Hello experts,
We are getting error while changing the UOM for one material from M to PC.
Error is 'Stock is existing in plant' but actually there is no stock available in plant. We already cleared the stock. What could be the other reasons??
Please help me to solve this.
Thanks in advance.
ShyamRefer this OSS :: 30656 - Change base unit of measure/batch mngt requirement
Please check whether stocks still exist for the previous period by displaying, for example, the plant stock view or storage location stock view of the material. You do this by selecting "Extras -> Previous period -> Prev. pd SLoc. stock or Prev. pd plant stock".
If previous period stocks exist, you can make a withdrawal posting as follows:
1. Post the same amount to current period stock (for example, using movement type 561) so that previous period stock and current period stock are identical.
2. Make a withdrawal posting in the previous period for the stock together with posting date (for example, using movement type 562).
You can now try again to change the base unit of measure

Error in UOMs when using Bookmarks
Hi,
I have a Forecast Consumption report which has 4 tabs: Data Analysis (which gives UOMs in KGs) , U.S. UOM View (which converts UOMs to LBs), Chart Display and Report Information.
An interesting problem faced by an User. When the User runs the Forecast Consumption report from the web, he is able to see UOMs in KGs in Data Analysis tab and in LBs under U.S. UOM View, which is expected.
But when he tries to execute the report using bookmarks, he is able to view only KGs in both the tabs in Data Analysis tab and under U.S. UOM View.
Have checked all the settings and everything seems fine but cannot figure out why U.S. UOM is showing in KGs when the report is run via bookmark. Has anybody encountered this issue. Any help would be appreciated.Do you know how to use the 'result' parameter of the query
tag to get
the actual, complete SQL statement sent to the database.
Looking at
this may tell you what your issue is. -

What is the problem ?Hi,
I think the problem lies in the MDM-JAVA-API, as you are receiving a NoClassDefFoundError. I've seen a similar problem where the error was solved by deploying a newer Java API. Maybe the following documentation can be helpful:

Error in p.o creation during waste diposal process in wae02 transaction
Hi All,
I created an entry doument in WAE01 transaction, then i assigned G/L a/c number and cost center and posted entry document succesfully. But i am not able to create purchase order. I am getting error like 1. Entry document does not exist and 2. unit of measurement for waste material converstion from KG to ST is not possible.
note -
1. the unit of measurement is correct in both material master, contract and in waste entry document line item.
2. Assigned proper partner (Disposer) before creating purchase order.
Please throw some tips or suggestion to resole this issue.
Regards,
Ram.Hi,
It seems that the Waste document not yet created and need to be created.
Error with UOM is due to the customizations because, If you have specified a base unit of measure for the document category in Customizing for Waste Management, this is transferred. Last option for the system is to take from Waste material master.
Hope this helps you
Cheers

Need help on Modifying Jsp Code to establish relationships in iStore.
I am currently working on iStore an internet enabled product
from Oracle.
In iStore one can establish relationships between products like
cross sell , complimentary, substitute, conflict etc. However at
the moment only one relationship works i.e: Related. This is
because this is a bug in iStore. Only the relationship Related
is defined in the jsp. We have been asked to modify the jsp
ibeCCtdItemDetail.jsp
Please find pasted below the jsp which only had the arrays for
related i.e: relitems and service i.e service have added the
array complimentary to establish such a relationship and pasted
the relitems code once again and changed relitems to
complimentary. I am stuck up on this since the past 2 weeks i
would appreciate if anybody could help.

Issue with Sender File Adapter
Hi,
In Sender File Adapter I have used content convertion. If the content convetion fails or the channel goes to error state, the sender file channel stops polling. The channel is not polling in the next interval once it goes to error state.
Please help.
Thanks
AravindHi,
That's true.
If one file fails to process due error in content coversion or for any other reason, the channel would stop polling for the next time and also would not process the files following it.
Please correct the content conversion and process the file.

