Error in the Hierarchy structure

Hi All,
We faced error an hierarchy load. Error records written to application log.The level of the node ID 000284 does not suit the lev. of the higher lev. node.
Help to solve this error.

In some cases, it is not possible to display the attribute hierarchy without having to correct the errors first.
Procedure
It is recommended that you run the FIPR_CLEAN_ATTRIBUTES (by using transaction SE38). This report can recognize errors, and it attempts to correct them automatically.
Caution: This report can change your table entries permanently.
Once this report has run, you need to check the hierarchy structure, and make any necessary changes.

Hi,
the realignment (KEND) does not change the line item tables (CE1***, CE2***), thats why they remain unchanged.
The line items in CE1**** can not be changed. If you really want to have new line items (with the new prod. hierarchy) try in test-client if the use of report RKECADL1 and the new transfer to CO-PA for the deleted line items (KE4S, KE4SFI,...) can help you (SAPNET-note 69370 for details).
CE2**** + SQL-error: As per now, I don't have an idea how to deal with that cases.

How to create the Hierarchy Structure in BeX

Hi,
We have a cost center IOBJ MD, and our source system does not have the feasibility to create hierarchy to load it. But the business gave a hiearchy structure in flat file, and want to get the cost center hierarchy in bex.
How do we do that ? Please suggest.

Hi,
A hierarchy can be created in the system by two ways:
By hand:
     I would recomend to create by hand if the hierarchy has a few nodes or if the hierarchy will stay without changes for long.
     RSA1 --> Look for your infoobject and "create hierarchy". Then, you can create the folders and nodes that you need and dont forget activate it
This option is the quickest and easier, if you could go for it.
Loaded by flat file.
     If the hierarchy has many many nodes or if it will change its values quite often, it will be a good idea to develop stractors, infopackage and so on for loading the information from file file.
There are plenty of information of the Internet about how to do it.
From my own experience, it would be easier to build the extractor in the old version (rsa1old).

I have a transaction - VKOA. I get the following error on executing this t-code. The program used by this t code is SAPL089C.
The error is
Runtime errors         SYNTAX_ERROR
Occurred on     11/23/2009 at   05:12:58
Syntax error in program "SAPL089C ".
What happened?
The following syntax error occurred in the program SAPL089C :
"The Dictionary structure or table "*C865" is either not active or does not exist."
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSVIM" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
Error analysis
The following syntax error was found in the program SAPL089C :
The Dictionary structure or table *C865 is either not active or does not exist.
Please suggest a suitable solution to this problem...

I will try the solution propesed by Max.
In the meantime, I would like to confirm if there is something related to SAP Note # SAP Note 72121. Refer the following details from the note.
Symptom
When you maintain account determination (FI or SD), you get the error
message:
The DDIC structure or table "*C400" is not active or does not exist.
OR
The system writes a dump with DBIF_NTAB_TABLE_NOT_FOUND, C400 was not
found.
C401 can also appear instead of C400.
Additional key words
Tables C400, C401.
Program: SAPL089C, L089CT00
Transaction: VKOA
Solution as per the note
1. Execute the program RV12A002. On the selection screen, enter Usage C,
Tables 400 to 401.
WARNING: Make sure that you only delete C400 and C401!
Execute the program.
2. Execute program RV12A001. On the selection screen, enter Usage C and
mark 'Reports & Screens'.
Can there be sometihing similar to this for C865 table as well. Just a thought.

Creation of hierarchy structure

Hi all,
I need help bulding a hierarchy structure which is time dependent (hierarchy structure time dependent). I want to know if the hierarchy structure only depends on the NodeID and ParentID or if the time information is (date from and date to) is also taken in concern?
I made a test and it seems that the hierarchy structure only depends on the node id and the parent id information.
Please confirm.

Initialize Orgchart with expanded right leaf of the Hierarchy Tree

Hello dear all,
our client has set a requirement, that I will try to describe and ask for your help . Before that, I would like to mention two things .
First, we are using Nakisa Live 2.0 and we cannot change it .
Second, the client considers this feature as an absolute requirement for the project to go live, so we have to come up with a solution .
No, the problem .
When the OrgChart is loaded, by default it shows the first two levels of the Hierarchy structure .
What the client needs, is that we have on side of the tree expanded in four levels, and the other side, expanded in two .
So this is the Default .

What we have managed to come up is the following .
First, we set up AppResources, to expand the tree up to the fourth level, for all the branches .
Then we have enhanced the abap function HCM_GET_ORGSTRUCTURE_AS_XML_IN that returns the xml tree structure, removing all the leaves of the left branch ( which in our example is everything that is under 80000002 ) .
The idea is, that when the OrgChart Initializes, the function is called with OBJID = 80000001 (the root) while each time we click on the expand button of a subsequent orgunit, it is called using this units value, eg 80000003 . At that point, our enhancement allows the function to retrieve all the necessary data .
When we first tried this solution, we noticed that the orgunit 80000002 comes without expand buttons, but we managed to overcome this by editing some XML files (OrgChartBoxControlsXSL.xsl, OrgChartBoxPresentationXSL.xsl, NodeDetailXSL.xsl)
But, the problem is that when we click on 80000002, the function is still not called so no data is fetched .
We did check the html code produced and it seems ok (the expand button has the following onclick attribute : Javascript:TriggerEvent('expandNode', this, '50019824', 'de93808cb2074b7eb435cc95c2e954c0'); )
So what we need is either an answer on why the function is not called, or a totally new way to implement this feature .

