CLIENT_CREATE_FAILED error in the Call Adapter pipeline
Hi, all.
i think i've almost done the configuration of XI 3.0(CI + 2 DIs).
SXI_CACHE, SLDCHECK, import of IR, ID objects ...etc. are O.K.
But when i really run some scenarios of,
File Adapter --> XI --> ABAP Proxy or
ABAP Proxy --> XI --> Java Proxy, messages always got error in the "Call Adapter" pipeline of IS with the following message.

Error in the call of a DLL function
Hello,
I'm trying to control a Switch Matrix of Agilent (HP5250A) with LabView 6.1. The connections are realized with GPIB. In fact, I have some problems with the DLL called "hpe5250a_32.dll". If I try to start my VI, this error occurs:
"An exception occurred within the external code called by a Call Library Node. This may have corrupted LabVIEW's memory. You should save any work to a new location and restart LabVIEW. VI "hpe5250a Open List - modified.vi" was stopped at Call Library Function Node 0x844 of subVI "hpe5250a Open List - modified.vi" "
Must I install the DLL in a special location as C:\VXIpnp\WinNT\Bin? I have nothing about HP5250 instrument
here... and it is maybe the problem.
Thank you very much for your help.Le problème a été résolu par mail directement.
Il était dû au fait que l'utilisateur n'avait pas l'habitude des "instrument handle" dans labview et voulait utiliser certaines fonctions directement sans passer par les étapes de configurations.

10.2.1 OS error on photo contact and name of the caller
Hi,
I just instaled on my Z10 the new 10.2.1 OS update.
Till now I faced 3 errors:
1. the call register doesn't allways show me the name of the caller, just the number;
2. after syncronizing with facebook, contact photo imported from facebook dissapear after 1 day.
3. when I am in calls menu and I search for a person, I dont recive the search results (I write the name and nothing happens).
I hope you will take in consideration this remark for the next update of 10 OS.
Thanks!Yep, known issue (at least by some of us users) and I am not completely sure if BlackBerry knows.

CheckSum Error for the payment interface to Bank
Dear all,
Could you shed some lights as we have just complete the client migration and encountering the 'invalid checksum' after we have run the F110 and upload the file to Bank for GIRO payment. I have called the Bank Support, as their advice is to check our checksum generated by SAP.
As this is first time to generate payment posting file in the new client, and believe the checksum would be revised in the new client of SAP. Bank side is unable to reset the checksum.
Could you shed some lights on how to change the checksum and resolve the error?
Thank you so much in advance.Hi Aaron,
As mentioned by Mr. Dhar, I was able to complete the outbound Parmt. Now the error message I am getting is as given below (It is a copy paste of the SAP error message):-
IDoc type could not be determined for the IDoc
Message no. B1090
Diagnosis
The IDoc passed to the ALE layer could not be processed.
The specifications passed in the control record were not correct.
The basic IDoc type (field EDIDC-IDOCTP on the outbound side or
EDI_DC-IDOCTYP on the inbound side)has not been specified for this
IDoc.
The attempt to read the basic IDoc type from table EDIDO also failed.
No table entry was found for IDoc type from field DOCTYP.
Procedure
Possible error sources:
- The calling program did not provide values for the fields specified
above correctly. Make a note of the transaction in which this error
occurred and consult your ALE administrator.
- The IDoc type is not known in your system and must be
maintained. -
In the latest Gumbo release 5022, using TLF, I am getting the

