Error in the Transaction CK64 - Costing Run (CK 318 and CK 361)

Hi Everybody,
Please, when I use the transaction CK64 to costing run, i see the following message of error:
1) First Error: CK 318
CK 318 - Cost estimate for material & contains errors -> Planned price
CAUSE
When an assembly was valuated, the system found that the cost component
split of material component &V1& from plant &V2& contains errors.
SYSTEM_RESPONSE
The cost component split with errors is not changed. Instead,
valuation is carried out with a price from the material master. This
result goes into the cost rollup. This happens so that the costing
result of the finished product is still meaningful.
</>Note</> The subsequent valuation is always with valuation variant
&V3&. Valuations with a manual cost component split are not taken
into account. This affects the following two cases:
strategy '8': valuation with manual cost component split
the possibility to calcualte manual cost component splits in addition
to the valuation strategy entered.
WHAT_TO_DO
Analyze the cost component split with errors and solve them.
Where can I found the "cost component split"? Would be a information of Data master material (MM03)?
2) Second Error: CK 361
Value of costing item & in itemization is 0
CAUSE
The cost estimate for the assembly contains item &V2&, which has no
errors, but was costed with a value of zero.
WHAT_TO_DO
Please check item &V1& in the itemization of the assembly concerned.
Where can i found this information of itemization??? I was looking in the data master of the material but i can't find.
Please, how can I solve this problems?
The status of the costing run for this materials is "KF - Costed with errors"

Thank you Rob. I guess our only option is to call each steps of CK40N by separate transactions. Do you know why when calling CK64 (costing) in background, the transaction in BDC will automatically change to CK40N even CK64 is hard-coded?

We also faced the same issue with CK40N costing in previous month. What happened is that during testing in quality the new month started and the system is not allowing back date release. So we have to now open and close periods in MMPV and OB52 which is not possible because MM postings are pending. So the new costing release has to be carried after opening and closing of periods.

I am trying to uninstall VPN Client 5.0.03.0530 and keep getting Error 28007: The Ppptool application is running. Please terminate all Cisco Systems.... Any suggestions on how to uninstall?

Please try the following steps :
1. Click on Start --> Run--> Type services.msc
2. In the services panel, look for "Cisco Systems, Inc. VPN Service"
3. Make a right click on it and stop it.
Please try uninstalling now from add/remove programs.

You should never, EVER let a conputer hard drive get completely full, EVER!
With Macs and OS X, you shouldn't let the hard drive get below 15 GBs or less of free data space.
If it does, it's time for some hard drive housecleaning.
Follow some of my tips for cleaning out, deleting and archiving data from your Mac's internal hard drive.
Have you emptied your iMac's Trash icon in the Dock?
If you use iPhoto, iPhoto has its own trash that needs to be emptied, also.
If you store images in other locations other than iPhoto, then you will have to weed through these to determine what to archive and what to delete.
If you use Apple Mail app, Apple Mail also has its own trash area that needs to be emptied, too!
Look though other Apple Mail folders like the junk mail and delete the mail that is in there. Look through your sent items folders and see there is any mail in there that can be deieted.
Delete any old or no longer needed emails and/or archive to disc, flash drives or external hard drive, older emails you want to save.
Other things you can do to gain space.
Once you have around 15 GBs regained, do a search, download and install OmniDisk Sweeper.
This app will help you locate files that you can move/archive and/or delete from your system.
STAY AWAY FROM DELETING ANY FILES FROM OS X SYSTEM FOLDER!
Look through your Documents folder and delete any type of old useless type files like "Read Me" type files.
Again, archive to disc, flash drives, ext. hard drives or delete any old documents you no longer use or immediately need.
Look in your Applications folder, if you have applications you haven't used in a long time, if the app doesn't have a dedicated uninstaller, then you can simply drag it into the OS X Trash icon. IF the application has an uninstaller app, then use it to completely delete the app from your Mac.
Download an app called OnyX for your version of OS X.
When you install and launch it, let it do its initial automatic tests, then go to the cleaning and maintenance tabs and run the maintenance tabs that let OnyX clean out all web browser cache files, web browser histories, system cache files, delete old error log files.
Typically, iTunes and iPhoto libraries are the biggest users of HD space.
move these files/data off of your internal drive to the external hard drive and deleted off of the internal hard drive.
If you have any other large folders of personal data or projects, these should be archived or moved, also, to the optical discs, flash drives or external hard drive and then either archived to disc and/or deleted off your internal hard drive.

