Error in Visual Administrator
Hi...
I'm creating a jCo RFC Provider, in my Visual Administrator.
I put the parameters, but, when I try to start my jCo RFC provider, I've recieving this message:
Error starting bundle, see LOG for details!
So, my question is:
-> Where is my "LOG file, for details"?!
Thanx!
Well... now I'm getting this error messages:

One reason might be the setting of Unix X11 - DISPLAY variable.
Please check whether you can execute other GUI application. Xclock
or something like that.
And please check the environment variable DISPLAY is set correctly.

please suggest me what to do.Hi Sumit Bhargav,
Based on the error message, it seems that the issue is related to NHivernate and MSBuild, but
VS General Question forum discusses the usage issue of Visual Studio IDE such as
WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System
and Visual Studio Editor. In order to check where the issue is, could you please create a new and simple web application without having NHibernate, build it and clean the project?
Whether the web application can be built successfully?
If you get this error when you build or clean any solution, maybe you are experiencing the same issue
described here:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/26930376/how-to-fix-checkattributes-task-could-not-be-loaded-error-after-installing-v
Please check whether the Microsoft.Web.Publishing.Tasks.dll assembly is located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Web. If no, please copy it from somewhere else to this path. If you can’t get a copy of this assembly, I suggest uninstalling VS 2013 Update 4 or uninstalling and
reinstalling all VS components.
If the issue only occurs in the web app with NHibernate implement, then this issue is more related to the specific NHibernate implement in ASP.NET. I recommend consulting
your issue on ASP.NET forum: http://forums.asp.net/

SPNego error in visual administrator
Hi,
I have configured SPNego for our portal running on AIX along with Microsoft ADS as the KDC.
The portal UME has been configured for the ADS. As a result I am able to login to the portal through browser using a ujser-ID/pwd in the Microsoft ADS.
But I face problem when I try accessing the portal with visual administrator. the error message I get in VA is 'Error in SPNegoLoginModule'. The long text of error message from default trace is given at the bottom of this message.
Also, I must confess, that first I had configured the login modules stack in portal with the fallback mechanism; and at that time I was able to access the visual administrator in the portal, but then I changed the login module stack configuration to the one without 'fallback' and since then I have not been able to access the visual administrator.
The resolution mode I have selected is 'none'.
Any help that you could provide with resolution will be highly appreciated and rightly rewarded.
Regards,
Aniket

Error in Visual Administrator Logon
Hi everyone,
I have installed PI with cluster, when i try open Integration Repository, appears the one message with error "...5000/P4".
Then, I have change "P4 Provider" in Visual Administrator to resolve the error above.
In bindHost i have changed the bindHost value for (myhost1:mythost2), list of hosts separed with ":".
After change value above, i restarted the NW Instance.
But now, when i try to do login in Visual Administrator, occurs the following error:
Connot open connection on host "myhost" and port "50104"
I already connect with ports 50000 until 50004 but always occurs the same error listed above.
Can anyone help meDid you put the host name or the IP address (4 octets) <IP address>:<IP address>
We run VCS cluster and we used this scenario it worked for us in the past XI 3.0 SP13. We are now on PI 7.0 SP13 and removed the Hostbind value and that works just fine. We are using virtual hostname with VCS and failover the hostname to the alternate host. This seemed to work just fine in our DR test scenario integrated testing (in this test we did not run any actual load against our systems, but all checks were normal).
Hope that helps. -
NoClassDefFound error in Visual Administrator
I copied the whole c:\usr folder to my laptop, to be able to run the Visual Administrator from there.
It was running ok, until I had to reinstall my whole pc.
The Vis. Adm. starts, but when I connect then the progress bar stops at 99% and the java runtime ends in an exception: Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/engine/services/security/server/AuthenticationContextImpl

I have restarted ep
Now, I am able to login to the system using Administrator login from the browser.

