Error in the display of values

Hi friends,
I have a problem in the display of values in my report, It displays ### in some columns. But my table has numerical values in it. But it doesn't display it. Why is it so?
Help me out.

We just upgraded to the DASYlab 11 pro, we were using DASYlab 10 basic, but are still getting the same issues.
Our NI-DAQ is the PCI-6251
We are using Windows XP

hi friends,
in the reprot program when f8 is clicked,an excel sheet is to be dispalyed.instead of that an message saying "this workbook contains userform or class module.to disable potentially unsafe macros,the VBA project must be removed from this workbook" is diplayed.After clicking 'ok' then another message saying "this workbook has lost its VBA project,active x controls and any other programmbility related features".After clicking 'ok' again another message saying "error occured while setting object property".By clicking 'exit' on that message its coming out of the program and excel is not displaying.

Diagnosis
An error occurred when the system tried to process the commands
         from the Automation Queue on the presentation server.
There are several possible reasons for this:
        - The installation of the SAP GUI on the presentation server
|         faulty or obsolete.
- There is an error in the application program
|         - There is an error in the SAPGUI or an integrated control
     Procedure
1. Make sure that you have imported the appropriate Support
         Package, the current kernel, and GUI patch for the release of your
         system
2. Check whether the error occurs locally on one or a few PCs, or
         generally on all PCs. Note whether the error only occurs for some
        users, for example because of a specific Customizing setting.
        If it only occurs locally, this suggests an installation problem
         with the PC. Check the installation; if necessary, reinstall the
         software. In the dump, search for the SY-MSGLI field, since it may
       point to the cause of the error.
         3. Activate the Automation Trace (in accordance with SAP Note                              158985).
4.Start the transaction and continue until the screen immediately
before the dump.
5. From the System -> Utilities menu, choose Autom. Queue,
Synchronous Processing.
The status bar of the GUI displays the text:
"Automation synchron flush mode on"
6. If you now proceed with the application, the short dump will
display the ABAP call that caused the error; the Automation Trace
will contain the error on the presentation server.
7. If necessary, load the short dump and trace files on to
sapservX, so that SAP can analyze them.

Excel 2007 accessing PivotItem.Visible gives error if the field item value is a DATE

I have VBA code to manipulate the content of a pivot table - essentially it hides all but the first N items in a pivotfield. Under Excel 2003 the code works fine, as expected irrespective of the data content of the pivot field item. Under Excel
2007, if the data content is a date, the VBA code generates one of several error conditions.
pivotItems(i).Visible = True
Generates error 1004 - Unable to set the visible property of the pivot class
If pivotItems(i).Visible = True then...
Trying to test the visibility generates error 13 - type mismatch

Trying to determine the visibility of the pivot item in the VBA immediate window, this generates error 2042
I have an illustrative spreadsheet which permits the code to process two different pivot tables, one using a field containg dates; the other a field containing text. Under Excel 2003, the code works on both pivot tables. Under Excel 2007 it works
on the text field table, but fails on the date field table.
I have looked for answers on numerous support forums including answers.microsoft but found not found any answers... only the same or similar unanswered question.

I have made the following changes / additions to the problem illustrator:-
Adopted the use of lists for the data source of the pivot table
Removed reference to '(blank)' as a reserved item not hidden by the VBA code to avoid the possibility of hiding all items
In respect of my original code (MK1), utilised a 'real' item name to be the
reserved item
Added a new (MK2) macro to alter the number of visible items which
hides all but one of the VisibleItems collection
makes the first N items in the collection visible
checks that there are only N items visible (the position of the reserved item
might be greater than N)
The code still executes as expected under 2003, but fails (the same as before) under 2007 when the data type of the PivotItem is date.
The MK1 code fails when testing the current visibility of the Item before trying to set the visibility with:- RTE 1004 Unable to
get the PivotItems property of the PivotField Class
The MK2 code fails when trying to set the visibility with:- RTE 1004 Unable to
set the Visible property of the PivotItem Class as reported above. Note - given that MK2 avoids trying hide invisible items or unhide visible items, I no longer believe that this error is due to the attempt
to set visibility to current state as seen under Excel 2003. I am deeply confused by this now!
I observe with care the different CLASSES on which these failures are reported even though in each case the operations are on the PivotItem.Visible property - MK1 queries it / MK2 attempts to alter it.
Just in case you have been wondering where this is going, this spreadsheet has no prupose beyond illustrating the Excel 2003 / 2007 problem being encountered elsewhere when manipulating pivot table items whose value are dates. The requirement
is to provide a simple user interface to a complex managing reporting spreadsheet consisting of a significant number of pivot tables and charts - altering one cell causes the VBA code to modify the collection of pivot tables to deliver a revised view of the
data. All works fine for 2003 users of the model, but not 2007 users. I need one spreadsheet which will work correctly on both 2003 & 2007.