When I look at the container, prior to the call, it has a
content length of 0, so maybe this is a proper error. Still, I am
switching over from the previous TLF format API
(Container/Paragraph/Character to TextLayoutFormat), and I get this
error where I never did previously.
From a code standpoint, I am essentially uising the
recomputeContainers function from the Pagination Example that has
been on your blog for a while, it loops to create 10 containers at
a time, then compose call is made, and this process happens until
the full content has been composed. This loop works a few times,
but then around the 4th time (I have 30 pages and 40 controllers),
I get the error on the call to compose.
My migration was not very creative, I simply found everywhere
that I was using the previous format APIs and changed them to the
TextLayoutFormat. Additionally, I am doing a significant
TextFilter.import call from markup of which I did not make any
changes to for the migration (do i need to?) at all.
Is there something in the migration step that I am missing,
or is there a specific reason why Compose generates this exception
now versus previous releases of Vellum/
Thanks for you attention to this,
TimI have some markup that causes the error in the Pagination
example when used as the import text instead of the Alice in
Wonderland text.
The behaviour is bizarre, because if you use the content
markup (the div with id='D20070324' and its children) once or
twice, it usually composes, however, if you put the content in the
markup 3 or 4 times(as in the example below), it fails.
The behavior seems related to the ending Div that is empty.
If I change it to:
<div
id='commentsdiv8944'><p><span></span></p></div>
Then everything renders.
Is having some content in a Div a new requirement or is this
a bug?
Thanks,
Tim -

modelerHi,
You need to have oracle.toplink.jar in classpath.
Please find the sample Java code to call stord procedure
package project1;
import java.util.Vector;
import oracle.toplink.queryframework.ReadObjectQuery;
import oracle.toplink.queryframework.StoredFunctionCall;
public class Class1 {
public Class1() {
super();
public static void main(String args[]) {
StoredFunctionCall functionCall = new StoredFunctionCall();
functionCall.setProcedureName("EMP_PROC_NAME");
functionCall.addNamedArgument("ARG1");
functionCall.setResult("FUNCTION_RESULT", String.class);
ReadObjectQuery query = new ReadObjectQuery();
query.setCall(functionCall);
query.addArgument("EMP_ID");
Vector arg = new Vector();
arg.addElement(new Integer(44));
// Employee employee = (Employee) session.executeQuery(query, args);
Hope this helps.

Hi everybody,
I've got an application that logs data to an Excel spreadsheet using the Report Generation Toolkit. My VI's have worked fine in the past using Excel XP, but since I've upgraded to Excel 2007, I am getting COM errors like this one:
"Error -2147417842 occurred at The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread. in Excel_Insert_Text.vi" That is the exact wording, even with the weird punctuation and capitalization.
The first occurrence of the error is not determinate. Sometimes, up to 10 logging sessions, involving a new .xls file, can occur before this error pops up. Once this error occurs, I must quit LabVIEW to resolve it. If I try to do anything with Excel, I always get this error, although sometimes it comes out of different source VIs. Excel_Open.vi is another.
These logging VIs have worked just fine until upgrading to Excel 2007. I checked, and I was using a really old version of the Report Generation Toolkit, v1.0.1. I read the documentation and had a big sigh of relief when I realized I needed to upgraded to v1.1.2 to get Excel 2007 support. However, even after upgrading, I'm still getting the same errors. I'm using LabVIEW 8.0.1, and I'm also building these VIs into an application. The error occurs both in the LabVIEW IDE and in the built application. Does anybody out there have any idea what I can do to fix this? I googled a little, and discovered this is a COM error, but I can't find any references to the Report Generation Toolkit specifically.
Thanks,
Phil
Solved!
Go to Solution.Hi Christian,
I do not see that exact option listed, do you mean "user interface"? I recognize the "Run in UI Thread" option, it's on the Call Library Function Node.
I checked, and my top-level VI has "same as caller" set, and I believe all my VIs are set to "same as caller". Are you suggesting I change my top-level VI preferred execution environment to "user interface", or just the logging sub-VIs that use the Report Generation Toolkit?
Thanks,
Phil

