Error in Step 67/450 of Configuration Wizard

Dear All,
I have installed PI 7.1 recently. Currently I am running Configuration Wizard through Configuration Management> Scenarios> Configuration wizard. The Wizard fails in step 67/450 ( This step will send the system data to sld server to make it visible immediately).
The error message says :
Error: failed to send Data. Target URL http://sappidev:50000/sld/ds, Sstatus 401, Message : Unauthorized.
Kindly suggest what could be the reason. Am I missing some preparatory step ?
Thanks
Jitendra Tayal

Dear All,
I restarted the System and I was able to go through the step 67.
Thanks !

  • Error running SOA 11g Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard

    Hi,
I'm running Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuration Wizard ./config.sh after a new&fresh installation of SOA 11.1.1.3.0 on standalone laptop with linux CentOS in order to create a soa_domain on WLS. All steps & tests_connections to the database rcu/soa schemas are OK, but conf wizard freezes (java 99% CPU) at the end of the procedure, when saving the domain.
    Any hint is welcomed.

    thx,
    Mihai

I understood that 11.1.1.3 installs over 11.1.1.2. I download 11.1.1.3, runInstaller of 11.1.1.3 on the same SOA_HOME as 11.1.1.2 and installer finished without errors. I'am not aware if other "things" should be installed/configured. It seems that WizzardController didn't change the version of what it writes in its logs.
(that pb with the config.sh - create domain - was present also in my 11.1.1.2 installation; that is the reason I installed the upgrade to 11.1.1.3 - just to try to resolve somehow this issue).
    thanks,
    Mihai

  • Errors in few of the step while running configuration wizard for PI 7.0

    hi all,
i have installed Netweaver 2004s (PI 7.0) quality. during installation i had chosen sld option to be my development system as i wanted to use just single SLD.
now for the post installation steps i had run Configuration wizard. i haven't yet implemented Note : 939592 : PI Usage configuration versus Central SLD as it says first i need to perform all CTC steps.
now in this i got error in few steps:
STEP1 : PI_00_This wizard will execute Postinstall steps of technical configuration for the PI Usage
the error was: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Object manager is not activated
PI_05_This wizard will configure the integration server for sld.
    The error was:
Error: CIM_ERR_FAILED: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access
PI_09_This wizard will configure Role of Integration server
Not able to load function SXMB_SET_ROLE_TO_IS( Connect to SAP gateway failed).
    What should i do?
    Regards,
    Priyanshu Srivastava

    Hi Priyanshu,
"Object manager is not activated" simply means, that the SLD server is not started. So, please, first of all navigate to the SLD URL http://<host>:<httpport>/sld, login with an administrative SLD user -> Admininstration and push the star button.
    Regards,
    Blanca

    Hi All,
I am trying to set up a SP 2010 farm. I have windows server 2008 R2 installed and was able to install SP 2010 successfully. However when I ran the Sp 2010 Products and configuration wizard I am getting the following error at Step 3.
Failed to create the configuration database.

I have installed all the prerequisites and I am on Microsoft Geneva Framework 1.0.30624.0 . I saw on a blog that Microsoft Geneve Framework beta 2 will actually cause the above problem. However I encountered the error with Beta 1 version as well.

  • Track Configuration Wizard

    Hello,
i want to create a development configuration. I use this guide from help.sap.com:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/e1/b8f23ea4b42e5ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    (it is in german)
In step two a Track Configuration Wizard is mentioned. It seems to be a good wizard.
At first i shall start the CMS (i do it in the browser with http://:/devinf), choose the Lanscape Configurator and then click "Create Track".
But i cannot find this "Create Track" buttion on my UI.
    Can anyone help me?
It seems to be a good wizard.
    Best Regards,
    André

    Hello Andre,
just use the New button. Ensure that you first configured the domain.
    Best regards,
    Christian

  • Intranet DOWN!! Help, please!! I installed SP2010 SP2 and the Configuration Wizard Stopped at Step 5. I found errors 100 and 104 in the Event Viewer!

    Hi,
    Help, please.
Intranet DOWN!! Help, please!! I installed SP2010 SP2 and the Configuration Wizard Stopped at Step 5. I found errors 100 and 104 in the Event Viewer!
    Acording to these entries:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2011/08/19/two-commands-you-should-always-run-first-when-troubleshooting-companyweb.aspx
    https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.techtask.com%2Fsharepoint2010%2Ffehlermeldungen-nach-sharepoint-2010-service-pack-1-installation%2F
In order to fix this, I need to run:
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade b2b -force -inplace -cmd application content -install -cmd install features
But SP doesn’t recognize “b2b”.  is the the content or config db?
    Thanks in advanced

Your Syntax is bad. b2b should follow -inplace, it doesn't make sense anywhere else in the command. Have a look here for more detail:

Any body who has completed the configuration process please help me in this.
    Regards
    Satya

    Hi,
I think the problem can be solved by downloading from the marketplace and importing the content manually.
Here is a description of the process:

The exception was because we didnt have the needed files (correct me if I am wrong) (The import can be done before or after running the configuration wizard)