Error :Number of conflicts while synchronizing: 1 SyncResolver.UPDATE_ROW_CONFLICT row 0 attempt to update a row that has been updated or deleted by another user
has anybody an idea how to get more information about the conflic?
In what column is the conflic ? The values ?

In MEK3 Transaction How to Download the Display Customs % Values

Hi Friends, Please Guide me on this Issue
Once User enters MEK3 Transaction and he follows below Steps
Enters the Condition Type
Clicks on -> Key Combination Button
Checks the Radio Button -> Purch Org / Plant/ Vendor and Continue
After Providing Inputs for
Purch. Organization, Plant, Valid on Date User executes the report
Then the data is displayed in Table Control
Here the User needs to download the data which is displayed in the Table Control
By Navigating through SYSTEM -> LIST -> SAVE -> LOCAL FILE
Here LOCAL FILE is not in enable mode
So how can we make that LOCAL FILE to enable mode and achieve the Download functionality

whenever you click on Excel download option select spreadsheet instead of unconverted
There is a possibility of download the spool file as txt-file. .
Use Tranx SP01 - select the spool entry -->"spool request --> forward as text . You will find the file in your SAP work directory as <sid><spool#>.
or use fm RSPO_DOWNLOAD_SPOOLJOB.
Download in Background in Excel Format
How to download the data in excel format directly while executing in background mode?
If you will execute it in bacground with ws_download or download, it will be aoutomatically cancel. so what is the procedure to do this. How is can directly read the spool from program?
Download from background is possible, if you could setup the environment
1. create a custom table first
    Table : Y001
    Displayed fields:   4 of   4 Fixed columns:
       MANDT BNAME       Y_SITE    Y_PATH
       010      <userid>     <site>      cd <novell_path>
2. rewrite ws_download to z_download (light modification required, see attachment)
3. ask your basis team to make a copy of command FTP and CHMOD to ZFTP and ZCHMOD resp., make the setting according to your environment.

Sort by the internal, not the displayed value?

Am I being dense here?
Imagine a report that includes a couple of columns, N and C, where C is the displayed character value corresponding to the non-displayed numeric N, as in:
N C
1 High
2 Medium
3 Low
Clicking the column header for C gives High|Low|Medium, whereas we clearly want High|Medium|Low.
How can we sort by N when clicking the column header for C?

MEREP_MON log error question on SYNCBO default values

Hello All,
I am getting some errors when I sync the MI Client on the Mobile DSD execution.
Error says the following :
"Default value missing: Value ID=MBLID, depends on=1, exclusive="
Default value missing: Value ID=USER, depends on=1, exclusive=
Looks like we need to give some default values for the DSD* and SPE* SYNCBO's What values we need to give over there. I think we cann't hardcode our Mobile device id and Mobile user id over there.

Hi Greetson,
You are right when you say that you can't just go and manually add those values. They are setup when SyncBo is created, for userID, for example, it will be something like ME-SYNC_USER.
If you uploaded DSD SyncBos properly thse values should have been imported as well.
Try to upload SAP delivered set of SyncBos again (normally, there should be a SyncBo definition file in your application package).
If you have exported a SyncBo definition file yourself and then used this file to upload SyncBos in the other system - you didn't export "default values". There is a button "advanced" that has to be clicked on and then all checkboxes checked to get a complete SyncBo definition exported in a file.

Error while changing the PO BOX value for a Business partner

Hi Friends,
We are getting an error when we try to change the PO Box value for a Business Partner.
We have the dependency like when we give the value for the PO Box we also need to give the postal code value. And also we have a specific format for the Postal code. We gave both the values (a valid postal code) and try to save the details, then error message "The attribute GUID of Organization (a Contact Person is assigned to) of the Business Object contact person is not valid" is displayed. We have no clue why there is a conflict for the contact person details.
Can any one suggest the reason for this?

