I have a question, I udnerstand in (Create one expense type "Estimated Costs") but my question is in using transaction
When you start using the trip transaction and select a travel request the system send you to the TP04 transaction... now
with this new function, I have to use the transaction PR05 its right? becouse the TP04 ask the VORS expense type, and sap says to dont delete record
Please could you tell me with wich transaction you start to create a travel request? I have the same problem of the screen but Im not sure to use the TP04 transaction wit this solution

Error in travel management while saving trip request

Hi All,
At the time of creating a travel request, I am getting the following error :
Error while writing to the database (PTRV_HEAD/PTRV_PERIO/Cluster TE). after ssiging the number range also its showing same error while saving.
Please advise how to resolve this issue.

such problem occor when u have not defined the number range
Set Up Trip Number Ranges
if the problems remaines after defining number range...keep check all transaction there may two three more numbers ranges has to define..
this prblem is only due to number ranges not defined by you.
When we create the number ranges we must be carefull to create the subintervals with two digit numbers. For example:
01 000000001 19999999999
02 200000000 2999999999
If you put:
1 000000001 19999999999
2 200000000 2999999999
Then the error appears.

Error in Travel Management " Trip has no postable amounts "

Hi experts,
i am working in Travel Menegement. i have done all the configurations when i try to post the Advance it returns an error: " Trip has no postable amounts". while i post the other expense it successfully run.
Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?

Symptom
You use the Travel Expenses for paying trip advances that you create with Transaction PR03.
In the 'Schema and Field Control' (Transaction FITVFELD), you have deactivated the 'Cash payment indicator' field (PTK08-KASSA) for schemaVS (Trip advances) so that the field is not visible in Transaction PR05.
When you attempt to transfer a trip advance to FI (Transaction PRRQ), the system generates error message 56809 "Trip has no postable amounts", and the process fails.
This system response only occurs if you save the trip after entering the advance amount, but not if you have confirmed the entry before saving.
Reason and Prerequisites
The 'Cash payment indicator' (VSCH-CASH) is automatically set when you enter an advance amount.When you immediately save the trip without entry confirmation, the system does not recognize whether the field has been hidden in the schema and field control and thus would have to remain blank.

Hi alll,
I am trying to change an address in PRMD tx code
Error message: Enter a house number
Also it is not possible to change existing addresses as the same error comes up.
I also tried in other company codes and there it seem to work fine so the issue might only be for company code 0376
Could you please let me know if there is any restrictions from the field u201Cstreet and house numberu201D so that it can be entered and changed as free form text?

Are you sure you mean PRMD? This is the T-code to update HR master data and is not related to travel management!
Did you mean PRAA perhaps if you were trying to update master data from HR to vendor as there are some known issues around the structure of the PRAA report and house number and address (see the notes 570023 and 663350)

Dear All,
I am very new to ESS portal. We are using ECC 6.0 and EP 7.0. when i tried to access the SAP supplied iview in the travel managment, i am getting the following error.
Also when i go through the help portal, i read that from ECC 7.0 SAP is going to support only ABAP/Webdynpro version and no JAVA/webdynpro version. is it so?

What is the difference between SAPESS10P_10...sca and BPERP5ESS11_0...sca? Do I need to install both on portal server?

ESS Travel Management - Create Expense report error

Hi,
I am getting below error when "creating expense report" from the portal iView. We are implementing ONLY Travel Expenses subcomponent in the SAP Travel Management, and NOT implementing Travel Requests and Travel Planning.

I am having the same issue but with table TA20C. Like you, we are not using Travel Requests or Travel Planning. I posted a note on ASUG and got a response back from someone else with the same issue. They opened an OSS note and received the following:
"the webdynpro travel services require a minimal consistent
travel planning customizing - if you only use the expenses part.
The consistency check of the customizing is within 1 function module
for both parts planning and expenses. This is indeed not the case in
backend. There will be no change.
The arguments for the tables TA20C and TA20B are influences by the#
return value delivered back from feature TRVOF. So if you only have
entries with user group blank you must ensure that the feature
delivers back a blank user group."

In adition to task from Shailaja .. Consider this:
Please note that while defining your number ranges, the number must be two Digits i.e ( 01,02,03) , it must NOT be single digit i.e (1,2,3)..
I'd had the same issue, but with the two digits number it has been solved.