Error while connecting to Visual administrator - Server0 getting Restarted
Hi Experts,
Kindly help me to Tune the JVM Parameters For AS Java ( Enterprise Portal 7)
We are Having our Development Portal on a 32-bit Machine and recently we have migrated the same to a 64-Bit with SAP OS/DB. We are Using IBM DB2 9.1 Fix pack 2.
Now I have to Configure the Java Virtual machine (JVM) Parameters for the EP instance in the 64-bit Hardware. The Hardware details are as Follows :
Ram - 10 GB
Paging Memory - 25 GB
OS - Win 2k3 - SP2
HDD - 500 GB
Current JVM Parameters : For (Server0)
-XX:MaxPermSize=256M
-XX:PermSize=256M
-Xms2048M
-Xmx2048M
-XX:NewSize=171M
-XX:MaxNewSize=171M
Now when iam connecting to Visual Administrator (VA) with administrator it is connecting upto 20 % - 25 % and giving a error - (Ping Timeout - connection to server Lost) and the Server0 is Restarting.
i have modified Xmx and Xmx to 3072 and restarted the J2ee Engine. And now for some time it is ok and again giving the same error.
And modifying the Server0 JVM parameters is sufficient or we have to modify Instance --> Servers General JVM Parameters Too ?**
i Believe this is the problem with JVM Parameters. Correct me if iam wrong
Please Help me to solve this Issue
Thank in Advance

Error in security provider logon stack: no logon to visual administrator
Probably i made a mistake in configuring SAP-J2EE-Engine security provider login modules.
Now i cannot logon to Visual Administrator, it tells me
"Error while connecting
com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseLoginException: Access Denied."
Is there a way to reset login module stack from configtool or in some config file?
Many thanks in advance.
Simone ZaffalonHi
you can configure your login stack configuration using config tool. Config tool works locally against the server's database, thus no authentication is required.
1. Be sure that your server is not running! (shutdown SAP J2EE processes)
2. Launch config tool ("use default db settings").
3. switch to configuration editor mode (the most-right icon in the icon toolbar)
4. navigate to security-->configurations
Here you find your logon stacks and the login modules contained within them. Click on the "pencil" icon for changing your current configuration.
See the thread below .It will resolve your issue

The package libXp.so.6 is already installed and the x server used (Exceed )in my case works fine.Hi Hassan,
Visual Administrator is no more as of NetWeaver 7.10 release. Please start using NetWeaver Administrator (NWA) to configure SLD.
Please have a look at the below link to configure NWA to work with SLD.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/23/b557422d095542e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

Error installing a new license with visual administrator
Hey there,
we´ve installed a SAP EP on Win 2003 Server machine with sapdb on the same host.
I ordered a license from sap an get a .txt-file back.
While installing the license with the visual administrator some java exceptions occurred, but the popup notes everything has finished succesfully - I think because the file was on a netshare on a another host.
So I copied the file to the local drive - then the import runs without an error.
After a restart of the engines ->
the license check is always displaying the "old amount" of 2 days until epxiry.
After a system reboot -> no changes
What went wrong?

Not having ABAP stack is certainly not a concern with license keys.
Once or twice before, even with following/knowing the procedure SAP on a few occasions sends out license keys that are problematic. If you havent opened up an OSS ticket to report the problem, i would do so. Or to have a quicker resolution, you could apply for a new license, but I would include as much information on your customer profile on https://service.sap.com/licensekey.

Visual Administrator: error in HTTP Destination
I want to create a http destination to an ABAP AS in the Visual Administrator like it is described in the Installation Guide for ADS:
"Visual Administrator - Cluster - Services - Destination - HTTP - New". After typing in the destination, I wanted to Save and Test it but allways the same error:
"Error during ping operation: Error while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.HttpExeption: Connect timed out"
The http destination works when starting with I.E. direct on the J2EE server!!!
Edited by: Victor Grogger on Jan 24, 2008 1:16 PMHi Victor,
Normally ignore that message. Then goto se38
and execute the following programs FP_TEST_00 and also
FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE.While executing the program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE first execute the program without destination check. It should return you the pop up with the bytes transfered. Then execute this with the destination check. It should return you with the same messsage. Also check the ADS Connection in SM59 under the
http connections.Check whether the connection test will give a
successfull test or not.
Reward Points if helpful.

Vamshi.
