Error in VL02N: Business Area 701 does not exist

Hi experts,
There's an error that occurs while trying to post a delivery in VL02N, a display log is opened with the message "Business Area X does not exist", the Business Area "1701" is already created, nevertheless, when I try to post the delivery I cheked the Business Area in the Financial Processing tab and it appears as "701" instead of "1701".
I hope any of you can help me.
Thanks in advance
Eloy Venegas

hi,
For the Sales Area, check the rule for determining the Bzness Area(S&D>Basic Functions>Account Assgmnt/Costing>Business Area Account Assignment>...) and make sure ur bzness area '1701' is assigned to the sales area/or any combination that you've defined in the rule.
Let us know, if this helps?
Reward, if helpful.

Raghu.

  • Error - Business partner 30000011 does not exist in role TR0151

    Hello,
I am receiving an error "Business partner 30000011 does not exist in role TR0151" while creating a Fixed Deposit Transaction through FTR_CREATE.
Whilst testing Fixed Deposit accounting in SAP Treasury, i was testing a scenario of a MINOR and his/her GUARDIAN. Both have been created as Business Partners. However, i have NOT created the Minor further as a Customer.
I now have a MINOR defined as a Business Partner, a GUARDIAN defined as a BUSINESS PARTNER and CUSTOMER both and a relationship established between the two through the RELATIONSHIPS tab.
After doing the above, i am trying to create a Fixed Deposit through FTR_CREATE where i am receiving the above mentioned error.
In Customizing, i have checked that the TR0151 is assigned to COUNTERPARTY role and TR0154 to the BENEFICIARY role
The GUARDIAN was created with BP role - Business Partner General and then changed to COUNTER PARTY. The MINOR has been created with BP Role - Business Partner General and then changed to BENEFICIARY.
My expectation was that since MINOR is not defined as Customer, the system would not allow me to create a FD for the Minor and display such a message which would ask me to create the FD using the GUARDIAN as the Business Partner.
    Request your help on this.
    Regards,
    Murtuza.

    Hi,
It is not necessary that a business partner has to be linked to a customer account.  In certain cases, your house bank itself acts as a counterparty, in that case you can directly settle to your bank account instead of managing through a customer.
For your case, you need to maintain the role of counterparty for MINOR as well.  Only if the business partner exists in that role can you create a transaction.

Currently we have basic ESS functionality implemented, so Related activities would be limited to Addresses, Emergency Contacts and Personal Data.
The General information page comes up blank and the following error is displayed in the log:

In checking the homepage framework configuration, the Area does exist and has not been altered from SAP Standard. Resources, Subareas, Services have also been configured as Standard.
Please advise. What is causing this error?

  • An error has occurred: The plugin -65221 does not exist in the CMS

    Hi,
I already raised this issue before and I thought this is already fixed. Everytime I upload this Crystal Report and try to schedule it using the RESCHEDULE window, I can't change the parameters. Everytime I click on the value of each parameter, the following error displays:
"An error has occurred: The plugin -65221 does not exist in the CMS"
What can be the cause of this and how can I resolve this? We are using Business Objects XI R2 with SP2 and Crystal Reports XI.
    Thanks.

    Hello Neozeke,
I recommend to post this query to the [BusinessObjects Enterprise Administration|BI Platform; forum.
This forum is dedicated to topics related to administration and configuration of BusinessObjects Enterprise, BusinessObjects Edge, and Crystal Reports Server.
It is monitored by qualified technicians and you will get a faster response there.
Also, all BOE Administration queries remain in one place and thus can be easily searched in one place.

  • Area MSS_HCM_AREA_RELATEDACTIVITY does not exist

    Hi,
Our customer is implementing XSS on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 and SAP Portal 7.02 SP8.
All Business Packages are deployed and the funcionalities (ESS and MSS) running on WD4A are fine and most of WD4J funcionalities as well.
At the moment we are facing a problem when we click on Team -> General Information or Team->Personnel Development. A new window opens, but no data is listed on Employee Search, General Data, Related Activities tabs...
I checked the trace and I could see the following error:
    Area MSS_HCM_AREA_RELATEDACTIVITY does not exist.
So I have searched and I could see that it is related to a cache issue and I tried the following, but without success: performed
1 - Performed SPRO Tcode to check if MSS_HCM_AREA_RELATEDACTIVITY is configured on Area Page. It´s configured!
2 - Executed the FMs to clear the cache:
    - HRWPC_OADP_DELETE_TGTOBJCACHE
    - HRWPC_OADP_DELETE_SRCHOBJCACHE
    - HRWPC_OADP_DELETE_NAVOBJCACHE
    - HRWPC_OADP_DELETE_DATAVWCACHE
    And the follow link:
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/HowtogetridofCacheissues
Can someone please give me a tip to solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Bruno

    Hi Saurabh,
The problem is that neither the employees list are appearing. All tabs are showed, but all of them are empty and the user is a manager.
For example, If I call the functionality Team->Compensation Information, it works fine, all the employees under the manager are showed on the list. Remembering Compensation Information on EHP5 is a WD4A application.
    Thanks,
    Bruno

    Hi,
I think you are executing the select statement for schema X and the table is in the schema srnr.
And schema X is not having select privilege on the table 'students' present in schema srnr.
    Goto schema srnr.
    Execute the following statement:
    grant select on students to X;
This will give schema X the privilege to query the table students present in srnr.

