Hi
Firstly, I would make sure you are running the correct version of TSP as downloaded from your CCM (it changes when you upgrade or apply SRs).
If you are running the correct version I would refer back to the vendor of whatever application is using the TSP for support... if it's something common post back further information on the application and the problems it is causing you and someone may be able to help...

Cisco TSP 8.6(2.2).
I am trying to install Cisco TSP on a Windows 7 32bit workstation, but I am having issues. We are using a management program called "Connectwise". My boss wants to be able to dial a customer within the "Connectwise" program to log calls. Our other office has a Shortel phone system and Shortel's TSP program works fine. I've installed Cisco TSP, configured CTI ports, configured a CTI routepoint, enabled the user for CTI, and associated the user with the CTI ports/route point. When I try to dial a number within Connectwise, nothing happens. Within the Cisco TSP logs these errors are logged:
16:23:36.418 HDR|05/07/2012 CiscoTSP001.tsp,Error
16:23:36.418 | CSelsiusTSPWaveList::Init() *ERROR* Failed to get ISelsiusNTWaveCtl interface.
16:23:36.419 | SelsiusTSP::InitializeComObjects() *ERROR* Failed m_WaveList->Init(). hr=0x80040154
17:02:12.513 | CSelsiusTSPLink::getMessage() *ERROR* Receive() failed with error 0.
I have tried to use the Windows "Dialer" program to test as well, but receive this error:
One or more telephone device drivers are incompatible with TAPI.DLL. Install an updated version.
I have installed Cisco TSP with both the WAVE driver and the new MEDIA driver. I receive the same error with either driver. I've also tried this on multiple workstations, but get the same error.
HelpI engaged TAC and the engineer pinpointed following error from the CTI Logs:
Login User Id:platju Reason code.:-1932787595
This is the Cisco documentation on this error code:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/jtapi_dev/8_6_1/constantfieldvalues.html
The engineer suspected LDAP server is not able to authenticate CTI based connections correctly although HTTP based connections (CCMUSER Web Page access) or JTAPI based connections (UCCX) are working fine.
We created an application user in CUCM and the Dialer.exe showed Cisco Line as expected. The engineer did assign all CTI roles (Not only Standard CTI Enabled) except Secure CTI ones. The End User didn't work no matter what we try.
As of now, I've asked the AD team to look at their side or engage Microsoft to debug it at their end. Hopefull that'll resolve the issue. -

Can not get the Cisco TSP to show UP - 2003 64bit
Can not get the Cisco TSP to show up on the list of Providers in Phone and Modem Options- Advance tab. Installed ver. 4.1, it seems to install correctly, with no errors but when I restart the server, there is no Cisco TSP001.tsp in the providers list. It works perfectly on my Windows 2003 servers, but will not work on this new Windows 2003 64 bit server. Any tricks to getting this to load?
Thanks
KeithHi
There is no 64-bit TSP yet. Whilst 32-bit apps will work OK for the most part on 64-bit via the WoW function, drivers tend to not be so flexible, and that's what TSP is...
You'll have to bother your Cisco accounts folks to get this prioritised, it is upsetting a lot of people...

CUAC Advanced - Upgrading TSP 8.6.2 to 10.5.1
Hi,
I'm upgrading a customer's UC suite which includes CUAC.
The customer was previously running CUBAC 8.6.2, but I upgraded the AC server to CUAC Advanced 10.5.1. as the first step in the UC suite upgrades. So currently the TSP installed in CUAC Advanced matches their CUCM version of 8.6.2.
This Wednesday I'm upgrading the customer's CUCM to 10.5.1, my question is regarding the upgrade of the TSP file in CUAC. Do I need to uninstall the existing TSP, reboot, then install the new TSP and reboot. Or can I simply install the new TSP 'over-the-top' of the existing TSP and reboot once?
DaveOK,
Just reporting back on my experience with this.
Once the migration of CUCM to 10.5.1 had completed, I opened the console to the CUAC server. There was a prompt on the server notifying me that CUAC had detected a different version of CiscoTSP running on CUCM. The prompt showed me that CUAC was running 8.6.2 and it detected 10.5.1. The prompt asked if I'd like to proceed with an 'automatic update' to 10.5.1.
'This is too easy' I thought... and it was. The installer bombed out with an error (I didn't pay attention to the cause). Anyway, the result was that I uninstalled the previous TSP, rebooted, installed the new TSP and ran through the 'add new hardware' wizard, then rebooted once more and all of the CTI devices registered to 10.5.1.
It looks like Cisco are trying to make things easier, which is a good thing - but in my case the auto update of TSP failed.

