 of Step 3 to
change the option of P2_MANAGER_ID with LOV.
    The error I got is
LOV query is invalid, a display and a return value are needed, the column names need to be different. If your query contains an in-line query, the first FROM clause in the SQL statement must not belong to the in-line query.
    Did anyone encounter same problem?
Any suggestion to deal with this error?
    Thanks for any advice.

    Hi,
Have you given your column names aliases?
    Cheers,

  • Issue with Plant to Plant Transfer Mvt type 301

    Hi,
I'm trying to do a Plant to Plant Transfer using MB1B/MIGO,mvt type 301, from a plant / Storage location which is NON HU managed to a plant / Storage location which is HU Managed, I'm getting this error,
    Message No : VL296.
HU cannot be delivrd from plant XXX stor. loc. XXX to plant YYYY stor. loc  YYYY
Has anyone come across this error ? Any solutions?
    Many thanks
    Feroz

    Hi Feroz
In HU-managed storage locations, materials can be managed in HUs only. Mixed stock made up of packed and non-packed materials within the same storage location are not supported. HUs can also be managed in interim storage types.
if you want to use 311 to move the material already in stock, but in a non HUM Storage Location and you want to transfer those materials into a HUM Storage Location 304.  If this is the case you can use the transaction VLMOVE with the destination plant and storage location. Before that you have to create the HU with the transaction code HU02 Storage location: where the material is and the status: in stock

  • I am getting errors related to a plant not in that plant range .

I have created a costing run for company code 6000  and defined a plant number range in the Selection Parameters However, I am getting errors related to a plant not in that plant range .  Can you explain this?

    What does the error say?
If you get this when you try to mark or release the Cost Estimate, you should be able to ignore the error. The system complaints that Marking has not been allowed for some plants etc. Nothing of significance.
Else, check the transfer control. Either way, maybe we can answer better if we know what the error is.
    Cheers.
