Error in Unit of Hours

Sorry iam posting the same thread which was posted last week. Iam getting Error in Unit of Hours instead of display as H it shows as ERR. The data in ODS is fine it is(2.3 H)when i update into cube Unit of work is dropped (2.3 ). There are no routines in update rules and nothing has to do with Global Settings, this problem is in BW from ODS to Cube to the report. Answers are highly appreciated.

Now,I am getting an error that "Unit of measure SET differs from unit of measure EA in order item 1540027326 00020" where my 00020 item no. is having UOM as EA and item no. 10 is having UOM as SET(and it is a deleted line item ).
My question is why it is saying unit diffres as even in FM I am giving the right UOM i.e. EA
While SET is a unit of first line item which is deleted.

But the Unit is not fixed for D. there are number of transaction takes place and accordingly the units are. That is why I can not hard code it.

Why am I getting an error about units?

I have Labview 7 Express Student Edition on a Dell laptop with XP Pro. I was building a vi with the Simulate Signal Express vi, connecting pointer slides to the amplitude and frequency terminals. I got a broken wire and an error message on the frequency terminal; the error said 'units are incompatible'. There was no error or broken wire on the amplitude terminal.
On the slider, I tried showing units and typing in 'Hz'. This didn't help. How does one setup the units for amplitude and frequency...both at the slider and at the simulate signal express vi?

Thanks Jeff. According to the book that included the student edition cd, there is a demo vi that does what I want to do. I couldn't find it in the learning directory so I was trying to recreate it as shown in the book. The vi diagram in the book (about page 514) doesn't include the Convert Unit primitive.
I'm trying to come up with some audio demonstrations for an 8th grade class, illustrating wavelength measurement and constructive and destructive interference. I'd like to be able to connect a signal from the vi to the laptop's audio output jack. I've searched ni.com, looking for a way to both display a sine wave and play the tone in the speaker but no luck so far.
I might have to just create .wav files and play them. It sure would be fun to
be able to move the slider's pointer and let them hear the change in tone.

TDMS file error occurs after several hours

I have a compiled LabVIEW 2010 SP1 executable running on a Windows 7 PXI computer that is occasionally producing the following error message:
"LabVIEW: LabVIEW could not load the TDMS file component.
The top-level VI <my VI's name> was stopped at unknown on the block diagram of <my VI's name>"
This program is interfacing with equipment under test over a number of PXI cards and ethernet connections. It alters inputs to the system based on script commands, while receiving and displaying outputs. During testing, state changes are sent to a TDMS file. The system can run for hours but will usually produce the above error message... eventually.
The error seems to indicate that a LabVIEW file is missing, but the TDMS files are being created, so I may not be understanding the meaning of the error. Does anyone know what the actual cause(s) of this error message are?

The code writes to the TDMS file using the "TDMS Write" VI from the TDM Streaming Palette. These write VIs are located in 12 different sub VIs in a program loop within my main VI. Every 50ms they execute, service the I/O, and write to the TDMS file if data in the particular sub VI has changed state. Some are writing floating point numbers, most are writing strings. There are about 750 total channels being written. I know that posting the code would be more usefull than describing it, but I think posting the source code would be frowned upon by my company. There are over a hundred custom VIs and external hardware connections that are required to effectively run this code anyway.
Regarding timing, there doesn't seem to be a particular amount of time that has to pass before this issue occurs. I was given a screenshot that shows the error occured after 11 hours of running. I was also told that the same error had occured about 6+ hours into a test once. I can say that this error doesn't seem to occur quickly, as in within the first hour or so. It seems to require long duration tests.

The Input Code given in the Note 370195 SAP Developer can not find in our system.
SAP Note 331715 already implemented in our system.

Error as unit of measure PC not defined for language RO while creation ofPO

Hi GUYS,
When am trying to create a PO in ME21N transaction i got error as below,
unit of measure PC not defined for language RU
Message no. 06079
Table 006A contains no entry for this unit of measure
Please let me know what action to be taken from my side to over come this issue.
Note: If i check the related vendor i could able to view that the language maintained as RU.