Hi,
I've trouble making the TSP connection to a CUM 8.6 cluster.
I am using windows 7 64 Bit PC and installed the "CiscoTSPx64.exe" as a fresh, did a reboot and configured the required paramenters (CTI Server/Username PWD).
When I use dialer.exe, I don't see Cisco line available. When I go to install the WAVE driver, I don't see WAVE folder created. I searched for OEMSETUP.INF, couldn't find it anywhere.
I put the TSP client in trace mode which generated the output mentioned below. I am sure my username/pwd is correct as I can login to CUCMUSER webpage from the same PC.
I've tried installing TSP plugin from following CUCM versions:
CUCM version: 8.6.2.22900-9
CUCM Version: 8.6.2.20000-2
When I install 32 bit TSP client, I do see WAVE folder created but when I try to install it, it throws an error saying this application is not supported on 64bit OS.

KapilHi Zane,
We are using Microsoft AD as LDAP Server. We engaged Microsoft support who ran a utility on one of the domain controller and confirmed that LDAP authentication on port 3268 is successful.
TAC engineer later pointed out that we may be hitting the following BUG and advised an upgrade:
Bug ID: CSCts99665
CTI Authentication failure + OutOfMemoryError:

Error when installing on Redhat
Hello, we have just downloaded the evaluation version of the Sun Global Desktop application and would like to test it to see if it suits our needs. We are actually testing this inside a virtual server (Linux Vserver) on CentOS 5 (basically the same thing as Redhat).
Installing the RPM works fine but when running /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella start, I accept the license agreement and default installation settings, and I get the following output:

It will now exit. A technical description is given below to help
establish the cause.
The JServer failed to restart.
The Secure Global Desktop server cannot continue to run.
Fix the problem which caused the JServer to fail to start.It looks as if the RPM file is missing some files however I'd imagine everyone else would be having the same problem. Any ideas?Oh well looks like we'll have to go with citrix.

=== Verbose logging stopped: 24.10.2014 10:38:15 ===Running into the same issue over here. It seems like it has to do with applying a transform to the installation, so it could be related with a particular setting put in place using the Adobe Customization Wizard.
It's really kind of hit or miss, because it appears to affect those with previous versions of Acrobat or Reader installed, but that isn't always the case.
Had this happen to systems that haven't had any sort of Adobe product installed prior.
It's always the same thing too. Error 1603 is spit out after it can't remove select files in C:\Windows\Installer
After digging through the system, the files that it's looking to delete aren't even there to begin with. -
Error in Policy_Filter function
Ok, I'm getting an internal error when trying to execute a policy_filter of binary content to HTML.
This was working a week ago, but obviously we've transgressed the unwritten law.

*Action: Correct the problem as described in the error message or contact
the application administrator or DBA for more information.Any insight would be... helpful.I am guessing that the problem may be in some part that was left out in order to simplify it. Was this something that worked in 10g, but not 11g? I have noticed that 11g handles some things differently. 11g seems to do some automatic creation and freeing of temporary space and it causes problems if you try to do that as you did with 10g. I would check any case where you have used createtemporary or freetemporary or checked if something is null. Please see the simple demo below that works for me.

Hello,
I have an integration between Unity 4.2(1) and CME 4.1(0) which, until Friday last week was working fine.
I got a complaint that users couldn't get theri voicemail and have found that the ports on CME unregister and register every 60 seconds (see below)
Has anyone seen this before and knows a solution.
I've checked that the TSP v8.2(1) is supported for both and I've completely removed the config from CME and redone, but no change.
Any Ideas ?
Thanks
Chris

MA-CAS-2851-01#Hi,
I have already booted the server, had no choice as Unity shut down completely when I made a change in UTIM !
The only events I see are in the App log of EventViewer and they're merely telling me via a TSP error that a port has unregistered.
The Unity server has multiple integrations, ports : 24 to CM4, 6 to CM7 and 2 to CME. (32 ports in total)
Only the CME has any issues and it was working perfectly well for the last 3 months !
Any thoughts?