Error in while calling a Soap Adapter using the UDF
hi,
i am trying to make a call to Soap Adapter using a UDF.
The code of the UDF is as follows :
InputStream isPayloadStream = null;
AbstractTrace trace= container.getTrace();
String sService="Business Component";
String sChannelName="Soap Channel(Sender)";
SystemAccessor accessor=null;
trace.addInfo("entered UDF");
StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer(" ");
trace.addInfo("creating the reference file");
sb.append("<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>\n");
sb.append("<ns0:MT_123082_UDF xmlns:ns0=\"http//infosys.com/pi/projects/png/n1\">\n");
sb.append("<INTERCHANGECONTRLNOS>" + var1 + "</INTERCHANGECONTRLNOS>");
sb.append("<PGPARTNERID>"var2"</PGPARTNERID>""\n""</ns0:MT_123082_UDF>");
trace.addInfo("trigerring the SOAP channel ");
try{
Channel channel = LookupService.getChannel(sService,sChannelName);
accessor = LookupService.getSystemAccessor(channel);
isPayloadStream = new ByteArrayInputStream((sb.toString()).getBytes());
trace.addInfo("creating the xml payload ");
XmlPayload payload = LookupService.getXmlPayload(isPayloadStream);
Payload result=accessor.call(payload);
catch (Exception e){
trace.addInfo(e.getMessage());
finally{
if ( accessor !=null) {
accessor.close();
return " ";
The above code is throwing an error while end to end testing.
the scenario is such,while graphical mapping a UDF will be used, which will create an Xml payload, and send this payload to another SOAP to file scenario.
The error in the sxmb_moni is: "Error when calling an adapter by using the communication channel CC_123085_UDF_SOAP_OUT (Party: , Service: BC_123082_REMADV_D96A, Object ID: fa9c6ee15efc30c68ec34b08034d87d1) XI AF API call failed. regards,

Evenin' all.
I'm creating a Flash application split up into scenes. One of the scenes is divided into sections of ten frames with keyframes at 1 (home, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90. Frame #1 is the menu and contains the buttons to skip to each section using the gotoAndStop(); command.
However, I want to be able to skip to #1 from any point using Next/Previous buttons. I have declared the buttons in frame 1 of scene 1 as follows:
I have declared the buttons in frame 1 of scene 1 as follows:
Code:
var nextButton:Button = new Button();
var prevButton:Button = new Button();
var homeButton:Button = new Button();
At each point, I use addChild(nextButton) to add the buttons to the stage, and when the buttons are clicked it removes them as follows:
Code:
nextButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goNext);
function goNext(e:Event):void
removeChild(videoPlayer);
removeChild(prevButton);
removeChild(nextButton);
removeChild(homeButton);
gotoAndStop(20);
Now, all the 'Next' buttons work but none of the 'Previous' buttons work, when all they do is gotoAndStop() ten frames backwards rather than ten frames forwards, I keep getting this error message:
Code:
ArgumentError: Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.
at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer/removeChild()
at Prototype_fla::MainTimeline/goBack()
The same is happening with the Home buttons, which skip from whichever frame the user is on to the menu. The Next buttons are the only ones working consistently.
Please help, this is really stressing me out, I'm on Flash CS4.
CheersYou can`t remove the target of your event while it is "active"
you wrote....
nextButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goNext);
function goNext(e:Event):void
removeChild(videoPlayer);
removeChild(prevButton);
removeChild(nextButton);
removeChild(homeButton);
gotoAndStop(20);
instead you should write sth. like:
nextButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goNext);
function goNext(e:Event):void
// to be sure that there`s actualloy sth. to remove
if(videoPlayer!=null){
removeChild(videoPlayer);
//similar
removeChild(prevButton);
removeChild(homeButton);
e.currentTarget.removeEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goNext)
removeChild(e.currentTarget);
gotoAndStop(20);
this is probably similar in your other function, too -
Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.
Hi All,
I would very much appreciate any help with this.
I am working on a flash piece that will play 4 videos, depending on the button pressed. First button will launch first video, 2nd - 2nd video and so on. Once the Video is done playing, close_btn, learn_more_btn and replay_btn appear, in addition to an ending image that is different for each of the videos( BoxLivePic, BoxSleepPic and BoxFeelPic). So - actually 4 things appear once the movie stops playing and the last image depends on which buttons was clicked...
My issue is, when I click the close button( andI'm sure same will apply for the other 2 buttons), I get the error below:
ArgumentError: Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.
at flash.display::DisplayObjectContainer/removeChild()
at AER1_r5_fla::MainTimeline/closeVideo()
I understand is that it's because each Picture is not actually added to the display list, unless the proper button was clicked.. however, I don't know how to fix that! I hope this makes some sence - Below is all of my Code... Thanks a bunch in advance:

