Hi guys...i have a problem...i have used a Web service through an xcelsius model and i try to execute ....the refresh on open works fine but when i try to call again the web service during execution it appears send the original value and obviously

I hope somebody could help me with this....

Hi Oscar,
Are your input values fixed, or are they set to change dynamically?
If you set the input values in the Web Service property sheet as a typed-in, fixed value, the Web Service will always pass the particular value to the web service, and will return whatever data is associated with that input value.
If the input value is set to pass dynamically (i.e. bound to cell), then you can have components adjust the input value of the web service call, run the Web Service, which should then pass whatever value you chose prior to executing the Web Service.

  • Calling a web service through SSL via a stand alone java class

    HI,
    I am trying to call a web service through SSL via a simple stand alone java client.
    I have imported the SSL certificate in my keystore by using the keytool -import command.
    Basically I want to add a user to a group on the server. Say I add a user user 1 to group group 1 using an admin userid and password. All these values are set in an xml file which I send to the server while calling the server. I pass the web service URL, the soap action name and the xml to post as the command line arguments to the java client.
    My xml file(Add.xml) that is posted looks like :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
    xmlns:xsi = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENC = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsd = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XMLSchema"
    SOAP-ENV:encodingStyle = "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <namesp1:modifyGroupOperation xmlns:namesp1 = "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp">
    <auth>
    <user>adminUser</user>
    <password>adminPassword</password>
    </auth>
    <operationType>ADD</operationType>
    <groupName>group1</groupName>
    <users>
    <userName>user1</userName>
    </users>
    </namesp1:modifyGroupOperation>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    I call the client as:
    java PostXML https://com.webservice.com/services/modifyGroup "/services/modifyGroup/modifyGroupOp" Add.xml
    I my client, I have set the following:
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "C:\\Program Files\\Java\\jre1.5.0_12\\lib\\security\\cacerts");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "password");

  • Calling a WSSE Enabled Web Service Through a Java Proxy Class

    I am trying to create a client that can access a WSSE enabled web service through
    the generated java proxy. For now all I am asking for in the .wsse file is the
    username and password with the line <token tokenType="username"/>. In the client
    I am setting the username and password token exactly as the BEA documentation
    describes:
    UserInfo ui = new UserInfo("myuser", "mypassword");
    session.setAttribute(WSSEClientHandler.REQUEST_USERINFO, ui);
    Yet I am getting the following error message when I try to run the client:
    java.rmi.RemoteException: SOAP Fault:javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException:
    EJB Exception: ; nested exception is:
    com.bea.wlw.runtime.jws.wssecurity.exception.WLWWSSEException: Policy
    requires Message to contain UsernameToken, UsernameToken not found in the Message.
    Can anyone tell me what I am missing?
    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,
    In your standalone client, use the following two properties to send a
    user name and password to the service so that the client can
    authenticate itself: javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.username
    javax.xml.rpc.security.auth.password
    See the docs [1]
    Hope this helps,
    Bruce

    Hi,
    Jason Straub's excellent [Flexible Web Service API|http://jastraub.blogspot.com/2008/06/flexible-web-service-api.html] could be just what you need.
    The blog posting also describes how to integrate the code into your page.

  • CompileException: Error compiling web service (using ant jwsc)

    Hi,
    I try to use the ant task jwsc to create my portable artefacts for a web service.
    Unfortunately I get the following exception:

    I do not know why the ant task can not compile my jws file (shown below) whereas Eclipse can!
    package test;
    import javax.jws.WebService;
    @WebService (name="WsTestName", serviceName="WsTestServiceName")
    public class WsTest {
    * @param name
    * @return Say hello to the person.
    public String sayHello(String name) {
    return "Hello, " + name + "!";
    I hope somebody can help me.

    I thought I would post an update since I found a solution. The problem was a ClassCast exception in a part of the SSL stack, that wanted to use the ant BuildException class. This has the effect of hiding the real issue which was that the SSL connection was not successfully occuring. The real problem was that the SSL connection started with a WSDL retrieved via SSL, but the connection for the port was through a username/password. When a username/password is used to create a port, the WL stack falls back to http and causes a ClassCast exception on weblogic.wsee.connection.transport.http.HttpTransportInfo. The solution is to create an https transport object when the service impl is created:
    HttpsTransportInfo transport = new HttpsTransportInfo ();
    transport.setUsername (user.getBytes ());
    transport.setPassword (pass.getBytes ());
    gServiceImpl = new PersistenceManagerService_Impl (url, transport);
    and to create the port without parameters:
    port = getServiceImpl ().getPersistenceManagerServicePort ();
    This allows one-way SSL with username/password for the connection.

  • CANNOT_READ_PAYLOAD error in Web Service Response

    Hi experts,
    We are deploying a webservice on SAP PI, when we call the SAP PI webservice directly, everything works normal, and we get a response.
    When we call the SAP PI web service through a different J2EE web service, the fields in response are null(though the SOAP message is received), because PI is not able to get the PAYLOAD in the SOAP request, the following error is obtained in the response.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Request Message Mapping
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">

      <SAP:Stack>Unable to read payload from the message object</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    Every other configuration and the web service settings used are the same, Only the direct call to a WEB SERVICE DEPLOYED IN SAP PI engine is redirected through a WEB SERVICE deployed in J2EE engine to the SAP PI engine, is causing problems.
    Please Help..Urgently.
    Thanks..

    Hi,
    Are both requests (plain PI and WS encapsulated) strictily identical ? If PI can not parse body when intermediate WS is invoked, it might be due to a (slight) change in the WS request (ie namespace, declaration etc) ...