Hi Swarna,
You are getting this message not because you have entered wrong Post code .It will come even if you try to change some other field and save it. This is because on saving a business object, the framework tries to validate all the associated objects depending on the relation.In this case the data in the mobile client is either not present or is no longer valid.
Check if the field of the Business object which is being shown as invalid, has some data in the table. Check the combo associated to it and from where the combo is doing the validation. The table from where the combo is doing the validation does not have that data and so the value is invalid.
Also compare the number of entries in smokna1sht table in ides and in CDB.

I created a site column at the root of my site and I have publishing turned on. I selected the Hyperlink with formatting and constraints for publishing.
I went to my subsite and added the column. The request was to have "Open in new tab" for their hyperlinks. I was able to get the column to be added and yesterday we added items without a problem.
The problem arose when, today, a user told me that he could not edit the hyperlink. He has modify / delete permissions on this list.
He would edit the item, in a custom list, and click on the address "click to add a new hyperlink" and then he would get the error below after succesfully putting in the Selected URL (http://www.xxxxxx.com), Open
Link in New Window checkbox, the Display Text, and Tooltip:

We are on IE 9.0.8.1112 x86, Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise Edition x64
The farm is running SharePoint 2010 SP2 Enterprise Edition August 2013 CU Mark 2, 14.0.7106.5002
and I saw in another post, below with someone who had a similar problem and the IISreset fixed it, as did this problem. I wonder if this is resolved in the latest updated CU of SharePoint, the April 2014 CU?

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

CG02 Report from Template error when starting the display application

System info: SAP GUI 720 (patch 10007878), ECC 6.0, SAP_APPL/EA-APPL 605, WWI 2.7 (patch 20000084)
Hi, folks.
I was able to execute CG02 'Report from Template' function. My local MS Word 2003 would open successfully to display the report as expected. Suddenly, I couldn't do that anymore. I'm now getting msg "An error occurred when starting the display application" (C$772). And I didn't change anything.
Any clue to what has happened or why it is happening? In my Word, I have 'C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\wwi' set as the file location for User templates. What else should I check?

Thanks for pointing me (back) to it! (I've encountered a similar issue with the same param back in 2010...)
I'm positive that the problem started after I tried to run the transaction code (of my custom report program that does the CG02 'Report from Template' function) from the web gui ('You Can Also' menu function). Somehow, the standard SAP fms within It changed the param ESWWI_INST value from 'EXISTFRONT' to 'WWISERVER'. So when I ran CG02 and the WWI server is not available yet, I received the error msg.

Hi Rosemarie,
WEBI aggregates only duplicate rows and when we try to aggregate non duplicate rows it throws #Multivalue error.
The #Multivalue error comes for different reasons:
1) If you are displaying output of formula in single cell then you will get #Multivalue error when formula returns multiple values.
2) If your data contain non duplicate values and you are trying to aggregate the data using sum, count and removing the column that contain distinct value.
I checked this with Island and resort marketing Demo universe.
I Took country and Future Guests and applied formula similar to yours:
=If(Count([Futureguests])<=5;"Subclass "[Futureguests];"No of subclass"Count([Futureguests]))
When I removed the column Future Guests from the report I got #Multivalue error because this is the column that distinguishes the records.
It you want to avoid this,
      1) Check the option u201Cavoid Duplicate row aggregationu201D by selecting Block-> properties-> Display
                                   OR
      2) Add the column Subclass ID in the report
                                  OR
      3) Use Count(Subclass ID) like this.
=If (Count([Subclass ID]) <=5;"Subclass: " + count([Subclass ID]); " No of Subclass Selected: " + Count(Subclass ID))

Get the display values of a multi selection listbox

Hello, I am creating a visual jsf project and I have a multi selection listbox component. I have bound this component with a table of my database. For the value of the listbox's items I use the "id" field of the table, and for the display value I use the "name" field. I know that with the method getSelectedValues() I get the values "id" of the listbox, but what I want is to get the display values of the selected items of the list box. How do I do that?I have tried this code:

The way I get it in my <f:selectItems> is by binding my multi select listbox, with my database. So what the code is on my jsp page is:
