Error in uploading data from DSO to Infocube in 3.5(rsa1old)

While uploading data from DSO to Infocube, I selected Initial update option
In schedule tab when I clicked start, an error occured it says:
Delete init request
REQU_D4YTAGX8PEOUQJLSKOEPH9EV before running
init. again with same selection.
Can anyone let me know how should I delete that request.

Hi,
Go to RSRQ and enter the request then execute. This should bring you to Monitor u2013 Administration Workbench. From there you will see the InfoSource (usually has u201C8u201D as a prefix). Get the InfoSource name. Go to RSA1 to find the InfoSource. From here it gets a bit tricky. Go to the datasource and drill down to the related InfoPackage. Go to Infopackage scheduling. Then go to Scheduler Menu, the Initialization Options for Source System should be open. You can see from there the request with error. Let me know if this answers your question.

I'm loading data from flat file to the cube via a DSO. I get an error in the DTP.
The data loads to the DSO, i'm able to see the contents in the active data table.
Transformation from DSO to Cube is activated without any errors. Its a one to one mapping. No routines used.
When i execute the DTP ( i use full load option as it is a one time load) i get the following error in DTP: All of which are Red.
Process Request
Data Package 1: Error during processing
Extract from DSO XXXXX
Processing Terminated
The long text of the error gives the msg: Data package 1: Processed with errors RSBK257

Hi All,
Could you please help me any one to resolve the below error.
*"Fixed value discrepancy with InfoObject 0FISCVARNT value 'K4 ', expected 'K2 " (MessageClass RSAU).
We have two Staging DSO's upto Second level DSO FiscalyearVariant both K2 and K4 updating, but second level DSO to infocube data loading we had a above problem. all are direct mapping, no routiunes or constants at all transformation level.
But we checked R/3 side both K2 and K4 variants are available.

Hi,
It's a constant issue I met before. I guess you have assigned a constant value K2 in your target ODS.
Please change the constant back. Go to RSA1, change target ODS, find 0FISCVARNT, right click it and choose 'Provider-specific Properties', remove K2 from 'Constant'.
Now try the reload and I'm sure no more issues. If you really want the constant then you have to change data or transformation.
p.s. Don't forget re-activating transformations and DTP

DB Connect Load - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table"

Hi Experts,
We have our BI7 system connected to Oracle DB based third party tool. The loads are performing quite well in DEV environment.
I would like to know, how we transport DB Connect datasources to Quality systems? Any different process to be followed for DB Connect datasources?
At present the connections between BI Quality and the third party quality systems are established. We transported the DataSource from BI DEV system to BI quality system, but on trigerring an infopackage we are not able to perform loads. It prompts - "Unknow error while uploading data from the DB Table".
Also on comparing the DataSources in DEV system and Quality system there are no fields in "Proposal" tab of datasource in Quality system. Also I cannot change or activate Datasource in Quality system as we dont have change access in quality.
Please advice.

Sorry for bumping an old thread ....
Did this issue get ever get resolved?
I am facing the same one. The loads work successfully in Dev. The transport for DBConnect DS also moved in successfully.
One strange this is that DB User for dev did not automatically change to db user from quality when I transported the DBConnect datasource. DBCon DS still shows me the DB User from Dev in Quality system
I get "Unknown Error" whenever I trigger the data package.

Problem in transfering data from DSO to InfoCube

Hi,
I am trying to transfer data from DSO to Infocube. But it is giving the following message.
Last delta update is not yet completed
Therefore, no new delta update is possible.
You can start the request again
if the last delta request is red or green in the monitor (QM activity)
It is not allowing to load data to InfoCube from DSO. I checked the request number. But there is no request number in InfoCube. If request no is there I can delete the request from InfoCube and delete the data mart status in DSO and reload again.But there is no request id in IC. So plz guide me how I can tranfer data to InfoCube overcoming this problem.
Actually further updata was running from DSO to IC. But it failed. Executing Function Module : RSPC_PROCESS_FINISH, I set the chain green before loading
data to InfoCube. So it starts executing the next chain. So there is no request id. So plz guide me how I can retain this request id.

Hi Reddy,
Make the QM Status Red of the failed request even if it is red.
and then run the same infopackage used in the chain. This will ask for repeat of last delta.
If this process is understood to u then its fine otherwise read below:
the other option is check if this failed request is present in PSA. If it is present in PSA then update the failed request from PSA, here u wont need to do a repeat of last delta. This Option is easier. this u can do from the ,manage tab of the data source I think this u might be surely knowing....

Error while loading data from DataSource to InfoCube/DSO through DTP

Hi Friends,
I am trying to load data from DataSource to InfoCube/DSO through DTP and getting the following error:
Exception in substep: Extraction completed
Processing terminated
Data package 1 / 30.04.2009 22:38:30 / Status 'Processed with Errors'
When i see the detail message it says:
Syntax error in routine "convert_to_applstru", line 25 of generated program"
I checked all my transformation and looks ok. I was able to load data earlier and i getting this error all of sudden. Does some one know what is this routine "convert_to_applstru" ?

How to upload data from Infoset to Infocube

I am trying to upload the data from , Infoset to Infocube, but its not allowing me in the transformations, showing error "Error while activating transformation " Message no. RSTRAN510
Infoset containing 3 Data store objects,
how the data gets loaded from infoset to Infocube?

But we have option, while creating transformation between infoset and Infocube,
Under Infocube, when we create transformation, we have the option from where we can uplaod, in that we have INFOSET also,
i could able to create Transformation, but not able to activate,
let me know, may be we cannot load from infoset to infocube, since we have the option, i think there is some way of loading data from infoset to infocube,

Dear Experts,
I have change update routines of the update rule for DSO & update rule between DSO & cube. when i uploading data in DSO , working fine. But when uploading from DSO to cube , it giving error.
Error Message :
DataSource 8ZDSO_ABB does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
The time stamp in the source system is 30.09.2010 14:05:17.
The time stamp in the BW system is 09.05.2008 16:41:10.
I executed program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL , still giving same error.

Error while creating transformation from DSO to InfoCube

Hi Gurus,
When i am creating tranformation from DSO to InfoCube getting an error, " The unit/currency 'Source Currency 0CURRENCY ' with the value 'space' is assigned to the key figure 'Source Key Fig. ZAMT_PLC ' with the value
'8.50 ' "
ZAMT_PLC is created with 0CURRENCY.
On checking we found that there is no value stored for Currency field in table level itself. Now in this case how do we avoid this error.
I want to know why is this we need to have value for 0Currency field???

Hello Anup,
If you load a key figure which has a unit assigned to it,
then for every records where the key figure has a valid value
(value 0) the corresponding unit has to be delivered as well.
Additionally please check note 1366474 regarding the RSTRAN 312
error message:
"The corrections contained in Note 1165168 are incomplete.
Depending on the sequence during loading, the system may not issue error
message RSTRAN 312 even though data regarding the assigned unit or
currency "space" is incorrect."
This means actually, that the system should have issued the RSTRAN312
error message even before the upgrade, but for some reason this
check found no issues in some constellations. This means furthermore
that your system behaved incorrectly in the past, that this
error message was not triggered if you loaded key figures without
any unit.
I'm sorry to tell you, but the system behaves and works as designed
as it should be even before the correction from note 1366474.
Please change your transformations for key figures which
have a unit assigned, that the unit field is filled correctly.
with the corresponding units, otherwise the system will abort
the processing of the data with the above mentioned error
message.

there is o relation of infoobject name in flat file and infoobjet name at BW side.
please check with the object in the BW and their lengths and type of the object and check your flat file weather u have the same type there,
now check the sequence of the objects in the transfer rules and activate them.
there u go.

Issue while loading of data from DSO to InfoCube

Can you tell me what might root casue if data is coming into DSO from R3 its correct and fine as required but while loading it to InfoCube from DSO its showing wrong data like some of Line Items that were closed were shown open in Cube AND also KF values were not right
Also there is no Routine code involved b/w DSO and InfoCube.

Hope you didnt delete some req from DSO without deleting change log . This might cause inconsistency.
If so , delete data from dso by right click delete data and reload .

Error While Loading data from ODS to Infocube

I am trying to load data from ODS to Infocube thru Update ODS data into data target. My requirement was to take a small subset of fields from ODS and design IC and load the data.
My load fails at Extraction process as I get 0 records from total number of records sent in each package. Please let me know if you need more information.

Green Light for Data Request Received

Yellow for 25000 Records sent(0 records received)

Green Light for Data Selection Ended

Error in uploading data from FIAP ODS to FIAP CUBE

We are trying to upload data from FIAP line item ODS to FIAP CUBE. However it is showing zero records updated for a long time. We tried deleting and repeating the same but again it is showing zero records only. The monitor status is yellow.
Following message is coming on the screen.

Error in loading data from DSO to Cube

Hi
Daily process chains are executed and the data is loaded from DSO to several cubes.
On 7.11.2008, there was an error in one of the cube. When checked in the short dump, the following is the dump msg:
DBIF_REPO_PART_NOT_FOUND. I looked into the note 854261 and had a chat with our basis guy, he said our kernal and patch levels are more then that mentioned in the note.
Strange thing is, from 8.11.2008 to till date, the loads are running fine but the problem was only on that date.
So now i have several request in the cube with loads of data but "WITHOUT" reporting. Because of error on 7.11.2008.
Can anyone help in solving the issue. I want to re-execute the load again and see if the problem occurs again or not.

Hi,
Check the reconstruction tab. If the request is green, you could try deleteing and reconstructing the incorrect request.