In the function module, what i did is the following. The FM HCM_GET_ORGSTRUCTURE_AS_XML calls the FM ZCM_GET_ORGSTRUCTURE_AS_XML_IN. There we call HRWPC_RFC_GET_COL_CONTENT, which returns two structures
tempobjecttable   and structuretable .
What we do there is this .
If objid = 80000001,
      if znakisalog-active = 'Y' .
        loop at structuretable where seqnr eq 4 .
          clear structuretable-pdown .
          modify structuretable .
        endloop .
      endif .
endif
where the line with seqnr = 4 is the objid 80000002 . By clearing the field pdown, we remove any reference to subsequent orgunits .
Now it is supposed that when we click on Orgchart box for 8000002 the above function will be called again, but the above code will not run and we should get the data we need .
As for the XML files, i commented out some code like that :

in order to make the expand buttons show in every case .

Service hierarchy structure

Hi all,
We are upgrading from SRM 5 to SRM 7.0 EHP1 with ECS.
When a service shopping cart is created in SRM 5,a hiererachy structure is created for each item i.e. PARENT and then ITEM .
We want to create service carts and PO's w/o the hierarchy structure.Is that possible in SRM 7?

I'm talking about service PO's which are created using the link "ORDER" in SHOP ONE screen.
WHen service PO's are created using this link,each service item has 2 nodes:
1 parent and other with the actiual item details.
E.g. SC with 2 items in SRM will actually have 4 line item structure. will also have the same structure.when the PO for this cart replicates to ECC,in ECC thre will be only 2 item structure.
Is there a way to create service PO's in SRM 5 and SRM 7 w/o the hierarchy structure?

Error while loading the Hierarchy to 0GLACCEXT

I am trying to load a hierarchy ZEM 1 that is manually created in R/3. when I am executing the Infopackage its showing an Error that
1.Record 8 :Node characteristic 0GL_ACCOUNT is not entered as hierarchy characteristic for 0GLACCEXT
2.Too many error records - update terminated

Diagnosis
    The nodes NODEID = [00000194, 00001627 ] have the same node names
    NODENAME = '10000000950090 '. This is not allowed because neither node
    is a leaf and both nodes are assigned to the same characteristic
    0GL_ACCOUNT .
    Note that a maximum of 50 characters is available for message variables.
    The node name NODENAME = '10000000950090 ' might not be displayed in its
    full length.
System Response
Procedure
    Try to localize the problem. If the hierarchy is loaded from an SAP
    source system, you can check whether the extracted data is correct by
executing transaction RSA3 in the source system. If necessary, check if
the data is modified with a user exit. If the hierarchy is loaded from a
file, check the contents of this file. The problem might also be due to
an error in the transfer rules or in the transformation.
You can identify the two duplicate nodes from the values for the node ID
NODEID = [00000194, 00001627 ].
The problem can be caused by identical nodes delivered more than once
from the source. It is also possible that incorrect values for
parameters such as the node name NODENAME or validity period [DATEFROM,
DATETO] are the cause of the problem.
First check if the value for node name NODENAME = '10000000950090 ' is
correct. The node name consists of the characteristic value for the
hierarchy basic characteristic and the characteristic values of all the
characteristics compounded to this characteristic. Errors creating the
node name often result in duplicate nodes. This problem also occurs if
the node names of all nodes are initial.
If the structure of the hierarchy is defined as time-dependent, the time
validity of a node can be restricted with the fields DATEFROM and
DATETO. Duplicate nodes generally do not occur if the validity intervals
of two nodes do not overlap in time. In this case check if the fields
DATEFROM and DATETO are correctly filled.
In this case the duplicate nodes are not leaves. If you want to reuse an
existing subtree at another location in the hierarchy, you can refer to
this subtree with a link node. Possibly one of the two duplicate nodes
were incorrectly not marked as link nodes.

Report designer error for hierarchial structure on Columns

Hello,
I have a query with a structure in rows and another one in columns. I also have a 0COMPANY hierarchy Dimension within the Columns.
When I insert the data provider into a report designer report, I receive the following error:
"Query contains a hierarchial structure on Column(s)..."
Has any one encountered this issue before? Is there a note or workaround available?

Hi,
the report designer need to have a fixed number of columns. If you have a Hierarchical Structure in the Columns, the number of columns can change. Therefore Report designer does not allow to use this DP in this drill down. You should place the Row structure to the columns and the hier-structure to the rows. then it should work.

Error in Transporting the Transfer structure

Hi can any body tell me . Iam getting this error while transporting from BW System the transfer structure for 0HR_PY_1_CE.
1. Transfer structure 0HR_PY_1_CE_LA does not exist.
2. Error RSAR 440 during after import handling of objects with type(s) ISTS
3. Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for ISCS L
I have activated the transfer structure through this programme - program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

Check the below notes:
Note 1009638 - RSAR 440 when you activate transfer rules applicable for BI7.0 Less than SP12.
Note 736668 - RSAR 440: Transfer structure & does not exist Applicable for 3.x system.
Please check the above Notes and based on your system patch level and issue you need to choose the right one. Second one deals with the Hierarchy.