Scaling images and Out of memory error
Hi all,
Does anyone knows why this code throws an out of memory error?
It loads an image (2048x1166 pixels) and saves it at bufi1 (BufferedImage). After that:
1- Rescale bufi1 to bufi13A (x3).
2. Rescale bufi1 to bufi12 (x2).
3. Rescale bufi1 to bufi13B (x3).
At 3, the code throws an oome. Why?
Thanks in advance!
import java.io.*;
import javax.imageio.*;
import java.awt.geom.*;
import java.awt.image.*;
public class TestScalePercent {
public static void main(String[] args) {
TestScalePercent tsp=new TestScalePercent();
BufferedImage bufi1=null;
try {
bufi1 = ImageIO.read(new File("foo.png"));//2048x1166 pixels
} catch (Exception e){
e.printStackTrace();
BufferedImage bufi13A=tsp.scale(bufi1,3,3);//--> OK
BufferedImage bufi12=tsp.scale(bufi1,2,2);//--> OK
BufferedImage bufi13B=tsp.scale(bufi1,3,3);//-->OOM error!
public BufferedImage scale(BufferedImage bufiSource, double scaleX, double scaleY){
AffineTransform tx = new AffineTransform();
tx.scale(scaleX,scaleY);
AffineTransformOp op = new AffineTransformOp(tx, AffineTransformOp.TYPE_NEAREST_NEIGHBOR);
BufferedImage bufiop=op.filter(bufiSource, null);//--> Creates the OOM error...
return op.filter(bufiop, null);
}How much memory does your machine have?
That image is quite large. If my math is correct and
assuming the image has 32-bit color the original
image takes up 76.5 megs of memory by itself. Then
you are trying to create three other versions of it.
It isn't lying to you, it is indeed probably running
out of memory to hold the images.OK. Now I'm wondering if is it possible to free memory between bufi13A - bufi12, and bufi12 - bufi13B? I've tried to invocate the garbbage collector but nothing happens...
Thanks! -
Hi all,
I am trying to install CUEAC Attendant Server on Windows Server 2008 R2, tried several times. First, it got stuck on the Databahse Wizard. After three reinstalls, it still got stuck but somehow built the configure database named CFGATT and then started installing TSP. Finally, the setup has been finished and I went to the WebAdmin page. After I entered the login information, it gave an error : "
Unable to connect to the server.. Error Data : API_NOT_INITIALIZED"
I searched through the forum and found this topic :
https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/1215763
Here I found that there's a bug and I tried to do the fix myself as instructed :
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCte44454
However, it changed nothing, looking forward to your responses.
Regards,
FikriFikri,
It is not working as this is not a supported environment, the current release is not supported on Windows Server 2008 R2.
The next release (April 2013) will support that version of Windows Server. -
Project 2013: Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded
We recently upgraded to 2013 from 2007. Now some of my Resource mgrs who are also PM's are getting this message on the approval screen:
Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded
I figured out it's the timesheets that are not displaying, but even deleting and resubmitting them does not change the message. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It seems to be related to the security, but I haven't figured out which permission
is missing.Hi there,
This is a
currently unfixed known bug with Project Server 2013 at least up until Oct 2013 CU caused when PM's delete tasks/assignments after the task has already been added to a user's timesheet.
You could turn off single entry to make this go away - but many people actually rely on actuals from timesheets coming through to their projects.
The other way to fix this (temporarily) is to delete and re-create the affected timesheets.
When you navigate to the approval center and receive the "Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded" message, check the ULS log you will see a message like this:
Node Consistency Error: Exception loading Assignment. Uid=6c5a411f-1f80-e211-a2cb-001e37e5967d
Selecting from the database with this Uid will tell you which user's timesheet is corrupt.
Personally I use a SQL script like this:
SELECT
ts.TimesheetName,
tsr.ResourceName,
tspe.PeriodName
,tsp.ProjectName,
tst.TaskName
FROM
[ProjectServer].[dbo].[MSP_TimesheetLine]
tsl
inner join
MSP_Timesheet ts
on tsl.TimesheetUID
= ts.TimesheetUID
inner join
MSP_TimesheetResource tsr
on ts.OwnerResourceNameUID
= tsr.ResourceNameUID
inner join
MSP_TimesheetProject tsp
on tsl.ProjectNameUID
= tsp.ProjectNameUID
inner join
MSP_TimesheetStatus tss
on ts.TimesheetStatusID
= tss.TimesheetStatusID
inner join
MSP_TimesheetTask tst
on tsl.TaskNameUID
= tst.TaskNameUID
inner join
MSP_TimesheetPeriod tspe
on ts.PeriodUID
= tspe.PeriodUID
inner join
[ProjectServer].[pub].[MSP_TIMESHEETS]
pubTs
on pubTs.TS_UID
= ts.TimesheetUID
where
tsl.AssignmentUID
= '6c5a411f-1f80-e211-a2cb-001e37e5967d'
and pubTs.TS_STATUS_ENUM
= 1
I then create a delegate as that user - go and take a screenshot of the timesheet, delete it, and recreate it.
Undelegate, go back to the approval center, if the error is still there, then look at the ULS log, rinse and repeat.
(As you can tell - this is part of my weekly routine)
Cheers,
James.

MGW error logs for Cpu utlization
Dear All
We are using Cisco AS5400 as mgw, we often found during call peak hrs thsi mgw's showing error logs for cpu utlization. I have following questions in regards to thsi error.
1. why this error logs comes?
2. where & what we need to chcek? any hardware or IOS issue?
3. main and important thing whether during such error logs there is load on MGW and due to over cpu utlization call which attempt on MGW may failed? if yesy its failed with MGW end or failed from source end as abondan? or else if MGW disconnect then what is ISDN casue code.
we are using PGW in signalling or nailed mode.
Please help me with this