Travel Management Employee Grouping for Domestic Travel per diems

Dear All,
I have a scenario in Travel management
Scenario
Client has Domestic Travel, only in India under India they have Class A cities, Class B Cities and Class C, For Class A different Per diems rate with respect to the Employees Grade Eg i have created the EG for Travel Expense type like 1 Manager 2 for Senior MGR and so on For Manager for Class A cities will have different Per diems Class B Cities will have Diff Per diems and so on
I have Created Z1 as the Trip Country
under Z1 ClassA
Z1 Class B
Z1 Class C like this and under Define Accomodation per diems for my trip provison variant under that for my trip country z1 and trip region Class A for employee grade wise i have given the Max amount and finally this trip country Z1 i have assigned it to the Domestic Schema but i cannot assign the Trip region there since i have Class Aand B and C My question is will it work for all my Class A and B and C cites too when i am doing PR05 system shlould restrict if any employee is claiming more than his eligliblity Please let me Know wheather my setting is enough for this or not if not let me know the best solution

Hi Raghu Kumar,
First of all, if you have set warning message then system will not stop you and will give only warning message...
if you want to stop up to the max limit then you have to set the option Error message for exceeding maximum rate instead of warning message.
Secondly if even system is not giving you any warning message then check you influence control parameters (V_T702N_I)... (check it in detail)
Then again check your V_T706B2...
Also check the entries in travel expense sheet pr05, trip country and region shall also be entered in travel expense sheet...

Although this design checks for syntax successfully, creates an exception error (An exception with the type CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause) during program execution.
Can you guys through some light on what could be the problem here?

404 Resource Not Found In UWL for Display Request in Travel Management

Issue regarding Uwl in Travel Management.In Mss inbox when approver clicks on display form for travel request its throwing error like 404 resource not found.
i have check all uwl iview properties like list actions to be excluded and Xml code etc.

In relation to the scenario that you have described you mentioned that:
Once a user (via the MSS Inbox) clicks on the display form for travel request you are encountering a 404 resource not found error.
Ok so the first means of analysis is to ensure the UWL Destination Service Configuration is setup and maintained accordingly. Kindly review and consult the documentation below carefully.
SAP Note: 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration
After ensuring the destination(s) are setup accordingly and if the issue persists kindly restart the UWL service and clear the UWL cache to see if that resolves the issue.
In the destination configuration kindly ensure there are no discrepancies or misconfigurations.
Now have you navigated to your current connector setup and viewed the status columns to see if there are any exceptions appearing?
Lastly kindly check if the URL being called (at the request page) is correct.
Kindly update me as per your findings.

Error initiating travel expense form

Dear Guru's,
We have an issue displaying the Travel Expense form in ESS. We are not using the PDF forms but the HTML , no ADS has been set up and followed the exact steps mentioned in SAP Note 1032311. So we deleted the URL parameter in the URL parameter from the resource and set the PDC path as a non-static URL to the tripform. We deleted also the Iview property ....UsePDF=true.
Next we changed the setting in the Travel Management Expert View refering to Adobe Forms from 0 into 1, and we modified feature TRVFE using the SAP form PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM .
We tested the forms in trx TRIP, PR05 and PR_WEB_1200 and all results were positive since the form is displayed. However using the Iview create travel expenses the ' Error intiating trip forms' remains. The Iview My trips and expenses gives the same negative result trying to display/print the form. However the Iview display trip form seems to do something and is only given the error that the trip parameter for the pernr is missing while previewing it, which is clear since no trip has been selected.
Help needed.

Please check you have the correct roles assigned for the URL in PCD path as this is a common cause of this type of error

Can you open it from portal in administrator mode?
Also check note 944221 to check the ADS config.

Error in Travel Request for Non Payroll Relevant Employees

While implementing Travel Management, we have employees who have their payroll areas as 01 (monthly) as well as 99 (non payroll relevant). We are implementing travel management for both types of employees so that they can create travel requests/expenses.
For employees who have 99, we are facing problem. If we create a request for an employee of 99 it does not allow to save and gives error
'No entry in table T549Q for argument 00 at time <current date>'
In table V_T549Q there is no such period parameter called 99.
However in table V_T549A the 'Period Parameters' for 99 is kept blank, while for 01, it is 01. I tried assigning 01 as the 'Period Parameters' for 99 in V_T549A.
Now, as this 'Period Parameters' 01 is there in V_T549Q, and I try to create a travel request, it gives another error,
'Error while writing to the database (PTRV_HEAD/PTRV_PERIO/Cluster TE)'
In feature TRVPA, the entry L+G is 0, i.e. no integration with payroll and PA3 is also 0.
Am I missing anything because of which I am not able to create travel requests for employees with payroll area 99.
How can I disable the integration with payroll completely?

Dear all,
When we see privew under Employee self service --> ERP 2005 EhP2 --> iviews -->travel and expenses --> create travel request
Here I'm getting
Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
Exception ID: 02:19_26/02/11_0006_39627050
Refer to the log file for details about this exception.
But it is working fine under Employee self service --> iviews -->travel and expenses --> create travel request.
What could be reason, any body reply me.