I'm replicating between two servers in two sites (Server A - Server 2012 R2 STD, Server B - Server 2008 R2) over a VPN (Sonicwall Firewall). Though the initial replication seems to be
happening it is very slow (the folder in question is less than 3GB). I'm seeing these in the event viewer every few minutes:
The DFS Replication service is stopping communication with partner PPIFTC for replication group FTC due to an error. The service will retry the connection periodically.
Additional Information:
Error: 1726 (The remote procedure call failed.)
and then....
The DFS Replication service successfully established an inbound connection with partner PPIFTC for replication group FTC.
Here are all my troubleshooting steps (keep in mind that our VPN is going through a SonicWall <--I increased the TCP timeout to 24 hours):

I've done a lot of research on the Internet and most of it is pointing to the same stuff I've tried. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Maybe I need to look somewhere
else on the server side or firewall side?
I tried replicating from a 2012 R2 server to another 2012 server and am getting the same events in the event log so maybe it's not a server issue.
Some other things I'm wondering:
-Could it be the speed of the NICs? Server A is a 2012 Server that has Hyper-V installed. NIC teaming was initially setup and since Hyper-V is installed the NIC is a "vEthernet
(Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Driver Virtual Switch) running at a speed of 10.0Gbps whereas Server B is running a single NIC at 1.0Gbps
-Could occasional ping timeout's cause the issue? From time to time I get a timeout but it's not as often as the events I'm seeing. I'm getting 53ms pings. The folder
is only 3 GB so it shouldn't take that long to replicate but it's been days. The schedule I have set for replication is mostly all day except for our backup times which start at 11pm-5am. Throughout the rest of the time I have it set anywhere from
4Mbps to 64 Kbps. Server A is on a 5mb circuit and Server B is on a 10mb circuit.I'm seeing the same errors, all servers are running 2008 R2 x64. Across multiple sites, VPN is steady and reliably.
185 events from 12:28:21 to 12:49:25
Events are for all five servers (one per office, five total offices, no two in the same city, across three states).
Events are not limited to one replication group. I have quite a few replication groups, so I don't know for sure but I'm running under the reasonable assumption that none are spared.
Reminder from original post (and also, yes, same for me), the error is: Error: 1726 (The remote procedure call failed.)
Some way to figure out what code triggers an Event ID 5014, and what code therein specifies an Error 1726, would extremely helpful. Trying random command line/registry changes on live servers is exceptionally unappealing.
Side note, 1726 is referenced here:
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/976442?wa=wsignin1.0
But it says, "This RPC connection problem may be caused by an unstable WAN connection." I don't believe this is the case for my system.
It also says...
For most RPC connection problems, the DFS Replication service will try to obtain the files again without logging a warning or an error in the DFS Replication log. You can capture the network trace to determine whether the cause of the problem is at the network
layer. To examine the TCP ports that the DFS Replication service is using on replication partners, run the following command in a
Command Prompt window:
NETSTAT –ANOBP TCP
This returns all open TCP connections. The connections in question are "DFSRs.exe", which the command won't let you filter for.
Instead, I used the NETSTAT command as advertised, dumping output to info.txt:
NETSTAT -ANOBP TCP >> X:\info.txt
Then I opened Excel and manually opened the .TXT for the open wizard. I chose fixed-width fields based on the first row for each result, and then added a column:
=IF(A3="Can not", "Can not obtain ownership information", IF(LEFT(A3,1) = "[", A3&B3&C3, ""))
Dragging this down through the entire file let me see that row (Row F) as the file name. Some anomalies were present but none impacted DFSrs.exe results.
Finally, you can sort/filter (I sorted because I like being able to see everything, should I choose to) to get just the results you need, with the partial rows removed from the result set, or bumped to the end.
My server had 125 connections open.
That is a staggering number of connections to review, and I feel like I'm looking for a needle in a haystack.
I'll see if I can find anything useful out, but a better solution would be most wonderful. -
How do I handle errors from a call to an http handler routine on the server?
I have written an http handler for the server. It is used for file uploads. It works fine.
However, if the server gets any kind of exception, I don't seem to get anything back in the Silverlight httpWebRequest. It seems like something in the communications sees the exception as a "server not found" type error. And a
Dialog pops up that appears to NOT be my code that says the message.
For my WCF calls, I implemented a SilverlightFaultBehavior that switched the status code to OK and I was able to get the server exceptions from my WCF calls into my Silverlight app.
But how do I do that for an http handler? What do I have to add, if anything to the server side and what do I need to do on the Silverlight client side?How are you calling your service?
You should be doing asynchronous calls and supplying a callback with silverlight.
Check for errors in the callback.
FileListServiceReference.FileListServiceClient proxy = new ITSupport.FileListServiceReference.FileListServiceClient();
proxy.GetFileListCompleted += new EventHandler<ITSupport.FileListServiceReference.GetFileListCompletedEventArgs>(proxy_FileListCompleted);
proxy.GetFileListAsync(fileList);
void proxy_FileListCompleted(object sender, ITSupport.FileListServiceReference.GetFileListCompletedEventArgs e)
ObservableCollection<ImageVM> ims = new ObservableCollection<ImageVM>();
if (e.Error == null)
That does stuff if there's no errors and returns nothing if there are but you might want more sophisticated handling.
Hope that helps.

