Error in TDS Return file

Hi
We are processing the quaterly e returns for TDS. The out put generated by the system for Delhi is wrong. As per the notification from Income Tax, the code for Delhi is 09, where as the system is generating .xls file in which it is taking 30. I have updated table J_1ISTATECD and table J_1ISTATECDM despite of that it is taking value which is in vendor master.
please suggest me how to do this.

    You have to get the DAT file generated by SAP in a third party validation software for it to be accepted by NSDL. The out put provided by SAP is not compatible with NSDL Requirements

    Please go through this menu path and assign the Code for Country and Place :
    Financial Accounting(New)> Financial Accounting Global Settings(New)>Tax on Sales/Purchase>
    Basic Settings>Fiscal Regional Codes>Define Fiscal Regional Codes for Other Countries.
    Sometimes in SM30 you may find the maintainance dialog box for the tables as mentioned by
    our friends may not be defined or incomplete.  Hope this path may help you.

    Got this error when opening the peopletools application designer 8.49. The same is working fine within the server, but not working from the client's machine.
    We can still able to connect to the database & URL
    Please help by throwing some lights.

    Looks like a SQL error. ARe you able to connect to the database with SQL*Plus ? Probably the Oracle client is badly configured.

    I attempted to Schedule a Query to the Portal folders and executes fine.  However when it's scheduled to and email, I am getting this message

  • Music files in my PC's iTunes directory have been moved around, now iTunes' index is not recognizing them and returns error messages. The files have previously been sync'd to my iPod, but when I tried to sync back from the iPod, iTunes on the PC error'd.

    I want iTunes to reconstruct its index of my music.
    We accidentally moved files around in my <<C:\Documents and Settings\Jordan\My Documents\My Music\iTunes>> directory. We tried to move them back, but anyway, the iTunes program now no longer can find/play the titles that the opened iTunes page/Library displays.
    I had previously copied/syncd all my iTunes music to my iPod. I tried syncing back to the PC from the iPod.  No improovement.
    At the moment, my dad is on my computer, logged in under his name (with administrative permissions). It seems that looking at my iTunes music under his login is still working OK.
    I do not have my music backed up to the "cloud".
    What are my options?

    The "missing file" error happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
    Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
    If another application like Windows Media Player has moved/renamed the files then the chances are that subtle differences in naming strategies will make it hard to restore the media to the precise path that iTunes is expecting. In such cases, as long as the missing files can be found somewhere, you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes. See this post for an explanation of how it works.

  • Procedure for filing/updating TDS returns(certificates/challans)

    Hi All,
    As far as TDS configuration is concerned, I need the info on the process on how to file the TDS returns are concerned, updating the challans etc.
    The steps that I've configured are: withholding tax types, codes, rounding off etc all such steps which are enabling me to get the TDS deducted for each vendor in J1INMIS, however I'm encountering problems in certificate number ranges and I'm getting confused.
    Plz suggest in going about for being able to get the report  on total TDS deducted and updating the certificates

    The bold text is exactly, what I've copied from the system's error message and pasted it across here.
    No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria.

    Diagnosis
    The corresponding withholding tax line  &1& is not present in WITH_ITEM table.
    System Response
    For withholding tax recovered from the vendor, tax line is present in table BSIS, but the corresponding entry is missing in table WITH_ITEM , which is necessary for challan updation. Check the entries.
    Procedure
    check entries in table WITH_ITEM for the open tax items chosen for clearing.
    Now, I dont have a clue to go further from here. Plz suggest, if there's something else for me to go ahead with.
    I appreciate you for your answer coz that's taken me a step further is what I feel.

    Hi Manas,
    You can execute this multiple times.. a file is generated which can be uploaded directly for return submission online if the file is error free.
    The master table for TDS is "with_item", but there are many tables from which the data would be fetched.. it is a standard SAP report and it is not easy to say which all tables are sourced in internal SAP program.

  • TDS return is not being generated

    We are facing a probelm of TDS return process through J1INEFILE in Development server during testing in 2nd Quarter from 01.07.2009 to 30.09.2009. Our version is ECC 5 and patch level is 17. In ECC 6 tcode used as J1INQEFILE. We have checked the value in J1INMIS, completed Remittance Challan through J1INCHLN, completed bank updated through J1INBANK. Next step is TDS Return process through J1INEFILE/J1INQEFILE.  But it shows error message as "no date has been selected for the given selection criteria" inspite of selecting last tab (Output Processing options) informations are e-file generation and Presentation server's location for files download. It will be iplemented very soon.
    Kindly need your suggestion.