  • Error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please...

    Dreamweaver newest - Cloud
    Windows 7 Prof 64b SP1
Everyday now upon firing up Dreamweaver I am getting the same error. As long as I worked on this certain site last the day before, dreamweaver of course tries to load that site upon the next startup.
The error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please choose a new local root folder
I have typed the path myself and browsed to it many times.  When I go into the Site manager/edit site to correct this, it already has the correct path listed there.  If I just leave what is there and hit save, it doesn't work.  Once re entering is done it allows me to work on the site again. Connecting to remote/upload files and everything works fine.  I can close DW and reopen and all will be fine, for a while.    If I close it and maybe two hours later come back to work on it, DW will report that same error again on startup.
Other editors of the site with same cloud version of DW and same site settings are not having this error. We've combed for differences.
I've deleted the site definition altogether and recreated it.  It does not stop the error.
I found some old references to this issue in the old macromedia forums dealing with Mac and spaces or odd characters being an issue in the local folder path. I'm on windows, but the complaints sounded so similar I decided to try a test suggested there.  Their suggestion was to create a new blank html file, without saving, add some text, select the text, use the link icon in the properties manager to drag a link out to any file in the files panel.  Upon doing so, DW creates a full local path that you can see in your html since you haven't saved the file yet.  The suggestors of this test said you should see if your "mac" and DW was having trouble with spaces or odd characters in the path.   Well the following path shows a PIPE character being created in the path by DW on my test page.
    file:///W|/private/09 Websites/zzzzzz/index.html
Could this be showing there is some kind of issue that I need to correct?  Or is this typical?  See the pipe character being listed after the network drive letter of W
    Our local root folder path:
    W:\private\09 Websites\zzzzzz\
    Server Settings:
         Root Directory:
    public_html/zzzzzz.com/
         Web URL:
    HypertextTransferProtocolCOLON//worldwideweb.zzzzzz.commercial/
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Is this how your remote setting is defined? If it is, do you have a folder called zzzzz.com on your remote server trailing public_html? Ideally public_html is your website root - index.html resides within that, unless your configuration states otherwise.
To come to your actual question of the local root folder, yes, your file manager wont show files if the connection fails. However, accessing it depends on the permissions you have on your network drive. Have you checked that?
I'm not sure why our guy has another folder underneath public_html. My guess is he has some company related hosted test folders for various things under there.  I can see a couple other folders under public_html while checking with filezilla. I suppose he just directed our domain to our web folder under public_html.
Again, two others here are using these exact same settings with no root folder errors from DW. We've checked many times and all is the same for them.
Here are some screen grabs of the settings if this makes it more clear.
This last one showing the remote connection address under the files/assets panel is the one that looks strange to me.  It shows a home folder / then a folder with our site name / then public_html / then our sitename.com .    Seems convoluted to me.  But it works for everyone else so I'm not sure if this error I'm getting has anything to do with these settings or if there is just some old DW settings file hung up in my system that I need to find and delete or what.
    Thanks for any ideas.

    Hi,
Check the corrections given in the note 990764:
    Reason and Prerequisites
Up to now, using a characteristic with its own master data read class as the InfoProvider was not supported. This is now released but it is not available for all modelings. Using the attributes in the query is not supported for characteristics that have their own master data read class. Using the attributes in the query causes a termination. Hi to All,

I've assigned the Tax code to company code, but still I'm not able to solve this problem. Could anybody tell me the areas in which I may have made the mistake?
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Piyush
You assign your tax code to company code at IMG--> Logis General --> Tax on Goods Movemnt --> Basic Settings --> Calculation of excise duty -> Condition type excise determination --> Maintain Tax code to country code
If still problem is not resolved you maintain the all rates to 0 in FTXP of this Tax code.

If I am not wrong, I guess you are using template/table inside your smartform.. which is causing the error.
I issue could be because of the condition on the text inside the template which might be overlapping the output structure line and column. The issue can be also be because of your table cell.
To trouble shoot place a false condition(like 1 = 2) first on table and if error still occurs then remove condition on table and place it on structure.
I guess, the above answer will help you to close the thread.