As mentioned by you earlier i have tried to login with languae RU in Q system but unfortunately i got an error saying taht language not installed.
Also we found for Language - EN and UOM - PC has been maintianed in T006A table.But if i check for lanugage - RU and UOM PC combinatoin has not manintaned in T006A table.
Please let me know how to maintain the values in this table T006A for combination Lang - RU and UOM - PC.
Please revert back with your soilution.
Note: I have tried in SM30 but failed due to below error

In attempt to burn blu-ray, I get QuickTime error 0. Takes hours to export a 7 minute movie from timeline, then get notice it fails. What's going on here?

New problem just started 24 hours ago. When I try to export from the time line to create a QuickTime file, a 7 minute movie on time line takes 3 hours to export and then the export fails, where as a few days ago, that export would take about 10 minutes at most. I get the same failure notice when I try to share to blu-ray, DVD, or Vimeo. Tried to use compressor, no such luck as compressor failed to make a .mov file. I get QuickTime error 0 message about 5 minutes into trying to share to Blu-Ray now. Does anyone know what is going on here? I'm running latest update of Snow Leopard on an intel Mac Pro and the latest update to Final Cut Pro X. I've also installed QT 7.6.6 to use in creating time lapse movie files.

Same problem here, too. Final Cut Pro X 10.0.3 on OS 10.6.8. However, it is only doing it on ONE of my projects. A 4-second test project burned successfully.
I'm actually going to use iDVD to burn copies for a few people, so I only need the movie file from FCPX.
Would someone please post best export settings for use on a DVD? In FCPX, the project is in HD (1080p) with all media optimized to ProRes 442. I know it will have to be down-sampled to DVD resolution, but I've always been curious to know what settings will result produce the best possible quality in DVD resolution.

[TNS-12560: Protocol Adapter Error] after every 48 Hours

Dear All,
Our company encountered a very strange Oracle database issue, here is the details:
Environment
1. Dell 2950 Server with Windows Server 2003, Oracle 9i 9.2.0.1 and WebLogic Platform Server 8.1 SP3 installed;
2. Two databases on the Oracle, one is called FAX and it is a schema located in the original DB database; another one is called EIP, it is a new database created by IT staff;
3. Two applications installed on this server, the first one is a Visual C++ developed Avaya Call Routing system (BCCS), this system will query data from the EIP database; Another one is a WebLogic and JAVA based system (EIP), users access this system by using IE at client computer and this system also uses the EIP database;
4. We have a standalone fax-out server with faxboard installed and used to send fax, this server uses the FAX database;
Issue
1. Before Jun.6, everything is OK;
2. At Jun.6 night, we installed two new applications on two new server, these applications will read and write data to the EIP database via network;
3. Jun.9 12:30, we found the BCCS cannot connect to the database, error message is [TNS-12560: Protocol Adapter Error], we checked and found all Oracle's services are running properly including the TNSListener;
4. We reboot the server and then everything is OK;
5. Jun.12 10:41, Jun.14 12:46 and Jun.16 20:51, same issue occurred again, we simply reboot the server and everything is OK
It is very interesting that we found the issue always occur after 48~55 hours we reboot the server, but cannot find more useful information; there is also no failed information in the Oracle alert log.
Please share some ideas with me, thanks a lot.

1. This issue occurs on application which were installed on the computer with Oracle installed, and there is no firewall on this computer, so I believe that it is not related network.
2. Please let me know how to check the error stack and turn on tracing.

Cairgorm 3 sample applications - errors in unit tests

After the last update the sample applications started to work - they now even show images.
But the unit tests for Commands are reporting errors on my machine:
TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert []@56443a9 to XMLList.
at asmock.integration.flexunit::ASMockClassRunner/withBeforeClasses
at org.flexunit.runners::ParentRunner/classBlock(ParentRunner.as:221)
etc...
As I am just starting to explore unit testing, I do not know how to debug it.
Can someone help me?

