Error In WorkBook Bex Analyzer : Messages available

Hello Experts,
When i open a Workbook, I have this message in the status bar:
"Messages available; double-click to display them"
When I double click, I have a pop-up window with warning "there is a condition.., results row supress..."
Our client don't want to see the message ""Messages available; double-click to display them", When he opens his workbook.
How can we do this, Please?
I found this link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/89/127f4a697c49a7896f18a45dd30e8b/content.htm
But it doesen't work!
Many thanks.
Best regards,
Amine

Hi Amine,
Option 1)
Try this - there is an option called "Show messages for problem analysis" in the behavior tab of global settings. try to uncheck that if it is checked.
or
Option 2)
Try Note 1009903 - Suppressing messages for all queries
or
Option 3)
Use tcode RSRT and type in the tcode "SUPPR_ALL" and check all the suppress messages.
Hopefully you will succeed.

  • Suppressing BEx Analyzer messages

    Dear all,
I would like to suppress SAP BEx Analyzer messages (In BW 3.5). I know that the in the BEx you can use the setting suppress warnings, but is the also a way to control this from the back-end?
Be aware the messages are Analyzer messages not query messages. So RSRT setting won't help.
I've looked at the blog How To Suppress Messages Generated by BW Queries from Marc Bernardbut this is not the solution
    Suggestions are welcome.
    many thanks
    Rob

    Hi there,
    No they don't.
Maybe we're not talking about the same how to. Here it is:
In this how to, you're supressing in the back-end a particular message that is not in the RSRT for all the users or all the options when this message appears.

  • Error when launching BEx analyzer from Portals

    BI Gurus...
We are working on an initiative to migrate our user interface from SAP GUI to Enterprise Portal.
Bex Analyzer is primary mode of reporting at this time.
After importing the Roles into EP, I am able to execute the web queries successfully, in the BEx Wen analyzer. But, I get an error when I click on any of the excel workbooks. Our expectation was that once we click on the excel workbook name, the BEx analyzer will launch from EP. But it seems like the issue is with launching BEx Analyzer from BI Portal.
Has anyone faced this issue before?
Is it possible to launch BEx Analyzer from EP?
Are their some key portal settings we have missed out on to enable launching BEx analyzer from EP?
    Please provide your thoughts/experience.
    Thanks,
    Ajay.

    Hi WernerS,
    Thanks for your response.
The RRMXP Transaction works and it launching the BEx Analyzer as expected.
Now, as per our research, I think there are 2 ways of launching BEx analyzer from BI Portals.
    1) Call via a URL
You can call BEx Analyzer via the following URL: http(s)://<server:port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/rsr_bex_launch/bexanalyzerportalwrapper.htm
You can modify the URL to open BEx Analyzer with either a workbook, a query or a query view. You can use the following parameters to do this:
    ●      Parameter to open the workbook: ?WBID=<wb_id>
I have tried calling via URL iView, but instead of launching the BEx Analyzer, it just throws a dialog box to "save" or "open" a file, RRMX.bex. When I try to open this file, it says "Invalid File Format".
I tried opening the file in notepad and I see the following parameters passed.
               test
               Data=BX2,CONAJP,EN,mikoyan,17,,,250,
               9
Any clue about what I am doing wrong?
    2) Calling via a Transaction
You can generate BEx Analyzer in Portal Content Studio as an SAP Transaction iView.
The iViews are of type SAP Transaction iView and have the code link com.sap.portal.app integrator.sap.Transaction.
The most important properties are System, Transaction Code (TCODE) and ApplicationParameter.
    ●      The Transaction Code for all workbooks is RRMXP.
    ●      The ApplicationParameter property contains the value WBID=<WORKBOOK_ID>.
I have tried this approach as well. When I open this iView, I see the RRMXP transaction in the Internet explorer, but the workbooks still does not open in the BEx Analyzer (Excel)
Any thoughts on where am I going wrong ?
    Thanks,
    Ajay.

  • Error when using BeX Analyzer 7.0 with Excel 2007

When i try to execute a query in BeX analyzer 7.0 and my microsoft excel version is 2007, there will always have a fatal error showing. However, when i use the Bex Analyzer 3.5 , i could execute the query.
    Anyway to solve this problem?

You need to do the following
Identify the SAP GUI version you're using, 6.40 or 7.10, and the patch level.
Identify the BW or BI Add-on and patch level of it.
From there, check to see if the versions you have actually support BI 7.0 and Excel 2007.  Reliable Excel 2007 support requires failry current patch levels of both the SAP GUI and the corresponding BW/BW Add-ons..
Do you have access to a PC that has a more recent version of the SAP GUI and BW/ BI Add-on?  If so, try using that PC and see if you still have the problem.