    Hi Anuj,
    In the main screen of J1INEFILE I am not giving input in field of TDS Section and Business Area under Withholding Tax(classic). Business Area not required in our business scenario and Withholding tax field is not mandatory. Rest of the parts I am giving input including all the fields of tabs including Statutory Signatory Details, Address Details and Output Processing options tab. I ticked e-file generation check box and mentioned the path where four files will be downloaded. Why files are not generated ?

    Problem:
    I upgraded Leopard to Snow Leopard. Everything worked fine for a month. To free up disk space I deleted some of the iPhoto flders (modfied and original images). Everything worked still fine. Shut down the computer. Next day it was incredibly slow. At the same time the indexing was running. I stopped indexing, but stll slow. Every operation took minutes. I tried all the tricks that I found in the internet (repaired file permissions, repaired disk, cleared PRAM , moved big filed from desktop, etc.). After 24 full hours of trying all this I decided to erase the hard drive and reinstall, directly from the Snow Leopard Install disk, but it fails after downloading the packages. Below is the part of the log. Then I tried to use the old Leopard install DVD to reinstall Leopard, it then sais estimated time 12 hours or so and eventually crashed, spitting out a lot of "reportcrash" in the log. What is going on? I'm running out of options. Any advice? Would zeroing the hard drive help? If nothing else I plan to buy a new hard drive, since the only explanation I have is that there is a problem with the hard driven although the disk utility says it is OK. I need a bigger one anyway. Any ideas? Thank you!

    It sounds to me like your Internal Hard Drive is failing.
    I recommend you buy a new one, that is a good candidate for replacing the old one, but install it in an External enclosure and Install a fresh Mac OS X on it from the DVD. You can boot your Mac from any attached drive.
    The new System can be used to get some work done, check your emails, and takes the pressure off resolving this immediately. You can also attempt to salvage files off the old drive if needed.
    Once things seem to be working, then move the new drive inside the computer. Failures at this point may be due to bad cable, which has been a problem in some of these MacBooks.
    Use security erase, write Zeroes, one pass, to re-write every block on the old drive. Any block discovered to be bad will be replaced with spares the drive holds in reserve for this purpose. If more than 10 blocks are pared on one pass, "Initialization Failed!" will be the result. Although you can try the erase again, there is some question whether you want to trust this drive with your precious data.

  • "Template import error: No VM configure file found" on brand new setup

    Previously, I posted Console does not launch OVM 3.1.1, Win7x32 Firefox15/IE8 - Empty .jnlp file which was about VM Console not launching. Since this is a new installation, and it seemed to be a unique problem, I scratched the whole installation and started again from scratch. Everything, including the NFS file server, was re-installed from scratch CD OS installation.
    The process is pretty straightforward once you're used to it, and in less than three hours I was ready again to import my first template (a template I had imported before). But now, I submit the the request, and almost immediately the process aborts. (You can see in the information below, that 1 second passes between the Import request (06:32:36) and the failure.)
    Thing is, it takes about three minutes, even locally on the web server, to get an index of that large file (tar tzf), and at completion, the vm config file is listed.
    Am I misreading the error? My web searches for enlightenment found only one good hit on this error, and in that case it appeared to be an "out of space" issue. In this case, though, I'm importing a 5GB tarfile into a 390GB, otherwise-empty file system, so I don't think that is the issue. The failure in ovs-agent.log is below. What other information may I provide to get to the bottom of this? (Thanks for any guidance/help, of course!)

    How did you get the template to where you staged it?
    I'd say the template is corrupt or you only have a partial template.
    I did notice the call to the template is based on the short name of the host. Can you confirm the VM manager can access the http path via short name?

  • Rapid install gettin error when create control file

    hai all ,
    i faced problem when im install fresh ebs R12
    my environment :
    sun sparc 64 bit
    solaris 11
    this occur when i try to install fresh R12
    using rapidwiz , the error say ORA-00821: Specified value of sga_target 1024M is too small, needs to be at least 2100M
    and when creating control file failed,
    is any clue with this problem ?

    Oracle VM Server for SPARC (previously known as LDoms or Logical Domains) :
    To set the number of VCPUs for a given Logical Domain (LDom), use the 'ldm(1M)' with the 'set-vcpu' option:
    # /opt/SUNWldm/bin/ldm set-vcpu <number> <logical_domain>
    For example to configure eight VCPUs for the Logical Domain named "ebs1":
    # /opt/SUNWldm/bin/ldm set-vcpu 8 ebs1
    Please review the Logical Domains Administration guide for detailed information.
    Users can then revert the number of VPUs to the original or desired values as a post EBS install step.

