Hi ,Used the Tcode SHD0 , and have entered va01 in transaction CODE , AND IN TRANSACTION VARIANT BUS2030 , I SELECTED THE LINE NUM AND CLISKED ON TEH TAB (WITH PROCESSING0) NEXT FIELD I GOT WAS

DISTRIBUTIN CHANNELDIVISION
I FILLED IN ALL THIS FIELD AND SAVED IT NOW WHEN AM TRYING TO CREATE SLAES ORDER AM GETTING ERROR LIKE (SAOLD TO PARTY XYZ NOT MAINTAINED FOR SALES AREA 2010, PLEASE GIUDE ME COS AM NOT UNABLE TO CREATE ANY SALES ORDER . GUIDE ME ON THIS PLEASE

For sale order to create, There shd be on customer maintained in a sales area. U might have created customer in some other area and trying to create the SO in other Area. Give the correct combination in SO initial screen.
I dont know whether u r asking for this or not, since ur question is not clear.

i'm trying to schedule a background job for the report MEREP_DISTRIBUTOR. it requires me to create a variant. i go to SA38 Transaction and try creating a variant.

Error in Variant Configuration CO684

Hello, friends !
Back in the forum, now with a problem in Variant Configuration.
I was able to carry out the whole process up to the creation of the production order. There I have the error message CO 684 "You cannot make an assignment to make to order stock" .
All the configuration stuff seems to be OK.
I created a sales order configuring the product.
The MRP creates a planned order in the Customer Segment of the MD04.
The components have the special stock E.
I have tried with stock available in warehouse and also tranferring to E using MB1B movement type 412 E.
But the error still remains !!
Any tip or clue ??

In the sales Order:
Item Category: TAC
Requirement Type: KEK (in the procurement Tab); class should be 046.
However, in the controlling for sales order there is no entry for:
TAC " " 046 , only for Class 041, in the Assignment of Requirements Type to transaction.
In the planned order: Account Assigmnment: M (it takes from strategy 25)
Settlement Profile (In the order Type) SD1.
Result Analysis Key: ?? (where can I find it??)

Error 91 means: "The data type of the variant is not compatible with the data type wired to the type input".
Why don't you place a probe on the variant wire entering the function to identify what type it actually contains?
Still, there are some glaring coding mistakes and some cosmetic issues that you might want to address:
Two "index array" in a row are never needed. Simply wire both indices at the first one to get a single element of a 2D array.
The outer sequence frame does not seem to have any purpose. Why is it cluttering the diagram?
Why the inner while loop??? It seems to do the same procedure millions of times per second, operating on the same input and producing the same output, consuming 100% of the CPU power in the process. These calculations needs to be done exactly once (and whenever the data actually changes). Delete the while loop!
Try to avoid hidden wires, overlapping objects, and wires going right-to-left (except for code involving feedback nodes).

There are different kind of dependencies... check this syntax format for pricing characteristic..
$SELF.ZPRICE = 'RED 100' IF COLOUR = RED
AND CC = 100.
In this dependency ZPRICE is the characteristic for pricing, RED and CC are the characteristics for the variant.

Error in execute planning sequence variant in process chain

Hi ,
While creating an Execute planning sequence variant in process chain in Quality system , i am getting an error" variable variant not selected ' though i created a variable variant and selected it in execute planning seq variant.
Transporting it from development system didnt work therefore i am trying to create it directly in Quality .
Any idea what could be the issue.

Variable variant can be saved for planning sequence in modeler and then cab be used in process chains.
In process chain you can choose "Execute planning sequence"( separate process type) and add planning sequence with variant.

Transaction Variant Error

Hi all,
I am trying to create a transaction variant for one of the SAP std transaction and when I execute tcode shd0 and put the tcode there and hit the create button I get the following error message:
Variants are possible only for dialog transactions.
Message no. MS417
Diagnosis
You cannot create variants for variant or parameter transactions.
So can you please tell me how can I create variant for such case.

While Creating Trasnsaction not taking variant in 'Start With Variant'

I am trying to create a transaction for report with variant created through se38 (while creating report). but when I give variant name in 'Start with Variant '.
and try to save it, it gives message 'No System Variant chosen for nonlocal objects'.

I have created a Tcode in SE93 as u sain using the varints.
in clint 300
1.in se93 main screen ihanve enter ZXX_TEST name then pressed create button.
2. then next screen i have selected the 2nd radiobutton(program and selection screen).
3.In Program filed I hve given program name.
4. in START with variant I have given variant name AA.. this is existed in Clint 320, but not existed in Clint 300).
5. if i run this in clint 300 it gives me error because variant AA is not existed in the Clien 300.
6. If i run this in Client 320.. then it is runnig with variant AA.
The variant u r using is not existed...
Check the Vairint is existed or not.. where u r running this.

Hi all,
I encountered this same message when running both S_ALR_87012043 and S_ALR_87012276 transactions (both versions of the GL Account Balances Report) calling the RFSSLD00 program after we upgraded to ECC 6.0.
I had to have our Basis team run a variant adjustment program called RSVARDOC_610 to resolve the issue. The standard variants being called by the program (SAP&001 and SAP&MIN) include additional fields in the ECC 6.0 version. The RSVAR program listed above adjusts the vairants to include these new fields.
But, I have another issue now that I'm able to execute the transactions. The transactions expect certain output (line layouts) to be configured and selected. I'm having a bit of trouble configuring these to look similar to the old report output. Any guidance in this area would be much appreciated.

If we do this
Use table RSSDLINIT and in OLTPSOURCRE: enter the name of the data source
And in the logsys enter the name of the source system and delete the entry for that info package. what will happen is process chain will run suceesfully and short dump will not come or what kindly give the detail explanation about this RSSDLINIT.