  • OIM 11g Server Configuration Wizard Error - Cannot Connect to Oracle DB

I appreciate any and all suggestions or thoughts on how to best continue troubleshooting this error that I am describing below.
I am attempting to install Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite 11g on a Windows 7 machine…in following the installation guides I have successfully installed the following Oracle Components
    - Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0
    - Created Schemas using RCU 11.1.1.3.3
    - Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.3.0
    - Oracle SOA 11.1.1.2.0
    - Oracle SOA 11.1.1.3.0 (Patch Set)
    - Oracle IAM SUITE 11.1.1.3.0
Following the above installations, I created a new WebLogic Domain and as the next step am running the OIM Configuration Wizard to configure the OIM Server, however I am unable to setup a connection to the Oracle DB via the OIM Configuration Wizard. I am getting an error message when attempting to setup the connection to the Oracle Database using the OIM 11g Server Configuration Wizard:
    ERROR:*
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
*+[DETAILS] Check the values. Make sure the Database is up and running and connect string, user name, and password are correct.+*
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
*+[DETAILS] Check the values. Make sure the Database is up and running and connect string, user name, and password are correct.+*
When installing the Oracle Database 11gR2 I used the following install configuration:
    Oracle base: C:\MyApps\Oracle
    Software location: C:\MyApps\Oracle\DB_HOME\11.2.0\dbhome_1
    Database file location: C:\MyApps\Oracle\DB_HOME\oradata
Database Edition: Personal Edition (3.27 GB)
    Character Set: Unicode (AL32UTF8)
    Global database name: orcl.dev.com
    Administrative Password: Password1
    Confirm Password: Password1
When creating my Schemas using RCU 11.1.1.3.3 I used the following Database Connection Details
    DB TYPE: Oracle Database
    HOST NAME: localhost
    PORT: 1521
    SERVICE NAME: orcl.dev.com
    USERNAME: sys
    PASSWORD: Password1
    ROLE: SYSDBA
I used a Prefix of “DEV” when creating the schemas so Schema Owners DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS where created. Also, I configured to use the same password for all Schemas: “Password1″. So the password for DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS should be the same, “Password1″.
    REPRODUCING THE ERROR
To reproduce the error, when I launch the Oracle Identity Management 11g Configuration Wizard I am first brought to the “Welcome” Screen. I click the [Next>] button.
Next, I am on the “Components to Configure” screen where I select OIM Server and OIM Design Console and click the [Next>] button. (NOTE I have also tested by simply selecting only the OIM Server)
Next, I am on the “Database” screen where I enter the connection information
    Connection String: localhost:1521:orcl.dev.com
(NOTE I have also tested using localhost:1521:orcl)
    OIM Schema User Name: DEV_OIM
    OIM Schema Password: Password1
    MDS Schema User Name: DEV_MDS
    MDS Schema Password: Password1
When I click the [Next>] button after entering the Database Connection details I encounter the following two errors (1 error for each logon DEV_OIM and DEV_MDS)
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
INST:6102 Unable to connect to the database with the given credentials.
    TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE: I can successfully start the Oracle DB Services and connect via the Enterprise Console, SQL Plus, and JDBCTest Java Client…I just cannot get past this connection error in the OIM Server Configuration Wizard.

Whenever installing oracle databases, i install the software only first. Then i setup the listener. Then i create a database instance using the dbca tool. This way all the information is added to the pre-existing listener configurations rather than trying to create the listener afterwards. Also, during the dbca database creation, i supply a full service name such as orcl.hostname and use the service name in future configurations where it asked. This usually solves any issues of the listener or database not being found correctly.

  • ADS configuration wizard has errors in CE 7.2?

Just installed CE 7.2 (JAVA only) and deployed Adobe Document Services.  I tried to use the configuration wizard for ADS and 3 steps errored out for the following reasons:
STEP:  MAINTAIN ABAP TO ADS CONNECTION - ERROR:  JCO_ERROR_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND: DEST_EXISTS
STEP:  CONFIGURE LOGICAL PORTS FOR WEB SERVICE CONSUMER PROXIES - ERROR:  Not able to load Function FPRFC_CONFIG_LOGPORTS (cause:Function template FPRFC_CONFIG_LOGPORTS could not be retrieved.).
STEP:  CREATE CONNECTION DEPENDENT CONFIGURATION (FPCONNECT) - ERROR:  Not able to load Function FPRFC_CONFIG_FPCONNECT (cause:Function template FPRFC_CONFIG_FPCONNECT could not be retrieved.).
Has anyone used the configuration wizard successfully in CE 7.2 for ADS?
Does anyone know what these errors mean?
    Thank you!

I am closing this.  I found out that you can only use the wizard if you have an ABAP+JAVA double stack system.  I did the configuration manually and it worked.

    Hi,
From your narration, you can clear the configuration cache, then re-run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, check the effect.
Cleared the cache of config database by following below steps.
    1. Stopped the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service.
    2. Started on the SharePoint Server where Central Administration Site is hosted. Browse to
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\SharePoint\Config\
    3. Deleted all the xml files. (But do not delete the cache.ini file.)
    4. Then Edited the cache.ini and replaced the current value with "1".
    5. Restarted the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service on the Central Admin server .

  • Re-Installing SharePoint Foundation 2010 - Product Configuration Wizard Error

So i recently had to start fresh on my SharePoint development server. My database was left remaining on a different server during this process.
So after re-installing SharePoint 2010, I told it to connect to an existing server farm, and then put my database server name in, from which it was able to retrieve the database name. After this step though i ran into my problems... For some reason it is
saying i don't have the appropriate software installed to finish the Configuration Wizard, when i know i have it.
What can I do to fix this problem?

    Hi Zipatones,
Honestly, it is difficult to diagnose the cause of your issue since there could be several reasons. The best I can do is give you several options one of which might be the solution.
    1) During the configuration I would let SharePoint setup a new Config database. Then setup a new web application with the same URL as your original one. Instead of creating a site collection, detach that database and attach your original database.
    2) Do the same for the service applications. Setup new service applications and then detach and attach the original databases. I highly recommend you use powershell for service apps since you need to find the guids of both the application and its proxy.
    3) You need to make sure that the new SharePoint app server has the same version of updates (such as hotfixes) installed on your previous farm.
    Hope these recommendations help.