  • Help!! Unable to launch Outlook Express - Error says 'end of file reached'

    I double clicked on my icon to launch my email and got this message. I had Outlook Express 5.02 Tried rebooting twice. Backed up 5.02 on simple drive, then downloaded OE 5.06. Getting the same message... Unable to launch, end of file reached. anyone have any idea what is going on?? everything was fine yesterday!!! ps.. I am totally clueless with computers.. so need very specific (you are talking to a dummy) help here. PLEASE!!

    Welcome to Apple's Discussions.
    That error is often returned when one or more of OE's databases gets too full.
    Try compacting the databases in OE. This function is a built-in one, and can be done before the program actually loads. To do that, with OE not running hold down the Option key while opening OE.
    • If you're opening OE directly, hold Option down while double-clicking OE's icon.
    • If you're opening OE via the Mail icon in IE's toolbar, hold down Option while clicking that icon.
    You'll receive a splash message asking if you want to compact the databases - click OK. Once that is done, you can get rid of the old database files (they'll have been renamed to indicate that they are the old ones).
    OE keeps those files in its account (identity) folder(s). If you're not familiar with where those are -
    • Current versions of OE keep them here - (hard drive ) >> Documents >> Microsoft User Data >> Identities >> Main Identity.
    • Older versions of OE kept those in the Identities folder inside the program's folder.
    "Main Identity" is the original default account (identity = account); if you've created additional accounts, there will be a separate folder for each in the Identities folder.
    It would also be advisable to increase the Preferred memory allocation for OE. Adding 20 or 30 thousand to the original amount is not excessive - more is better.

    • Whenever you replace or update a program, you must redo any changes made to its memory allocation amounts - the changes are not carried over to a new or replacement version.
    Also, when you update OE or IE, particularly if you have both the old version and the new version on the drive at the same time, reset the default choices for those in the Internet control panel.

  • Time Machine will not complete a system backup and terminates with "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume.  This follows a problem when Time machne terminated when the volume was almost full.

    On 11/1/2011, Time Machine (TM) terminated with an error message I did not record.  I noted that the drive was full and decided to do a separate complete bootable  system backup using Carbon Copy Clone (CCC), before clearing the TM volume and trying to start it over clean.  Part way through the full system backup CCC put up a message that there was a Physical Problem  "Library/Application Support/Techtool Protection/McIntosh HD/Directory Backup 2011-11-01-16-28-16".  That was about the time that TM malfunctioned, so I assumed they were related.  After starting CCC over a couple of times, and getting the same error message, I let it go through to completion of the backup, which took three or four hours.  I then ran tests using Disk Utility and verified that there was nothing physically wrong with both the internal hard drive and the TM volume.  I also erased and reformatted the TM volume.  However, every time I started Time Machine, it would record a few GB and terminate with "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume".  I restarted the computer with no change in results.  Note that prior to starting the CCC backup, I "Repaired Permissions", "zapped the PRAM" and "re-set the SMC", hoping to have a clean bootable system on the backup.  I ran Techtool and no problems were found.
    I'm running this on an Intel iMac under 10.5.8 and recording to a 500GB My Passport drive.  My hard drive is only about half full at 246 GB.  My assessment is that something happened at 16-28-16 on 11/1/2001 to screwup the Backup Directory in the file at "Library/Application Support/Techtool Protection/McIntosh HD/Directory Backup 2011-11-01-16-28-16". My question is, how do I fix it?
    I had just completed writing everything above here, explaining the problems I had been encountering for the past 24 hours.  I had the Time Machine window standing open on the desktop where I could see it, having recentlycleared it after the last termination.  As I was proofing what I had written, I looked at the window and noted that the clock had started a new run for a full back up, since all prior efforts had failed and the TM volume was empty.  As I watched and waited for it to fail again, as it had been doing at about 13 GB, it kept going and going until it just finished a complete backup, about 4.5 hours later, with my having done nothing.  Now my question would have to be - what could possiibly have happened to make it perform this way?   It will be interesting to see if it continue to operate normally, or if the problem will return, in a later backup run.

    You should not keep those files for long, and probably shouldn't back them up (if you need them at all -- since you do regular backups, I'm doubtful just how worthwhile that feature is).
    "Unable to complete backup. An error occurred while copying files to the backup volume".
    One of Apple's maddeningly incomplete messages. Most likely, there's a problem with a file (quite possibly the one CCC didn't like).  See #C3 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting for details and instructions on finding and fixing it.
    If you continue running the Directory Protection app, be sure to exclude your Time Machine drive from it (as it will just take up lots of room, and won't help repair your backups if there's a problem);  and exclude the folders it creates from being backed-up by Time Machine (as they'll create large backups, and you probably can't use the backed-up folders anyway), per #10 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions.