Entries missing for Condition tables in TADIR
Hi,
I have downloaded certain pricing condition tables from ECC (customizing download). They got generated successfully and were visible as 'Active' in SPRO and ABAP Dictionary (SE11).
When I ran the customizing download again, all the tables had become 'Inactive' in SPRO>Customer Relationship Management>Basic Functions>Pricing>Define Settings for Pricing--> Create Condition Tables.
But at the same time, these tables are appearing as 'Active' in SE11 and condition records are also flowing for them from ECC to CRM.
Having checked the log in Transaction SLG1, there are visibly few errors stating 'Entry not found in TADIR' for some condition tables.
Any pointers to identify the source/cause of this error or how to resolve the same?
Thanks & Regards,
VartikaHi Vartika,
The note 457711 will be helpful for you.
Generally these errors on TADIR coversion will not cause any problems on your conditions download..These errors can be ignored.
Please check for inconsistencies between R/3 ad CRM using the note 664815 and correct them. There are reports attached to it for 4 diferent cases.
Thanks
Abishek

Transfer Global Settings - Multiple sources
Gurus/Experts,
I have BW system connected to many other r3 systems and i have this problem coming up for unit of measures being different in all this systems ,so when i load data to cube it fails with error saying UOM not available for this record ,I replicate UOM using transfer global settings of BW and it solves issue
Questions here is what happens if i keep on tranferring global settings from different r3 systems will it overwrite or update it
example -
System R31 = 10 units in table T006
system R32 = 10 units in table T006
system R33 = 10 units in table T006
will it show me 30 entries finally or it will only show me the entries from system R33 ONLY ,the last system i replicated in BW
thankseven if they are not and lets say 2 records are same should be ok rite because finally we need the units value doesnt matter which system gets it
example
system A has value ST
system B has value ST
final table will have value ST since they are not unique ,but thats fine isnt it ,or i am wrong
thanks -
Save Nutrient Analysis Web Service
Hi,
I'm trying to consume the Save Nutrient Analysis v3.0 web service of the EP 3.3. And I'm getting the following error:
"RESULT_INVALID_INPUT UOM [ISOCode:GR, Abbreviation:g] not allowed for InfoodsCode:SUGAR"
The complete input I'm giving for NutrienItems is:
<v3:NutrientItems>
<v3:tNutrientItem>
<v3:InfoodsCode>SUGAR</v3:InfoodsCode>
<v3:ValuePer100Gms>0.3298</v3:ValuePer100Gms>
<v3:UOM>
<v33:ISOCode>GR</v33:ISOCode>
<v33:ID>G</v33:ID>
<v33:Abbreviation>g</v33:Abbreviation>
</v3:UOM>
<v3:Source>From Manufacturer</v3:Source>
<v3:Comments xsi:nil="true" />
</v3:tNutrientItem>
</v3:NutrientItems>
I already tried entering different combinations of InfoodsCode and UOM, and still getting the same error message. This is the query I used to get all the possible combinations:
SELECT
UOM.ID
,UOMML.NAME
,UOMML.ABBREVIATION
,UOM.ISOCODE
,FCLNUTRIENT.INFOODSID
FROM
UOM
INNER JOIN UOMML
ON UOM.PKID = UOMML.FKUOM
AND UOMML.LANGID = 0
INNER JOIN FCLNUTRIENT
ON UOM.PKID = FCLNUTRIENT.FKUOM
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks!
-VictoriaThe Data Admin Toolkit allows you to define the allowed UOMs for nutrient items. It is available in the Extensibility Pack.

Error while changing the UoM in material master
Hi experts....
I am not able change the UoM in the material master. Even if, all the PR , PO and reservations are cancelled .
It still gives me error message " Manual Reservations already exists "
Thanx
GaneshHi
may be some entries got not cancelled properly and entries got locked.
Just check in SM12 if no entries are locked.

Error Message while entering alternate UOM in BOM, despite being maintained
Hello PP Angels,
I wish for a solution for this issue.
When I am creating a BOM,
while entering the line item, with a material number,
when I enter the UOM for the material, which is the alternate UOM maintained in the material master (already)
I am still getting this error message
"Unit of measure DKG not supported for material XXXXX in plant XXXX"
Wishing for a solution at the earliest.Hi,
Thanks for the replies, but my issue is not yet solved.
I have checked that earlier
It works that way
But my issue is i have data ( in a different server), such that
the bom is accepting a UOM that is defined in the Alternate UOM and not maintained as the Unit of Issue.
I am trying to replicate the same thing here but when I add an alternate UOM, which is not in Unit of Issue, then error message is thrown while bom creation.
Are any configs to be checked
Awaiting more responses.