  • Error occured: Error in Source. No Message Available

    Hello all,
This is a problem I encountered when migrating a page from ep5 to ep6 (sp9).
The page consists of 2 iViews:
    1. An iView for inserting search details.
    2. An iView for displaying results.
The two iViews communicate using EPCF script methods.
When trigerring the event in the ep6 page, I get the above message in the results iView.
Other pages that are using the same methodology are working fine, so I think that the EPCF configuration is ok (it is set to default).
Needless to say, this page worked like a clock in ep5.
I'm pretty lost right now, so any help would be appreciated (and rewarded...)
    Thanks ahead,
    yoav.

    Hi Yoav,

  • What are the standard bex analyzer reports available?

    hi all
what are all the std reports available for fico? sd and mm?
    thanxs in advance
    regds
    hari

    Hi,
This is the best way...and the simplest way....since it is a big question....just go Business content tab in RSA1 and there go to "query elements" option and cick on the option "select objects" this will give you all the standata BW queris based on all the BC cubes and it will not show self developed queries in you system.
So fo MM reports go to...Infoarea "Supply Chain Management"-> "Inventory Management"....here you will see all the cubes related to MM and the reports nased on that.
for FICO go to Infoarea FMCO Financial management and controlling.........
Similarly you can find for SD.
If you want to find the detailed information about all the queries .....you will have to search the help.sap.com witth the same name of the cubes and you will get various links explaining that.
    Thanks

  • Regarding Error while executing Bex analyzer after execution

    HI,
    Need in urgent.
I had created a bex query which contains suppose columns A  B C(amounts) , Based on this two columns a formula is created F1 = (AB) and  F2 =  (BC) and F3 = (F1 / F2) now in this case when F2 does not contain any value it is giving "X" in red color. I tried  if as " (F2 <> 0 * (F1/F2)) " it is not working, i thing because when I see the out put in the column F2 where their is no value at that place it is not containing "0" (Zero) But contains space.
I have a thought but not able to implement in the formula " (F2 <> Space * (F1/F2)) "  But not able to write space.
So is their any way to solve this.

    Hi,
U mean when F3 = (F1/F2) and F2 is not having any value then you are getting value of F3 as red X. Their is an inbuilt function to avoid this divide by zero problem.
That inbuilt data function is NDIV0(F3), where F3 = Calculated Key Figure.
You can also set how to display the bex values with transaction RSCUSTV4. Here you can set the display setting for following values in Bex Query Designer:
    1. Division by 0
    2. Does not exist
    3. Mixed Values
    4. No Authorization

  • Error time interval Bex analyzer

    Hello
I have a report where I need to show the number of transactions for users and machines, ranges of hours, I created a structure with field time intervals, for the amount of transactions that fall into each range of hours, but I observe that repeats the amount of transaction in two ranges of hours but can not find the reason why he repeats, for example there are two ranges of hours and 14:00:00 to 15:00:00 and 15:00:00 to 16:00:00, and check the time of operation 15:10:00 should fall in the range of 15:00:00 to 16:00:00 but the report also showing me what is in the range  14:00:00 to 15:00:00 which should not be correct, since it is after 15:00:00.
Can someone help me to stress going on?
Under the image of the report as it is showing.
    regards
    Nando.

Please check the range value properly if possible share the logic used as well.

Most probably, entry for the system is missing in the ini file. check if you are able to connect to Bex analyzer on some other system. If yes, copy the INI file from that system to your system.

Kindly help me to suppress or eliminate this message. I am not able to find this message in the list of messages available in RSRT either.

    Hi Mui Kanva,
Does your problem occur in a copied system?
I have same problem in our Quality-BW (copied from productive system). WE are in our QBW not able to activate personalization correct and get the same error messages. I suggest the reason in the fact, that the source-system Myself (QBW) does not work correct. This reason causes that export data sources could not be activated via RFC-Connection.
Please check to activate your source system?
We accept the error messages in our QBW and did not activate the RFC connection.

  • Button in bex analyzer workbook

    Hello all
I am trying to customize a button in bex analyzer workbook (BI 7).
I want to insert a planning sequence into the button. As far as i know (and as i did ), if the sequence contain variables, i should see in the static parameters : VAR_NAME_1 and VAR_VALUE_1, and so on.
For some reason i dont have the VAR_VALUE_1 part, and if i try to write it i get error.
What is the reason for this?
    Best
    Yuval

Once I am adding VAR_VALUE_1 to the static parameters, the system generates two messages error:
Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
System error in program SAPLRRS2 and form GET_SID-1