Hi,
Could you confirm that you are running the unitTests using the InSyncBasicTestRunner.mxml? Also make sure that you don't have another version of FlexUnit4 on your classpath (Project->Properties->Flex Build Path) as the one shipped with the latest version of Flash Builder may conflict with the version of ASMock we are using at this time.
Let me know if you are still experiencing issues with the test suite.

Query - Error in Unit of Measure

Hi SDN Gurus,
I have a few reports with the following situations:
1. I see 'ERR' below the column header on a key figure
2. Or 'ERROR' below the column header on a key figure
3. Or 'ERROR" after a value in a key figures specific to a PO/Item transaction
4. Sometimes there is no error upon the first selection but a subsequent filter within the same data set brings in the ERROR label below the column header or after the individual key figures, as in the case 3 above.
Can you point to any documentation/forum messages as to the various causes of this behavior?

Dear Shahid,
The Err in UOM is shown because of invalid units for the particular KF.
One easy way to remove this is, use the KF in a formula with NODIM function. Though not recommended, its the easiest way to remove the Err unit.
Else you may look into all the units for this KF and identify the error unit. It might also because of multiple units for the same KF, which it couldnt identify and give ERR. So if the unit is currency, curency conversion will be the ultimate solution.

Error 1200323 after long hours of running business rules?

Hi all,
I am experiencing some problems with running business rules....
I got a sequence which includes about 20 business rules to run....
After several hours of running this sequence, it shows the errorcode: 1200323, which said that "Error parsing formula for [REGION DEFINITION] (line 1): expression expected after [(].
However, worst of all, this error does not always happen. Sometimes, I could run this sequence successfully without any error happening.
Any one experienced the same problem before?
Any suggestion are welcome and appreciated....

Error in Unit conversion while data loading

Hi,
I have maintained DSO in Material (0MATERIAL) info object > Bex tab > Base unit of measure > ZDSO; Then loaded this ZDSO from std data source 0MAT_UNIT_ATTR so that all conversion factors into different units which are maintained in material master data in ECC would get loaded to this DSO.
Then I have created one Conversion type (ZCON) to read source unit from record and convert it to fixed unit "ST" with reference info object as 0MATERIAL. ST is customized UOM here.
I am using ZCON conversion type to convert Qty in base UOM to Qty in ST in Bex reports under conversion tab of key figure. Now as this is std functionally, conversion would automatically takes place using ZDSO (mentioned above) as source and target UOM are not from same dimension (Base UOM is EA and target UOM is ST).
If conversion factor to ST is not found in ZDSO then conversion to base UOM would happen automatically. Now this functionality is happening perfectly in Bex but its giving error if I use the same conversion type ZCON while data loads. Its giving error for those material for which ST conversion is not maintained. But when its not maintained by default it should convert it to base UOM, but its not converting and giving error in data loads.
Hope I am able to explain the issue.
Please help me on on this issue or any way around.

MIGO Error- Order Unit & Order Price Unit

Hi,
I have a material whose base UOM is EA & alternate UOM is KG.(Conversion is maintained in the Material Master).
I have created a PO for this material with order unit as EA & order price unit as KG.
Now,when I try to do the GR using MIGO,I get the following error message:
"Quantities cannot be converted for the the Material".
i.e, the system is not able to do the conversion between EA & KG.
How to resolve this issue? Please advise.

I had tried a similar thing with another material & it was working fine.
To summarise my problem once again,please see the below data maintained by me:
MMR-
Base UOM in EA
Alternate UOM in KG (25 KG = 1EA)
PO-
Order unit in EA
Order price unit in KG
With the above settings,MIGO is giving me the error:
Quantities cannot be converted for the material.
Please advise.