Reporting errors or exceptions back to the caller
I'm u sing OracleAS 10.1.3 and I'm exposing some of my PL/SQL procedures as web services. I was wondering what the convention is for reporting errors back to the caller. I read a little bit about Soap faults and some lack of support in the current JDev release.
Are soap faults the standard way of reporting handled exceptions? What about returning a record like:
type r_ws_response_string is record (
result varchar2 (4000),
return_code number,
error_message varchar2 (4000)
);... and having the caller check the return_code. Bad idea?
Any resources you can point is is appreciated (books/sites).
-Vahid PazirandehHi Toby,
Yes, I've come up with a working solution.
Essentially, I've made use of PL/SQL's OUT parameters and always reporting a status to the caller. At minimum, any procedure or function that I expose as a web service will have two out parameters: status, error_msg. The benefit of having a status being returned is that the caller can build logic based on different problems encountered, rather than just saying "an error occured". The error strings that you define are textual error codes, so they shouldn't change once you decide on an API.
The caller will always check for the value of status, if it is not 'SUCCESSFUL', then something is wrong. They can then log the value of error_msg so that their developers can figure out what went wrong later.
What's also nice is that the XML that's generated by JDeveloper looks clean when we're using one or more OUT params.
I don't know what the best way is to deal with this problem, but this works for me. :) Here's an example:
g_status_success := 'SUCCESSFUL';
g_status_bad_password := 'ERROR_INVALID_PASSWORD';
g_status_file_not_found := 'ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND';
g_status_unknown_error := 'ERROR_UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION';
procedure give_me_file(password varchar2,
status out varchar2,
error_msg out varchar2,
file out blob)
is
begin
if bad_password(password) then
status := g_status_bad_password;
error_msg := 'You entered the wrong password friend!';
return;
end if;
file := get_top_secret();
if file is null then
status := g_file_not_found;
error_msg := 'Your file could not be found';
return;
end if;
status := g_status_success;
exception
when others then
status := g_status_unknown_error;
error_msg := 'An unknown error occured. Please file a ticket.';
end;Regards,
Vahid Pazirandeh
