    Hi,
The system is struck in import_proper phase while applying addon and its patch in STPI, I am getting the below eror :-
Kindly hlep urgently. Getting the same error event i added the requests to buffer again.
The installation was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase
IMPORT_PROPER, which the Add-On Installation Tool is unable to resolve
         without your input.
After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the
import by choosing Continue in the queue display.
The following details help you to analyze the problem:
             -   Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER
             -   Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY
             -   Return code: 0008
            -   Error message: Pkgs. in queue don"t exist in the tp buffer (e.g.
                 SAPKITLREB)
       Notes on phase IMPORT_PROPER
In this phase the system imports the Repository objects and the table
entries. The following are reasons why this phase may fail:
o   TP_INTERFACE_FAILURE: The tp interface could not be called.
o   TP_FAILURE: The tp program could not be executed. For more
information on this, see the SLOG or ALOG log file.
o   TP_STEP_FAILURE: A tp step could not be executed. To find the cause
of the error, see the appropriate log, such as the import log.
If a tp step 6, N, or S is specified in the termination message, it
is a step that is independent of the transport request. You can view
these logs in the log overview by choosing Import Steps Not Specific
           to Transport Request.
Alternatively, see the logs in the following files in the log
subdirectory of your transport directory (usually /usr/sap/trans/log):
             -   tp step 6: P<YY><MM><DD>.<SID>
             -   tp step N: N<YY><MM><DD>.<SID>
             -   tp step S: DS<YY><MM><DD>.<SID>
To display these files, use the report RSPUTPRT or transaction AL11.
The Add-On Installation Tool requires that the Change and Transport
System (CTS) be configured correctly. For more detailed information,
read the online documentation available from Help -> SAP Library ->
mySAP Technology Components -> SAP Web Application Server -> BC Change
         and Transport System .
A list of the most important SAP Notes for Online Correction Support
(OCS) is available in SAP Note 97620, which is updated regularly.

Check the steps to follow if you have already upgraded your repository database. I would suggets you read the upgrade guide thoroughly.
You already have another related thread here:

    Hello,
In OBIEE 11g, we had a problem that the map only appear if the language selected is English. To fix this error we need to install de pach "10352313" who fix the bug "10093985". I make all the steps that are in the manual. Download the last OPatch, install and configured. All the prerequisites are ok. When I went to the folder of the patch to run the comand "opatch apply -jre $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre" I had this error:

  • Error in writing to file encountered while applying patch 9.2.0.8

    Hi,
I encountered the error message below while applying Oracle 9.2.0.8 patch set using OUI on server running Oracle 9.2.0.7 and Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2:
Error in writing to file 'C:\oracle\ora92\BIN\orapls9.dll'
    [C:\oracle\ora92\BIN\orapls9.dll (he process cannot access
the file because it is being used by another process)]
I've already stopped the Oracle instance and services before invoking the setup.exe.
My question is: Why this is happening and what is the resolution to prevent this error from happening?

I used the script in the Metalink note 454040.1 and chose 5. I typed in the orapls9.dll to see which module is locking this dll and I found out it is avrrepsvc.exe which is one of the services our application is running. I just stopped it in Services Console and run the setup.exe of the patch. The installaton of patch run successfully. I checked the version using 'select banner from v$version' and I now got this results:
    SQL> select banner from v$version;

I have a related question. When checking from dba_registry, isn't it that versions of components should have been upgraded too? Please see below I what got:

....So, what could be the cause of the problem ? Do I need to increase table space through brtools command at ora<sid> ?!!
    Pl. help....
    Many thanks in advance...
    -Rupen Patel

    Thanks a lot everybody.
Although I had upgraded Kernel Patch Level from 43 to 155, the real cause was, it seems that was maxed out Oracle Table, ..as I found it through ST22 tr code which inturn displayed a logfile which displayed the details of error. I used brtools to extend the tablespace of a table, reapplied the patches thorugh SPAM and it worked out quite smoothly.
    Thanks again and Regards,

    Hello
See the logfiles adwork001.log to adwork004.log. The last lines show the errors ocurred. The best thing to do is to open an SR with Support sending those error messages.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
i dont understand why path is changing
    E:\inloc\ILP\patch\6410725\backup\patch / 115 / sql
1)did u give correct path of patch directory when installing patch?
2)are u installing the patch from inside the patch directory?if not do it and check
3)give full permission to everyone on the patch directory
    Regards