I Have Semi Finished Goods (SFG) and Finished Goods (FG)
At the time of Costing Run I don't want to add Admin& Selling Distribution Expenses for SFG.
For FG, I want to add Admin& Selling Distribution Expenses. So I created 2 Cost sheets and Assigned to 2 Costing Variants through 2 Valuation variants.
For Example

Hi!
To determine an overhead percentage rate using the overhead key, you
need to
1. assign a costing sheet to your order or valuation variant for
     costing.
2. enter in the assigned costing sheet, overheads that use the overhead
     key field. based on over head keys, over head rates can be defined.
3. assign the overhead key to an overhead group.
4   enter the overhead group in the material master record for the
     material to be produced.
I think the above process will work for you.

Internet is working (access this forum) and adoberevel website works fine. Everything works but elements revel sign in from PSE12. PSE12 have been syncing thumbnails for several days - now have 48.000 of my revel library, but now it will not allow me to sign in again from PSE12.

I do not think there actually is a network issue, because if i try another username/password i do get: Please provide valid Adobe ID and/or password to sign in. So i assume PSE12/Revel Agent actually has a network connection to adobe.

You have a 1st Generation Time Capsule.
Your model can produce two bands....either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz....but not both simultaneously.
You would need a Generation 2, 3 or 4 Time Capsule for simultaneous dual band capability.

Please follow these steps and lemme know what you observe.
Go to system administration->support->sap application-> under test and configuration tools choose sap transaction
under the mandatory fields choose the system that you have created, choose a tcode (se16) and choose sap gui for windows and click go.
If you are able to logon to your ecc system, your sso works!
P.S Make sure the user name with which you are testing this, exists in the backend as well.

Error at the time of dep. run

Dear All,
I have assigned the cost centers in the asset master & also create the Dep. GL accounts as a cost element but the problem arise when i run the depreciation.
At the time of running the depreciation run, we are getting the following error, "GL account requires a CO assignment".
The problem is we can't assign one cost center to the cost element because assets are related to different cost centers and depreciation should be posted to different relevant cost centers so we can't assign the cost center in the Depreciation GL cost element.
The requirement is when we run the planned dep., all the dep. related cost should post to relevant asset cost centers.
Even in the OKB9 settings, we can assign only one cost center against that dep.gl cost element.
Kindly do the needful.

It is clear that your Org structure is different. You cant post deprciation to various cost centres. Post it to one cost centre and then go for assement/distribution. Alternatively you can use TCode KB11N for manual reposting from one cost centre to another.

Having trouble when I launch iTunes (version 11.0.2) on my Dell Laptop running Windows 7 Professional (service pack 1). I get an error message indicating software required to communicate with iPod and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you? I normally respond with OK and it immediately tells me "could not be repaired. Please reinstall iTunes..." I have done this a number of times to no avail.

I also notice Quicktime is not getting installed at all.
That one is normal nowadays (ever since the iTunes versions 10.5.x).
The software required for communicating with iPods and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

Runtime error in the transaction S_ALR_*

Hi SDN-ers,
I have a problem with the transaction S_ALR_8******2 in my PROD system.
Although I can open it, then instantly a page with ABAP runtime error occurs.
I ran SE16 and entered the Table Name TSTCT and entered S_ALR* to find out all the Tcodes which starts with S_ALR with Description too.
1) Is there any other way / T-Code availbale in viewing S_ALR_8******2.
2) What are all the User Parameters that need to be changed for this and where can we find them?
Please help me in resolving this issue.

When using Java Wizard with Firefox 3.6.23 on a Mac OS X 10.6.8 it keep getting an error message: "The Java Wizard cannot run. Please configure your browser to allow Java applets to access the filesystem." Have NO idea how to fix this problem.

When trying to upload files I received the following error: "The Java Wizard cannot run. Please configure your browser to allow Java applets to access the filesystem."

If the problem is with a site that is hosted using MOVEit DMZ by Ipswitch, please notify the site owner of the issue and ask them to apply the patch that is available on the support site to resolve the issue.
This is a better resolution than downgrading your version of Java that was updated due to security issues.
